Zitat von der Homepage von Sage Gold (Copyrights liegen dort):

      "Company Overview

Sage Gold Inc. is a mineral exploration company focused on exploring and developing properties with the potential to host world class gold deposits in the Americas.

The companys' properties are located in Ontario, Nevada and Arizona and an extensive work program including drilling is scheduled for 2007.

The 2nd phase of drilling on the Jacbous Ni/Cu property in Beardmore, Ontario was completed in July '07 totalling 4,440 metres and 13 holes. All results are tabled under Projects and Jacbous on this website. The 3rd phase of drilling is now underway to extend the down dip and lateral mineralization and to prove up the historical resource and further define the overall tonnage and grades leading to 43-101 compliance. Sage's best hole to date on Jacobus is 2.12% Nickel and 1.02% copper over 6.6 metres.

Sage completed a 3000 metre drill program in mid November '06 on the Onaman property in Beardmore, Ontario and the assays are available . This first phase of the drill program was on surface mineralized zones in order to ascertain the economic viabiltiy of a small scale, open pit mining operation. Further drilling at Onaman is scheduled for 2007 on a new massive sulphide target.

The Pony Spur property in the Southern Carlin trend of Nevada has commenced drilling in October of 2007. This program will consist of 2-6 holes and a total of approximatley 3000 ft. Pony Spur is adjacent to the Pony Creek (1.4 million oz.) deposit being drilled by Grandview Gold.

Management is committed to enhancing shareholder value by exploring and developing these properties, as well as identifying new opportunities and resources in the Americas."

Sage Gold Inc.: Gold Hill Channel Samples-31.7 g/T Gold, Grab 54.8g/T Gold
      1/15/2008
TORONTO, ONTARIO, Jan 15, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Sage Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE: SGX) has completed underground and surface channel sampling of one of the quartz vein structures present at the Gold Hill property located in Maricopa County, Arizona. Forty-five channel samples have been cut based on 5 metre (16.4 feet) and 2.5 metre (8.2 feet) spacing along the East vein both underground and at surface. The samples were cut from the back of the main haulage. Additional channel sampling is underway on the West vein structure and on the four levels above the main haulage.

The highest grade in the channel samples assays is 31.7 grams of gold per tonne (0.925 ounces per ton) over a width of 1.2 metres and the highest grade grab sample is 54.8 grams of gold per tonne (1.598 ounces per ton). The following samples represent channel sample assays of greater than 10 grams of gold per tonne over the specified widths. All assays are reported on the Sage web site - www.sagegoldinc.com.

Sage also completed a thirty three element ICP (induced couple plasma) analysis of the sample material for base metals and trace elements. The geochemical analyses indicate that there is relatively low amount of base metal sulphides and that an average ratio of silver to gold is 3.74.

Nigel Lees stated; "We now have confirmation that the Gold Hill property contains high grade gold veins containing economically interesting grades. Sage intends to complete the underground and surface sampling programs in order to assess the resource potential of the accessible underground levels. In addition, Sage is planning a surface drill program in February to test the down dip extensions of the gold veins. The Gold Hill project is located on private patented land."

A series of parallel veins trend northwest - southeast and occur within a Proterozoic age porphyritic granite that intrudes a sequence of schists and argillites. Veins are exposed on the surface over a distance in excess of 1.5 kilometres (4,920 feet). The veins are delineated by exploratory pits, tunnels, shafts and adits. Historical workings from the period 1884-1898 resulted in a 90 metres (300 foot) haulageway with three production raises. Several exploratory winzes and underhand stopes were also developed along with four shafts which have since caved in. In the main haulage tunnel, driven within the East vein structure, oriented almost north-south, veins are exposed over a length of 100 metres (328 feet) with the greatest density of quartz veins occurring over a width of about 55 metres (180 feet).

Sage has an option to acquire a 50% interest in the property by expending U.S. $250,000 and issuing $US50,000 worth of common shares by March 2008. Sage issued 500,000 common shares to the vendor at the closing of the transaction (see Press Release March 13, 2007) and the vendor invested $USD250,000 in a private placement of Sage Gold.

