      13:37 EDT Tuesday, April 10, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - April 10, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce plans to expand on a high-grade gold discovery intercept of 6.21 g/t gold and 3.0 g/t silver across 15.3 metres from its Autumn 2006 diamond drilling program on the Sonora property (see news release dated Jan. 15, 2007), Dawson Range area, Yukon Territory, Canada. The new discovery intercept, from the "Amadeus Zone" includes a sub-interval of 12.19 g/t gold and 4.8 g/t silver across 5.0 metres and is open at depth. Other drill intersections from the 2006 drill campaign include 19.9 metres of 0.321 g/t gold and 50.1 g/t silver and 4.5 metres of 3.60 g/t gold and 14.6 g/t silver.

The CDN $1.5 million exploration program, to begin June, 2007 will include a minimum of 11 diamond drill holes for 2,725 metres. The 2007 drill campaign has three main priority objectives: five step-out holes and two exploration holes along strike to test the extent of the high-grade gold intercept at the Amadeus Zone, two drill holes to test the "Jupiter" gold-copper soil geochemical anomaly, one hole targeting the "Gold Vein Zone" on the west side of the property and a drill hole into an area of high gold-in-soil anomalies associated with ultramafic rocks north of the Jupiter Zone. A map showing the previous drill hole locations and the zones is available at www.firestoneventures.com.

In addition, the 2007 program will include reconnaissance geological mapping, prospecting and geochemical sampling on the Sonora property and on the new "Chopin" claimblock covering the Pitts and the Panther historical mineral occurrences similar in geochemistry to the Sonora property.

"Rarely does a first drill campaign in a previously undrilled area produce such high-grade gold results," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "We have increased our land position and are working on integrating historical data sets. We look forward to expanding on the Amadeus Zone gold discovery."

In related news, Firestone would like to announce the acquisition of a historical data set ("the Data") of original maps, reports and field notes pertaining to the Company's Sonora Gulch project area and the Dawson Range in general. In consideration for the Data and subject to TSX Venture approval, the Company will issue 25,000 common shares to one subscriber at $0.51 per common share. In addition, a total of 5,000 common shares will be issued to an arm's length individual at $0.51 per common share as a finder's fee. All securities issued in connection with the acquisition of the Data will be subject to a four month hold period.

      April 18, 2007 - Firestone Ventures Inc. (FV:TSX-V, F5V:FSE) is pleased
to announce that an airborne geophysics survey has commenced on its
100% owned Alberta Sun uranium project in southwestern Alberta, Canada.
The seven day survey will focus on four blocks identified as being the
most prospective for sandstone-hosted uranium deposits.

The survey is being carried out by Fugro Airborne Surveys using a
helicopter flying grid lines at 100 metre spacings on 2384 line
kilometers targeting four prospective areas. The survey will consist
of "frequency domain" electromagnetic and magnetic surveying. In
conjunction with the airborne survey, Firestone Ventures has
commissioned TerraNotes Ltd. to carry out Radarsat Imaging Analysis and
interpretation of preliminary data, followed by sophisticated modeling
of the airborne survey dataset. The total cost of the Spring, 2007
program is estimated at $380,000, ensuring that the primary permit
areas of the Alberta Sun project will be in good standing for an
      additional two years.

"The four blocks cover areas of favorable stratigraphy and uranium
indicators. The main purpose of the airborne survey is to identify
buried stream channels and this may be followed by a radon cup detector
survey," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "The
price of uranium has increased further to over US $100/lb. We are
using innovative new technology to explore for uranium in Alberta -- a
      great energy-producing province."

The Alberta Sun uranium property (covering over 350,000 acres) is
characterized by easy access across southern Alberta rangeland. The
area is underlain by Cretaceous to Tertiary marine and non-marine
sandstones and tuffs. The geological target is sandstone-hosted (or
"roll-front") uranium similar to deposits from Wyoming to northern
Texas. Sandstone-hosted uranium deposits are an economically important
source of uranium production. Prior consultation with independent
experts on sandstone-hosted uranium exploration confirmed the initial
economic and exploration potential of southwestern Alberta (see News
      Release dated Sept. 14, 2005).

Results of initial fieldwork at the Company\'s project include
scintillometer readings of up to 1250 cps (counts per second), visible
alteration, shale beds and abundant hematite and carbonaceous material
within the sandstone unit. Composite grab samples of isolated organic
debris material returned up to 7640 ppm uranium (0.901 U3O8). Grab
rock samples (sandstone) from a separate area 40 km southeast returned
57 to 150 ppm uranium. Elevated vanadium, molybdenum, arsenic, and
lead values, important indicators of sandstone-hosted uranium, occur at
both areas (see previous News Releases available at
      www.firestoneventures.com).

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - April 26, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce that it has completed the purchase of underlying royalties on the three properties (Alberta Sun, Redrock and Fort Macleod) comprising the Alberta Sun uranium project in southwestern Alberta, Canada.

Firestone owns 100% of the three uranium properties that collectively are known as the Alberta Sun project. Two of the properties, Alberta Sun and Redrock, were acquired by purchase in 2005 and each was subject to a 2% net smelter royalty (NSR). Firestone has purchased 1% of the NSR on both properties from the vendor for a total price of $25,000. In addition, Firestone has also purchased 1% of the underlying NSR from Marum Resources Inc. on the property acquired by Firestone Ventures from Marum earlier this year (see news release dated February 20, 2007) for $12,500.

Firestone Ventures has been advised by Fugro Airborne Surveys that the airborne geophysical survey flown over four blocks of favorable stratigraphy and uranium indicators is now complete (see news release dated April 18, 2007). Processing of the data and further data enhancement by TerraNotes Ltd. is underway.

The drill program is now complete. A total of 41 drill holes were drilled to depths ranging from 21.3 metres depth to 166.7 metres, totalling 3,493 metres. Assay results remain pending for the final 14 samples from drill hole TH07-63; these samples will be shipped for analysis in May.

The final drill hole (TH07-64) was drilled in the "Bulge" zone of high grade zinc mineralization to recover representative drill core for metallurgical testing; the core was not assayed.

All holes were drilled vertically through mineralized dolostone breccia and intersected serpentinite basement rock. "Step-out" exploration drill holes on the west side of Torlon Hill were spaced approximately 50 metres apart, much more dispersed than the 15 metre "in-fill" drill hole spacing in the "Bulge" area of surface and near surface exposures of high-grade zinc (smithsonite) mineralization to the east.

"Our intention was to complete in-fill drilling in the "Bulge" area, expand the area of known zinc mineralization on the east side of Torlon Hill, and lastly to begin exploring for buried zinc mineralization on the west side of Torlon," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "The program was very successful. The high quality of work by our local partners on improving access, drill site preparation, moving equipment and supplies and work on site enabled us once again to complete our objectives on schedule and on budget."

Next Steps at Torlon Hill - Surface Exploration, Metallurgical Testing and Initial Resource Estimate

There is considerable exploration potential at Torlon Hill, as established by the discovery of blind zones of high-grade zinc mineralization during this winter's drill campaign. A two-week surface exploration program designed to prospect for additional targets close to the drilled areas has commenced and is scheduled to be completed before the rainy season (May to October) begins.

Firestone Ventures plans to engage SGS Lakefield Research Limited (Lakefield), Canada to conduct testwork on material from Torlon Hill. Lakefield SGS has extensive experience on beneficiation of oxide zinc and lead-zinc ores. Concurrent with the metallurgical testing will be compilation of data from the recently completed drill program and the calculation of an initial 43-101 compliant resource estimate from the "Bulge" area defined by close-spaced drilling on the east side of Torlon Hill. The resource estimate will be produced by consultants Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited of Toronto, Canada.

An updated drill hole location map (including assay results), table of significant drill intersections, drill hole specifications, news releases, a longitudinal section sketch, FAQ sheet and photos are available at www.firestoneventures.com.

The road-accessible Torlon Hill project is located 18 road kilometres northwest of the city of Huehuetenango, near the Pan-American Highway in western Guatemala.

