Drilling Commences on Ruddock Creek Zinc/Lead Project B.C.

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

July 17, 2007 - Vancouver, British Columbia -- Selkirk Metals Corp. ("Selkirk" or the "Company") is pleased to confirm that the surface diamond drilling program on the Ruddock Creek Property is now underway. Previous exploration has resulted in the discovery of 12 zones of significant zinc and lead mineralization and the definition of the "Ruddock Creek Sulphide System" with an east--west extent in excess of 5.4 kilometers. The objective of the 2007 drill program is to confirm continuity of the mineralized horizon along strike between the showings, and at depth.

      Q, R, V, U Showings Exploration Program:

The first drill will arrive on site on July 16, 2007 to commence drilling at the Q showing. Together the Q, R, V, and U showings define a 2.4 kilometer strike extent of the western end of the Ruddock Creek sulphide horizon, near the headwaters of Oliver Creek. Surface exposures are limited in this area but previous work has shown the sulphide horizon to be continuous between the Q and the V showings, a horizontal distance of 1,000 meters. Further to the east, the U showing consists of over 600 meters of discontinuous exposures of massive sulphide mineralization. At surface, the mineralization appears to be dipping gently north into the hillside.

Previous exploration by Falconbridge Limited and Cominco Limited on the Q, R, V, and U showings included surface mapping, sampling, and shallow drilling which resulted in the discovery of massive sulphide mineralization in all holes, over widths from two (2) metres to more than 14 metres. With the delineation of a sufficient tonnage of massive sulphide any one of these zones, a new target for development would be identified. The following table summarizes the significant drill results from the previous exploration of these zones:

      Underground Exploration Program:

Construction of an access road to Light Lake commenced in July of 2006 and will continue in 2007. This road will be extended an additional two (2) kilometers to provide access to the portal location where Selkirk plans to initiate underground development this summer with the collaring of an exploration decline. The decline will be approximately one (1) kilometer in length and driven at a minus 15% grade. The decline will intersect the E Zone at the deepest and most westerly defined point, where it has been intersected by drill holes RD-05-113 (which intersected 14.05 metres averaging 15.79% Zinc and 3.33% Lead) and RD-06-152, ( which intersected 22.6 meters averaging 11.70% zinc and 2.27% lead) . Upon completion of the decline, cross cuts will be developed to the east and west to allow for the necessary delineation and engineering drilling. Approximately 10,000 metres of underground diamond drilling is planned.

The baseline environmental studies required for project advancement and permitting were initiated in the spring of 2006 and will continue. This has entailed the establishment of a permanent weather station, detailed systematic water quality studies covering all local drainages, as well as wildlife and fisheries studies and surveys.

The Ruddock Creek Property is located 100 km north-northwest of Revelstoke in the Kamloops and Revelstoke Mining Divisions, British Columbia (the "Property"). In 2006, Selkirk completed 14,740 metres of diamond drilling in 48 holes, mainly focused on defining and extending the E Zone. Exploration on the Ruddock Creek Property is being conducted under the supervision of the Company's Qualified Person (as defined by NI 43-101), Jim Chapman, P.Geo. All samples will be analysed by Acme Analytical Laboratories in Vancouver utilizing the Group 7AR methodology.

Selkirk, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Selkirk Metals Holdings Corp., holds an undivided 70% interest in the Ruddock Creek Property under the terms of a joint venture agreement with Doublestar Resources Ltd. ("Doublestar" TSX.V:DSR) who hold the remaining 30%. Selkirk is the Operator of the Ruddock Creek Joint Venture. The merger between Selkirk and Doublestar announced March 1, 2007 has been approved by the Doublestar shareholders, and when finalized will result in Selkirk holding a 100% interest in the Ruddock Creek Property.

"As has been previously reported, exploration over the remainder of the Property has identified an additional 12 zones of mineralization all within this SEDEX basin. The relationship of the peripheral occurrences to the E-Zone has not been established, however the similarities of style and grade of mineralization indicate that they likely belong to the same sulphide horizon. All of the other massive sulphide zones occur along the edges of the basin and serves to indicate continuity of the mineralization along the 5 kilometre length. Previous exploration of these zones by various companies has included surface mapping, sampling and shallow drilling, resulting in the discovery of massive sulphide mineralization in all zones over widths from 2 metres to over 14 metres. With the delineation of sufficient tonnage, any one of these zones could become a new target for development. "

With zinc and lead prices not being too far away from record
highs and with Selkirk Metals Corp. having one of the
biggest exploration/development budgets in Canada for the
coming summer and year, Selkirk Metals looks like it’s going
to be a story to follow. We are with Jim Miller-Tait, Vice
President in charge of exploration for Selkirk.
Dave: I guess Jim, the first thing that comes to mind is the
old saying that “Mines are Made”…They are not found.
This story has 30 years of history.

Jim: That’s right. This property has been known since
Falconbridge discovered it in 1963 and then they found
Kidd Creek and they went to build that mine. Cominco optioned
the property in the 1970’s and then they discovered
the Polaris Deposit and they went to build that mine. So
this really fell by the wayside from all the majors and then
the opportunity came for us to come in and explore it.

Dave: You are obviously using the old buy cheap routine…
when the NDP were in, you grabbed this property dirtcheap.
Those poor majors!! What are they going to think?

Jim: They can always come back for a lot more money!
Dave: If you could go over the history of exploration for
the last two or three years…

Jim: In 2004 we came in and did about 5000 meters of drilling,
exploring the known zones up to where there is a fault.
In 2005, we came back and gambled with the deep holes
(800 to 900 meters) to hit the deep target and intersecting
19% zinc/lead over 14 meters. So that was the real story of
      discovering the deep offset block.
In 2006, we came back in and completed a major drill program
of around 15,000 meters, traced the zone for about
1200 meters in length, 400 metres in width and thicknesses
ranging from five to 20 metres.

We also discovered the new Creek Zone 1,000 meters
west of our closest drilling which is identical to the EZone
and intersected it in all 10 drill holes.

Dave: So the question now, you have almost 1000 meters
of strike and the thought is that you might have 5000
      meters.

Jim: We traced the zone on surface using the historical
drilling and mapping for a total length of 5 ½ kilometers.
We will be exploring the relatively untested remaining 4
½ kilometers with two drills this summer.