There is an historical resource of 380,000 tons grading 0.27ounces/ton Au based on vein sampling from the existing workings. The existing workings were resampled in 1981 (Promet Services - December 1981, Duane Brown PhD) yielding the resource estimate defined below:

      Proven Reserve - 30,000 tons at 0.27 oz Au/ton Probable Reserve - 150,000 tons at 0.27 oz Au/ton Possible Reserve - 200,000 tons at 0.27 oz Au/ton

The Company has not yet conducted sufficient exploration to define the indicated and inferred mineral resources. As such, the potential quantity and grade disclosed above is conceptual in nature based on sampling of underground workings at the Gold Hill property. The sample results are relevant in that they represent the most recent work conducted on the property. The reserve/resource categories predate NI 43-101 and given that there has been no feasibility study completed on the property these reserve categories should be defined as inferred, indicated and measured mineral resources.

Further exploration may not result in the discovery of additional mineral resources. All resource estimates quoted herein are based on prior data and reports obtained and prepared by previous operators.

The Company has not completed the work necessary to verify the classification of the mineral resource estimates. The Company is not treating the mineral resource estimates as NI 43-101 defined resources verified by a qualified person. The historical estimates should not be relied upon. The Company has not completed a feasibility study and there is no certainty that the Company's planned operations will be economically viable. Sage intends to verify the historical results through an underground sampling program followed by underground drilling to test the lateral and vertical extent of the vein structures.

Dr. Ulrich Kretschmar, Ph.D, P.Geo (APGO #1160) a qualified person as defined by NI 43 -101 has read and approved the technical content of this news release.

The channel samples were crushed and pulped by Jacobs Laboratories in Tuscon, Arizona. The total pulps were shipped to ALS Chemex in Vancouver. The samples were then dry-screened to 100 micron (150 mesh) to produce plus and minus fractions for screen fire assay. The samples were dissolved using acid digestion. A 33 element ICP analysis was completed to test for base metals and trace elements. The gold results were reported as the weighted average grade of gold based on the coarse and fine fractions.

SAGE is a mineral exploration and development company which has interests in exploration properties in Ontario and Quebec, Nevada and Arizona. The following story was published in the Times Star, a community weekly based in Geraldton, Ontario,on October 1, 2008:

      SAGE GOLD HOLDS INVESTORS TOUR

      Sage Active in Greenstone Region

      by Edgar J. Lavoie

Part I – The Golden Extension

The forest industry does help mining exploration. Sage Gold Inc. has found what it believes will become a major gold discovery in the middle of a clearcut.
When Sage's prospectors made the discovery, they did not have to fight their way through swamps and bush – at least in that location. And they found a logging road in place.

On September 22 and 23, the writer joined a field tour of some of Sage's properties in the Beardmore-Geraldton mining camp. The party included Sageofficials, a group of investors from Bay
Street, and two geologists from the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines (MNDM).

The four investors – perhaps mining investment advisors is a
more accurate term – had flown into Thunder Bay Airport that morning, and a chartered bus had whisked them to a tourist
resort on the 801 Road between Beardmore and Jellicoe.
The first day began with a lunch in the dining hall of Pasha Lake Cabins and a presentation by two of Sage's top executives: Nigel Lees, President and CEO; and Bill Love, Vice President/Business
      Development.

The field party jumped into 4-WD pickups, two of them driven by local prospectors, Myron Nelson and Lyle Holt, whom Lees also described as "partners" in Sage because they have vested interests.
Ted Cox demonstrates with a miner'span how to extract gold from the muck.
One truck scooted over to nearby Bush Lake Resort, where Sage locates its field office, so that a small group could catch a helicopter ride to the Hercules Property of Kodiak Exploration Ltd. Four trucks headed north on the 801, cut across to the Kinghorn Road by the River Road, and entered the Kodiak property.
The trail into the Golden Mile Zone had been improved since last year, and a rough extension had been built to the north end of the area stripped of overburden, running on the west side. After a long
wait, two helicopters touched down in the clearing. Out of the Kodiak-sponsored chopper stepped one investor and four Kodiak officials. The Kodiak team planned to shuttle parties of investors all week to its star property.

Squatting in the "jewelry box" of Kodiak's Golden Mile, Brian Maher (VP) addresses the field parties. Sage's President, Nigel Lees, looks on (upper left). Unpublished photo.

As pre-arranged, the Kodiak team, led by Bill Chornaby, President and CEO, and Brian Maher, Vice President/Exploration, was going to make a presentation to the Sage/Kodiak parties. Everyone migrated toward the "jewelry box" of the Golden Mile and descended into the shallow trench. A little way to the south a North Star Drilling rig groaned away.

