...In terms of financing the company's ongoing operations, Bolero is sitting on C$3.5 million, having done a
placement late last year. In other words, Duncan said the company has no present need to go to the market
for financing. "We're sensitive to the share structure of the company, but we also see that we will soon have two NI43-101
compliant reports out this year, so I would expect the share price to be higher," he said. "We want to let the
drill bit tell the story before we go looking for any more money."...

      July 2007 Moly Letter

Molybdenum prices were on track to reach a two-year high but now appeared to have entered the summer doldrums. Although there are questions on the supply side – strikes in Mexico, Chile and Peru – and more questions about the supply from China after the imposition of some new tariffs, prices have drifted lower from last month.

Current molybdenum and ferromolybdenum pricing is shown in the tables below.

About a quarter of the world’s mined supply of molybdenum is under discussion with labour right now:

Mexico's mine union staged a 24-hour nationwide walkout over safety conditions and a long-running power struggle in the union and also plans a strike beginning July 16 at three Grupo Mexico facilities, including at La Caridad (about 5.5 million pounds of Mo produced in 2006). Last month, a similar strike threat roiled world copper markets but was withdrawn after the labour ministry ruled that union leader Napoleon Gomez, who currently resides in Canada, need not appear in Mexico to verify certain documents. Gomez was recently reinstated as union leader after being ousted by dissidents last year.

Contract workers at the Collahuasi mine, about 1,850km North of Santiago, Chile, plan to strike on July 9, having found an improved wage offer still too low. The mine is controlled by Xstrata Plc and Anglo American Plc, and produced about 7.5 million pounds Mo in 2006.

Also in Chile, the state-owned copper mining company, Codelco, restarted talks with striking subcontractors on July 4th. The subcontractors have been on strike since June 25th. Talks that now include a mediator have resulted in a plan to set-up two technical committees to study pay and productivity, and social benefits. Talks are ongoing.

Codelco's copper production has been cut at Radomiro Tomic, and at El Teniente. While no molybdenum is produced at the former, molybdenum concentrates are derived from the latter. The overall loss of molybdenum production, if any, has not been quantified. Codelco produced about 20.5 million pounds of molybdenum last year.

A strike at the Southern Copper operations in Peru was averted pending more talks, but things do not appear to be progressing well, and a new strike date has been set for next week. The Southern Copper Peru operations produced about 20.5 million pounds of molybdenum in 2006.

Assuming no significant strike losses and using the most recently published company results and government production statistics, 2007 mine production is indicated to be similar to that of 2006. Chile is running ahead of its (much-reduced) forecast, but Peru’s production was off a quarter in the January–May period.

China’s molybdenum exports are still in question. Early reports had 32 companies slated to receive export quotas, and now there seem to be just 18. The actual levels seem also to be under negotiation.

Unstated in all the public discussion about Chinese quotas is the overriding need to secure for Chinese mills like Baosteel, their largest steelmaker, and a rapidly growing user of molybdenum, a secure supply of lower-priced molybdenum in order to enable it to buy its way into foreign markets for finished product (like their new 2205 duplex stainless production, for example).

This is beyond any domestic military need – goes without saying.

Once their needs are covered, the western world will gain a better idea of what will be left over for export. However their success with export market penetration will not be a straight line on the chart.

That being said, based on what we know so far, 2007 seems like a year that will see the molybdenum supply deficit widen.

On the demand side, steel has been identified as a significant demand driver for molybdenum as more and more applications are calling for “engineered” steels containing small amounts of molybdenum. World crude steel production average growth rates are shown below. The recent structural change seen in steel is the single most powerful argument for optimism on molybdenum.

      Years Growth
      2005-06 9.0%
      2000-05 6.1%
      1995-00 2.3%
      1990-95 -0.5%
      1985-90 1.5%
      1980-85 0.1%
      1975-80 2.2%
      1970-75 1.6%

More recent studies of the growth in molybdenum demand show good correlation with the steel growth rates shown in this table. see chart below.