This news release has been reviewed and approved by John Cleary, (CPG), Qualified Person for the Torlon Hill project in accordance with regulations under National Instrument 43-101. Sample preparation, quality control and analytical techniques have been described previously (see January 11, 2007 news release). All samples were analyzed by ALS Chemex in Vancouver, B.C.

Firestone Ventures Inc. is a well-financed Canadian-based resource exploration and development company with zinc, gold and uranium projects in Western Canada and Central America. The common shares of the Company are currently listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (symbol FV) and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (symbol F5V).

EDMONTON, ALBERTA, Jul 4, 2007 -- Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce that its $1.5 million drilling exploration program on the Company's Sonora gold-silver-copper property in Yukon Territory, Canada is proceeding on schedule. The crew has mobilized on to the property with drilling expected to begin shortly. The 5,244 hectare (12,952 acre) Sonora property is located within 25 kilometres of a seasonal access road and within 40 kilometres of Sherwood Copper's Minto copper-gold project, currently in production.

The 2,400-meter drill program is designed to expand upon a high-grade gold discovery intercept of 6.21 g/t gold and 3.0 g/t silver across 15.3 metres, open at depth, discovered during its Autumn 2006 diamond drilling program (see news release dated Jan. 15, 2007) and to test additional anomalies on the property. The new discovery intercept, from the "Amadeus Zone", includes a sub-interval of 12.19 g/t gold and 4.8 g/t silver across 5.0 metres. Other drill intersections from the 2006 drill campaign include: 19.9 metres of 0.321 g/t gold and 50.1 g/t silver, and 4.5 metres of 3.60 g/t gold and 14.6 g/t silver.

In addition, the 2007 program will include reconnaissance geological mapping, prospecting and geochemical sampling on the recently expanded Sonora property and on the new "Chopin" claimblock covering the Pitts and Panther historical mineral occurrences, having a similar geochemical signature to the Amadeus Zone.

"The crew has completed extensive safety training and we are excited about beginning the 2007 exploration season at the Sonora project. The Dawson Range area in Yukon Territory is a rich mineral belt containing gold, copper, silver and molybdenum. The start of production at the Minto Mine, just 40 km from Sonora, and the planning for a new transmission power line are all positive developments for the area," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc.

Firestone Ventures Identifies New Zinc-Lead Anomalies From Soil Geochemistry at the Torlon Hill Project
      08:30 EDT Tuesday, July 10, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - July 10, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce that the May, 2007 surface exploration program consisting of prospecting and soil sampling at the Company's Torlon Hill zinc-lead project in Guatemala has defined a zinc and lead soil anomaly extending 400 metres south of the previously drilled area.

The soil grid covers approximately 300 metres by 500 metres on the gently sloping south end of Torlon Hill in an area that has undergone limited or no previous exploration. A total of 69 soil samples were collected every 50 metres on east-west lines 50 metres apart. Twenty of the 69 soil samples yielded values above 500 ppm zinc up to a maximum value of 2,690 ppm zinc (0.27%). Coincident with the anomalous zinc values were anomalous lead values. Twenty-two of the soil samples yielded values above 500 ppm lead to a maximum value of 10,750 ppm lead (1.07%). Silver values were generally low (less than 1 ppm), but ranged up to 5 ppm (5 grams/tonne silver).

"The soil grid covers an area targeted for drilling this fall and certainly provides confidence that there is additional zinc potential on Torlon Hill beyond the previously drilled area. We are also pleased with the high lead numbers," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc.

A zinc soil geochemistry map, drill hole location map, table of significant drill intersections, drill hole specifications, news releases, a longitudinal section sketch, FAQ sheet and photos are available at www.firestoneventures.com.

Soil samples were dried at the BSI Inspectorate facility in Guatemala City, then shipped by courier directly to ALS Chemex, North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for analysis. All soil samples were subjected to a 4-acid digestion and then analyzed for 31 elements by ICP-AES.

Firestone Ventures Commences Drilling at Sonora Gold-Silver-Copper Project, Yukon Territory
      09:30 EDT Tuesday, July 17, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - July 17, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V), is pleased to announce that drilling has commenced at the Company's Sonora gold-silver-copper-molybdenum project, located 110 kilometres northwest of Carmacks, Yukon Territory. The 5,244 hectare (12,952 acre) Sonora property is located within 25 kilometres of a seasonal access road and within 40 kilometres of Sherwood Copper's Minto copper-gold project, currently in production.

Firestone President Lori Walton reports that one diamond drill hole has been completed to date. "We are starting in the Amadeus Zone, at the site of the high-grade gold discovery from the 2006 drill program. We expect to drill a total of 2,400 metres in ten holes. Once again, Kluane Drilling Ltd. of Whitehorse, Yukon will perform the drill program."

      Amadeus Zone

A total of seven drill holes will test for extensions of the high-grade gold discovery intercept of 6.21 g/t gold and 3.0 g/t silver across 15.3 metres (open at depth) discovered during the Autumn 2006 diamond drilling program (see news release dated Jan. 15, 2007). This new discovery includes a sub-interval of 12.19 g/t gold and 4.9 g/t silver across 5.0 metres. Other drill intersections from the Amadeus Zone include: 19.9 metres of 0.321 g/t gold and 50.1 g/t silver, and 4.5 metres of 3.60 g/t gold and 14.6 g/t silver. Microphotographs of gold-bearing drill core from the Amadeus Zone have been posted at www.firestoneventures.com. The Amadeus Zone was originally defined by a 700 metre by 250 metre gold-in-soil anomaly. The nearby Wolfgang Anomaly is defined by soil sample values ranging from 453 ppb to 2340 ppb gold with strongly anomalous bismuth and anomalous copper values.

      Jupiter Anomaly

Two drill holes will test the Jupiter Anomaly. Two previous drill holes, SG-06-09 and SG-06-10 targeting the Jupiter Anomaly were abandoned due to poor rock conditions. Hole SG-06-09 returned a 1.8 metre intercept grading 1.24 g/t gold in addition to sporadic anomalous gold and consistently anomalous molybdenum values ranging from 5 to 166 ppm.

      Gold Vein Zone

This drill hole will target an area of previous (1970's and 1980's), shallow drilling targeting gold-bearing quartz veins near the western limit of the mineralized intrusive body. Previous drilling in the area returned values up to 2.3 g/t gold across 1.0 metres. This proposed hole will test for mineralization at a much greater depth than historic drilling, and is considered an exploratory hole.

The Sonora property is located in the Dawson Range gold-copper-silver-molybdenum mining district in Yukon Territory, Canada. The property was previously explored in the 1970's and 1980's for porphyry copper-molybdenum mineralization and for gold and base metal veins. Placer gold mining has operated periodically on streams draining the Sonora property; angular gold nuggets, tetradymite (a bismuth tellurium mineral), galena and scheelite (a tungsten mineral) were recovered in placer concentrates. No major exploration has occurred since 1985.

This News Release has been reviewed and approved by Carl Schulze, BSc., PGeo., Qualified Person for the property, in accordance with regulations under National Instrument 43-101. Firestone Ventures is earning an 80% interest in the Sonora property. A fact sheet on the Sonora property, photos, a regional location map, and drill hole location map are available at www.firestoneventures.com.

Firestone Ventures Completes 2007 Drill Program, Sonora Gold Property, Yukon
      09:30 EDT Monday, September 10, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 10, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce the completion of the summer, 2007 diamond drilling program on the Company's Sonora gold-silver-copper property, located 110 km northwest of Carmacks, Yukon Territory, Canada. The program consisted of 2,024.9 metres of diamond drilling in 12 holes testing three major target areas. The Sonora property is located within 25 kilometres of a seasonal access road and within 40 kilometers of Sherwood Copper's Minto copper-gold mine project, now in production. Firestone Ventures is earning in for an 80% interest in the Sonora property.

The three areas tested are the Amadeus Zone, discovered by Firestone during the summer of 2006; the Jupiter anomaly, identified through geological mapping, soil sampling and geophysical surveying, also in 2006; and the "Ultramafic Horizon", identified from exploration prior to 1986 but not previously drill tested by Firestone.