It was a day that held a lot of promise, in more ways than one. On this warm autumn day, the sunlight bathed the wide quartz vein that snakes through a shear zone in the host rock, the Elmhirst Lake Intrusion. Brian Maher got down to business, spreading generously sized charts on the gold-bearing vein and speaking to the graphics contained therein.

Since late summer of 2006, Kodiak had been making spectacular gold discoveries on its Hercules Property. The Golden Mile Zone had been stripped almost continuously for about 3 kilometres, trending northwest. This season diamond drills had been sinking deep holes in a continuing effort to define an ore body, a substantial mineral resource that would justify a mine.

In the first two seasons, Kodiak stripped a parallel line of zones to the east, running from the Wilkinson Lake Zone in the southeast to the Marino Zone in the northwest, This season it has been stripping and drilling a parallel zone to the west. This past summer, said Chornaby (President), Kodiak had 135 people employed in the field.

Maher (VP) stated that Kodiak was sending about a thousand core samples a day to the lab for "fire assay". Any result yielding 3 grams per metric tonne (g/t) or better had been sent back for a more rigorous "metallic assay". Drills had intersected values as deep as 575 metres. Major mining companies have expressed interest, but, Maher said, negotiations were confidential. Holding up his hands, Maher remarked: "We have almost two handfuls [of documents] signed."

In the course of the presentation, Chornaby said, "Our neighbours [Sage Gold] are on strike with a significant discovery." He was referring to the Golden Extension Showing about 5 kilometres across
      country.

Later, Gerry White, district geologist for MNDM, communicated to the writer: "If Sage's Golden Extension occurrence proves to be the northwestern extension of Kodiak's Hercules vein system,
a much large exploration target emerges from this area."
After this splendid example of cross-promotion by the two junior companies, the two parties dispersed. Most of the Sage field party embarked in the four pickups. The writer and two others climbed into the Sage-sponsored Bell 206 Long Ranger and flew northwest along the strike of the Golden Mile.

To the west, one could observe the newest Kodiak zone, the Lucky Strike, also trending northwest. Ahead, just north of the unnamed lake that terminates the trenching on the Golden Mile, drills were churning away in the bush, accessed by a rough trail that permits only ATV travel. Farther ahead, a clearcut area emerged.
Up to a week ago, the Sage crew had been stripping the vein by hand. With a bridge newly installed over Fairview Creek, operations were continuing with a backhoe. As the helicopter landed, other members of the field party were making their way by road. A logging road runs west for almost 11 kilometres to the showing, starting just past the Kilometre 43 marker on the Kinghorn Road.

The backhoe operator, Nolan Cox, greeted the visitors, along with son Ted Cox, Sage's field geotechnician, and son Danny Cox, contracted by Sage to provide a crew of geotechs.
Trenching had exposed a broad quartz vein in a shear of the host rock, the Elmhirst Lake Intrusion. Bill Love (Sage VP) explained, "The strike of this is very close to that of [Kodiak's] Golden Mile."

The Golden Extension Showing occurs about 1.6 kilometres from the boundary with Kodiak.
The vein has been traced over a length of 200 metres, most of it in the last week. Ted Cox described the gold-bearing vein as a tight pinch and swell structure, the widest point being 1.3 metres, with a vertical dip. Gazing to the southeast, Cox said, "We can hear Kodiak's drills every day."

Cox wowed the visitors with a demonstration of panning. Scooping some soil and dipping the pan into water, he gently rocked and swirled the contents until a glistening tail of gold appeared. Said
one of the investors, "It's amazing! That gold just came out of the muck [near the vein]." Donna McPherson, a stock broker, represented Octagon Capital Corporation, based in Toronto.
Aerial view of Sage's Golden Extension. The line of strike (right to left) points to Kodiak's Golden Mile Zone about 5 kilometres away. Unpublished photo courtesy of Gerry White, MNDM.

Walking with some visitors northeast of the main trench, geotechnician Cox gestured towards a new water-filled trench. He explained that in developing a "waterhole" to supply the hose that washes down the bedrock, the excavator exposed the vein extension with startling samples of visible gold (VG).

The strategic plan of operations, said Cox, includes some cross-trenching to determine if the showing has some parallel zones alongside.

The Cox family has a financial stake in the Jacobus Property, which is an extensive area northwest of Kodiak's Hercules Property. The Golden Extension is located in the Jacobus East Area.
Danny Cox, a prospector and an exploration contractor, remarked that their financial interest gave them an extra incentive to do their jobs well.

