This phenomenon, referred to as community-acquired MRSA or CA-MRSA, is responsible for an increasing number of infections and fatalities.

Removing mold, mildew and bacteria can involve strong chemicals that can trigger health problems. The technology fair was sponsored by the Committee on Homeland Security. UDTT was among the 15 companies invited to present its bioterrorism detection technology. Other presenters included the Department of Homeland Security, SAIC, RAE Systems, and Smiths Detection.

UDTT's BSM-2000 combines a bioaerosol capture device with a simple and robust chemical test for bacterial spores that is completely automated. We propose to use the BSM-2000 as a front-end monitor to the Biohazard Detection System (BDS) or any other Secondary monitor with the promise of drastically reducing the recurring operating costs for anthrax screening at postal facilities and any other facility where bio-terrorism is of concern.

In general, the principle of operation for the BSM-2000 consists of 1) monitoring the air for changes in bacterial spore concentration, and 2) when a change in bacterial spore concentration is greater than the natural variations, then the BSM-2000 triggers the expensive BDS unit to validate the result. Alternatively, the BSM-2000 alarm could prompt a technician to perform other confirmatory tests such as traditional culturing or immunoassays, which is reminiscent of a smoke alarm signaling the fire department.

Early Wednesday morning, authorities at the Port of Long Beach in California investigated a cargo container marked with graffiti saying "Anthrax a gift from Osama." Long Beach Fire Battalion Chief Frank Hayes said a truck hauling the container was stopped at a terminal around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday because of the spray-painted graffiti.

The truck driver told authorities the container was picked up in nearby Wilmington and was empty. The container was moved to an isolated area of the port for inspection and hazardous materials crews wearing oxygen tanks and protective suits have opened it. Authorities say there are no evacuations and terminal operations are continuing.

On a separate occasion on March 31st, a jihadist website posted instructions on making deadly anthrax for biological weapons. The website disclosed illustrated instructions and included additional links and promised to provide information on a delivery system in the future, a Cessna airplane.

Hab mich schon lange eingedeckt mit Teilen,natürlich zu überhöhten Preisen.Dachte damals der Zock geht los aber ne.Solange hier Dilutiert wird sehe ich keine großen Chancen.
Hab mich nicht weiter mit dem Teil beschäftigt.Als Depotleiche abgehackt sozusagen.

Universal Detection Technology Analyzes the Recent Budget Increase of the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Health Affairs

On April 1, 2007, assistant Secretary and Chief Medical Officer Jeffery Runge, M.D. gave testimony to the House Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Homeland Security on the performance and activities of the Office of Health Affairs.

The Office of the Chief Medical Officer and for the Office of Health Affairs (OHA) was formed as part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in improving the medical and health security of the Nation. This new Office was established to fill gaps the Department identified in the areas of weapons of mass destruction(WMD) and biodefense operations, planning and readiness, and the health and safety of the DHS workforce. The OHA is assigned to oversee the deployment of automated detection equipment for early warning of a release of an aerosolized biological agent.

The 2009 OHA budget calls for $111.6 million to be used in early detection and warning against biological attacks in over 30 of the Nation's highest-risk urban areas through placement of a series of biological pathogen detectors. Deployment of such technology is critical to the Nation's security as the detection of a biological pathogen, such as aerosolized anthrax, at the earliest stages of release is critical to successful treatment of the affected population. Early detection and warning of a biological attack is essential for the rapid identification of the bioagent, which allows prophylactic treatment and prevention of casualties, provides forensic evidence to law enforcement on the source and nature of the attack, and demonstrates a spatial distribution of contamination and population exposure.

Earlier last week, UDTT was invited to a technology fair a by the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security, to present the technology deployed in its BSM-2000 airborne anthrax detector. The technology fair focused on educating members and staff of the U.S. House of Representatives on current homeland security technologies available to successfully detect and respond to acts of bioterrorism.

"This BSM-2000 is a perfect fit for the Office of Health Affairs early detection needs," said Mr. Amir Ettehadieh, UDTT Director of Research and Development. "With the positive reception we received at last week's tech fair we hope that our technology will be recognized by key members of the DHS," he added.

UDTT's BSM-2000 combines a bioaerosol capture device with a simple and robust chemical test for bacterial spores that is completely automated. We propose to use the BSM-2000 as a front-end monitor to the Biohazard Detection System (BDS) or any other Secondary monitor with the promise of drastically reducing the recurring operating costs for anthrax screening at postal facilities and any other facility where bio-terrorism is of concern.

