TNG SUBMITS SUPPLEMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
STUDY FOR ITS DARWIN TIVAN® PROCESSING FACILITY
Submission of EIS Supplement marks another major step towards finalisation of the permitting requirements
for development of the world-scale Mount Peake Vanadium-Titanium-Iron Project
Australian resource and mineral processing technology company TNG Limited (ASX: TNG) (“TNG” or the “Company”)
is pleased to advise that it has submitted the Supplement to the Company’s Draft Environmental Impact
Statement (“EIS”) for its proposed Darwin TIVAN® Processing Facility, part of its 100%-owned Mount Peake
Vanadium-Titanium-Iron Project, to the Northern Territory Environmental Protection Authority (“NT EPA”).
The Company submitted the Draft EIS in late 2019 (see ASX Announcement dated 30 October 2019). Following a
detailed review by the NT EPA and receipt of public submissions and comments from Northern Territory
Government agencies, the Company subsequently received a “Direction to Prepare a Supplement to the Draft EIS”
(see ASX announcement dated 16 April 2020).
In order to complete the EIS Supplement, the Company expanded detailed work already undertaken for the Draft
EIS submission and also undertook additional technical studies to inform the development of the Supplement,
following comments and subsequent requirements received from the NT EPA.
The EIS Supplement represents a significant body of work with the following detailed assessments and technical
studies having been expanded and included as part of the EIS Supplement submission:
• Stormwater Management Plan
• Groundwater Impact Evaluation
• Marine and Coastal Assessment
• Revised Greenhouse Gas Assessment
• Revised Air Quality Assessment
• Updated Noise Impact Assessment
• Wastewater Treatment Plant Assessment
• Traffic Impact Assessment
• Community and Stakeholder Engagement Plan
• Waste Materials Characterisation
• Significant Fauna Impact Assessment
• Rehabilitation Management Plan
The EIS for the DPF is a major component of the Mount Peake Project and has been produced separately to the
environmental approvals already received in early 2018 for the Mount Peake Mine Site and Beneficiation Plant (see
ASX announcements dated 15 May 2018 and 25 January 2018).
The DPF requires assessment under the Northern Territory Environmental Assessment Act 1982 and is a controlled
action under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

EIS nun öffentlich ausgeschrieben. stimmung im AussiBoard dazu war gut, denn wastewater management von der deutschen SMS scheint sehr gut gelöst zu werden.