Back at the main trench, the rest of the field party, along with Nigel Lees (President), arrived in three trucks. One truck had foundered in a muddy section of trail near the Kodiak drill rig, and the drilling crew had helped extricate the vehicle. Another problem had developed, and they had abandoned the truck temporarily.

Throughout the tour, Mark Smyk, regional resident geologist for MNDM, and Gerry White had been asking questions, making observations, and recording meticulous notes.
Earlier in the season, a Sage crew had stripped the showing for 12 metres and extracted samples from 12 channels, spaced a metre apart. Bill Love explained that the exposed vein at that time averaged 19.5 g/t, with up to 9 g/t found in the wall or host rock. Ted Cox stated that another 34 samples have been sent for assay, and that they were preparing more to go.

Last winter Sage Gold had run geophysics on the Jacobus East Area, and when the snow had gone, Nolan Cox had been stripping a "line feature" farther west without getting any values. Then in July a prospecting team found a patch of bedrock, about 2 by 3 metres in size, which is now called the Golden Extension Showing.

One of the investors, J.C. St-Amour of Frazer Mackenzie, told the writer that he had been impressed by the earlier presentation. That the Sage find was on line of strike with Kodiak's Golden
Mile looked very promising. As for the Golden Extension, he said, "This is still early [in the operations stage], and it will be good to see some drill results."

Another interesting feature of the showing was that someone had used a spray can to print on top of the dome in the trench the following words: GOLDEN SPIDER. Nolan Cox displayed a photo of a
yellow spider whose home they had disturbed. Until the showing received its official name, the crew had apparently been using the term as a workplace title.

Back at Pasha Lake Cabins, the party relaxed with beverages in hand as they hovered over display boxes of split core and a table loaded with interesting samples from other Sage properties in the
Jellicoe area. The day ended with a lavish meal catered by Karen Ostler of Geraldton.

The following day, Tuesday, the tour would move to Sage's Onaman Property.

Ein Bericht von der Toronto Konferenz über Kodiak mit sehr interessanten Anmerkungen zu Sage :

Toronto Conference On Saturday, Oct 4/2008
Posted by: PaulTiger on October 05, 2008 02:54AM

At the Toronto Conference On Saturday morning I had a long chat with Brian Maher. While I was talking with him we were joined by Alto’s president Mike Koziol. Later on mzsmith and his neighbour joined the conversation. Later on I talked to Nigel Lees, president of SGX. The following information was captured from these conversations.

The Golden mile strike is potentially 9km long. It looks like 4 of these 9 kilometres are in Sage’s property. The GM changes directions from NW to North to NW and so on. Every time this happens the alteration and mineralization seem to get stronger.

One statement that I like from the “HERCULES GOLD PROPERTY, FOCUSED ON GOLD – ON TRACK WITH DISCOVERY” is in the middle of the last paragraph on page 1: “Kodiak believes that the Hercules project has strong potential to host a major new gold resource. 90% of exposed strike length at Hercules remains untested, and the system remains open in all directions”. Page 2 of this handout in the middle of the third paragraph has the following statement: “According to a common mining rule of thumb that states a vein extends downward for half of its strike length, this means the Golden Mile system could easily extend down to a depth of 2000 m“. So given the GM strike length and the potential depth any concerns about narrow interceptions should be put to rest. When I asked Brian about the narrow intercepts he pointed out the strike length of the GM as his answer.

The “unnamed lake” in the middle of the GM strike zone is now referred by Kodiak as the Golden Pond. There will be drilling on the Golden Pond this winter once the pond is frozen.

Maki is now called Maki Midas (page 30-32 of the new KXL presentation reflects this new name). If you look at the map on page 30, the longer black line at the bottom of the map shows the 120km (Brian mentioned 120km as opposed to 140km) of Maki Midas and the current drilling activity is where the Mackie Bear Paw is. Note also that page 30 last bullet lists the regional exploration places and new names: Maki Midas, West Geralton Golden Boomerang, Sturgeon-Bridge Caviar, the Kaby Lake Gold Rush and Solomon’s Pillars. There is potential that one or two of these areas can be equal or better than GM, we just have to wait and see! (I added this last statement for vehatzlacha).

The new drill cores at the core house shown in one of Cedar’s pictures are from Maki Midas and Sturgeon Bridge Caviar.