Dave: Now at this point, what kind of resource do you
      think you can have?

Jim: Historically they estimated between three and four
million tons in the upper zone. That’s where we drilled
off the shallow E-Zone. But now we have basically two
and a half times that. Because of tight regulations on ore
resource estimates, you can only include so far from
each drill hole so we are going underground this year to
      complete a detailed drilling pattern.

Dave: Now this is pretty good rock. It’s worth a fair
chunk of bills given current commodity prices.

Jim: Yes. It’s very high grade. We’ve done metallurgical
work as well and it is very positive. Even the Dense Media
Separation worked extremely well. There are insignificant
if any “nasties” in the concentrates so it will be a
very high grade and valuable concentrate.

Dave: When you mention nasty, for the average person,
that’s mercury, selenium, cadmium etc. What’s wrong
      with that stuff?

Jim: The company gets penalized when it gets to the
smelters. So the smelters will penalize you for whatever
nasty element you have in the concentrate.

Dave: When you bring up the topic of smelters, this is
very interesting because right now Teck Cominco has
their huge smelter at Trail, they need feed, don’t they?

Jim: Exactly. It’s a land locked smelter that’s just down
the highway or railway which is only 30 kilometers away
from the property. Once it’s on rail it can go anywhere in
      the world very cheaply.

Dave: You are saying this is rich ore, but how rich? How
much is it worth these days?

Jim: Using a conservative price of US$1.50/lb zinc and $0.75/lb lead and a grade of 10% zinc and 2% lead, which is
common on the Ruddock Creek Property, the value per tonne in US dollars is about $360.00 per tonne.

Dave: Now you’ve mentioned that there has already been lots of interest in the property…

Jim: Oh yes. All the majors have been in to look at it and are all fully aware of what we are doing.

Dave: Now what do you see for zinc/lead prices down the road?

Jim: Zinc is always the lagging one of the base metals and is starting to catch up with the other metals that have
      already reached their higher levels.

Dave: There are not too many new zinc mines around the world at all, is there?

Jim: There’s not any new real big ones.

Dave: Can you see zinc prices at this level for the next 10 years or what would be your prediction?

Jim: A more conservative price of US $1-1.50 is more realistic which is still excellent for this project.

Dave: The question we usually end with, if you had to pick a stock other than your own or one that you don’t have
any conflicts of interest with, what would it be? And we need a double, of course!

Jim: How about Imperial Metals with the strong metal prices, production and the new acquisition of BC Metals.

      Dave: Thanks Jim!

Selkirk Metals is pleased to confirm that the second surface diamond drill is now operational and it is expected that the third drill will soon also be operating on the Ruddock Creek Property, B.C. In addition, the access road to the portal and main camp locations has now been constructed to allow for mobilization of the mining equipment to collar the portal and begin development of the decline.

Selkirk has completed over 20,000 metres of diamond drilling and extensive surface exploration on the Ruddock Creek Property since 2004. The Company has focused most of this exploration towards defining the E-Zone, which represents the eastern kilometer of the 5.5 kilometre "Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon". Drilling to date has confirmed that the zinc/lead bearing massive sulphide mineralization at the E Zone consists of a planar sheet, which dips to the northwest at 45 degrees and plunges to the west at approximately 40 degrees. The most westerly drill holes to date plot approximately 1.1 km west of the surface outcrop of the mineralization. The massive sulphide horizon remains open down dip to the west. Detailed drilling at the eastern end of the E Zone has shown the mineralized body to be up to 400 m wide and varying in thickness from less than 5 m to over 35 m.

The E-Zone is one of 12 significant zones of zinc and lead bearing massive sulphide that serve to define the Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon. The 2007 surface exploration program, including 10,000 metres of diamond drilling will evaluate the resource potential of these other zones. The discovery, and subsequent expansion, in late 2006 of the Creek Zone has served to highlight the potential to define additional resources outside of the E-Zone. All of the first 10 holes drilled to test the Creek Zone in 2006 were successful in intersecting the target zinc/lead rich massive sulphide horizon. All zones that can be accessed will be tested during the 2007 drilling program.

The E-Zone has been defined along a length of over 1 kilometre and where drilled in detailed has a width of approximately 400 metres. Detailed drilling to date has also indicated that the zone is commonly over 5 metres thick. In order to evaluate the resource potential of the E-Zone detailed drilling of the deeper portion of the zone is required. The only way to accomplish this task and proceed with engineering and a scoping study is to complete the proposed underground development and diamond drilling program. Selkirk has now agreed to contract this underground program to Procon Mining and Tunneling of Vancouver, one of Canada's most experienced underground mining contractors. With the completion of the access road, Procon will soon be on site to collar the decline and commence the underground development program.

"The commencement of surface drilling and the completion of the access road to the site of the portal of the decline are both important steps towards the completion of the major program we have planned for the Ruddock Creek Property. We are looking forward to the results from the surface drilling and the successful completion of the underground development program," stated Gordon Keevil President.

Exploration on the Ruddock Creek Property is being conducted under the supervision of the Company's Qualified Person (as defined by NI 43-101), Jim Chapman, P.Geo. As a result of the completion of the acquisition of Doublestar Resources Ltd., Selkirk now has an undivided 100% interest in the Ruddock Creek Property.

      COMPANY UPDATE
The Company also announces that it has received shareholder approval at its Meeting of Shareholders held on July 31, 2007, of its rolling stock option plan which sets the number of common shares which may be issued pursuant to options previously granted and those granted under the Plan to a maximum of 10% of the issued and outstanding common shares at the time of the grant, in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange"). The number of shares which may be reserved for issuance to any one individual may not exceed 5% of the issued shares on a yearly basis or 2% if the optionee is engaged in investor relations activities or is a consultant. The Stock Option Plan is subject to Exchange approval.

Selkirk held a 70% interest in Ruddock Creek under the terms of a JV agreement with Doublestar Resources holding the balance.