Purchase Order Received for UDTT's EPA Registered Products Effective in Killing MRSA Bacteria and Company's Mini Fogger Used for Applying Anti MRSA Products
Universal Detection Technology (www.udetection.com) (OTCBB: UDTT) (FRANKFURT: PO8), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and other infectious health threats and provider of counter-terrorism consulting and training services, announced today that it has received its second purchase order from a Quiznos Restaurant franchise. The purchase order is for UDTT's line of Anti-Microbial Products approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Company's mini fogger used for applying those products.

UDTT's broad spectrum disinfectant kills 99.9% of bacteria and is a green alternative to chlorine bleach and alcohol based disinfectants. In a study conducted in 2007, Vital Oxide demonstrated no growth of Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) in any of the 10 primary subculture tubes and no growth in any of the 10 secondary subculture tubes following a ten minute exposure period at 19°c. The conclusion of the study was that under the conditions of the investigation, Vital Oxide demonstrated efficacy against MRSA as required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for disinfectant label claims following a ten minute exposure period at 19°c.

The Vital Oxide disinfectant was recently chosen by Princeton University staff to protect against MRSA outbreaks in gyms and locker rooms. UDTT also recently received a purchase order from China for Vital Oxide. The areas of use include hospitals, schools and universities, powerboats, sailboats, cruise ships, restaurants, hotel rooms, office buildings, gyms, building materials, movie theatres, public transportation infrastructure, and homes.

MRSA is usually transmitted by direct skin-to-skin contact or contact with shared items or surfaces that have come into contact with someone else's infection (e.g., towels, used bandages). There has been an increase in the spread of MRSA infections in the past few years and the recent death of a student at Western Washington University is very alarming as the student was without history of hospitalization, surgery, dialysis, or residency in a long-term care facility in the past year. This phenomenon, referred to as community-acquired MRSA or CA-MRSA, is responsible for an increasing number of infections and fatalities. Studies performed by the Center for Disease Control also show that MRSA can cause gastroenteritis if the area where food is prepared or people who handle food are contaminated with MRSA. The CDC study is another example of the recent spread of CA-MRSA.

The three biggest life threatening Bio-terror scenarios that arguably pose the greatest threats to humans are a smallpox attack, an airborne anthrax attack, and a release of botulinum toxin in particular the milk supply.

The Anthrax mailings of 2001 were the most recent bio-terror attack involving weaponized anthrax. It is widely believed that the anthrax mailings were work of a domestic terrorist with access to advanced bio-weapon manufacturing equipment. Prior to that, the Aum Shinrikyo cult in Japan attempted an anthrax release in Tokyo in 1995 that did not cause any casualties due to the less virulent strain of anthrax used. Most disturbing is Al-Qaeda's pursuit of biological weapons evidence of which was uncovered in safe houses in Afghanistan.

The government currently has programs such as Project Bio-watch to monitor the air in large metropolitan areas as well as equipment in place to scan mail for bio-weapons. However, these programs need to be upgraded to allow for more rapid detection of an attack as well as being able to detect modified and more virulent stains of bio-weapons.

MRSA is found worldwide, predominantly in hospitals and institutions such as nursing homes. Recently MRSA has also spread in the general community. There are three main reservoirs (and hence sources of spread and infection) for MRSA in hospital and institutions: staff, patients and inanimate objects such as beds, linen and utensils. Hospitals need to take precautions to prevent the spread of MRSA by sterilizing linen and clothing.

MRSA infections occur in approximately 94,000 persons each year and are associated with approximately 19,000 deaths. Of these infections, about 86% are healthcare-associated and 14% are community-associated.

Universal Detection Technology Receives Contract to Provide Radiation Detection Equipment for the 2008 Beijing Olympics

The devices are capable of detecting Gamma and Neutron Radiation and are designed to provide portal protection.

The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) is responsible for all aspects of security for the Olympics. BOCOG plans to deploy 80,000 security personnel for the Olympics. Universal Detection Technology Receives Contract to Provide Radiation Detection Equipment for the 2008 Beijing Olympics
Universal Detection Technology (www.udetection.com) (OTCBB: UDTT) (FRANKFURT: PO8), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and other infectious health threats and provider of counter-terrorism consulting and training services, reported today that it has received a contract to provide radiation detection equipment for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The devices are capable of detecting Gamma and Neutron Radiation and are designed to provide portal protection.