The Amadeus Zone was tested with 7 holes totaling 1,730 metres; six of these targeted potential nearby continuity of the high grade intercept in DDH SG-06-06 which returned 6.21 g/t gold across 15.3 metres, open at depth (see news release dated Jan. 15, 2007). The seventh hole was collared 200 metres to the west, along the interpreted strike extent and within a geophysical anomaly identified by Firestone Ventures in late 2005. Four short holes, totaling 149.9 metres, targeted the Jupiter Anomaly along the trace of the district-scale "Big Creek Fault". One hole, terminated at 145.0 metres, was drilled at the Ultramafic Horizon.

The camp has been decommissioned, and all samples have now been submitted for analysis. Several samples from the Ultramafic Horizon will be analyzed for platinum and palladium. Results are pending.

The Sonora gold-silver-copper property is characterized by its multiple styles of gold mineralization, geological setting and intriguing gold-bismuth-tellurium geochemical signature. The Sonora property lies within the "Dawson Range Copper-Gold-Silver District" in west-central Yukon Territory. Placer gold mining has operated periodically on streams draining the Sonora property; angular gold nuggets have been recovered from placer concentrates. The start of production at the Minto Mine, the proposed new power line, including a spur line to the Minto Mine and the numerous drill programs carried out in the Dawson Range area in 2007 are all positive developments for the district.

This News Release has been reviewed and approved by Carl Schulze, BSc, PGeo, Qualified Person for the property, in accordance with regulations under National Instrument 43-101. All samples are being analyzed by ALS Chemex labs of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. A fact sheet on the Sonora property, property location map and previous news releases are available at www.firestoneventures.com.

Firestone Ventures Reports 4.0 m of 5.22 g/t Gold, Sonora Property, Yukon
      12:04 EDT Thursday, September 27, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 27, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce the first set of assay results, from drill holes SG-07-11 and SG-07-12 completed on the Amadeus Zone, within the Company's Sonora gold-silver-copper property, located 110 km northwest of Carmacks, Yukon Territory, Canada. Drill Hole SG-07-12 returned 4.0 metres of 5.22 g/t gold. Significantly, the interval is within a larger intersection measuring 64 metres of 1.0 g/t gold.

The 2007 program consisted of 2112.8 metres of diamond drilling in 12 holes testing three target areas. The Sonora property is located within 25 kilometres of a seasonal access road and within 40 kilometres of Sherwood Copper's Minto copper-gold mine, now in production.

"We are very encouraged by the intercept grading 5.22 g/t gold and the discovery of what appears to be a much larger, lower-grade gold-silver halo. This confirms the mineralized nature of the Amadeus Zone and further establishes Sonora as a substantial system extending across several kilometres of which only a very small area has been tested," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "High tonnage, low grade gold deposits such as Fort Knox in Alaska and Brewery Creek in the Yukon generally contain tens to hundreds of million tonnes grading 0.8 g/t gold to 1.4 g/t gold."

Drill hole location maps are available at www.firestoneventures.com. Analytical results are pending from the remaining ten drill holes.

Hole SG-07-11 (Amadeus Zone) - 204.5 metres depth was collared 130 metres east-northeast of drill hole SG-06-06 at an azimuth of 180 degrees and dip of -55 degrees, to test for eastern continuity of the 2006 discovery intercept of 6.21 g/t gold across 15.3 metres in SG-06-06 (see news release dated Jan. 15, 2007). Three intercepts were encountered, including one near-surface zone grading 0.59 g/t gold and 11.8 g/t silver across 16.0 metres from 11.1 to 27.1 metres of depth. This includes a 2.0 metre sub-intercept grading 1.64 g/t gold with 14.2 g/t silver from 13.0 to 15.0 metres. The hole also returned anomalous zinc (up to 6540 ppm) and lead (up to 1970 ppm). The hole was terminated at 204.5 metres before its target depth of 250 metres was reached, due to poor rock conditions.

Hole SG-07-12, (Amadeus Zone) - 272.8 metres depth was designed to test for up-dip continuity of the 2006 discovery intercept. The hole is located 50 metres south of SG-06-06 and was drilled at 180 degrees and at a dip of -60 degrees. Hole SG-07-12 returned a 64 metre intercept grading 1.00 g/t gold with 6.9 g/t silver from 72.0 to 136.0 metres. This includes several higher-grade sub-intervals, most notably one of 16.0 metres grading 2.10 g/t gold with 10.9 g/t silver from 120.0 to 136.0 metres. This in turn includes a 4.0 metre interval from 120.0 to 124.0 metres grading 5.22 g/t gold with 8.3 g/t silver, with individual sections returning up to 8.25 g/t gold over 2.0 metres. Drill hole SG-07-12 also returned anomalous bismuth (up to 897 ppm), antimony (up to 1290 ppm), lead (up to 2490 ppm lead), copper (up to 1620 ppm) and a silver value of 164 g/t across 2.5 metres at the bottom of the drill hole.

The start of production at the Minto Mine, just 40 km from Sonora; the proposed new power line, including a spur to the Minto mine, and the numerous drill programs carried out in the Dawson Range area in 2007, are all positive developments for the district.

All samples were analyzed by 50 gram fire assay and 34 element ICP Analysis by ALS Chemex Laboratories of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Firestone incorporated numerous standard samples having known gold content, as well as blanks, to test for accuracy of analytical results. Firestone also submitted numerous duplicate samples to test for uniformity of grade and for coarse gold effect.

Firestone Ventures Reports on Check Assay Program, Confirms 25.0 Metres of 26.77% Zinc at Torlon Hill
      14:37 EDT Thursday, October 04, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 4, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce that independent consultants Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited ("WGM") have completed extensive check assaying as part of Firestone's rigorous QA/QC program. The results have been integrated into Firestone's existing database of drill assay results for the Torlon Hill zinc-lead-silver project, located 18 road kilometers northwest of the city of Huehuetenango, Guatemala.

The check assaying component of Firestone's QA/QC program helps determine the effectiveness and accuracy of current laboratory and assaying techniques, and is of particular importance due to the high-grade nature of the non-sulphide zinc mineralization (smithsonite) at Torlon Hill.

Using a 3% zinc cut-off grade, WGM's new assay intervals confirm the high-grade nature of Firestone's original intersections announced in previous news releases. A complete table of re-calculated assay intervals is available at www.firestoneventures.com.

Highlights of the re-calculated intervals (using a 3% zinc cut-off)

      Check Sampling Program

A total of 4,936 metres of diamond drilling has been completed since January, 2005. A lengthy check sampling program was completed under the supervision of WGM. WGM has a large body of experience relevant to the Torlon Hill project, having worked on similar non-sulphide zinc deposits in Thailand, Yemen, Iran and Peru.

The check sampling included re-assaying 116 of Firestone's drill core rejects which were stored in a secure facility at the project site. Re-assaying was conducted by Global Discoveries Laboratory in Vancouver, B.C. WGM also carried out independent check sampling during site visits to Torlon Hill by re-cutting and re-assaying selected drill core intervals and re-assaying 42 drill-core pulps.

The check assay data has been compiled and independently reviewed by WGM. WGM found the check values to be within acceptable variances for most samples. Zinc values showed good correlation (85% of the check samples were within 10% of the original assays), and no bias was observed. Greater variance was seen in lead and silver values, with 4% and 16% of the respective populations occurring as outliers (see Comparison Table of Original and Check Assays for Zinc, Lead and Silver available at www.firestoneventures.com).

WGM concluded that the more erratic nature of the galena mineralization within the Torlon deposit, its brittle character, and the problems of ensuring that heavy minerals are adequately homogenized within the sample assayed contribute to the higher variances between original and check assay values for lead and silver and recommends additional work to further investigate the outliers identified.

      Metallurgy and 2007/2008 Exploration Program

Metallurgical testing of a representative 200 kg sample of Torlon mineralization is underway at SGS Lakefield Research and final results are expected later this year. Firestone is working on the 2007/2008 field program and budget for the Torlon Hill project and will finalize in the coming weeks.