Drilling Intersects Q Zone at Depth and Expands the Creek Zone; Third Drill Commences Operations-Ruddock Creek Property

      Tuesday September 4

Selkirk Metals is pleased to announce that diamond drilling on the Ruddock Creek Property (the "Property") has confirmed the continuation down dip of the Q Zone and continues to expand the Creek Zone. The 2007 drilling has shown the Creek Zone mineralization continues in all directions from the area outlined by the 2006 drilling program. Two drills have been operating to date and the third diamond drill is set to commence operations. Drilling will continue to expand the area of massive sulphide mineralization known within the "Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon" ("Sulphide Horizon") over the known length of in excess of 5 kilometers. This will include drill testing the U Zone, the T-Zone, and the R-Zone and continuing to expand the Q and Creek Zones. Evaluation of the remainder of the massive sulphide zones through surface mapping and sampling will continue.

The confirmation and extension of the Q Zone is a very significant step in defining the potential of the Sulphide Horizon as this zone is located over 5 kilometers west of the E-Zone. The first drill hole completed to evaluate this Zone intersected 3.05 meters of mineralization with varying amounts of massive, semi-massive and disseminated sphalerite (Zn) and galena (Pb). These sulphides are similar in character to the surface showing and the mineralization throughout the Sulphide Horizon. The intersection is approximately 170 meters down dip from the surface showing. Further drilling will serve to extend and better define the attitude of the zone. Previous drill results from the Q Zone included hole Q-5, which intersected 14.5 meters assaying 10.5% Zinc and 1.17% Lead.

To date 9 holes have been completed on the Creek Zone all of which have intersected the zone confirming the down dip and along strike continuity in all directions. In addition several other mineralized intervals have been intersected above the Creek Zone containing typical Ruddock Creek sulphide mineralization. A new surface showing corresponding to one of these upper intervals was uncovered 200 meters northwest of the Creek Zone outcrop. This interval has been encountered in 3 holes to date. Drilling has intersected massive, semi-massive and disseminated sphalerite (Zn) and galena (Pb) similar in character to those intersected in the 2006 drilling program. Results from the 2006 program are included in the following table:

The Creek Zone forms part of a series of massive sulphide showings exposed at surface, which include the Lower and Upper T Zones. In total these zones, which exhibit similar characteristics, indicate a continuous sulphide horizon with a strike length of over 1 km. These dimensions are similar to the dimensions of the E-Zone that has been the focus of exploration on the Ruddock Creek Property to date. Diamond drilling will continue to expand the Creek Zone towards the T Zones to confirm the indicated continuity of the sulphide horizon.

Procon Mining and Tunneling Ltd. have mobilized their equipment and personnel to the Ruddock Creek Project and are in the process of collaring the portal in preparation for driving the 1,000 meter decline to undercut the deep E Zone mineralization.

Sampling of the drill core is being carried out on an ongoing basis and the results from the 2007 drilling program will be released as they are received and compiled by the Company. Exploration on the Ruddock Creek Property is being conducted under the supervision of the Company's Qualified Person (as defined by NI 43-101), Jim Chapman, P. Geo. As a result of the completion of the acquisition of Doublestar Resources Ltd., Selkirk now has an undivided 100% interest in the Ruddock Creek Property. The Ruddock Creek Property is located 100 km north-northwest of Revelstoke in the Kamloops and Revelstoke Mining Divisions, British Columbia.

Selkirk Metals is pleased to announce significant new intersections below the U Showings located 2.8km west of the E-Zone outcrop and 1.5km northwest of the Creek Zone outcrop at the Ruddock Creek Project, B.C. The showings are located in the central portion of the 5km long Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon.

Two holes have been completed to date and both have intersected very significant thicknesses of massive sulphide mineralization. Drill hole RD-07-U1 intersected numerous bands of sphalerite (zinc)-galena (lead) mineralization starting at a depth of 27m and continuing to 102.4m, with the widest interval of 15.4 meters from 87m to 102.4m. The most continuous massive sulphide intersections occurred between 87m to 90.8m (3.8m interval). The second hole, RD-07-U2, was drilled from the same pad to intersect the mineralization approximately 80m to the west. Semi massive and massive sulphides were encountered over a width of 9.7 meters from 102.1 and 111.8m and over a width of 7.3 meters from 124.4m and 131.7m. The intervening gap between these mineralized intervals is an intrusive pegmatite sill.

The mineralization is identical to the other zones of zinc-lead mineralization on the Ruddock Creek Property including the E-Zone. The mineralization consists of bands of semi to massive sulphides consisting of sphalerite (zinc), galena (lead), pyrrhotite and pyrite hosted by calc-silicates. Similar sulphide mineralization is also present between the massive sulphides in the form of disseminations and thin wispy bands. Photos of the core will be posted on the Company's website.

Drill holes RD-07-U1 and U2 have intersected the main sulphide horizon approximately 80m apart in an east-west direction. The ongoing diamond drill program will continue to test this horizon in all directions. The results from these holes indicate that the mineralized horizon is trending east-west and dipping to the north. This is consistent with the attitudes encountered in the E Zone and the Creek Zones. Diamond drilling and geological mapping have to date outlined the mineralization over a strike length of at least 280m in an east-west direction.

"This new discovery represents another significant step in our evaluation of the Ruddock Creek Property. It is the first such discovery within the western half of the Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon and clearly is a significant indication of the growth potential of the Property," stated Gordon Keevil, President.

Sampling of the drill core is being carried out on an ongoing basis and the results from the 2007 drilling program will be released as they are received and compiled by the Company. The Ruddock Creek Property is located 100 km north-northwest of Revelstoke in the Kamloops and Revelstoke Mining Divisions, British Columbia.

3.25 Meters of 23.78% Zinc and 3.85% Lead Confirms New Discovery Ruddock Creek Property, B.C.

      Wednesday September 19

Selkirk is pleased to provide this update on the newly defined sulphide horizons in the area of the U Showings. This Zone is located 2.8km west of the E-Zone outcrop and 1.5km northwest of the Creek Zone outcrop at the Ruddock Creek Project, B.C. The showings are located in the central portion of the 5km long Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon.