The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) is responsible for all aspects of security for the Olympics. BOCOG plans to deploy 80,000 security personnel for the Olympics. According to Liu Shaowu, the BOCOG security department director, "BOCOG has finished more than 52 schemes and more than 500 specific plans for security, transportation, fire-fighting, anti-terrorism and VIP protection. Beijing will host safe Games."

UDTT will supply equipment that will be used for search and identification of gamma and neutron radioactive materials. The instruments feature the capability to identify the detected isotopes and characterize categories from medical, industrial, natural occurring radioactive materials (NORM) and special nuclear materials (SNM). Because of their high sensitivity, they can be used to verify any alarm triggered by a fix-installed monitor or by a radiation pager, to locate sources, measure radiation levels, and even to identify the detected isotope. The instruments are ideally suited for First Responders, Border Control, Customs inspectors, site security in critical infrastructures, and for all missions related to the control of nuclear materials. When used in concert, the instruments are optimal in providing portal protection for entrances to venues such as sports stadiums and the Olympic village. The device characteristics include:

Vorwurf: Das bekannte Börsenforum übt ungerechtfertigt Zensur und toleriert rassistische Auswüchse Einzelner. Bis dato galt „wallstreet-online“ unter Börsenfreaks als eine der ersten Adressen, wenn es Investoren darum ging, untereinander Erfahrungen, Tipps und Marktinformationen auszutauschen. Zwar muten manche der themenbezogenen Foren, bei ‚w-o’ Threads genannt, eher wie Treffpunkte spät pubertierender Junginvestoren an, hingegen überzeugen andere wiederum durch hochqualitative Beiträge. So auch das vor vier Jahren gegründete Forum zu Bougainville Copper, einer der weltgrößten Kupfer- und Goldminen. Kaum aber steht die Mine nach 18 Jahren bürgerkriegsbedingter Schließung nun vor der Wiedereröffnung, entspinnen sich urplötzlich Unruhen bislang nicht gekannten Ausmaßes in eben jenem Forum, dass bislang gerade wegen seines friedlichen Stils bekannt war. Ausgelöst wurde das ganze mit dem Auftauchen eines Threadteilnehmers mit Namen „rentnerdasein“. Über Wochen hinweg hatte dieser mit beleidigenden, teils diskriminierenden sowie rassistischen Diskussionsbeiträgen die bis dahin friedfertige Community aufzumischen versucht. Obwohl er dabei mehrfach gegen die so genannten Boardregeln verstoßen hatte, schritten die Moderatoren des Forums nicht ein. Erst als die so von „rentnerdasein“ Verunglimpften begannen, sich verbal zur Wehr zu setzen, passierte es: erste Diskussionsteilnehmer wurden unter Schmähungen des besagten Unruhestifters, der sich einmal sogar selbst als „Moderator“ outete, gesperrt. Zudem haben der/die Moderatoren, die sich so sinnige Pseudonyme wie etwa MaatMOD, MadMOD etc. geben, gleich seitenweise Forenbeiträge aus dem Bougainville Thread gelöscht. Mit dabei: dutzende sachbezogener Texte und nicht etwa ausschließlich Junk-Postings. Irritierte Diskussionsteilnehmer, die dagegen protestierten, wurden kurzerhand mit Formulierungen wie „ein Moderator brauche seine Vorgehensweise nicht zu rechtfertigen“ abgespeist. Erneutes Insistieren führte dann meist zur Sperrung des betreffenden Teilnehmers. „Was wallstreet-online da veranstaltet“, so ein langjähriger Diskutant, „erinnert mich schon arg an Stasimethoden!“ Vor allem skandalös ist das Verhalten der Moderatoren dann, wenn sie nicht einschreiten, wenn Threadteilnehmer heftigst beleidigt werden: So wurde etwa aus dem Pseudonym „stiefelriemen“ ungestraft „stiefellecker“ und für den Teilnehmer „Nekro“ erfand besagtes „rentnerdasein“ das rassistische „Negro“. Letzterer, ein Liechtensteiner Staatsbürger, hat inzwischen rechtliche Schritte gegen wallstreet-online eingeleitet. Zu den Vorkommnissen bei dem Internetdienstleister nehmen nun auch die Europäischen Aktionäre von Bougainville Copper Stellung: Es sei nicht hinnehmbar, so Aktionärssprecher Axel G. Sturm,, dass die Leitung eines offenen Forums verbale Angriffe rassistischer Art duldet und eindeutig sachliche Beiträge durch willkürliches Entfernen zensiert. „Hartnäckig“, so Sturm, „hält sich das Gerücht, das wallstreet-online seine unbezahlten Moderatoren bevorzugt in Kreisen geltungssüchtiger Möchtegernbörsianer rekrutiert. Indes, da sich diese Zeitgenossen hinter ihrem Pseudonym verstecken, ist das vermutlich nur schwer nachprüfbar.“ Schwerer dürfte da schon wiegen, dass wallstreet-online offensichtlich auch seine eigenen Statistiken manipuliert: So fiel urplötzlich das Bougainville Copper Forum aus den Ranglisten der meistgelesenen und meistdiskutierten Threads heraus. Aber gerade an diesen orientieren sich gewiefte Anleger gerne, wenn sie sich auf die Suche nach zukünftigen Highflyern machen. Eine Zensur wäre da fatal. Dass Kriege, selbst Kleinkriege, nicht kursförderlich sind, dürfte der Vorstand der in der Berliner Bouchierstrasse beheimateten Aktiengesellschaft, schon jetzt am eigenen Leibe verspüren: Ganz gegen den allgemeinen Börsentrend stürzt die wallstreet-online Aktie (WKN 550714) seit gut zwei Monaten immer weiter ab: Von 7,16 € Ende Februar auf 4,47 € Mitte Mai 2007. „Wenn das so weiter geht“, schmunzelt Bougainville-Copper-Shareholder Axel G. In an article published in the Homeland Security Daily Wire, the Chinese Minister of Public Security, Mr. Zhou Yongkang, was quoted to say that "terrorism poses the biggest threat to the holding of a successful Beijing Olympic games." Minister Yongkang asked on Monday for closer international collaboration on information sharing and risk analysis. "Although the general security situation for the Beijing Olympics remains stable, we still face the challenges of terrorism, separatism, and extremism," he added. He spoke at the International Conference on Security Cooperation for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, which is attended by more than 140 representatives from 32 countries and regions, and international organizations such as Interpol and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