World crude steel production was 112.2 million tonnes in May, according to the International Iron and Steel Institute’s most recent statistics. This is a 6.4 percent increase on May 2006. For the first 5 months of 2007, the increase was 9.1 percent over 2006.

Molybdenum demand growth in the 6-percent per year range, which would be comparable to that experienced by steel in the 2000-2005 period, indicates an incremental additional molybdenum requirement of about 24 million pounds per year (based on a nominal 400 million pound per year market demand). This is about 6 million pounds a year above the 4.5 percent industry forecasts we sometimes see, and indicates a need for significant additional mine production.

When a calculation is made of demand growth going forward at 6 percent a year, even after including full allowance for recycled molybdenum-bearing materials from catalysts, stainless steels and non-ferrous alloy castings, one is struck with the conclusion that an extraordinary number of junior resource companies will have to be successful in reaching production, in order to avoid a restriction in molybdenum usage.

Some others must also be coming to this conclusion as a handful of analysts are starting to predict yet higher prices, and we’re seeing several countries, particularly in Asia, start to establish molybdenum stockpiles.

Even the United States, which is rich in molybdenum resources, has implicitly recognized the importance of future molybdenum supply; In this case, molybdenum-bearing alloys are now found on a government critical materials list, along with certain other military components and software.

      Pipelines

A major steel demand driver for molybdenum will be oil and gas pipelines. Europipe, the 50/50 joint venture between Dillinger Hutte and Salzgitter, which operates the world’s largest linepipe mill at Mulheim, Germany, a major innovator in the new X-120 pipeline steel, is forecasting a strong linepipe market until 2011, with another 165,000 km of linepipe to be laid. The company is itself investing in two more mills.

Alaska this month took the next step toward a natural gas pipeline from the North Slope by releasing a request for applications (RFA) to bring the state's natural gas to market. Publication of the document starts a process by which companies seeking exclusive rights to market the gas can win the licence. Applicants have until October 1 to submit proposals. All complete applications will then be released publicly for a 60-day review and comment period.

The pipe would move about 4.5 billion cubic feet per day from Prudhoe Bay across the Yukon to the Alberta border, and to the Lower 48 states – coming onstream around 2017.

Canadian crude oilsands operators planning to export crude oil to United States markets could face a capacity constraint as early as 2009, the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA) said in June.

In its recently-released report on crude oil forecast, markets and pipeline expansions, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) lists seven currently proposed oil pipeline extensions which will provide an additional 1.3 million bbls per day of capacity from Western Canada to the west coast of British Columbia, the United States Midwest and Ontario, between 2007 and July 2010.

TransCanada Corporation is working on three alternatives to deliver between 400,000 bbls per day and 600,000 bbls a day to the Gulf Coast from Cushing. It is seeking expressions of interest this year and depending on the results will conduct an open season in the first quarter of 2008 with a target completion date in the fourth quarter of 2012.

TEPPCO is proposing to build a 370,000 bbl per day line from Cushing to refineries from western Louisiana to Texas City, Texas. If its bid for non-binding commitments is successful, it could be in service by the third quarter of 2010.
Altex is proposing a direct heavy crude oil pipeline from either Fort McMurray or Hardisty, Alberta to Port Arthur, Texas with an initial capacity of 250,000 bbls of oil per day. A contract carrier with some capacity for spot shippers, it could be in service in 2011.

Kinder Morgan is also considering three possible routes to the Gulf Coast including a bullet line from Hardisty, an extension of the Express Pipeline and a line from Patoka, Illinois.

Both Enbridge with its Gateway project and Kinder Morgan with its Trans Mountain TMX northern leg are proposing 400,000 bbl per day pipelines to Kitimat, B.C., a deepwater port that can accommodate Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC). The 30-inch TMX line from Rearguard, B.C. could be in operation by early 2012 while Gateway from Edmonton to Kitimat has an anticipated in-service date of 2012-2014.

There also are a number of crude oil pipeline proposals in the United States for the 2007-2010 period which would increase the capacity for Western Canadian crude. They include a 30-inch greenfield line Enbridge is proposing from Chicago, Illinois to Lima, Ohio. The 450,000 bbl per day pipeline could be in service by mid-2010.