      Historical exploration by Falconbridge in the 1960's had located 3 surface showings along an east - west trend covering 400m. These showings reflect the surface expression of the multiple mineralized horizons encountered in the 2007 drilling. Five holes (RD-07-U1 to U5) have been completed to date from one drill pad located near the middle of that historical trend, and all have intersected massive sulphide mineralization, with the lowest horizon being the thickest. To date only partial results are available for RD-07-U1, which are summarized in the table below;

      HOLE NUMBER FROM (m) TO (m) INTERVAL (m) ZINC% LEAD%
      ---------------------------------------------------------------------
      U Zone
      ---------------------------------------------------------------------
      RD-07-U1 86.95 101.06 14.11 7.59 1.34
      ---------------------------------------------------------------------
      Including 86.95 90.20 3.25 23.78 3.85
      ---------------------------------------------------------------------

The recently completed holes have traced the main sulphide horizon over an east - west distance of 150m between holes RD-07-U2 and U5. These intercepts start 200m east of the lowest, and westernmost, of the surface outcrops. Drill intercepts indicate the main sulphide horizon trends east - west and appears to dip at approximately 45 degrees to the north. This is consistent with the attitudes encountered in the E Zone and the Creek Zones.

From the surface outcrops to the intersection in the easternmost hole, (RD-07-U5), now covers a total strike length of 350m, and the Zone remains open to the east. Recent surface mapping and sampling on a cliff face 250m to the west of, and along strike from, the surface outcrops has located additional previously unknown massive sulphide horizons. This defines a strike length of in excess of 600m for the U Zone at this time, and it remains open in all directions. Drilling is continuing to define the up and down dip extent of the sulphide horizons. Reconnaissance traverses have indicated that the new showings are on trend to connect with the V Showings an additional 600m further west for a potential strike length of 1.2 kilometers.

Massive sulphide bands range from 20cm to 4.5m in thickness, within mineralized intervals of up to 15m in thickness. The sulphide are generally fine to medium grained and are very similar in style and grade to those sulphides encountered at the E Zone and Creek Zone.

Sampling of the drill core is being carried out on an ongoing basis and the results from the 2007 drilling program will be released as they are received and compiled by the Company. Exploration on the Ruddock Creek Property is being conducted under the supervision of the Company's Qualified Person (as defined by NI 43-101), Jim Chapman, P.Geo. Selkirk is pleased to announce a nonbrokered private placement (the “Offering”) to raise up to $10,010,000 by the issuance of up to 7,700,000 flow-through units (“FT Units”) priced at $1.30 per FT Unit. Each FT Unit will consist of one flowthrough common share and one half of one transferable common share purchase warrant, each whole such purchase warrant will be exercisable into one additional common share of the Company for a period of eighteen months from closing of the Offering at an exercise price of $1.60 per common share.

Selkirk will pay a Finder’s fee equal to 5% of the gross proceeds raised by the Finder, payable in a combination of cash or shares, at the election of the Finder. The Company anticipates that there may be insider participation in the above private placement, for which the Finder will not receive a commission.

The gross proceeds raised from the issuance of the FT Units will be used for general exploration expenditures, which will constitute Canadian exploration expenses (as defined in the Income Tax Act) and will be renounced for the 2007 taxation year. Selkirk expects to use such proceeds for the exploration and on-going development of the Company’s Ruddock Creek Property.

Selkirk Metals is pleased to announce the first set of results from the 2007 drill program on the Creek Zone. The Creek Zone forms part of a series of massive sulphide showings exposed at surface, which include the Lower and Upper T Zones. In total these zones, which exhibit similar characteristics, indicate a continuous sulphide horizon with a strike length of over 1 kilometer and a down dip depth potential of at least 500 meters.
To date, the results from the initial four holes from the Creek Zone drill program have been received. The following table summarizes the significant results from these holes:

The 2007 drill program on the Creek Zone consists of wide spaced drill holes, with intercepts approximately 80 meters apart, in order to significantly extend the area of mineralization. The results to date are very encouraging as they confirm the continuity and excellent grade of the Creek Zone. The Creek Zone is approximately 1.5 kilometers east of the E-Zone and can be accessed from the planned underground development.

Previous drilling on the Creek Zone in 2006 was designed to extend the zone of massive sulphide mineralization that was identified at surface. Ten holes were completed in a 100m by 100m area, all of which encountered the mineralized horizon. The following table summarized the significant results from the 2006 drill program on the Creek Zone:

Drilling on the Creek Zone has shown the mineralization encountered in this area to have the same style and character as the E Zone. Previous work has defined the E Zone mineralization as an extensive sheet of base metal rich massive to disseminated sulphide mineralization, covering an area at least 1100m long by 400m in width and up to 30m in thickness. It is uncertain at this time whether the Creek Zone is a continuation of the E Zone, or a separate mineralized horizon. The similarities are such that the 2007 drill program was intended to indicate the potential extent of the horizon and not to drill the Zone in detail. At this time, the Creek Zone remains open at depth in all directions.

Of particular interest is the presence of multiple mineralized horizons in the northern portion of the Creek Zone, with the main horizon being present in all but one of the holes drilled. The base metal rich sulphide mineralization ranges up to 14.2m in thickness, and up to four discrete horizons are locally present. The presence of multiple mineralized zones within the stratigraphy is similar to that encountered in the recent drilling at the U Zone, which is located a further 1.2kms west of the Creek Zone along the "Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon". Attitudes and elevation of the mineralization within these two zones indicates that they may form part of a continuous horizon that will be confirmed by ongoing diamond drilling as exploration of the Ruddock Creek Property continues.

Selkirk Metals Corp.: 7.70 Meters of 21.48% Zinc and 2.5% Lead in U Zone, Ruddock Creek Property, B.C.

      October 30

Selkirk Metals is pleased to provide this update on the newly defined sulphide horizons in the area of the U Showings. This Zone is located 2.8km west of the E-Zone outcrop and 1.5km northwest of the Creek Zone outcrop at the Ruddock Creek Project, B.C. The showings are located in the central portion of the 5km long Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon as shown on the Overview Figure on the Company's website, www.selkirkmetals.com.
      Eight holes (RD-07-U1 to U8) were completed on the U Zone during 2007, with seven holes from a pad between the central and easternmost outcrops and a single hole (RD-07-U8) from a location 300m to the north. To date, only partial results are available for RD-07-U2, which are summarized in the table below, along with complete results for RD-07-U1;

The thick high grade section reported in RD-07-U2 correlates with the high grade zone in RD-07-U1, from a stratigraphic and compositional perspective. These two intercepts also align with the lowermost of the Falconbridge showings indicating an easterly striking zone with a northerly dip. These intervals also appear to correlate with the new showing further to the west. Two chip samples covering a vertical distance of 7.5m have been collected from the new showing and have been submitted for analyses.