Check page 29 of the presentation if you have questions related to the stage (initial exploration, target generation, mineral zone definition or resource delineation (including deep drilling?)) of any of the 30 potential targets.

Most of the KXL drilling activity will be stop around the middle of December and will start again in February next year. During this time KXL will be busy processing all the data that they have on hand at the moment. When drilling starts next year it will not necessarily start with 5 drills as KXL will be really careful with drilling. The idea behind this approach is to preserve capital during this current financial situation, and KXL’s objective is to still have about 20 million left by the end of 2009. So this means not immediate deep drilling other than GM. And reading between the lines, this also probably means no NR until all the data is processed.

KXL is quite aware of the details of the deal when Goldcorp bought the Eleanor mine. We can rest assure that whenever comes the time, KXL will try to get a similar or better deal. If you don’t know the details, I am sure Portee (or somebody that got Goldcorp shares out of this deal) will be able to describe it. Related to this, Brian sort of confirm that there were at least 8 confidentiality agreements.

Brian will be busy presenting at conferences for the next 3 months, starting with the Dubai conference after the Toronto conference (so no more phone calls Cedar, LOL). This part of the promotion and hopefully will help increase the SP (just think that there are a lot of middle east investors not knowing were to put their US dollars from oil sales).

Nigel Lees (SGX president) is very happy with the GM extension on the SGX property. This NW GM extension is located on the same geophysical structure and is similar in mineralogy and geological setting, but the veins are getting wider (page 11 of the new KXL presentation indicates that the “alteration and mineralization are getting stronger to the NW).
Also, Nigel is pleased that investors can come to visit both the SGX and KXL properties at the same time. This is good promotion for both companies. Lastly, Nigel indicated that after announcing results from the GM extension it will probably be good time for more financing. It sounds that he already has financing arranged (flow through shares) and is just a timing matter.

      PaulTiger

P.S. I will not be attending the presentation on Sunday at 3PM, but I might be at the conference during the morning.

P.S.S. I just have one little concern about Brian being a helicopter dare devil, but don’t ask me for details. Ask him and mention PaulTiger.

      Cedar,

You wrote: “The GM, 4 km being Sage's, I had a different impression. I asked Brian and got this: 3 km between the south-end gabbro plug and Golden Pond lake, and 5 km under the lake and up to Sage's property. Then 1.6 km on Sage's side, and maybe more.”

What you heard from Brian is right. SGX gave me the impression that they got 4km and not just 1.6km. There is a subsequent post from red911 discussing this. As you pointed out GM is made up of portion below (SE) the Golden Pond, the Golden Pond, and the NW portion of the Golden Pond. It will be great to get this clarified at the conference today or perhaps get longbomb to post a map showing the exact distances.

The last paragraph of my post referrers only to the SGX portion of the GM extension, and the comment made by sage (and I think I read it somewhere also, but I do not have the time to verify it now) was that the veins on the SGX portion of the GM extension are getting wider.

Und hier mal ein kleiner Überblick über den Sage / Kodiak Quartz-Venen Korridor im Jacobus / Golden Mile Gebiet :

This project area on the eastern side of the Jacobus property lies along strike and five kilometres directly to the north-west from the Kodiak Exploration Ltd. Hercules gold veins, which includes the high grade Golden Mile vein system. Sage Gold reported on the results of winter work and results of two grab samples from quartz veins from the Golden Extension which yielded 30.1 and 47.9 g Au/T (within a range of 0.008 g Au/T to 47.93 g Au/T) respectively from an area near the eastern property boundary. A second vein located near Hindson Lake approximately two kilometres west of the eastern vein system, returned a grab sample of 14.8 g Au/T. Current and ongoing work to expose veins on the Golden Extension showing is revealing an extensive network of gold-bearing quartz-carbonate-feldspar-pyrite-cha... veins. The main vein trends approximately 110o and is hosted within a feldspar phyric mafic volcaniclastic. Its width varies between 10cm to 1m and has been exposed via hand trenching for over 12m. Free gold in the grab and channel samples occurs as fine-grained specks intimately associated with sulphides. Free gold is also apparent in the soil above the vein.

Vein #1 – the Golden Extension Vein – sampled over 60 metres of strike length and is open both northwest and southeast. There have been 59 channels cut into the vein at a sampling density of one every metre. Visible gold is present within the vein and in the weathered zone immediately above the vein.

