Hop-on Awarded Second U.S. Design Patent Design and Infringement Rights Belong to Hop-on

      IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Hop-on, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HPNN) announced today that it has received notification of U.S. Patent Office approval for their innovative flip phone design pending since 2005. The news comes just days after Hop-on secured patent approval for their MP3 phone, resolving past uncertainty as to the innovator of this market-leading cell phone. (Citing ref.US-D536,320-S).

Peter Michaels, President of Hop-on, considers this a major victory for those who actually design these products, and not simply infringe on smaller companies' ideas. "The utilization by market leaders dedicating billions in vast resources developed my product at record speed. The visual appearance test set forth in other recent court decisions could prove evidence my design reaped millions for those who infringed. Based on almost three years of extensive research, it appears Hop-on's design predates all existing patents and will finally allow shareholders of THIS company to reap the benefits of their invention. We have a fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders to ensure appropriate returns on their significant investment of our new designs. This patent reflects the recognition our designs deserve and enables protection of our intellectual property portfolio."

Hop-on's patent "Thin Mobile Telephone" was published in 2005 when every cell phone manufacturer appeared caught in the frenzy to manufacture new products. The technology-crazed era caused intense competition, reducing industry standards to a level where mass production replaced true invention. This came at a time when no one seemed to pay attention to the details of which company actually owned the design, but instead focused solely on the demand for new product releases. As mobile communications has developed, the vast number of companies whose products infringed on this patent can be seen market wide. In addition, this frenzy compromised the due diligence process in determining the origination of new designs, resulting in patent infringement by larger corporations.

The second patent was released on the day Qualcomm and Nokia faced expired licensing agreements and is certain to raise more legal questions of who will bear the cost of these violations. Past and future royalties could result in significant monetary damages and will serve to deter industry leaders' future misuse of smaller companies' designs. Preliminary negotiations are continuing with several carriers and manufacturers to reach licensing agreements. The market will ultimately determine the fate of those companies whose improvements on Michaels' product may result in the company seeking injunctive relief against future sales.

Although no law suits have been filed at this time, those in violation have been formally noticed of the infringement. Basically, all we ask is that companies who use our design compensate us for the use of the design; bottom line, says Michaels, "If they wish to continue making my phone, they will need a license."

in hohem Mass.

      HOP-ON INC (U-HPNN) - News Release
Hop-On Raises EUR 13 Million Euros

      2007-06-07 11:25 ET - News Release

      IRVINE, CA -- (MARKETWIRE) -- 06/07/07

HOP-ON, INC. (PINKSHEETS: HPNN) announced today the Company completed a EUR 13 million Euro venture-based financing for Skye-phone development through their French-based subsidiary, Mobile Gaming EU Ltd. The previous contract between HOP-ON and GBM led to Etisalat's decision last week to deploy the product with conditional patent approval. The financial terms, signed after Monday's patent approval in Paris, offer the infusion of capital required to expand product development of HOP-ON's Skye-phone. GBM's commitment as Dubai's technology pioneer solidified their patent license in non-casino venues while providing the necessary resources for Mobile Gaming EU Ltd. to pursue Casino Gaming on Cell/WiFi/PDA phones in the European Union.

The first round of financing was led by Mr. Antonio Leone, director of new development at Banca Intesa S.p.A., Milan, Italy. Intesa has provided mobile gaming financing in the UK to foreign entities and has vast experience in patent and trademark guarantees. GBM has exclusive use of Skye-phone's EU patent in the Middle East forecasting expected revenues to enable funding of approval in both Gibraltar and EEC.

Peter Michaels, president of HOP-ON, stated, "The intellectual property value HOP-ON developed gives us an advantage in these foreign markets. We are satisfied the final patent approval through the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) located in Paris, France presented this opportunity to GBM and benefits our company through local government approval processes."

The financial terms provide Mobile Gaming EU Ltd. the capital required to proceed in obtaining licenses abroad resulting in lucrative revenues to HOP-ON shareholders. Etisalat's recent deployment of Skye-phone secured GBM's investment for the exclusive patent license in the Middle East for all gaming unrelated to gambling.