Massive sulphide bands range from 20cm to 4.5m in thickness, within mineralized intervals of up to 15m in thickness. The sulphides are generally fine to medium grained and are very similar in style and grade to those sulphides encountered at the E Zone and Creek Zone.

Historical exploration by Falconbridge in the 1960's had located 3 surface showings along an east - west trend covering 500m. Channel sampling was carried out in 2007 over two of the three Falconbridge showings that make up the U Zone. Falconbridge also completed 3 shallow holes on one of these outcrops to test the near surface mineralization. The Selkirk channel sampling was completed utilizing a portable diamond saw so that the samples are continuous across the surface of the outcrop. Samples were collected from the vicinity of holes U-62-1, 2 and 3 on the central showing, and from the easternmost outcrop. These mineralized horizons correlate with the upper sulphide horizons in drill hole RD-07-U1, which is located approximately 60 meters to the east. The following table contains the lengths, results and locations of the U Zone sampling.

Prospecting in the area of the known U showings has resulted in the discovery of a new sulphide bearing horizon 250m to the west. The four outcrops that now outline the U Zone at surface cover a distance of 750m along a west southwest trend toward the V Showings. These showings reflect the surface expression of the multiple mineralized horizons encountered in the 2007 drilling. Heavy timber and talus cover is present over the intervening 600m between the V and the west end of the U showings. The V showings are in turn at the eastern end of a 1000m long series of mineralized exposures known as the V, R, and Q showings.

Sampling of the drill core has been completed and all samples have been delivered to Acme Labs in Vancouver for analysis. The analytical procedure utilized was the Group 7AR 23 multi-element assay by ICP-AES methods. Results from the 2007 drilling program will be released as they are received and compiled by the Company. Exploration on the Ruddock Creek Property is being conducted under the supervision of the Company's Qualified Person (as defined by NI 43-101), Jim Chapman, P.Geo. Selkirk has an undivided 100% interest in the Ruddock Creek Property.

Selkirk is pleased to announce additional diamond drilling results from the Creek Zone and Q Zone. The Creek Zone is located immediately east of the E-Zone and the Q Zone is the most westerly zone in the Oliver Creek Valley. These two Zones combine with ten other zones of high grade Zinc-Lead mineralization to form the 5.5km long Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon. This horizon is a near continuous zone of massive to semi massive sulphide mineralization as shown on the Overview Figure on the Company's website, www.selkirkmetals.com.

      Creek Zone Drill Results

The Creek Zone forms part of a series of massive sulphide showings exposed at surface, which include the Lower and Upper T Zones. In total these zones, which exhibit similar characteristics, indicate a continuous sulphide horizon with a strike length of over 1 kilometer and a down dip depth potential of at least 600 meters. Previous drill programs have shown the mineralized horizons at Ruddock Creek to be continuous and predictable, irrespective of the thickness of sulphides encountered in individual holes.

The 2007 drill program was designed to confirm the continuity of the Creek Zone laterally and at depth. To achieve this goal in the limited time available for surface drilling in this area, the program consisted of a series of widely spaced holes with an average spacing of greater than 80m. The results to date are extremely encouraging as they confirm the continuity of the Creek Zone, which was intersected in all but one hole. The expanded Creek Zone sulphide horizon now covers an area of 500m by 600m and remains open in all directions. The Zone is immediately east of the E-Zone where underground development for resource definition drilling and engineering is now underway.

The following table contains the latest results from the Creek Zone.

Drilling in 2006 was designed to evaluate the potential of the massive sulphide mineralization identified at surface as the Creek Zone showing. Of particular interest is the discovery of multiple mineralized horizons in the northern portion of the Creek Zone, with the main horizon being present in all but one of the holes drilled. The zinc-lead rich sulphide mineralization ranges up to 14.2m in thickness, and up to four discrete horizons are locally present. The presence of multiple mineralized zones within the stratigraphy is similar to that encountered in the U Zone, which is located a further 1.2km west of the Creek Zone along the "Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon". Attitudes and elevation of the mineralization within these two zones indicates that they may form part of a continuous horizon that will be confirmed by ongoing diamond drilling as exploration of the Ruddock Creek Property continues. The presence of multiple horizons within the Creek and U zone areas may indicate proximity to the original source area of the sulphide bearing solutions.

The similarities are such that the 2007 drill program was intended to indicate the potential extent of the horizon and not to drill the area in detail. At this time, the Creek Zone remains open at depth in all directions. In order to define the resource potential and in turn plan for further development of the Creek Zone close spaced definition drilling either from surface of underground will be required. This will allow for the delineation of thicker lenses of mineralization that will be the focus during initial development.

6.18% Zinc and 1.36% Lead over 5.32 meters Extends Q Zone

The Q Zone, which is located in the Oliver Creek Valley, is the most westerly of the known zones along the Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon, being approximately 4 kilometers to the west of the E-Zone and 2 kilometers west of the newly discovered U Zone. Due to limited drill site locations, only very wide spaced drilling was possible. Furthermore very difficult drilling conditions limited the effectiveness of the drill program with 2 of 5 holes being abandoned. Of those completed, drill hole RD-Q-2 intersected the Zone approximately 170 meters down dip from the surface showing. The intercept assayed 6.18% Zinc and 1.36% Lead over a width of 5.32 meters. This long down dip extension has served to confirm that the Q Zone is a substantial target warranting further drilling. Once the final results of the 2007 surface exploration program have been received a follow up drill program will be planned to test this section of the Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon that is thought to include the newly discovered U Zone, the V Zone and the Q Zone.

Selkirk Metals Corp.: 14.76% Zinc, 2.63% Lead Over 7.5 Metres Extends the U Zone Along Strike; Ruddock Creek Property, B.C.

      Wednesday November 21

Selkirk Metals is pleased to announce the results of additional channel sampling conducted west of the U Zone. The U Zone is located 2,100 metres west of the deepest drilling of the E-Zone, approximately halfway along the 5.5km long Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon. This Horizon is a near continuous zone of zinc-lead bearing massive to semi massive sulphide mineralization and is illustrated on the Overview Figure on the Company's website, www.selkirkmetals.com.

This newly discovered section of the Ruddock Creek Sulphide horizon was found during the detailed surface geological mapping that accompanied the drilling carried out this past summer at the U Zone. The discovery is 500 metres west of the U Zone diamond drilling. The true thickness weighted average of the sampling is:

14.76% zinc and 2.63% lead over 7.5 metres.