Post 2010, there are three pipeline proposals from Patoka, Illinois and Cushing, Oklahoma aimed at benefiting from the massive refinery capacity in the area - 7.6 million bbls per day including 2.4 million bbls a day of heavy capacity.

Enbridge and ExxonMobil are jointly developing a project from Patoka to the Beaumont and Houston, Texas areas. The 400,000 bbl per day Clydesdale line would have a start-up in late 2010.

The CAPP report said there also is a "significant" need for increased pipeline capacity beyond 2011 with a forecast requirement of another 1.9 million bbls per day by 2015 and more than 2.7 million bbls per day by 2020. It lists a number of projects which would transport Western Canadian crude to the U.S. Gulf Coast, to California and the west coast of B.C. for ocean shipment to Asia.

Existing, under construction, and planned North American pipelines are shown in the graphic below (Source: Oil and Gas Journal, July 2007)

      Missiles

Military applications for molybdenum are showing up everywhere, it seems: China is acquiring at least 10 types of ballistic missiles including the DF-31 and DF-31A intercontinental ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, tactical air-to-surface missiles and anti-radiation missiles, in an extraordinary buying spree that may challenge U.S. forces, according to recent testimony in a House Armed Services Committee hearing. China admits to military spending of less than $50 billion a year although U.S. estimates indicate the actual amount is 2-3 times that.

Molybdenum and molybdenum alloys in the form of uniform spherical or atomized particles of 500 x 10-6 m diameter or less with a purity of 97 percent or more are used for the fabrication of rocket motor components: heat shields, nozzle substrates, nozzle throats, and thrust vector control surfaces.

      The Scramjet

In June, it was announced that successes in three dozen tests run on the X-51A scramjet gained approval for a second engine required for a series of Mach 6-7 tests over the Pacific in 2009. This engine is designed to run in 300 second bursts and lift the vehicle (called the Waverider) from 62,000 to 100,000 feet.

Officials in the $240 million program have been quick to point out that this hypersonic propulsion system will use off-the-shelf components like the engine controller for the F-22, the TF-33 igniter from the C-141 cargo aircraft, standard JP-7 fuel, and Inconel 718 alloy (2.8-3.3% Mo) for the engine.

Opinions vary as to whether the first use of this technology will be in commercial flight, or a new super high-speed missile.

      Nuclear Power

Research continues into nuclear fuel at Brazil’s Centro do Combustivel Nuclear (CCN). The fuel production program began in the 1980s, spurred by the need to keep their reactor running in the face of US-led international restrictions imposed on nuclear materials. The first locally made fuel element was loaded into a reactor in 1988, and in 1997, following a capacity upgrade, new fuel was developed using a silicon-aluminum matrix (U3Si2Al), which increased burnup from 30 percent to 50%.

Further improvements are being made, according to reports in June, including the use of uranium-molybdenum alloys.

Also in the nuclear area, Baosteel, China’s largest producer, announced a specialty steel tube joint venture with Jiangsu Yinhuan Steel Tube Co. to produce steam generator condenser tubes for nuclear power plants. Grade 444 stainless steel is a typical ferritic stainless found in this application, and it contains 1.75-2.5% Mo. A typical Generation III reactor would contain two steam generators weighing about 730 tonnes each.

      Automotive Steels

Readers may have noticed how important the 5-star crash safety test (and, in Europe, the NCAP regulation) has become in automotive marketing. Ford, for example, runs one truck commercial that talks about the crash safety test rating only, comparing their crash test results to others without talking about horsepower, load carrying capacity, or anything else.

Apart from the airbags and seat-belt restraint systems, it is an advanced high-strength steel (AHSS) containing molybdenum that provides the primary safety “cell” of the auto. Relative to legacy steels, a greater percentage of this steel is being used every year.

Chinese cars, which have so-far failed to gain acceptance in North America, are absent for this reason: The most recent failure was that of the Brilliance B6 in June, which, after a 64 km per hour frontal crash was found to be “too soft”.

