Licht am Ende des Tunnels

Nach sieben verlustreichen Jahren steht der Anbieter von Messausrüstungen in der Chip-Produktion kurz vor der Wende. Die Aktie könnte sich durchaus verdoppeln.

Eine wechselvolle Zeit durchlebte der Nanotechnologie-Spezialist seit der Gründung 1993. Das israelische Unternehmen schaffte es gerade noch vor dem Zusammenbruch der New-Economy-Blase an die Nasdaq. 60 Millionen US-Dollar sammelte der Novize ein, die Firma wurde seinerzeit mit abenteuerlichen 270 Millionen Dollar bewertet. Kaum börsennotiert, brach der Kurs auch schon dramatisch ein. Bis zum Jahr 2002 war die Aktie weniger als ein Sechstel ihrer ursprünglichen Emissionstaxe wert. Zu Recht, denn seit dem Jahr 2000 fuhren die Israelis kontinuierlich Verluste ein.
Ausgerichtet auf die Kernprojekte

Jetzt steht der Turnaround kurz bevor. Im August 2006 hatte Gabi Seligsohn als Vorstandsvorsitzender das Ruder übernommen. Er legte das Augenmerk auf Kostensenkungen. 30 Mitarbeiter mussten gehen. Das sparte jährlich zwei Millionen Dollar ein. Zusätzlich strich der neue Manager Projekte zusammen und konzentrierte sich auf die wichtigsten Aufträge. Nova hat sich seither auf den Herstellungsprozess von Speicherchips spezialisiert und setzt hierbei auf ein Messverfahren, das die Oberflächenstruktur von Wafern mittels Licht und dessen Reflektion misst. Es handelt sich um eine Art Qualitätskontrolle. Zur Kundschaft zählen 21 der 25 weltweit größten Speicherchip-Produzenten, darunter Infineon und Samsung.
Saniert und wachstumsstark

An Bord sind derzeit 270 Mitarbeiter. Im vorigen Jahr zog der Umsatz um 60 Prozent auf 48 Millionen US-Dollar an. Der Wachstumstrend setzt sich fort: Im ersten Quartal kletterte der Umsatz im Vergleich zu den ersten drei Monaten 2006 abermals um 30 Prozent auf 13,4 Millionen Dollar. Wären keine einmaligen Sonderbelastungen angefallen, so hätte das Unternehmen schon einen Gewinn vorweisen können. Mit schwarzen Zahlen dürfte das zweite Vierteljahr abschließen. Vorstandschef Seligsohn erreicht dank der Sparanstrengungen schon ab einem Quartalsumsatz von 13 Millionen Dollar den Break-even. Seit Anfang Oktober kletterte der Kurs von 1,48 Euro auf zuletzt 2,12 Euro. Trotz des Kursanstieges ist der Nasdaq-Titel noch stark unbewertet.

Trotz voller Kassen superbillig

In der Kriegskasse liegen 21 Millionen Dollar. Die Bilanz ist frei von Schulden. Der Börsenwert ist mit rund 40 Millionen Dollar spottbillig. Spätestens wenn die Israelis erstmals schwarze Zahlen melden, dürfte der Kurs durch die Decke gehen. Die Notiz kann sich dann durchaus verdoppeln. Das Risiko ist dank des hohen Barmittelbestandes überschaubar.

Laut Aktionär sollten das erste Mal schwarze Zahlen präsentiert werden.Das müsste bei weiterhin 30% Umsatzplus positiv aufgenommmen werden,d.h. über 3$.

adera - ich hoffe es mehr als du glauben würdest, dass diese aktie wieder steigt - denn momentan sinkt sie wie eine bleiente!!!

.....vielleicht auch nur um alle bei 1,70 (ausstiegsempfehlung des Aktionärs) los zu werden und dann billig die teile einzusammeln....

aber insiderhandel gibts doch nicht, oder??

Mach Dich doch nicht verrückt. Bei so einem engen Wert sind diese Schwankungen doch nicht ungewöhnlich. Es ist so leicht, SL-Order auszulösen. Dadurch sollte man sich nicht verrückt machen lassen.
Die Kurse sind ja fast Zufall. Solange von der Newsseite da nichts negatives kommt, ist das alles nur Spielerei...................

Noch eine Anmerkung:

Wenn man Nova kaufen will, dann kriegt man sie fast nur billig, wenn sie ins fallen kommt. Wenn aus dem ASK gekauft wird, dann treibt man den Kurs hoch, weil kaum was im Angebot ist. Also Leute, die in diese Aktie rein wollen gehen wie folgt vor:
Kaufen sich oben ein paar Aktien nach und nach,ohne den Kurs hoch zu treiben. Dann verkaufen sie diese Positionen unlimitiert und lösen so Stop-Loss Orders aus. Unten stehen dann ihre großen Kauforders und sammeln die SL-Verkäufe ein. Simpel,oder?