The significant results received to date from the drill holes completed this season in the U Zone are tabulated below:

The semi to massive sulphide mineralization that was channel sampled consists of medium to coarse grained sphalerite and galena with accessory pyrrhotite and pyrite. This mineralization appears to be on the same stratigraphic horizon as the V Zone mineralization which is located another 500 metres to the west. Most of the area to the V Zone is covered by talus but the entire 1,000 metres of the Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon between the U and V Zones, including the area of channel sampling, can be easily tested by diamond drilling during the next surface exploration program.

The Company is extremely pleased with this new discovery as it illustrates that additional discoveries can be made by simple detailed geological mapping and prospecting. Exploration on the Ruddock Creek Property is being conducted under the supervision of the Company's Qualified Person (as defined by NI 43-101), Jim Chapman, P.Geo. Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd. was engaged to carry out the analytical work on all samples. The analytical procedure utilized was the Group 7AR 23 multi-element assay by ICP-AES methods. The Ruddock Creek Property is located 100 km north-northwest of Revelstoke in the Kamloops and Revelstoke Mining Divisions, British Columbia.

Selkirk Metals is pleased to provide this update regarding the underground development and infrastructure construction at the Ruddock Creek Project, B.C.

The underground decline is progressing as designed. The contractor, Procon Mining and Tunnelling Ltd. ("Procon"), is well established with all of the necessary infrastructure for continuous 24 hour, seven day a week, year-round underground operations. Their infrastructure includes office, shop, generators, compressors, underground and surface fleet of equipment and all associated support and personnel to drive the -15% decline for approximately 1,000 metres, to undercut the deepest drill intersections of the E Zone. The decline and associated lateral cross cuts will provide diamond drill stations from which to complete the exploration and definition drilling required to expand the E Zone to the west and to allow for the calculation of an overall resource within the E Zone to the depth defined to date.

The decline will intersect the E Zone where the diamond drill holes tabulated below intersected the mineralization:

The portal has been collared and 120 metres of ramp, safety bays, re-muck stations and related underground development have been completed. As Procon gains experience with this location, production will continue to accelerate with the first round of underground diamond drilling scheduled to commence in early March 2008.

The Company is also pleased to confirm that the 40 man camp required for continuous year-round operations has been installed at Light Lake. This location is 1,200m from the portal site which is connected by the newly constructed access road that was built at haulage grades. The camp will be used by the underground mining and diamond drilling contractors as well as the Company's engineering and geological staff. To ensure that operations will continue throughout the winter, an experienced staff has been assembled to oversee all critical areas and all facilities have been located and constructed accordingly.

The Company is pleased that the Ruddock Creek Project has developed into a year round exploration and development that is expected to continue into operations as the Project expands. Operations on the Ruddock Creek Property are being conducted under the supervision of the Company's Qualified Persons (as defined by NI 43-101), Jim Miller-Tait, P.Geo, Vice President of Exploration and Tom Colbourne, P.Eng., Vice President of Mining. The Ruddock Creek Property is located 100 km north-northwest of Revelstoke in the Kamloops and Revelstoke Mining Divisions, British Columbia.

Selkirk is also pleased to announce that the recently completed video presentation on the Ruddock Creek Project is now available for viewing on the Company's website.

Selkirk testwork at Ruddock indicates use of flotation

      2007-12-06 08:08 ET - News Release

      Mr. Gordon Keevil reports

SELKIRK METALS CORP.: EXCELLENT METALLURGICAL RESULTS ENHANCES THE POTENTIAL OF RUDDOCK CREEK PROJECT

Selkirk Metals Corp. has provided a summary of the excellent results from the initial metallurgical testing of the Ruddock Creek project mineralization. SGS Mineral Services located in Lakefield, Ont., completed the metallurgical testwork.

The sulphide composition of the Ruddock Creek project in descending order of quantity is sphalerite, pyrrhotite, pyrite, galena and chalcopyrite. The metallurgical samples were separated into three areas for testing, the E zone, Deep E zone and the Creek zone.

In summary the following results were obtained:

The specific gravity of the three mineralized zones averaged 2.97 grams per cubic centimetre.
The Bond Work Index ranged from 13.7 to 14.1 kilowatt hours per short ton (using a 100-mesh (150 microns) closing size, which is an average value for a typical base metal deposit.
Heavy liquid separation (HLS) for preconcentration of sulphide-bearing rock separate from the barren gangue rocks at a minus-three-eighths-inch crush size at a specific gravity of 2.7 grams per cubic centimetre rejected 34 per cent of the barren mass with metal losses of only 1 per cent lead and 0.03 per cent of the zinc.
Release analyses indicated favourable liberation characteristics for galena especially sphalerite compared with the global SGS database for polymetallic ores. This indicates coarse primary and regrinding will yield positive metallurgy.
Heavy liquid preconcentration followed by flotation testing of the E zone yielded a recovery of 90.4 per cent to a concentrate grade of 63.2 per cent lead, and a zinc recovery of 86.1 per cent to a concentrate grade of 46.1 per cent zinc.
Flotation testing of the Deep E zone yielded a lead recovery of 94 per cent to a concentrate grade of 68.8 per cent lead and a zinc recovery of 94 per cent to a concentrate grade of 46.1 per cent. SGS states that with additional testing there is potential for zinc recoveries in the range of 90 per cent with a concentrate grade of approximately 50 per cent.
The silver content of the lead concentrate was 362 grams per tonne (g/t) which should provide a credit from the smelter.

These results indicate that a standard flotation process will produce excellent concentrates for sale to a smelter and indicates the potential of using the dense medium separation to reduce the mill capacity and increase the grade to the mill with this simple pretreatment process. This will reduce capital and operating costs and reduce the impact of the operation of the environment.

The company is now planning the next phase of testing which will include waste and ore humidity cell testing, tailings and waste rock classification, process water attributes, and several different types of tailings disposal systems.

The results from the metallurgical testing combined with the excellent ground conditions and rock quality of the ore indicate that the proposed Ruddock Creek development will be a minimal impact operation. This has encouraged the company to immediately commence the B.C. environmental assessment process and project permitting.