It seems only a matter of time before Chinese automakers adopt the new technology, creating additional demand for molybdenum in automotive steel.

      Drilling

A slowdown in Canadian gas drilling has pushed the drill rig count into negative territory for the first time this year. Molybdenum is found in some onshore drill steels and casing but more so in offshore materials where the drilling environment is more corrosive to standard carbon steels.

Offshore drilling is holding up well, as can be seen in the lower chart.

Cannivan Gulch mit 300 millionen tonnes of MOS2 kein NI43-101
Arcadia Gold mit ca. 186.000 Unzen Gold (These resource estimates were completed prior to 2001 and NI 43-101, have not been independently audited and should therefore not be relied upon.)

      450.000.000 Tonnen * 0.06% (geringem Gradanteil = 270.000 MT of Moly
      450.000.000 Tonnes * 0.07%(mit etwas höherem Anteil) = 315.000 MT of Moly
450.000.000 Tonnes * 0.08% (mit noch höherem Anteil) 360.000 MI

      Umwandlung von MT in lbs(Pfund)
      270.000 * 2204,622 = 595.240.940,00 lbs

erfasst.
Butte Liegenschaft. Die Hälfte jedes Kernabschnitts wird zur Analyse
an ALS Chemex Laboratories verschickt. Am 11. Juli 2007 verschickte

      Vorangegangene Arbeiten in Bald Butte:

150 Millionen Pounds (ca. 68 t) Molybdän (250 Millionen Pounds (ca.
113 t) MoS2), wie bereits in den Pressemitteilungen vom 14. Dezember
2006, vom 10. April und vom 21. Juni 2007 dargelegt.

      Pressemitteilung verantwortlich.

      Aktionärsversammlung vom 9. Juli 2007:

Das Unternehmen freut sich, die Ergebnisse der
Jahreshauptversammlung (im weiteren als " Versammlung " bezeichnet),
die am Montag, dem 9. Juli 2007 in Vancouver, British Columbia,
stattfand, mitteilen zu können. Auf dieser Versammlung wurden alle

Bzgl.
Drilling is being conducted in two ten-hour shifts per day. At the end of the July 12, 2007 night shift, 670 metres (2,197 feet) of core has been drilled. Two holes have now been completed. Hole BB07-1 was drilled to a depth of 426 metres (1,398 feet) and hole BB07-10 was drilled to 243.5 (799 feet). Drilling was started on the third hole (BB07-2) on July 13, 2007.

Bolero begins drilling at Cannivan Gulch
Thursday September 13, 10:42 am ET

VANCOUVER, Sept. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - United Bolero Development Corp. (the "Company" or "United Bolero"), (TSX-V: UNB - News) is pleased to provide an update on the 1,890 metre (6,200 feet) diamond drill program currently underway at Cannivan Gulch. The Cannivan Gulch property is located approximately 30 miles southwest of Butte, Montana and was previously explored between the years 1968 and 1981 by Cyprus-Amax, Amoco Minerals and others. United Bolero has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the property which consists of 15 original unpatented claims covering 300 acres plus an additional 600 acres covered by an additional 30 claims.

      Diamond Drill Program:
      ----------------------

Drilling at Cannivan Gulch was delayed by a series of obstacles including a longer than expected permitting process, and the lack of helicopters due to wild fires in the area. However, we are pleased to announce that a core drilling rig provided by Ruen Drilling, Inc. of Clark Fork, Idaho was lifted by helicopter onto the first drill site at an elevation of approximately 9,000 feet on September 7, 2007. Water lines, pumps and other support facilities were installed by September 11 and drilling commenced on hole CG07-1 on September 12, 2007. Drilling is being conducted by two crews, each working ten- to twelve- hour shifts per day.
The present drilling program on the Cannivan Gulch property is designed to confirm previous drill results by drilling a twinned hole and to fill-in and expand the existing non-compliant resource. New hole CG07-1 will twin historical hole CG-1 which contained molybdenum mineralization starting at the surface in the north-central portion of the historically identified mineralization. We anticipate that this hole will have a total depth of approximately 500 feet. New hole CG07-2 is designed to test the limits of near-surface mineralization and to fill-in mineralization recognized at depth in previous drill holes in the northern portion of the historical mineralization. New holes CG07-3 and CG07-4 are designed as in-fill holes in the south-central and southern portions of the mineralization, respectively.

