NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--May 16, 2007 -- Aurus Corp.\'s (Other OTC:AURC.PK - News) board of directors is pleased to announce to its shareholders that it has decided to accept the offer of Kartex Financial Corporation to purchase all outstanding shares at $.55 and, consequently, it recommends to the shareholders to accept the offer.

The president, Fedor Dovgan, assures the shareholders that the procedure to conclude the transaction will be done in a very expeditious manner.