Sample preparation and analytical procedures have been described in news releases dated March 2, 2006 and January 11, 2007. All drill core sampling has been carried out under the constant supervision of Firestone's geologist John Cleary (CPG) and Qualified Person for the Torlon Hill project, with technical guidance from WGM. All laboratory analysis is by the ALS Chemex facility in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In addition to its own independent sampling carried out during 2006 and again during 2007, WGM also provided guidance concerning Firestone's internal check assaying program.

This news release has been reviewed and approved by John Cleary, (CPG) Qualified Person and by Al Workman, P.Geo., Vice President of Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited and the Independent Qualified Person for the Torlon Project.

Firestone Ventures Intersects 817.0 g/t Silver Across 2.0 metres at Sonora Project, Yukon
      16:36 EDT Wednesday, October 10, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 10, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) has received and compiled assay results from Holes SG-07-13 through SG-07-17, all targeting the Amadeus Zone on the Company's Sonora gold-silver-copper property, located 110 km northwest of Carmacks, Yukon Territory, Canada. The 2007 program consisted of 2,024.9 metres of diamond drilling in 12 holes testing three major target areas. Results are still pending for five drill holes, including four short holes drilled into the Jupiter Zone on the west side of the Sonora Property.

Holes SG-07-13 through SG-07-16 inclusive, drilled near Discovery Hole SG-06-06 (15.3 metres of 6.21 g/t gold, see Jan. 15, 2007 news release), all returned intervals of low-grade gold and/or silver mineralization. The majority of samples taken throughout these holes returned anomalous gold and silver values, with many also returning anomalous bismuth and strongly anomalous antimony values.

In addition, short intervals of moderate to high grade lead-zinc-silver mineralization, commonly with anomalous gold values, were returned from most of these holes, the best being a 2.0 metre intercept of 817 g/t (26.26 opt) silver, 1.12 g/t gold, 0.27% antimony, 0.37% copper, 1.58% lead and 0.30% zinc from Hole SG-07-16.

Hole SG-07-17, collared 200 metres west of the Discovery Hole, returned a 2.0 metre sample of 91.7 g/t (2.95 opt) silver with 0.464 g/t gold and 0.93% lead. This hole also returned anomalous copper values and strongly anomalous molybdenum values across much of its extent, the latter occurring as quartz-molybdenum veining.

Firestone Ventures Reports On Initial Metallurgical Testing for Torlon Hill Zinc-Lead Project

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

October 16/2007 - Firestone Ventures Inc. (FV: TSX-V;F5V:FSE) is pleased to announce that preliminary results from metallurgical testing confirm that Torlon mineralogy is relatively simple, consisting predominantly of smithsonite. Preliminary results also confirms that zinc-lead mineralization at Torlon Hill is largely free of deleterious minerals that can have a negative impact on processing of non-sulphide zinc ores. The Torlon Hill project is located 18 road kilometers northwest of the city of Huehuetenango, situated on the Pan-American Highway in western Guatemala.

"The testwork is in the very early stages but we are encouraged by these initial findings", says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "The metallurgical testing at SGS Lakefield is on-going and we expect final results, including additional work on the mineralogy, in the coming months."

      Metallurgical Testing
Firestone has implemented a preliminary metallurgical testing program on a representative 200 kg sample of Torlon mineralization. The work is being carried out at the SGS-Lakefield facility located in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada. Parallel with this testing, petrographic work has been commissioned. Consulting firm Watts, Griffis, McOuat Limited ("WGM") is overseeing the metallurgical test work.

Preliminary mineralogical analysis indicates that smithsonite (ZnCO3) is the prevalent ore mineral, occurring as a replacement of limestone, and resulting in high grade mineralization locally exceeding 40% zinc. Other non-sulphide zinc minerals are relatively rare, but minor amounts of a hydrous zinc-carbonate (hydrozincite) and hydrated zinc-silicate (hemimorphite) are seen locally in the weathering zone. Accessory minerals include siderite and traces of goethite.

Traces of sphalerite (zinc sulphide) have been found in a sulphide (mostly galena-pyrite) zone at the base of the deposit. Throughout the deposit, silver-rich galena veinlets cross-cut the pervasive zinc-replacement mineralization.

      Geological Setting and Deposit Potential
Torlon Hill is an intensely oxidized zinc-lead (plus silver) deposit hosted in Permian dolostone breccia and limestone. The carbonate unit has been tectonically thrust over a serpentinized basement sequence at the boundary between the North American Tectonic Plate and the Caribbean Plate. The "tectonic crush zone" is pervasively mineralized with thick zones returning in excess of 10% and locally up to 40% zinc.

High-grade zinc-lead-silver mineralization at Torlon Hill is contained within a shallowly southeast-dipping body that measures approximately 400 metres in length, 20 to 100 metres in width and up to 30 metres in thickness. The main body is composed of stacked or sheeted slices of brecciated, mineralized limestone, which lie above a well-defined serpentinite basement.

The mineralized body at Torlon Hill is still open to expansion, mainly to the west and to the south, where soil sampling by Firestone (see July 10, 2007 news release) outlined a contiguous zinc-lead soil anomaly extending a further 400 metres south of the drilled area.

The tectonic setting of Torlon Hill, near the suture between the North American tectonic plate and the Caribbean tectonic plate, is likely the causative factor for mineralization. WGM and John Cleary, Qualified Person for the Torlon Hill Project, also report that the area surrounding Torlon Hill has very high potential for hosting additional structurally controlled non-sulphide zinc deposits in addition to conventional Mississippi Valley-Type mineralization.

This news release has been reviewed and approved by John Cleary, (CPG) Qualified Person and by Al Workman, P.Geo., Vice President of Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited and the Independent Qualified Person for the Torlon Project.

Firestone Ventures Commences Exploration at Torlon Hill Zinc-Lead Project
      16:54 EDT Tuesday, October 30, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 30, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce that the 2007/2008 winter exploration program is now underway at the Company's Torlon Hill zinc-lead-silver project in Guatemala. The road-accessible Torlon Hill project is located 18 road kilometers northwest of the city of Huehuetenango, which is situated on the Pan-American Highway in western Guatemala.

"We are very enthused with this project, with its excellent zinc and lead metal grades, access to infrastructure and availability of supplies and services. The on-going metallurgical testwork combined with this year's exploration program should greatly facilitate Firestone's ability to advance the project," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc.

The 2007/2008 exploration campaign has three priority objectives: detailed surveying and soil sampling across the southern and western portions of Torlon Hill; continued expansion and in-fill drilling of the zinc-lead-silver mineralized zone and drill testing of the zinc-lead soil anomaly outlined by last season's geochemistry program.

The 2007/2008 program will consist of 20 to 30 drill holes comprising a total of 1400 metres. A field crew has mobilized to the property and is now conducting ground topographic surveys, soil sampling and preparing drill sites. Drilling will begin in early January through to mid-March, 2008. Geological mapping, sampling, prospecting and environmental baseline studies will continue in conjunction with regional exploration. A total of CDN $1.5 million has been allocated to the program.

Mineralization at the intensely oxidized Torlon Hill deposit consists largely of smithsonite (a zinc carbonate mineral) cross-cut by galena (lead sulphide) veinlets and is contained within a shallowly southeast-dipping body measuring approximately 400 metres long, 20 to 100 metres wide and up to 30 metres thick. Previous high-grade drill intersections include 25 metres of 26.77% zinc, 1.42% lead, 5.98% silver and 53.3 metres of 9.66% zinc, 1.86% lead and 12.21 g/t silver (see news release dated Oct. 4, 2007). Most mineralization defined by drilling to date occurs on or near surface. The deposit is still open to expansion, mainly to the west and south.

New Gold Target Identified by Firestone Ventures from Final Drill Results on Sonora Project, Yukon
      18:12 EST Friday, November 16, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 16, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) has received and compiled all results from the 2007 diamond drilling program on the Company's Sonora gold-silver-copper property, located 110 km northwest of Carmacks, Yukon Territory, Canada. This program consisted of 2,024.9 metres of diamond drilling in 12 holes testing three major target areas. The Sonora property is located within 25 kilometres of a seasonal access road and within 40 kilometers of Sherwood Copper's Minto copper-gold mine project, now in production.