      Core Logging and Assaying:
      -------------------------

The core is being sawed, photographed, and geologically logged at United Bolero's core facility located in Silver City, Montana, approximately nine miles east of the Bald Butte property. One half of each sample interval is being shipped to ALS Chemex Laboratories for analysis. On July 11, 2007 the Company shipped 286 metres (938 feet) of core to ALS Chemex Laboratories in Nevada and anticipates results within the next three weeks.

      Previous Work on Cannivan Gulch:
      -------------------------------

Previous work by Cyprus Exploration Company included a detailed exploration program consisting of 55 core holes totaling 88,450 feet drilled and 2,514 feet of underground development completed. Based on the results of these earlier exploration programs, a non NI 43-101 compliant resource was estimated by Amoco Minerals Company, in June 1982, at 300 million tons grading 0.06% Molybdenum ("Mo") containing 360,000,000 pounds of Mo. This historical resource was calculated at a 0.03% Mo cut-off resulting in a preliminary pit design with a 0.97:1 strip ratio. This historic resource estimate quoted above, is considered to be relevant and is believed to be reliable based on the amount and quality of historic work completed. The Company has not completed the work necessary to independently verify the classification of the mineral resource estimates. The Company is not treating the mineral resource estimates as National Instrument 43-101 defined resources verified by a qualified person. The historical estimates should not be relied upon. The properties will require considerable further evaluation which the Company's management and consultants intend to carry out in due course.

      - Higher grades within the deposit

      - Previous drilling indicates that the potential exists for a high
      grade core zone at depth
      - Historic Drill Hole CG-22 which was drilled in the central core
zone in 1974 intersected 1,510 feet (from 250 feet to 1,760 feet)
at 0.12% Mo including 270 feet (from 580 feet to 850 feet) at 0.21%
Mo. (CMS laboratory as reported by Cyprus/Amoco Minerals.)
      - An adit and cross cut totaling more than 2,500 feet was driven by
Cyprus/Amoco Minerals in 1980 to obtain bulk samples for
metallurgical testing and to allow grab and channel sampling
      through the deposit

      14.09.2007 | 13:49 Uhr
Bolero beginnt mit Bohrarbeiten auf der Liegenschaft Cannivan Gulch
Vancouver, Kanada (ots/PRNewswire) - United Bolero Development
Corp. (im Weiteren das "Unternehmen" bzw. "United Bolero"), (TSX-V:

ausgebrochenen Bränden bestehenden Mangels an Hubschraubern,

Juli

Lizenzbeteiligungen an 2 beträchtlichen Molybdän-Vorkommen in

(the “Company” or “Bolero”), (TSX-V:BRU) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Letter Agreement (the “Rico Letter Agreement”) with Rico Renaissance LLC, Rico Land and Cattle Company, Rico High Altitude Investments LLC, Rico Properties LLC and Rico Mountain Life LLC to acquire certain private surface and mineral rights (including patented claims) that host the Silver Creek molybdenum project and other copper-gold occurrences located in the Pioneer Mining District, Dolores County, Colorado approximately 20 miles southwest of Telluride and just east of Rico.

The Silver Creek molybdenum project was explored by The Anaconda Company (“Anaconda”), from surface and underground during the period 1979 through 1983 with 63,000 feet of drilling completed. In May of 1984, Anaconda reported a historic inferred resource based on four drill holes of 44 million short tons (39.9 million tonnes) at a molybdenum (“Mo”) grade of 0.31% Mo, or 0.527% MoS2, within a 0.20% molybdenum cut-off, containing 273 million pounds of molybdenum.

