Die ersten US-Umsätze gab es schon, wenn auch überschaubar. Du bist nicht auf dem letzten Stand, scheint mir.

The US pricing of
SCENESSE® under “medical benefit” is uniformly
being adopted while the system of institutional
processing of the reimbursement is variable across
different states whereby generally payment terms
range from 60 to 120 days. Each state bound insurer
typically has a contract or arrangement with the
local Specialty Center (“within network”), and after
agreeing PA and treatment codes, the insurer
reimburses the treatment center for the SCENESSE®
implant and administration procedure. After the

per month as of June 2019 [valid to March 2020]. These 28 were selected from recent industry press
and reports from financial services as drugs commanding the highest price per month of treatment in
2019 and 2020.
The value proposition for SCENESSE®
in the United States is put in context of non-orphan (>200,000
patients) and orphan therapies (<200,000 patients). Although SCENESSE®
is not listed among high
drug prices in the United States, the analyses are providing US insurers and Centers for Medicare and
Medicaid services a first view on the drug’s positioning.
The highest cost drug is ZOLGENSMA®.
Between $50,000 and $100,000 there are 7 drugs (Soliris®, Myalept®, Ravicti®, Movenclad®,
Actimmune®, Lumizyme®, Luxturna®)
In the brackets between $40,000 to $50,000 per month per treatment course, 7 drugs are listed
(Oxervate®, Takhzyro®, Daraprim®, Juxtapid®, Cinryze®, Chenodal®, Gattex®).
Between $30,000 and $40,000 per month there are 6 drugs (HP Acthar®, Tegsedi®, Vitrakvia®,
Ayvakit®, Kynamro®, Spinraza®).
In the bracket of $20,000 and $30,000 per month there are 3 drugs (Solvaldi®, Viekira®, Tibsovo®).
In the bracket between $10,000 and $20,000 there are 4 drugs (Keytruda®, Rituxan®, Fotolyn®,
Blincyto®).
The SCENESSE®
treatment in EPP is put in context of 28 orphan and non-orphan drugs as reflected in a
monthly cost per treatment.
In summarizing the status of SCENESSE®
, the first EPP patients may obtain SCENESSE® after 15 April
2020, conditional to written confirmation by the insurance providers and PENDING THE EFFECTS OF
THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC on the hospitals’ ability to provide adequate clinical care.

Folie 16! Sind alles Monatspreise und würde für Scenesse bedeuten nur10000 Dollar im Monat bei einer Behandlung für seltene Krankheiten. Ich kann mir bei Wolgen nicht vorstellen das er Geld liegen lässt.

Könnte das nicht ausgeglichen werden durch die ersten US-Umsätze, die im/ab April getätigt wurden und die Versicherungen dort in 6-8- Monaten zahlen ?
Wegen US-Rollout steht in der Präsentation:" From the three Specialty Centers upon Launch, we now have 17 accredited out of 30 planned across the US. Over 40 private insurers have agreed to cover the costs of Treatment of Scenesse ..."

Weil aufgrund der Zahlungsfristen der Krankenkassen auch in Europa die Corona Ausfälle erst jetzt noch so richtig kicken könnten. Weiss aber nicht im Detail wie die Fristen in Europa sind.