"We have expanded on the Amadeus Zone gold discovery from 2006 and identified a key new gold target on the property," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "The big surprise at Sonora this year was the discovery of a large low-grade gold envelope around the higher-grade zone. With the data from the 2006/2007 drill programs, we feel confident that enough data has been provided to develop a zoning model. The model will be key to finding the gold-rich areas in this large mineralizing system."

Of the remaining five holes drilled in 2007, four targeted the "Jupiter" gold-copper soil anomaly and one targeted the "Ultramafic Horizon" to the northwest. Results for all drill holes from the 2007 program are given in Table 1 at the end of this news release and in previous news releases. Drill hole location maps are at www.firestoneventures.com.

      Jupiter Anomaly

Two short holes, DDH SG-07-18 and 19 were both halted at depths of 53.3 metres and 46.4 metres respectively due to poor rock conditions. Two further holes, DDH SG-07-20 and 21, collared roughly 100 metres to the east were also stopped due to poor rock conditions at 24.3 metres and 25.9 metres respectively. No significant gold and silver grades were returned, although anomalous molybdenum values were returned throughout and the holes were all terminated far short of their target depths. The Jupiter Anomaly remains untested.

      Ultramafic Horizon Target

Hole SG-07-22, targeting the "Ultramafic Horizon", intersected the target and was terminated in altered volcanic "footwall" country rock at a depth of 145.0 metres. Anomalous gold and silver values were returned from surface to the upper contact of the horizon, including a value of 0.66 grams/tonne gold with 6.5 grams/tonne silver across 2.0 metres, and another of 0.939 grams/tonne gold with 2.7 grams/tonne silver across 1.5 metres.

Firestone geologists believe that drill testing the ultramafic horizon has defined a significant new gold exploration target on the Sonora property, due to the length of the horizon and its strong magnetic signature. Samples of ultramafic material analyzed for platinum and palladium returned low to background values.

Firestone also submitted numerous duplicate samples to test for uniformity of grade and for "coarse gold effect".

This News Release has been reviewed and approved by Carl Schulze, BSc, PGeo, Qualified Person for the property, in accordance with regulations under National Instrument 43-101. A fact sheet on the Sonora property, property location map and previous news releases are available at www.firestoneventures.com. Firestone Ventures is earning in for an 80% interest in the Sonora property. Results from regional exploration carried out in 2007 outside the drilled area are pending.

Firestone Ventures Reports New Target Areas on Sonora Gold Project, Yukon Territory
      11:00 EST Tuesday, November 20, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 20, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce that three new target areas have been identified through surface exploration, in combination with diamond drilling results, during the 2007 season on Firestone's Sonora gold-silver-copper project. The Sonora project is located 110 km northwest of Carmacks, Yukon Territory, Canada, within 25 kilometres of a seasonal access road and within 40 kilometers of Sherwood Copper's Minto copper-gold mine project, now in production.

      Concerto Creek Anomaly

Results from reconnaissance soil sampling ranged up to 0.163 grams/tonne gold and 4.3 grams/tonne silver near the headwaters of "Concerto Creek", 1.5 kilometers east of the Amadeus Gold Zone. A silt sample from a tributary roughly 0.5 kilometres downstream returned 0.250 grams/tonne gold. Results show a similar geochemical signature to the Amadeus Zone.

      Bear Hill Showing

Samples of silicified rock 9 km west of the Amadeus Gold Zone returned anomalous gold values to 0.337 grams/tonne. A 2007 silt sample collected nearby returned strongly anomalous gold, chromium and nickel values. A silt sample taken roughly 0.5 km northwest of the Bear Hill showing returned 0.133 grams/tonne gold.

      Ultramafic Anomaly

A third anomaly was identified partially through results of Drill Hole SG-07-22, targeting the "Ultramafic Horizon" northwest of the Amadeus Gold Zone (see News Release dated Nov 16, 2007). Drill results revealed strongly anomalous gold values to 0.939 grams/tonne across 1.5 metres, directly along the southern contact of this 5.5 kilometre long horizon. Silt sampling from the area returned 0.545 grams/tonne gold with elevated nickel and chrome values, the latter suggesting proximity to an ultramafic source. Two anomalous gold values from silt sampling near the Bear Hill showing, roughly 2.5 km further west, and along strike of, the ultramafic horizon, were associated with strongly anomalous chromium and nickel values.

Firestone Ventures Acquires 100% Interest in the Sonora Gold Project, Yukon
      12:34 EST Wednesday, December 05, 2007

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 5, 2007) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce completion of its option to earn an 80% interest in the Sonora gold-silver-copper-molybdenum project located 110 kilometres from Carmacks, Yukon Territory, Canada. In addition, Firestone has signed an agreement with the underlying vendors to acquire the remaining 20% interest in the property, plus 1% of the underlying Net Smelter Returns Royalty (NSR) by issuing an additional 250,000 common shares at a deemed price of $0.47 per common share. A 1% NSR remains reserved for the Vendors, half of which may be purchased by Firestone at any time for $1,000,000. The agreement is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

"We are very pleased to have acquired 100% interest in the Sonora Gold Project", says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "The multiple styles of gold and silver mineralization, intriguing gold-bismuth-tellurium geochemical signature, and the new Amadeus Zone high-grade gold discovery give us confidence to move forward on the project. Also noteworthy is the project's proximity to existing and planned infrastructure in the Dawson Range mining district."

To date, Firestone has completed two diamond drilling programs totalling 3,846.0m metres. The Amadeus Zone, discovered in 2006, has been the main focus. Drilling of the Amadeus Zone in 2006 returned numerous gold and/or silver intercepts including 6.21 g/t gold across 15.3 metres, open at depth, in drill hole SG-06-06. In 2007 an intercept of 5.22 g/t gold across 4.0 metres within a larger lower grade halo of 1.0 g/t gold over 64 metres was returned from Hole SG-07-12, collared 50 metres due south of Hole SG-06-06. A deeper interval in the same hole returned 0.25 g/t gold and 162 g/t silver over 2.0 metres. Drill Hole SG-07-16, also in the Amadeus Zone, returned 1.12 g/t gold, 817 g/t silver (26.26 ounces per tonne), 0.27% antimony, 0.37% copper, 1.58% lead and 0.30% zinc across 2.0 metres. Numerous other gold and/or silver intercepts were returned elsewhere from the Amadeus Zone in 2007.

The Sonora property is located within 25 kilometres of a seasonal access road and within 40 kilometres of Sherwood Copper's Minto copper-gold mine, now in production. Firestone Ventures now retains a 100% interest in 5,244 hectares (12,952 acres) of land in the Dawson Range area, covering the Sonora claim block and the nearby Chopin block, staked early in 2007.

February 26, 2008 -- Firestone Ventures Inc. (FV:TSX-V, F5V:FSE) is pleased to announce the completion of the first 14 core drill holes (totalling 1,240 metres) of the 3,700 metre winter 2007/2008 drill campaign at the Company's Torlon Hill zinc-lead-silver project in Guatemala.

"Drilling is on-schedule and proceeding rapidly. We are regularly shipping drill core samples for preparation and analysis," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures. "We are drilling the northern part of the deposit with mainly in-fill holes and step-out holes. In April the drill will move further south along the trend of the mineralization to drill test areas having strong zinc-lead geochemical soil anomalies."

Mineralization at the intensely oxidized Torlon Hill deposit consists largely of smithsonite (a zinc carbonate mineral) replacing limestone, cross-cut by galena (lead sulphide) veinlets and contained within a shallowly southeast-dipping body measuring approximately 400 metres long, 20 to 100 metres wide and up to 30 metres thick. Previous high-grade drill intersections include 25 metres of 26.77% zinc, 1.42% lead, 5.98% silver and 53.3 metres of 9.66% zinc, 1.86% lead and 12.21 g/t silver (see news release dated Oct. 4, 2007).

A total of 6,176 metres has been drilled to date at Torlon Hill. Most zinc-lead mineralization defined by drilling occurs on or near surface. The deposit is still open to expansion, mainly to the west and south.