Vein #2 – Located 8 metres south of the north-western end of the stripped area of Vein #1. Vein #2 strikes east-west and has been stripped for 78 metres. The vein and veinlets occur within a highly sheared zone of up to 6 metres wide with siliceous wall rock and 5-10% disseminated pyrite. Visible gold is present in both the vein material and the weathered zone immediately above the vein. Twenty channel samples have been cut within the veins and the mineralized wall rock. The vein is open to the west and east.

Vein #3 – Located 25 metres north of Vein #1. Vein #3 has been trenched for 90 metres and strikes 100 degrees. Vein #3 consists of up to 5 metres width of sheared and mineralized wall rock, veins and veinlets. Pyrite occurs as subhedral clots within the veins and as disseminated masses within altered and silicified wall rock. Molybdenite and chalcopyrite are also present in the vein and wall rock. Visible gold has been located in the weathered zone immediately over the sheared zone.

Vein #4 – Located 57 metres northwest of Vein #1, Vein #4 comprises two parallel vein systems which have been stripped over a strike length of 62 metres and trend northwest-southeast. Visible gold has been identified in one of the veins.

"Vein 5 is an extension of Vein 1 trending SE and is now over 100 metres. It is 1Km from the SGX/KXL border. We will update our Vein map on the homepage soon outlining the vein structures."

"Vein 6 is 70 meters NW of Vein 4 and we are still stripping and trenching and channel sampling as we go which is standard procedure. The length hasn’t been determined since we are still there. We will update the website with this information when program completed Dec 19."

Gute Zusammenfassung der Fragen an das SGX Management und deren Antworten diese Woche:

      week in review

      posted on Feb 07, 09 12:27AM

Help me out if I've missed anything. A few positives this week maybe, thanks to inquisitive questions by fasteddie, red911, and i'm probably missing others.....

      - the 5 new veins are NW of vein 4

(Vein 4 delivered the heartiest gold samples last NR)

      - We have 60 metres of strike length on the border vein and plan on continuation once we complete the 5 newly identified veins NW of Vein 4.

(Does this mean the 5 new veins look better than the border vein?)

      - Is there VG in the 5 Veins to the NW? Yes

      - Kodiak Exp Inc has stated that mineralization seems to be increasing to the NW in there Veins. Based on the information Sage Gold Inc has available would this be true of the Veins on the Jacobus property? Yes

      - As long as new veins are being discovered stripping and trenching will continue, these are the basic orderly processes of exploration hence the decision to drill once we’ve delineated the structures.

      - We have always stated that we are in the acquisition mode and have talked to many companies and continue to do so. We cannot report on any specific area.

(Hmmm,, in aquistion mode.... what about aquishie mode?)

      - As mentioned in previous response, we are stripping and trenching the 5 new veins and will endeavor to indentify additional veins in surrounding areas. At this point we have 12.

(They are considering renaming the Golden Extention to "Veins r Us".......don't be surprised to see this grow to 30....)

      ................................

Summary.... visible gold in most or all veins.... gold in overburden......gold in wall rock........gold panned....... gold way down deep further south at Ni/cu deposit.......veins at the fringe bedrock "epicenter"........

      ................................

      - No , we have not bulk sampled for metallurgy but will when we near the scoping stage which happen after a resource is reported. Presently we are awaiting our NI43-101 Resource estimate on the Lynx Zone.

They may not have done a bulk sample and metallurgy on Lynx, but refer to http://www.sagegoldinc.com/site/News... for report on Cane testing of same. Cane is at the southern end of Onaman.

As part of a metallurgical test program, the Research and Productivity Council (Fredericton, New Brunswick) reported the following average grade:

Au 3.9 g/T, Pb 5.8% and Zn 4.5 % from a 60 kg composite sample of the Cane Gold showing. The metallurgical testing program will be completed in three weeks.

Note - Channels 167- 180 were disclosed in the Press Release of
      January 26/09.

Refer to www.sagegoldinc.com for a channel map of Vein 4.

These results occur within the northwestern extension of Vein 4 within an area that was previously covered by water. The winter conditions allow the operator to remove the ice from the vein system which can then be sampled. Visible gold is present both within discrete quartz veins and within silicified mafic volcanic wall rocks. It is apparent that the stripped area now encompasses the contact zone between the Elmhirst intrusion and the surrounding volcanics. Quartz veins are present as multiple northwest trending veins and as interstitial ladder veins within altered pyritic silicified volcanics. The volcanic material yielded good gold values such as channel 176 which assayed 50.64 g Au/T (press release of January 26, 2009).