UDTT's 5-agent bioterrorism detection kits have been extensively used by first responders and private industry throughout the country. Testing of the kits by the U.S. DOD as well as the United Kingdom military, show that the kits show no cross-reactivity with near neighbor species and no false positives with commonly encountered "white powders". The kits will be optimally used to test suspicious powders in any of the numerous Olympics venues.

On July 25, 2008, Universal Detection Technology, a California
corporation (the "Company"), filed a Certificate of Amendment to its Articles of
Incorporation (the "Amendment") with the Secretary of State of the State of
California after stockholders approved to effect a reverse stock split of the
Common Stock of the Company in the ratio of two-hundred for one (200:1). As a
result of the reverse stock split, the Company's issued and outstanding Common

To effect the reverse stock split on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin
Board ("OTCBB"), the Company's Common Stock was assigned a new trading symbol.
Effective at the opening of business on Monday, July 28, 2008, the Company's new
trading symbol on the OTCBB will be UNDT.

With respect to any series of Preferred Stock that is established by the Board of Directors, the Board is authorized to increase or decrease (but not below the number of shares of such series then outstanding) the number of shares of such series subsequent to the issue of shares of that series. In case the number of shares of any series shall be so decreased, the shares constituting such decrease shall resume the status which they had prior to the adoption of the resolution originally fixing the number of shares of such series."

3. The foregoing amendment to the Articles of Incorporation has been duly approved by the Board of Directors.

4. The foregoing amendment of Articles of Incorporation has been duly approved by the required vote of shareholders in accordance with Section 902,California Corporations Code. It is unfortunate that we are living under the threat of terrorism and biological warfare. What's of greatest concern is the lack of proper preparation at various levels for dealing with a potential attack with these deadly agents. Consequently, we have intensified our efforts to address the growing need to protect our families and businesses.

As a result of these efforts, I am pleased to report the progress we have made in the past year. In conjunction with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), we have successfully completed the development phase of our BSM-2000 bacterial and anthrax spore monitoring and detection device. We are now establishing our domestic and international marketing and sales programs. The purpose of this communication is to provide you with an update of our recent efforts as well as our vision of the road ahead and our future plans.