A total of $1.8 million has been allocated to the winter 2007/2008 exploration program which includes diamond drilling, detailed geological mapping, geochemical soil sampling, prospecting and ongoing environmental baseline studies. A drill hole location map is available at www.firestoneventures.com, along with previous drill results, news releases, a longitudinal section sketch, FAQ sheet and photos. The road-accessible Torlon Hill project is located 18 kilometres northwest of the city of Huehuetenango, which is situated on the Pan-American Highway in western Guatemala.

Feb 28, 2008- Firestone Ventures Inc. (FV:TSX-V, F5V:FSE) is pleased to announce that sophisticated geophysical modeling of the initial dataset from the Company's airborne geophysical survey was successful in identifying buried stream channels on four priority areas at the Alberta Sun uranium project, southwestern Alberta.

'We are very pleased to show results from a non-invasive exploration tool that identifies the location of buried stream channels. These channels may be suitable hosts for sandstone-hosted (roll-front) uranium deposits," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "We are especially excited to note conductive trends on two of the properties and signs of an oxidation-reduction front, critical for roll-front style uranium deposit formation."

The objective of the airborne geophysical survey was to identify pre-glacial paleovalleys (buried stream channels) on four priority areas covering favorable stratigraphic, hydrological and structural settings. A 2,384 line kilometer electromagnetic and magnetic survey was completed last spring by Fugro Airborne Surveys (see News Release dated April 18, 2007). TerraNotes Ltd. of Edmonton, Alberta then carried out "Radarsat Imaging Analysis" and interpretation of preliminary data, followed by sophisticated modeling of the airborne survey dataset (maps are available at www.firestoneventures.com).

The Alberta Sun uranium property (covering over 115,000 acres) is underlain by Cretaceous to Tertiary marine and non-marine sandstones and tuffs. The geological target is sandstone-hosted "roll-front" uranium similar to deposits in Wyoming and northern Texas. Results of initial fieldwork at the Company's project include scintillometer readings of up to 1,250 cps (counts per second), visible alteration, shale beds and abundant hematite and carbonaceous material within the sandstone unit. Composite grab samples of isolated organic debris material returned up to 7,640 ppm uranium (0.901% U3O8). Grab samples of sandstone from a separate area 40 km southeast returned 57 to 150 ppm uranium. Elevated vanadium, molybdenum, arsenic, and lead values, important indicators of sandstone-hosted uranium, occur at both areas (see previous News Releases available at www.firestoneventures.com).

This news release has been reviewed by Carl Schulze, B.Sc., PGeo., Qualified Person for the project in accordance with regulations under National Instrument 43-101. Black Hawk Exploration is the operator of the Alberta Sun project, under the terms of formal option agreement whereby Black Hawk may earn up to a 75% interest in Firestone's Alberta Sun project (see News Release dated July 15, 2007).

Firestone Ventures Inc. Plans Spin-out of Canadian Properties and Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Sherwood Copper Corp.
      10:03 EST Monday, March 03, 2008

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 3, 2008) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to announce it plans to spin-out its Canadian assets, including the Sonora Gulch gold project, into a new public company called Northern Tiger Resources Inc. This will allow Firestone to focus its resources and efforts on advancing the Torlon Hill project and its other interests in the emerging Cuchumatanes zinc-lead-silver district in Guatemala, while giving shareholders exposure to a new company focused primarily on exploration in the active Dawson Range in the central Yukon. Details regarding the nature and timing of this transaction are currently being finalized by Firestone's management, and will be subject to Northern Tiger completing a successful private placement and obtaining required TSX-V, court, shareholder and regulatory approvals.

In addition, Firestone signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sherwood Copper Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SWC) and their wholly owned subsidiary Minto Explorations Ltd. (collectively Sherwood) to cooperate in exploring Yukon's Dawson Range area.

Under the terms of the MOU, Sherwood will vend to Northern Tiger a 100% interest in four Dawson Range exploration properties and an extensive historical exploration database for the region. In addition, Northern Tiger and Sherwood will enter into a Regional Exploration Alliance Agreement (REAA). The REAA will provide for input and cooperation on planning and executing exploration programs and long-term strategies for the area, sharing of proprietary technical expertise to assist in exploration and project advancement, and access to Sherwood's infrastructure to facilitate area exploration.

Sherwood will retain back-in rights to acquire a 65% interest in any of Northern Tiger's projects located within a 50 km radius that are found to have mineralization amenable to processing in Sherwood's existing Minto Mine facilities. The back-in rights are triggered within 30 days of Northern Tiger presenting Sherwood with an independent preliminary economic assessment prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 on a particular property. Sherwood will pay to Northern Tiger two times the expenditures spent on the applicable property to the date of acquisition and become sole operator. The back-in rights may also be triggered within 30 days of Northern Tiger presenting Sherwood with a National Instrument 43-101 compliant positive pre-feasibility study. Sherwood will pay to Northern Tiger three times the expenditures spent on the applicable property to the date of acquisition and will become sole operator.

As consideration for the exploration properties, historical database and support through the REAA, Northern Tiger shall issue to Sherwood that number of shares equivalent to twenty-five (25%) of the issued and outstanding shares of Northern Tiger as of the date immediately prior to a private placement planned to provide operating and exploration funding for the new company.

Closure of the transaction is subject to a number of conditions, including execution and Board of Director approval of formal agreements and obtaining required regulatory and shareholder approvals.

"The Spin-out will allow Firestone to concentrate on our advanced Torlon Hill zinc-lead-silver project in Guatemala while reducing future stock dilution," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "We are confident that Firestone shareholders will benefit from the experience, knowledge and capabilities of the Northern Tiger-Sherwood Copper exploration alliance in advancing the Sonora Gulch project and identifying other quality projects in the Dawson Range mining district."

"By this transaction, Sherwood Copper would gain exposure to exploration targets outside of its Minto Mine property, having both (1) a back in right to any deposits discovered close to its existing mine infrastructure that could be processed at the existing infrastructure and (2) equity exposure to any other discoveries made through this alliance," said Stephen Quin, President & CEO of Sherwood Copper. "I believe this is a win-win transaction for our respective shareholders that accelerates the exploration activity in the area of the Minto Mine and in the Yukon, beyond what Sherwood would do on its own."

Firestone Ventures Intersects 15.3 metres of 10.1% Zinc including 2.7 metres of 25.9% Zinc
      FV: TSX-V March 19, 2008
March 19/2008 - Firestone Ventures Inc. (FV:TSX-V;F5V:FSE) is pleased to announce results from the first seven of 21 drill holes completed to date at the Company’s Torlon Hill high-grade zinc-lead project, situated in western Guatemala. A total of 1,536 metres of the planned 3,700 metre winter 2008 drill campaign has been completed. The drill program, now on a two-week break for Easter, will be on-going until June, 2008. A total of 4,935 metres was drilled previously in 2006 and 2007.

Highlights from the new drill results include:

Hole TH08-65 15.3 metres of 10.1% zinc and 2.6% lead, including 2.7 metres of 25.6% zinc and 5.0% lead
Hole TH08-70 56.4 metres of 4.3% zinc and 1.8% lead, including 11.0 metres of 11.2% zinc and 1.8% lead
Hole TH08-71 11.8 metres of 8.3% zinc and 2.1% lead, including 6.4 metres of 12.7% zinc and 1.5% lead
“These seven vertical holes were drilled at close spacing along the northwestern limit of previous drilling. We drilled into unmineralized dolomite breccia and we are obviously very pleased to intersect high-grade zinc and lead that has no surface expression,” says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. “Besides the high-grade zinc results, we also note significant amounts of lead. The current price for lead has increased during the past few years to over US $1.30/lb.”

Drill Hole TH08-65 is an in-fill hole collared within 25 metres of previous drill hole TH06-34 (1.7 metres of 5.18% zinc). Individual assays from drill hole TH08-65 ranged up to 42.8% zinc, 8.2% lead and 49 g/t silver over 1.2 metres. Drill holes TH08-69, 70 and 71 were step-out holes 25 metres west of previously drilled holes TH06-06, 29 and 31. Results from drill holes TH08-66, 67 and 68, drilled to the northwest returned generally low values and encountered mainly serpentinite. A map showing the drill hole locations is available at www.firestoneventures.com, along with drill hole specifications.