Sage continues to strip and sample multiple gold bearing vein structures which are both parallel and cross cutting the original discovery of Vein 1. Stripping and trenching continues in a Northwest direction on Vein 4.

The Company expects to complete magnetometer and VLF (very low frequency) survey over the eastern side of the Jacobus property before the spring. The trenching and geophysical programs will provide surface sampling and structural data to allow for the generation of drill targets for drilling during the summer season.

Sage has also received results from an airborne VTEM (versatile time domain electromagnetic) and magnetometer survey conducted during June and July of 2008. The survey encompasses all of the Sage property in the Beardmore- Geraldton Gold Camp except the original Onaman and Jacobus property blocks which were flown by Fugro Airborne Surveys in October 2007. Initial inspection of the data set reveals an abundance of magnetic and EM anomalies. Sage intends to ground truth the anomalies during the summer season.

      Technical Information

Sage's channel samples are 4cm wide and are cut with a motorized circular saw to a depth of 22 cm and removed with a hammer. The channels are cut perpendicular to the strike of the vein. Samples are taken from the footwall, the vein and the hanging wall. Sample intervals are defined to provide a representative sample of the surface mineralization of the vein and the wall rock. Assays reported in this news release were completed by Accurassay Labs in Thunder Bay. Accurassay's gold analysis is performed using a 30g fire assay charge. The fire assay procedure uses lead collection with a silver inquart. The beads are then digested and an atomic absorption or ICP finish is used. All gold assays that are greater than 10 g/t are re-assayed by fire assay with a gravimetric finish.

NEWS: Sage Gold Exploration Update: Prospecting Results from the Beardmore-Geraldton Gold Camp

      http://biz.yahoo.com/ccn/090312/200903120516871001.html?.v=1

      TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 12, 2009) - Sage Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SGX - News) -

      Paint Lake Property

Sage has completed an extensive prospecting program on its optioned Paint Lake property in the Beardmore-Geraldton Gold Camp (BGGC). The Company has discovered two new zones of gold mineralization. One zone (SW zone) occurs 744 metres southwest of the stripped and sampled zone reported in the press release of August 25, 2008 (channel result 23.09 g Au/T over 0.4 metres). One grab sample from the Paint Lake Southwest Showing yielded 3.7 g Au/T Au. A second zone (SE zone) was discovered 640 metres southeast of the main stripped area. Grab samples from the Paint Lake Southeast Showing assaying greater than 1.0 g/t Au range from 1.1-2.4 g Au/T and average 1.7g Au/T. The mineralization is associated with quartz veins and silicified mafic tuffs.

Sage has completed an analysis of the historic drilling on the Paint Lake property. Metalore Resources drilled 34 holes between 1986 and 1989. The best results occur in the immediate area of the Sage stripping activity and include the following highlights:

      550W-1 - 0.23m of 2.19 g Au/T, 0.50m of 2.40 g Au/t and 0.90m of 5.49 g Au/T

      550W-2 - 0.3 m of 4.10 g Au/T and 1.2 m of 9.09 g Au/T

      4W-2 - 1.5 m of 2.74 g Au/T, 0.25 m with 1.2 g Au/T and 0.43 m of 4.29 g Au/t

      4W-3 - 0.5 m of 3.09 g Au/T and 0.6 m of 25.37 g Au/T.

      2W-2 - 0.2 m of 12.68 g Au/T and 0.3 m of 2.40 g Au/T

The Paint Lake property is located contiguous to the western end of Ontex's Brookbank gold deposit which has 43-101 compliant inferred and indicated mineral resources. Ontex announced (12/18/08) a drill intersection of 85.9 g Au/T over 3.4 metres from drilling completed on the Brookbank deposit. Sage's new occurrence southwest of the original stripped area is 400 metres east of the property boundary and lies stratigraphically at the contact of the southern metavolcanics and the northern conglomerates within the Paint Lake shear zone. This structural and stratigraphic location is the host environment for both the Brookbank Gold deposit and Sage's original discovery on the Paint Lake property.

Sage intends to strip and channel sample the new zones in 2009.

      King Solomon's Pillars Property

Sage has completed prospecting on the optioned Solomon's Pillars property. The Company has located two zones (North and South) of anomalous gold mineralization associated with quartz ankerite veining within oxide iron formation and associated metasediments. Grab samples from the King Solomon's Pillars northern showing assaying greater than 1.0 g Au/T range from 1.0-11.9 g Au/T and average 4.9 g Au/T. Grab samples from the King Solomon's Pillars southern showing assaying greater than 1 g Au/T range from 1.4-16.3 g Au/T and average 6.0 g Au/T.