Marketing of BSM-2000, UNDT's Anthrax Detection System

We launched a prototype of our BSM-2000, Anthrax Detection System in 2004 and have now produced a commercially available device. We are committed to further research for acquisition of new technologies and for enhancing the performance of BSM-2000. In order to market the device to the US Federal Government, in the past we have engaged in direct marketing as well as marketing through intermediaries to Federal and State Governments. While we have not sold any units of BSM-2000 in the US, we are in talks with third parties to collaborate on ways to market, sell, and distribute this technology internationally.

Increasing Threat of Bio-Terrorism

The risk of a large-scale biological attack on the Nation is significant. It is well known that terrorists have sought to use chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear weapons as instruments of their warfare, and that the capability is within their reach. A recent Government analysis indicates that anthrax is a likely choice of pathogen; and a successful single-city attack on an unprepared population could kill hundreds of thousands of citizens. A coordinated attack on multiple targets would come much closer in magnitude to our enemy's goal.

The Threat of an Airborne Anthrax Attack and Our Defense System

The threat of an aerosolized anthrax attack is the nation's number one bioterrorism concern, and it is that threat which should be vigorously planned for, and invested in, with the intent to defeat. The ramifications of such an attack include tremendous loss of life, economic costs, damage to critical infrastructure, and unprecedented environmental contamination. UNDT's technology is perfectly suited to fill the technology gap that exists in the nation's biodetection infrastructure. Current technologies in use are either cost-prohibitive for mass-deployment or hampered with inaccuracies and high false positive rates. UNDT's technology has been reviewed by government agencies and the conclusion has been that the BSM-2000 can rapidly and accurately detect harmful spores in the air at a fraction of the cost of systems based on DNA analysis.

Beijing Olympics

UNDT received separate contracts to provide radiological and biological detection instruments for use for site protection at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The radiological detection equipment will be used for search and identification of gamma and neutron radioactive materials. The instruments feature the capability to identify the detected isotopes and characterize categories from medical, industrial, natural occurring radioactive materials (NORM) and special nuclear materials (SNM). UNDT's biological detection equipment are designed to detect Anthrax, Ricin, Botulinum Toxin, Plague and SEB's in as little as 3 minutes. UNDT also received a contract to provide training equipment for the biological detection system. The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) is responsible for all aspects of security for the Olympics. BOCOG plans to deploy 80,000 security personal for the Olympics.

The Threat of Ricin and Our Solution

Ricin is one of the most toxic and easily produced plant toxins. It has been used in the past as a bioterrorist weapon and remains a serious threat as seen in the March 2008 incident in Las Vegas. If injected, as little as 500 micrograms of ricin could be enough to kill an adult; some animal research indicates that similar amounts could be lethal, if inhaled. UNDT's hand-held Ricin detection kit can detect Ricin powder on a surface or in a liquid in as little as 3 minutes. The kits have been used by law enforced and private security firms throughout the country.

CBRN (Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear)

By partnering with industry leaders in the CBRN detection field, UNDT has increased the range of products available to its users and customers. These products include state-of-the-art biological and radiological detection equipment. UNDT has generated sales from the marketing of these products.

Our Ongoing Dialogue With the US Department of Homeland Security

Through attending DHS sponsored conferences, and private meetings with DHS officials UNDT has increased the level of involvement with the DHS. Earlier this month, UNDT submitted an application for SAFETY Act Developmental Testing and Evaluation Designation (DT&E) with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Once granted the designation will afford both the company and its customers protection from any potential liabilities in the testing of its BSM-2000 System. UNDT is also in the process of submitting an Operational Requirements Document (ORD) to the DHS based on the department's recommendation. By submitting an ORD, a company becomes eligible to apply for a partnership with the Department of Homeland Security through the SECURE Program to develop products and/or services.

MRSA

In the past year we have also expanded our product base by offering products that can be used to eliminate Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA). The MRSA microbe, a strain of a once harmless staph bacterium that has become invulnerable to first-line antibiotics, is responsible for more than 94,000 serious infections and nearly 19,000 deaths each year. UNDT had received orders for its anti-MRSA products from hospitals, nursing homes, and private medical practitioners.

Stock Split and Symbol Change

Effective July 28, 2008, Universal Detection Technology undertook a 200:1 reverse stock split. As a result, there are now about 15 million shares of common stock of the Company outstanding. In conjunction with the split, the symbol on the OTCBB has changed to UNDT.OB.