Deswegen nicht gleich verrückt machen lassen. Solche Spielereien sind bei kleineren Werten normal.

was hast du erwartet? Das so ein enger Wert kaum schwankt bzw. wie ein Blue Chip läuft? Fundamental sieht es doch sehr gut aus. Fast die Häfte des Börsenwert sind über Cash abgedeckt. Wenn jetzt die ersten Gewinne in Q2 kommen,dann sieht es noch besser aus.

Also abwarten.Bisl Geduld braucht man schon, bis auch andere Anleger auf Nova aufmerksam werden.

Wie gesagt, ich würde abwarten. Das die Aktie zum Teil erhebliche Tagesschwankungen hat, hat man immer wieder in der Vergangenheit gesehen. Mit solchen Schwankungen muß man leben können, ansonsten hat man einen zu spekulativen Wert. Fundamental hat sich eh nichts verändert. Also ein Grund mehr zu warten. Kann gut sein, dass Impulse am 10.Juli kommen. Da ist ja eine FA-Vorstellung bzw. Konferenz. Und die Zahlen, die Ende JUli/Anfang Augsut kommen sollen, dürften auch großen Einfluss haben.

Vielleicht kommen morgen Impulse. Spätestens zu den Zahlen dürfte sich da was tun. Momentan kann man das Ding sehr günstig einkaufen. Und dann einfach mal etwas warten.

Steigende Kurse bei deutlich steigenden Umsätzen! Das kann mehr sehr positiv werten. Dazu ist der Geldfluss in die Aktie sehr stark, wie man am Money Flow sieht!
Mit kleinen Umsätzen wurden da welche raus gekegelt..........Wer da jetzt wohl kauft

REHOVOT, Israel, August 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nova Measuring Instruments Ltd. (Nasdaq: NVMI), provider of leading edge stand alone metrology and the market leader of integrated metrology solutions to the semiconductor process control market, today reported its results for the second quarter of 2007.

Total revenues increased 29% to $14.8 million, compared to $11.4 million reported for the second quarter of 2006. Revenues increased 11% sequentially compared to $13.4 million reported for the first quarter of 2007.

Gross margin for the second quarter of 2007 was 46% compared with 43% for the second quarter of 2006 and 44% for the first quarter of 2007.

Total operating expenses were $5.9 million for the second quarter of 2007, compared with $5.4 million in the second quarter of 2006, and $6.6 million in the first quarter of 2007.

Net profit for the second quarter of 2007 was $1.1 million, $0.06 basic profit per share and $0.05 diluted profit per share, compared with a net loss of $0.4 million, or $0.02 per share, for the second quarter of 2006, and compared with a net loss of $0.6 million, or $0.04 per share, for the first quarter of 2007. The second quarter net results included $0.4 million of share based compensation expenses and amortization of intangible assets.

Cash reserves at the end of the second quarter of 2007 were $20.4 million, a decrease of $0.7 million compared to the end of first quarter of 2007. This decrease is related to final payments of intelectual property litigation costs which were settled back in April this year.

Der aktuelle Börsenwert von 46,7 Mio.$ ist fast zur Hälfte mit dem Cashbestand von 20,4 Mio.$ abgedeckt. In meinen Augen ist Nova klar unterbewertet.

Ich rechne konservativ mit einem Gewinn von 15-20 Cent je Aktie! Das ergibt KGV 13-18

KGV-Berechnung: 2008

Ich rechne konservativ mit einem Gewinn von 23-28Cent je Aktie!
Das ergibt KGV von um die 10

Vorbörse sieht gut aus:

2,90$ zu 3,10$ gestellt! 3,10$ wurden schon bezahlt. Das wäre ein Plus von 15% zu gestern

Dazu wird es charttechnisch hochinteressant, wenn die Marke von 3,10$ überwunden wird. Siehe Chart anbei!

danke für die schnellen news - hatte den tag über keine zeit - war voll mit arbeit eingedeckt...

der heutige tag gibt ja mal grund zur freude -ich bleib drin, obwohl die versuchung den kauf bei ca. 1,70 zu geld zu machen groß ist....

Und: hättest du vielleicht einen tip, wo man einen macd(den man für seine bedürfnisse einstellen kann) gratis bekommt??

habe den eindruck du hast gute infoquellen und beschäftigtst dich schon länger mit dieser materie....

schade, dass Nova zum 4.Mal beim Widerstand, der etwas über der 3$ liegt, gescheitert ist. Wer weiß wie es gelaufen wäre, wenn der gesamtmarkt nicht so nervös wäre.

aufgrund der zahlen müßte nova eigentlich bald über den widerstand bei 3,10$ steigen. alles andere wäre sehr unlogisch bzw. kaum nachvollziehbar.

fällt die 3,10$ dürfte so richtig die post abgehen...............
aufgrund des cashbestandes von über 20 Mio.$ und einem Börsenwert von knapp 50 Mio.$ bekommt man Nova fast geschenkt. Könnte daher auch ein Übernahmekandidat sein.