Mobile Gaming EU Ltd. primary shareholder, Mr. Paulo Carlucci, an Italian citizen residing in Dubai, first approached Michaels after researching his own similar idea through patent attorneys in France. The self made millionaire was determined to pioneer the IP race in his native Italy and became the driving force behind the deal with GBM. Mr. Carlucci will be directing all EU operations and has provided the opportunity for procurement of these agreements based on the Intellectual Property portfolio, stating: "Although Mr. Peter Michaels will not be involved in the gaming applications of the company's patent portfolio, I am confident this collaboration will provide security for the company's intellectual property rights in foreign markets. I look forward to presenting relevant details at the first EU board meeting July 27th at 10:00 am at the Lafayette Hotel in Paris." Additional information can be found at www.concorde-hotels.com.

Palm v. Hop-on, Palm Loses Legal Trademark Infringement; "Graffiti Wireless" Awarded to Hop-on by U.S. District Court

      2007-07-18 11:55 ET - News Release

      IRVINE, CA -- (MARKETWIRE) -- 07/18/07

HOP-ON, INC. (PINKSHEETS: HPNN) announced today the Company prevailed on the motion against Palmsource, Inc in the long awaited decision for infringement on the "Graffiti Wireless" trademark in the Central District Court of California. Today, Hop-on has been legally permitted to continue the use of their "Graffiti Wireless" trademark, following the U.S District Court, Central District of California decision that Palm Source, aka Access Systems America, Inc., has in fact appeared to have violated both state and federal law. The failure to comply with the rules required by the jurisdiction has shown a direct violation by a major corporation against the small Irvine Company, which has finally been vindicated by the courts as being victimized by simple violation of basic court processes. Palm Source, aka Access America, Inc., was not available for comment in response to the decision that enables the Irvine-based company to begin calculating their losses caused by the defectively filed lawsuit.

Christopher Clark, Trial Attorney from Fingal, Fahrney & Clark, is known by the industry to challenge large corporations that believe they can prevail on market share alone. "The requirements for service of any federal lawsuit were not appropriately met by the plaintiff and I am satisfied that the injunction has been lifted so my client can proceed in this matter. The basic fact is now Hop-on can complete all, outstanding contracts with the trademark, which was previously ordered by the court as illegal."

Peter Michaels, President of Hop-on, stated, "I anticipated the court's ruling and I am unable to disclose our future litigation plans at this time, but am grateful that the court's decision has opened this path for our company and our loyal shareholders."

Verizon Opens Its Network to Other Phones, Including Those Manufactured by Hop-on

      IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Hop-on, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HPNN), a leading developer and marketer of wireless phones, patented accessories and the leader of mobile gambling technology, wholly embraced Verizon (NYSE:VZ) Wireless' announcement that it will allow phone and mobile device manufacturers connection to their network.

Verizon's announcement came shortly after Google (NSDQ:GOOG) unveiled its plans to release its own Android open mobile platform, as well as its Open Handset Alliance, a group of over 30 companies attempting to develop lower cost, open mobile devices.

These moves come in sharp contrast to the companies' past strategies of blocking the Electronic Identification Numbers (EIN) of non-approved CDMA phones. Other communication companies likely will follow both Verizon's and Google's new open approach. This move will revolutionize the availability and accessibility of technology for consumers.

As one of the only American manufacturers of CDMA phones, Hop-on anticipates an enormous sales boost, as a result of Verizon's "Any App, Any Device" initiative.

This decision means Hop-on can sell its phones to any customer, without Verizon blocking the EIN numbers. The minimal technical standards for connecting to Verizon's network will be announced early next year. However, Hop-on is familiar with CDMA standards and its phones are already approved for use on several networks.

Hop-on would also benefit exponentially, as a Pioneer and leading CDMA phone provider, said Hop-on President, Peter Michaels. "Now people will be able to choose from a wider selection of phones that are free of carrier restrictions. "Hop-on's innovative, cost-effective phones, such as the 1993 model, which costs less than $75, offers stunning and most desired features at a significantly lower price. This makes the Hop on model 1993 the perfect choice for first-time cell phone buyers and the lower-end market."

"Verizon Wireless' strategy to open its network is a positive move that could help it generate revenue from devices it doesn't currently sell, such as Internet tablets, PCs and other portable devices", said Jack Gold, founder and principal analyst at J. Gold Associates."

This unprecedented plan could also open the door for non-phone devices, such as gaming systems or cameras to receive cellular access for the first time. This would give an incredible boost to Hop-on's latest mobile gaming and wagering software, which could be played through Verizon's customers' phones.
