Liska Biometry (OTCBB: LSKA), a leading provider of biometric identification solutions, today announced that its Al-Cor ID Solutions subsidiary has produced 5,000 cards for the Arizona Diamondbacks' Premium Package for the Legacy Club as well as 18,000 Washington Redskins' Fan Appreciation Day souvenir beaded necklaces for the City of Virginia Beach.

Jack Lecza, Senior Vice-President of Operations for Liska Biometry in Phoenix, said, "The sports market is yet another that our credentialing expertise can support. In the case of the Diamondbacks, the cards are to allow access to the luxury suites as well as for refreshments/concession stands for the suites and for field box seats. As prices for sporting events rise, and as teams offer more and more amenities for their fans who are prepared to pay premium prices, the risk of counterfeit tickets and other access devices increases. Our cards offer clubs like the Diamondbacks a relatively inexpensive way to protect their investments and their fans using state-of-the-art biometric technology."

He added, "Recently, Al-Cor produced 18,000 beaded necklaces as part of Washington Redskins' Beach Blitz to be held in the City of Virginia Beach from May 18 to May 20. The contract calls for Phoenix-based Al-Cor to provide equipment, software and support for a system that enrolls and authenticates Valley Metro employees and bus discount ID card holders. The system will be deployed at 10 facilities in Phoenix and the surrounding cities served by Valley Metro. In December, the Company announced that Al-Cor was awarded a contract to provide the Sheriff's Office of Maricopa County (which covers Phoenix) with wrist bands that are part of a total inmate identity solution in keeping with the Sheriff's unique approach to inmate identification.

Liska Biometry (OTCBB: LSKA), a leading provider of biometric identification solutions, today announced its DCS Europe subsidiary has won a second contract from a major Germany pharmaceutical firm. The contract includes the manufacturing as well as visual and electronic personalization of 20,000-employee smart card credentials based on the LEGIC technology. Liska will also consult on the architecture to get full functionality for using the multi-application card.

The company also announced that it had its DCS8000 and DCS1000 Mobile capture solution products on the stand of a major German insurance company. Liska captured about 1,500 persons for the purpose of a new electronic Health Card project -- presently the biggest IT project in Germany.

Schade dass INFINEON hat damals den Auftrag für US Pässe gekriegt -das wäre ja der Hammer für Liska.

This line of portrait capture environments can include everything from Liska's own DCS8000 CCD camera and software SDK to a full portrait capture studio, with infrared lighting, and custom photo booth. The entire environment is capable of creating, correct by construction, FIPS-201 portraits, as well as biometrically compliant, ICAO compliant images. The platform was designed so that any operator could produce, right the first time, high quality, ICAO compliant portraits each time.