Mineralization at the intensely oxidized Torlon Hill deposit consists largely of smithsonite (a zinc carbonate mineral) cross-cut by galena (lead sulphide) veinlets. The deposit is contained within a shallowly southeast-dipping body measuring approximately 400 metres long, 20 to 100 metres wide and up to 30 metres thick.

      Laboratory Analyses and Quality Control
Drill core is stored in a secure facility at the Company’s offices near the property. After logging and cutting, the samples are placed in secure, sealed fabrene bags and transported by Firestone Ventures staff to the BSI Inspectorate facility in Guatemala City for preparation. Firestone geologists are inserting blanks for quality control purposes. Following preparation, 200 to 250 grams of pulverized sample is shipped by courier directly to ALS Chemex, North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for analysis. Samples are subjected to a 4-acid digestion and are analyzed for 27 elements by ICP-AES. Overlimit zinc and lead analyses are further analyzed by atomic absorption methods, with an upper analytical limit of 30%. Samples which contain in excess of 30% zinc and lead are re-analyzed using titration. This multi-stage analytical procedure ensures that an appropriate analytical method is used to produce reliable data at all concentration levels. It also offers repeat analyses to protect against gross analytical error.

      - Hole TH08-76 3.05 m of 11.67% zinc, 1.96% lead and 16.12 g/t silver

      - Hole TH08-78 12.01 m of 6.58% zinc, 3.46% lead and 20.48 g/t silver

      - Hole TH08-80 19.81 m of 10.01% zinc, 4.66% lead and 13.83 g/t silver

"We are very encouraged by these latest drill results," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "In particular, we are pleased by the intervals of buried zinc-lead mineralization that have no surface expression."

A map showing the drill hole locations is available at www.firestoneventures.com, along with drill hole specifications. A table showing significant drill intersections is provided at the end of this news release.

Holes TH08-72 through TH08-77 were drilled northwest of previous drilling, where there is no surface expression of zinc mineralization. Holes TH08-78 to 80 were infill and expansion holes drilled along the eastern boundary of the main "Bulge" area of surface zinc mineralization. Drill Hole TH08-79 intersected unmineralized serpentinite. Results are pending from drill holes TH08-81 to 85, also along the eastern boundary of the "Bulge".

The drill has now moved to test the area around drill hole TH07-53, which intersected 42.5 metres grading 9.7% zinc, 4.7% lead and 20 g/t silver at 55.5 m depth. The drill will then move south to test zinc-lead soil anomalies south of the previously drilled area.

Firestone Ventures Project Update
      12:54 EDT Wednesday, May 28, 2008
EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 28, 2008) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to provide an update on current projects.

      Torlon Hill Zinc-Lead Project, Guatemala

"We are very pleased that once again we have completed this season's drill program on schedule and on-budget," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. ("Firestone"). "Firestone would like to thank everyone who worked on the project, especially our drill contractor Kluane Drilling Ltd. for carrying out the program and our local workers for their extraordinary efforts in building drill sites, moving the drill, and hauling equipment and supplies needed for the program. In addition, our geological and management staff in Guatemala were key to our successful completion of the program."

This season's drill program at the Torlon Hill high grade zinc-lead project in Guatemala is now complete. A total of 36 holes were drilled to depths ranging from 19.81 metres to 185.97 metres, totalling 3,458.7 metres. To date, a total of 101 holes and 8,394.7 metres have been completed since the first drill program on Torlon Hill in early 2006. Assay results remain pending for drill holes 86 to 101; the later samples will be split and logged at the Company's on-site facility and then shipped for analysis in June.

Firestone Ventures is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Darren Koningen, P.Eng. to oversee metallurgical and engineering aspects of the Torlon Hill zinc-lead project. Mr. Koningen has over 15 years of global experience in the mining and metals industry and is well versed in mineral process development, feasibility studies, engineering design, project and field engineering, commissioning and plant operations. He has completed numerous metallurgical processing engagements while employed as a Senior Process Engineer with Kvaerner Engineering and Construction and as an independent Metallurgical Consultant. As Manager of Research and Engineering with Metalox International he led new process development efforts directed at the extraction of zinc and other metal concentrates from metallurgical waste streams. Most recently Mr. Koningen was responsible for all engineering activities in the design and construction of two heap leach gold projects in Central America and Mexico.

Alberta Sun Uranium Project, Alberta, Canada

Firestone Ventures Inc. has formally notified Black Hawk Exploration that the option agreement to earn up to a 75% interest in Firestone's Alberta Sun uranium project is terminated. Under the terms of the agreement, Black Hawk paid Firestone a total of $210,000 in cash and issued Firestone 135,000 common shares on signing the agreement, but Black Hawk failed to complete the exploration work required to keep the option in good standing.

Firestone Ventures completed sophisticated geophysical modeling of the initial dataset from a 2,384 line-kilometer electromagnetic and magnetic survey which identified buried stream channels in four priority areas. The geological target is sandstone-hosted "roll-front" uranium. Indicators of sandstone-hosted uranium that have been identified in the Alberta Sun project area include: favorable stratigraphy, visible alteration, shale beds and abundant hematite and carbonaceous material within the sandstone unit. Composite grab samples of isolated organic debris material returned up to 7,640 ppm uranium (0.901% U3O8). Grab rock samples (sandstone) from a separate area 40 km southeast returned 57 to 150 ppm uranium. Elevated vanadium, molybdenum, arsenic and lead values, important indicators of sandstone-hosted uranium, occur at both areas (see previous News Releases available at www.firestoneventures.com).

      Sonora Gold-Silver Project, Yukon Territory

The 2008 exploration program consisting of surface exploration and diamond drilling on the Sonora project and regional exploration in the Dawson Range area is being finalized; details will be released shortly.

It is anticipated that the Sonora gold-silver project and the Alberta Sun uranium project will be spun-out from Firestone Ventures into a new company called Northern Tiger Resources Inc. (see News Releases March 3, 2008 and May 27, 2008). In addition, Northern Tiger has signed an Acquisition Agreement with Sherwood Copper Corporation's wholly owned subsidiary, Minto Explorations Ltd. ("MintoEx"), owner and operator of the high-grade Minto copper-gold mine 40 kilometres east of the Sonora project. MintoEx will receive a 25% interest in Northern Tiger (before a proposed private placement) in exchange for contributing five sets of mineral claims in the Minto region as well as MintoEx's extensive Yukon exploration database. MintoEx will also participate with Northern Tiger in a regional exploration alliance to explore the Dawson Range area of Yukon Territory, Canada for additional mineral prospects. MintoEx also retains certain back-in rights on Northern Tiger's projects.

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 27, 2008) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) is pleased to provide an update on the status of the proposed spin-out of its Canadian assets into a new public company called Northern Tiger Resources Inc. ("Northern Tiger").

Under a proposed Plan of Arrangement, Firestone Ventures Inc. ("Firestone") will spin-out its Canadian assets, including the Sonora Gulch gold-silver project in the Yukon, into Northern Tiger (see News Release dated March 3, 2008). In addition, Northern Tiger has signed an Acquisition Agreement with Sherwood Copper Corporation's wholly owned subsidiary, Minto Explorations Ltd. ("MintoEx"), owner and operator of the high grade Minto copper-gold mine 40 kilometres east of Sonora Gulch. MintoEx will receive a 25% interest in Northern Tiger (prior to the proposed private placement) in exchange for contributing five sets of mineral claims in the Minto region as well as MintoEx's extensive Yukon exploration database. MintoEx will also participate with Northern Tiger in a regional exploration alliance to explore the Dawson Range area of Yukon Territory, Canada for additional mineral discoveries. MintoEx also retains certain back-in rights on Northern Tiger's projects.

Under the Plan of Arrangement, Firestone shareholders will receive one common share of Northern Tiger for each five common shares of Firestone they own. Firestone shareholders of record on May 20, 2008 will be mailed an Information Circular with the details of the Plan of Arrangement. A Special Meeting of Shareholders is scheduled for June 23, 2008 to consider, and if deemed appropriate, approve the Plan of Arrangement. Firestone shareholders who own or purchase shares before a planned June 16, 2008 trading halt will participate in the Plan of Arrangement. The transaction is subject to Northern Tiger obtaining required TSX-V, court, shareholder and regulatory approvals.