All resource estimates quoted herein are based on data and reports obtained and prepared by previous operators. This historic resource estimate is considered to be relevant, and is believed to be reliable based on the amount and quality of historic work completed. The Company has not completed the work necessary to independently verify the classification of the mineral resource estimates. The Company is not treating the mineral resource estimates as National Instrument 43-101 defined resources verified by a qualified person. The historical estimates should not be relied upon. The properties will require considerable further evaluation which the Company’s management and consultants intend to carry out in due course.

Anaconda estimated the potential of the mineral deposit to be up to 198 million tons (179.6 million tonnes) @ >0.30% Mo (>0.51% MoS2) at a cut-off of 0.20% Mo. This could represent up to 1.2 billion pounds of contained molybdenum. This estimate of target potential was based on the inferred mineralization halo >0.20% Mo, structural controls projected from surface and observed in core, fluorine/tungsten geochemical signatures and an isopach of Mo mineralization compared with typical Climax style deposits in Colorado. Anaconda geologists were of the opinion that less than 20% of the potential Silver Creek resource has been drilled.

The potential quantity and grade is conceptual in nature and there has been insufficient exploration to define a mineral resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the target being delineated as a mineral resource.

Historic drill holes with significant intersections of ≥ 0.20% Mo cut-off include:

      SC-81-1 245 ft @ 0.242 % Mo or 0.411% MoS2

      SC-81-5 635 ft @ 0.334 % Mo or 0.568% MoS2 (see notes 1, 2)

      SC-81-6 191 ft @ 0.231 % Mo or 0.393% MoS2

      SC-82-7A 285 ft @ 0.286 % Mo or 0.486% MoS2

      Note 1. Includes 130 ft @ 0.505 % Mo or 0.859 % MoS2

      Note 2. At a ≥ 0.30% cut off comprises of 378 ft @ 0.415% Mo or 0.706 % MoS2

In terms of the Rico Letter Agreement, Bolero has paid a non-refundable cash deposit of US$100,000. A further non-refundable cash payment of US$500,000 as a down payment on the total purchase price of US$10,000,000 will be due when Bolero is satisfied that it can receive free and clear title at Closing. A final payment of the balance US$9,400,000 is due on the Closing Date expected to be on or about November 16th, 2007.

In addition, the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Roger C. Steininger in the capacity of Project Geologist for the Rico Project. Dr. Steininger spent 15 years with the Climax Molybdenum Co. in exploration, development and mine geology at their operations in Colorado and Western Canada. Since leaving Climax, Dr. Steininger was Exploration Manager for Amselco Minerals and for the last 20 years has maintained a consulting practice. During the time since leaving Climax, Dr. Steininger has been involved in several molybdenum projects in western North America.

“We are extremely excited about the potential of this project”, said Bolero’s President and CEO R. Bruce Duncan. “We believe that it may represent a significant molybdenum project in Colorado, and while it is early days for Bolero, we have been able to recover much of the historic exploration data which confirms the exploration model used by Anaconda. Moreover, we are also excited about the potential of the district; consequently, we have been actively staking the region.”

The Company has retained Associated Geosciences Ltd. (AGL) of Calgary to assist with the due diligence process and to prepare a technical report on the property compliant with National Instrument 43-101 of the Canadian Securities Administrators. Mr. McCandlish, Vice President & General Manager of AGL, has worked on many polymetallic porphyry deposits, worldwide, with experience with both block caving and sub-level caving in copper porphyries.

      Background on Pioneer Mining District:

The district is a historic producer of silver, lead zinc, copper gold and pyrite (during 1879 to 1971) from veins and carbonate replacement deposits. In 1936, control of the Pioneer Mining District was consolidated under the Rico Argentine Mining Company (RAMCO). Production continued through 1970 and RAMCO was acquired by the Crystal Oil Company in 1974. In 1977, the site was visited by Jim Garmoe, Chief Geologist of The Anaconda Company. Anaconda concluded a lease/purchase option in June of 1978 with the intention of expanding the resource base of the copper replacement deposit discovered by RAMCO on NB Hill. Anaconda also believed that a deeply buried undiscovered porphyry was the source of the copper mineralization.