The Ruddock Creek project has now progressed into year-round operations that are expected to continue into mining operations as the project expands. Operations on the Ruddock Creek property are being conducted under the supervision of the company's qualified persons (as defined by National Instrument 43-101), Jim Miller-Tait, PGeo, vice-president of exploration, and Tom Colbourne, PEng, vice-president of mining. The Ruddock Creek property is located 100 kilometres north-northwest of Revelstoke in the Kamloops and Revelstoke mining divisions, British Columbia.

Selkirk Metals Corp.: Ruddock Creek Underground Development Program Advancing

Monday January 14, 7:00 am ET

Selkirk Metals is pleased to announce that underground mining is progressing as planned at the Ruddock Creek Property, located 100 km north-northwest of Revelstoke in the Kamloops and Revelstoke Mining Divisions, British Columbia.

Underground operations commenced in late September with the collaring of the portal and full 24 hour mining cycle on the decline starting at the end of November once the camp construction was completed. The decline has been advanced 200m from the collar of the portal, not including re-mucks, safety bays and water sumps. As expected based on the drilling and geological information, the ground conditions have been excellent. Procon Mining and Tunnelling Ltd. is continuing as the contractor on site with support from Selkirk personnel.

The decline will, at a projected length of 1000m, intersect the massive sulphide mineralization of the E-Zone at the deepest and most westerly point in the area of drill holes RD-05-113 and RD-06-152. Drill results are tabulated below:

      FROM TO INTERVAL ZINC LEAD
      HOLE NUMBER (m) (m) (m) % %
      -------------------------------------------------------------------
      E Zone
      -------------------------------------------------------------------
      RD-05-113 708.5 722.55 14.05 15.79 3.33
      -------------------------------------------------------------------

      -------------------------------------------------------------------
      RD-06-152 648.84 671.40 22.56 11.70 2.27
      -------------------------------------------------------------------

To date, over 30,000m of diamond drilling has defined a continuous zone of zinc-lead rich massive sulphide within the E-Zone along a length of over 1200m, widths of up to 400m and thicknesses of over 30m. As the Company has previously reported, the massive sulphide contains excellent grades of zinc and lead. The decline will allow for immediate access to the Zone at the western end for bulk metallurgical testing and by way of lateral development and underground diamond drilling extend the Zone to the west.

Diamond drilling from underground will commence as soon as the decline has reached a depth of approximately 800 meters. The initial drilling will focus on the area from the deep holes 113 and 152 up dip towards the near surface resource at the eastern end. This will provide the detailed information necessary to finalize a resource calculation of the entire E-Zone as defined to date and also commence the engineering and design necessary to complete a scoping and ultimately a feasibility study towards development of the deposit.

Once all the final results have been compiled from the 2007 surface diamond drilling program on the E-Zone, Selkirk plans to complete an updated resource calculation of the upper portion of the Zone where sufficient drilling has already been completed. This will allow for a reasonable estimation of the potential of the entire E-Zone to the depth defined.

In the summer of 2008, Selkirk will also continue surface exploration over the balance of the "Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon". As a result of previous exploration and the work of Selkirk over the past two years, this horizon appears to be a continuous zone of massive sulphide similar in mineralogy and grade as the E-Zone over a length of greater than five kilometers. As such, there is the geological environment present to host a much larger deposit of massive sulphide in this Horizon. Selkirk will strive to evaluate the overall potential of the Ruddock Creek Property as quickly and as comprehensively as possible as it moves towards potential development.

      Feb. 4, 2008

Selkirk Metals is pleased to announce the discovery of additional showings near the U Zone. The U Zone is located 2,100 m west of the deepest drilling of the E Zone, approximately halfway along the 5.5 km long Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon (RCSH). The RCSH is a near continuous zone of zinc-lead bearing massive to semi massive sulphide mineralization which has been traced through numerous surface exposures, and is illustrated on the Overview Figure on the Company's website, www.selkirkmetals.com.

A new mineralized occurrence was located late in the summer field season approximately 600 m down slope south of the U Zone. This is in an area which has no record of any previously known showings or mineralized float samples. The mineralization occurs on a cliff face well below the tree line in an area of a recent slide. Grab samples of massive sulphide mineralization were collected from the base of the cliff where an exposure of in situ massive sphalerite and galena was located.

The observed attitudes of the geologic units in this area are similar to the upper showings, so it is likely that it represents a different stratigraphic horizon than is exposed at the U Showings in the Cirque Valley. No systematic sampling was carried out in 2007, however the 2 grab samples returned 17.61% Zn, 6.41% Pb, 16.0 ppm Ag and 7.32% Zn, 0.03% Pb. Heavy tree cover in this area is likely responsible for this showing not having been located prior to this year. Additional mapping, sampling and prospecting will be carried out in this area early in the 2008 program in order to further define the attitude and extent of this mineralization. This lower showing displays a similar orientation and spatial relationship to the U Zone as the E Zone does to the overlying G and M Zones.

This new discovery adds significantly to the potential of the Property as it clearly indicates a new horizon of zinc-lead rich massive sulphides similar to the overlying U Zone, part of the RCSH that has been the focus of exploration to date. In 2008, Selkirk will focus on this new discovery as well as the new thicker zone of mineralization below the U Zone showings as it continues to build on the Resource now being developed within the E Zone to the east.

The underground development and drilling Program on the E Zone is continuing as planned with the anticipated commencement of underground diamond drilling in April when the decline reaches a depth of approximately 800 meters. The decline will continue beyond this point to a projected length of one kilometer where it will intersect the E Zone mineralization approximately 1200 meters down dip from where it outcrops at surface. The Ruddock Creek Project is now a year round operation that is expected to continue into mining operations as the Project develops.

Operations on the Ruddock Creek Property are being conducted under the supervision of the Company's Qualified Persons (as defined by NI 43-101), Jim Miller-Tait, P.Geo., Vice President of Exploration and Tom Colbourne, P.Eng., Vice President of Mining.

      Corporate Update

The Company is pleased to announce that Mr. Michael M. Sanderson has joined Selkirk as Project Manager responsible for the underground development portion of the Ruddock Creek Project.