A Technical Report "National Instrument 43-101 Report on the 2006 and 2007 Exploration Programs, Sonora Property, Dawson Range, Yukon" by C. Schulze, P.Geo. and dated April 28, 2008 is available for viewing on the SEDAR website at www.sedar.com.

      Private Placement

Northern Tiger intends to raise a minimum of $1 million for exploration and operating activities through a non-brokered private placement of a combination of units ($0.30 per unit) and flow-through shares ($0.33 per common share) to institutions and other investors, subject to regulatory approval. Each unit consists of one (1) common share and one half (1/2) warrant. Each full warrant is exercisable at $0.45 and expires in 24 months.

For additional information, shareholders are referred to the FAQ at the bottom of this news release and on Firestone's website at www.firestoneventures.com.

      FAQ

Why is the spin-out beneficial to Firestone shareholders?

Firestone believes that the spin-out will reduce future dilution in Firestone and enable the company to better focus its efforts on the rapidly advancing high grade zinc-lead Torlon Hill project in Guatemala. Firestone shareholders will also be able to participate in the success of Northern Tiger as it explores the Yukon's active Dawson Range area through its new regional exploration alliance with MintoEx.

How do I find out details about the spin-out transaction?

Firestone shareholders of record on May 20, 2008 will be mailed an Information Circular outlining the details of the Plan of Arrangement. A Special Meeting of Shareholders will take place in Edmonton on June 23, 2008 for shareholders to consider, and if deemed appropriate, approve the Plan of Arrangement.

I am a shareholder of Firestone Ventures Inc. What will happen to my shares?

You will retain all of your Firestone shares. In addition, Firestone shareholders who own or purchase shares before the planned June 16, 2008 trading halt will participate in the Plan of Arrangement and receive one Northern Tiger share for every five Firestone shares held. If you become a Firestone shareholder after the planned June 16, 2008 trading halt, you will not be entitled to receive any Northern Tiger common shares.

What will happen to Firestone Ventures Inc.?

Firestone Ventures will retain its Torlon Hill high-grade zinc-lead project in Guatemala, Central America and $1.5 million in working capital. The share structure will remain the same, with 65 million shares outstanding (71 million fully diluted).

Firestone Ventures Intersects 6.63 Metres of 29.41% Zinc, 5.50% Lead at Torlon Hill
      05:00 EDT Monday, June 02, 2008

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - June 2, 2008) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) would like to announce results from the next five drill holes at the Company's Torlon Hill high grade zinc-lead project, situated in western Guatemala. A total of 36 holes were drilled to depths ranging from 19.81 metres to 185.97 metres, totalling 3,458.7 metres. Assay results are pending from drill holes TH08-86 to TH08-101. The drill program is now complete.

Significant intersections from drill holes TH08-81 to TH08-85 are listed below:

      Total
      Depth
Hole of Hole From To Width Zn Pb Ag
Number (metres) (metres) (metres) (metres) (%) (%) (g/t)
      TH08-81 28.35 0.00 3.20 3.20 20.42 6.02 23.38
      also 11.28 17.91 6.63 29.41 5.50 20.92
      TH08-82 20.73 0.00 3.04 3.04 17.65 2.60 10.00

      also 15.24 18.29 3.05 3.77 5.32 21.00
      TH08-85 33.52 0.00 13.00 13.00 4.10 2.25 7.50
      also 24.39 30.25 5.86 4.81 2.14 23.00

Holes TH08-81 to TH08-85 were infill and expansion holes drilled along the eastern and southern boundary of the main "Bulge" area of surface zinc mineralization. Hole TH08-86 was lost when the drill string twisted off at 82 meters and the hole did not reach the target depth of 120 meters; the hole was re-drilled as TH08-86A. Results are pending from drill holes TH08-86A to 90, drilled in the area around last year's drill hole TH07-53, which intersected 42.5 metres grading 9.7% zinc, 4.7% lead and 20 g/t silver at 55.5 metre depth. The remaining drill holes, TH08-91 to TH08-101 were drilled at a wide spacing to test zinc-lead soil anomalies south of the previously drilled area.

This news release has been reviewed and approved by J. Cleary, CPG, Qualified Person and by Al Workman, P.Geo., Vice President of Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited. The road-accessible Torlon Hill project is located 18 kilometres northwest of the city of Huehuetenango, which is situated on the Pan-American Highway in western Guatemala. Sample preparation, quality control and analytical techniques have been described previously (see March 19, 2008 news release). All samples were analyzed by ALS Chemex in Vancouver, B.C.

Firestone Ventures Completes Positive First Round of Metallurgical Testwork on Torlon Zinc-Lead Mineralization
      13:53 EDT Wednesday, September 17, 2008

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 17, 2008) - Firestone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FV)(FRANKFURT:F5V) has successfully completed an initial phase metallurgical testing of the Torlon Hill zinc-lead project mineralization.

"We are pleased with the initial test results from SGS Lakefield on the Torlon zinc-lead mineralization and are continuing to work with SGS Lakefield on additional metallurgical studies. We are also currently looking at several alternative processing technologies to optimize zinc extraction," says Lori Walton, President of Firestone Ventures Inc. "As predicted, the supply gap for zinc decreased in 2008, but the long term outlook for zinc remains strong and the metallurgical testwork we have commissioned will significantly advance the development of the Torlon project."

A composite metallurgical test sample returning an average grade of 11.3% zinc and 3.97% lead was used for the SGS metallurgical testwork. The mineralized sample responded positively to dense media separation ("DMS") and at a specific gravity of 2.9 it was possible to eliminate 55% of the acid consuming calcium phase in the material with losses of only 5% of the lead and 8% of the zinc. Flotation testwork produced zinc and lead recoveries up to 79% and 82%, respectively. The final lead concentrate grade was in excess of 60% lead. Zinc concentrate grades ranged from 30-40% and additional work is underway to examine options for producing an upgraded zinc product. These tests are preliminary and further optimization of concentrate grades and recoveries are expected. Consulting firm Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited ("WGM") is overseeing the metallurgical testwork in collaboration with Firestone personnel.

Smithsonite (ZnCO3) is the prevalent zinc mineral at Torlon Hill, occurring as a replacement to limestone, and resulting in high grade mineralization locally exceeding 40% zinc. Other non-sulphide zinc minerals are relatively rare, but minor amounts of a hydrous zinc-carbonate (hydrozincite) and hydrated zinc-silicate (hemimorphite) are seen locally in the weathering zone. The lead-carbonate mineral cerussite is important locally. There is no evidence of deleterious zinc-clay minerals such as sauconite. Traces of sphalerite have been found in a sulphide (mostly galena-pyrite) zone at the base of the deposit. Silver-rich galena veinlets cross-cut the pervasive zinc-replacement mineralization.

Torlon Hill is an intensely oxidized zinc-lead (plus silver) mineralized body hosted in Permian dolostone breccia and limestone. The tectonic setting of Torlon Hill, near the suture between the North American tectonic plate and the Caribbean tectonic plate, is likely the causative factor for mineralization. The area surrounding Torlon Hill has very high potential for hosting additional structurally controlled non-sulphide zinc deposits in addition to conventional Mississippi Valley-Type mineralization.

The zinc-lead (plus silver) mineralization at Torlon Hill is contained within a shallowly southeast-dipping body measuring approximately 400 metres long, 20 to 100 metres wide and up to 30 metres thick.

In other news, Firestone is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire 100% interest in certain mineral properties in Guatemala. The company has begun a detailed due diligence program on the properties and additional details will be released upon signing of the Final Agreement.

This news release has been reviewed and approved by J. Cleary, CPG, Qualified Person, Al Workman, P.Geo., Vice President of Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited and D. Koningen, P.Eng. The road-accessible Torlon Hill project is located 18 kilometres northwest of the city of Huehuetenango, which is situated on the Pan-American Highway in western Guatemala.