The 1979 exploration program conducted by Anaconda was not successful in delineating additional base metal replacement deposits, but drill hole C-25 intersected quartz veins containing molybdenite and tungsten and fluorine geochemical gradients suggesting proximity to a molybdenum bearing porphyry stock. The property then was explored by Anaconda from surface and underground via the Blaine Tunnel from 1979 through 1983 with 63,000 feet of drilling completed. A total of 26 exploration holes were drilled as part of the Anaconda program.

While the known mineralization is deep it appears that grades are above average for a Climax-type deposit and that a reasonable geological interpretation indicates the size could be on a par with other known deposits of this type in Colorado. While it is premature to discuss mineability of such a deposit the potential grade and tonnage suggest that several mining options could be available. Exploration of the property was terminated in February 1983 with the collapse of molybdenum prices.

A secondary molybdenum target is north of Silver Creek at CHC Hill. Quartz-eye porphyry dikes and anomalous fluorine, tungsten, and molybdenum indicate that buried molybdenum bearing porphyry stock may exist beneath CHC Hill. Only limited shallow drilling exists at CHC Hill, none which tested the molybdenum target.

Both Keith McCandlish, P.Geol. (Alberta) and P.Geo. (BC), Vice President & General Manager of AGL as an independent “qualified person” (as such term is defined by NI 43-101) and Dr. Roger C. Steininger, Certified Professional Geologist (AIPG) as the Company’s “qualified person” have reviewed, and are responsible for, the preparation of the technical information in this release.

Bolero drills 110 feet of 0.106% Mo (0.177% Mos2) at Bald Butte
Wednesday October 17, 8:40 am ET

VANCOUVER, Oct. 17 /CNW Telbec/ - Bolero Resources Corp. (the "Company" or "Bolero"), (TSX-V: BRU - News) is pleased to announce the analytical results for the first four diamond drill holes of the 2007 exploration program at the Company's Bald Butte molybdenum project in Montana. All holes were designed to test the continuity and limits of mineralization defined in the NI 43-101 compliant report dated December 12, 2006 which has been filed on Sedar. This data will confirm the confidence that Bolero has in the resource. Upon completion of the present drill program, the Company will calculate an updated NI 43-101 compliant resource which is scheduled for completion by the end of the first quarter 2008.
The attached table shows the significant intercepts resulting from holes BB07-1, BB07-2, BB07-5, and BB07-10. We have used a 0.04% Mo cut-off for the significant intercepts and have therefore only listed those intercepts that are at least 20 feet in thickness and have grades of 0.04% Mo or greater.

The inclination of the four holes and their total depths are as follows:

Hole Number Inclination Total Depth (feet)

      BB07-5 -90 (degrees) 1,400
      BB07-10 -90 (degrees) 799

Three of the four new holes were drilled to the depths planned but hole BB07-2, which we had planned to drill to a depth of 1,000 feet, encountered a broken zone that forced abandonment of the hole at a depth of 470 feet. The last 110 feet of hole BB07-2 averaged 0.106% Mo. We plan to drill another hole in the immediate area of BB07-2 in the hope of testing the projection of this high-grade zone to depth.
These first four holes have established continuity of the upper (main) zone of mineralization as projected in our preliminary modeling and have better defined the limits of a deeper zone in the northeastern portion of the mineralization which may represent a structurally controlled feeder zone. The best intercepts in these holes occur in strongly altered Proterozoic Helena Formation at the contact with the Bald Butte quartz monzonite stock of Eocene age.

We are especially pleased with the results in the upper portion of hole BB07-2 where our preliminary projections suggested that ore-grade mineralization would only start at a depth of approximately 210 feet below surface. In fact, this hole encountered a zone averaging 0.06% Mo starting just 30 feet below surface. As shown in the attached table, hole BB07-2 encountered ore-grade material from 30 feet to its termination at 470 feet. The Company will be updating the shareholders with more drill results in the weeks ahead.