Mr. Sanderson has over 25 years experience in mining operations and mine management of mining projects in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Colorado. Es ist numal so, daß gerade Explorer in der jüngsten Zeit überproportional abgestraft wurden. Irgendwann wird sich das auch wieder ändern. Viele Explorer könnten dabei auf der Strecke bleiben. Selkirk is pleased to provide this update of operations on the Ruddock Creek Property, located 100 km north-northwest of Revelstoke in the Kamloops and Revelstoke Mining Divisions, British Columbia.

Since the New Year, underground operations have been excellent with the ramp now over 350 meters in length. While the winter has been harsh in some areas of British Columbia, the snow pack at Ruddock Creek has not been a problem for operations or access. As previously announced, the current plan is to commence underground diamond drilling at or near the 800 meters mark of ramp advance. Initial drilling will focus on the up dip section of the Deep E-Zone to connect with the detailed drilling that has been completed from surface. Once the decline reaches the Deep E-Zone mineralization, at a length of approximately one kilometer, samples will be collected for bulk metallurgical testing. Delineation of the deeper portions of the deposit through drilling and additional underground development are planned.

As the underground program continues, Selkirk is also commissioning a second important set of metallurgical tests including tailings classification. These will be focused on environmental and geotechnical characteristics as a follow-up to the successful heavy liquid and floatation tests completed last year. The proposed tests will be used in the engineering study and in support of the Environmental Assessment process. Over the past two years, the Company has been collecting baseline data and related information for this Environmental Assessment and is now preparing the necessary initial documentation. To date, the results of the metallurgical testing have been very positive both from an operating and an environmental perspective. It is expected that the current program will simply augment the results obtained to date.

Management and staff are very pleased with the ongoing developments at the Ruddock Creek Project and remain committed to the completion of the initial scoping study late in 2008. As the summer approaches, Selkirk will also continue to explore, expand and evaluate the balance of the high grade zinc/lead massive sulphide mineralization that has been defined by several discoveries along the 5 kilometer long "Ruddock Creek Sulphide Horizon".

Selkirk Metals provides an update of activities for the Catface Copper Project, British Columbia. The diamond drill has now been mobilized to the Property and drill operations are underway. In addition, the first phase of water sampling under the direction of Knight Piesold Consulting has also been completed before any field operations were underway. The drilling program will consist of a minimum of 3,000 meters as well as metallurgical testing and ongoing recommended baseline environmental studies.

Following the finalization of the Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") between the Company and the Ahousaht First Nation ("Ahousaht"), Selkirk through its 97.4% owned subsidiary, Catface Copper Mines Limited ("Catface"), has continued to work closely with the leadership of Ahousaht to provide the level of communications and cooperation contemplated in the MOU and necessary to allow for successful ongoing operations. Catface is the current owner of related mineral claims and mining lease that have been in good standing with no interruption since 1960.

The MOU is specifically designed to allow for ongoing exploration of the Catface Copper Property, and represents a cooperative agreement between the Ahousaht and the Company. The MOU reflects the support of the leadership and members of the Ahousaht and the management of Selkirk. The first phase of operations will consist of a surface diamond drilling program using helicopter support, which will result in little or no surface disturbance. This drilling will add to the information on the deposit and will provide fresh samples of the Porphyry Copper mineralization that can be used for metallurgical and environmental testing. In addition to the drilling, sampling of surface waters, outcrop, historic drill core and waste rock, will be completed as part of the ongoing studies to determine the potential impacts of development. Based on nearly 40 years of records since the Catface Copper deposit was discovered in 1959, there is little evidence of serious drainage contamination in large part due to the low sulphide content of the deposit and the surrounding host rocks.

As with any mineral development project, the collection and compilation of information necessary to evaluate the potential for mine development is the first phase of a process of engineering, design, consultation and communication with interested and affected parties. While there have been some preliminary engineering studies completed in the past, they will serve as guidelines to the work that must be carried out in the future in support of any proposed mine development. Formal studies cannot be started until the completion of the data collection phase of the program, with the current drilling program being only one part. Selkirk will continue to work closely with the relevant regulatory agencies, the Ahousaht and the local communities to provide the related information as it becomes available.

The Catface Copper Property is owned 100% by Catface Copper Mines Limited which is owned 97.4% by Doublestar Resources Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Selkirk. The Property is located on Catface Mountain, on the West Coast of central Vancouver Island, BC. Exploration work is conducted under the supervision of the Company's Qualified Person and Vice President of Exploration, Jim Miller-Tait, P.Geo.

Selkirk Metals is pleased to provide this update of operations on the Ruddock Creek Property, located 100 km north-northwest of Revelstoke in the Kamloops and Revelstoke Mining Divisions, British Columbia.

On July 12th, the underground drilling contractors completed the first underground drill hole ever drilled at Ruddock successfully intersecting the deep E Zone exactly as predicted by the Company's technical staff. The first drill hole was designed to parallel the final stage of the decline in the east wall to where the ramp was projected to intersect the mineralization, which is now only 110 metres from the current location. The hole, which was drilled from the 650m station of the ramp, intersected the target sulphide mineralization identical to the E Zone consisting of sphalerite, galena and iron sulphides. The mineralization occurs as sections of disseminated, semi and massive sulphide over a width of 67.0m from a down hole depth of 325.0 to 392.0 metres. The most significant base metal mineralization over a width of 10m from 382.0 to 392.0m was in the hanging wall side, which matches the offsetting surface drill holes completed in previous years.

Over the past two months, the underground development has exceeded our scheduled projections and the ground conditions remain excellent. The decline is now at a depth of 890m with a cross cut planned parallel to the mineralization at a depth of 900m. The majority of the underground drilling will occur from this crosscut which will be parallel to the ore and 100m in the footwall. The underground mining contractors will drive the crosscut at the same time as continuing to drive the decline through the E Zone mineralization, which is projected to be intersected at 1,000m where it will cross through the Zone in the area of previously drilled surface holes tabulated below:

      FROM TO INTERVAL ZINC LEAD
      HOLE NUMBER (m) (m) (m) % %

      RD-06-152 648.84 671.40 22.56 11.70 2.27

"The progress at Ruddock Creek over the past two months has been exceptional in the rapid advancement of the underground development and the first ever intersection of the deep E Zone mineralization from underground exactly as projected in location and metal distribution. I would like to thank all staff, consultants, contractors and Procon Mining & Tunnelling Ltd. for the excellent work completed during this period," stated Gordon Keevil, President.