Sage intends to trench and collect channel samples from the anomalous gold zones in 2009.

      Headway - Onaman Property

Sage has completed surface prospecting and sampling of surface showings associated with the Headway Pb, Zn, Ag, Au zone. The 2008 sampling program yielded a number of high grade silver samples. Grab samples from a select group of 20 of the best samples yielded silver values ranging from 110-1050 g Ag/T (averaging 352.7 g Ag/T), gold values ranging from 0.1-3.9 g Au/T (averaging 1.0 g Au/T), Zn values ranging from 0.52-20.70 % (averaging 5.3 %) and Pb values ranging from 0.37-22.30 % (averaging 3.55 %). Cu values for these samples are generally less than 1 %.

The Headway zone is located approximately 250 metres northwest and stratigraphically above the Lynx zone on the Onaman property.

Assays reported in this news release were completed by ALS Chemex in Thunder Bay. Sample preparation was completed in the Thunder Bay facility of ALS Chemex and prepared samples were shipped to the ALS facility in Vancouver. The copper-silver-gold samples were assayed using induced coupled plasma (ICP) testing with a fire -assay finish for high grade precious metal samples and atomic absorption finish for high grade Cu, Zn and Pb samples.

Sage Gold's Golden Extension Discovery Additional High Grade Results

Thursday March 19, 8:30 am ET

      Golden Extension-Jacobus East

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 19, 2009) - Sage Gold Inc (TSX VENTURE:SGX - News) has received additional channel and grab sample results from Vein 2 and Vein 4 of the Golden Extension in the Beardmore-Geraldton Gold Camp. Sage reported (February 26, 2009) channel results from Vein 4 of 93.72 g Au/T over a channel width of 0.4 metres. Additional results from Vein 4 include a channel sample of 11.15 g Au/T over 0.3 metres. Sage's Golden Extension discovery is located immediately northwest of Kodiak Exploration Ltd's Golden Mile discovery.

      Highlights

      - Vein 4 - channel samples - 11.15 g Au/T over 0.3 metres and 9.51 g Au/T, over 0.20 metres

      - Vein 4 grab sample of 259.99 g Au/T; grab samples range from 1.7 g Au/T to 259.99 g Au/T with an overall average of 75.83 g Au/T

      - Vein 2 - channel samples of 8.21 g Au/T and 7.29 g Au/T over 0.50 metres

Vein 4 has now been exposed and sampled a total length of 83 metres. Over most of its length, it consists of a single quartz vein in granodiorite. At the western end of the trenched area, the single vein feathers out into a series of at least four separate veins and stringers in a 2.5 metre width of sheared mafic volcanic rocks, at the contact between volcanic and granodiorite country rocks. Each individual quartz vein and stringer is mineralized with pyrite and visible gold. Vein 4 was exposed as far as possible to the west until the overburden became too deep.

To date, Vein 4 is by far the strongest mineralized quartz vein emanating from Sage's initial discovery. Meanwhile, SAGE's prospecting team discovered a new vein, Vein 9; 300 metres to the west-northwest of Vein 4. Assays from Vein 9 will be reported shortly in a separate news release.

      Technical Information

Sage's channel samples are between 3 and 4 cm wide and are cut with a motorized diamond saw to a depth of approximately 5 cm. The channels are cut as close to perpendicular to the strike of the vein as permitted by the rock surface. Samples are taken from the footwall, the vein and the hanging wall. Sample intervals are chosen to provide a representative sample of the surface mineralization of the vein and the wall rock. Assays reported in this news release were completed by Accurassay Labs in Thunder Bay. Accurassay's gold analysis is performed using a 30g fire assay charge. Sage Gold's Lynx Cu-Ag-Au Project: Resource Estimate

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 31, 2009) - Sage Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SGX - News) has completed a NI43-101 compliant resource estimate for the Lynx Cu-Ag-Au project located on its 100% controlled Onaman property in the Beardmore-Geraldton Gold Camp. Highlights are:

      - The Inferred Resource defined to date comprises 1,936,000 tonnes at an average grade of 1.44% Cu, 39.6 g Ag/T and 0.58 g Au/T and contains 61.3 million pounds of copper, 2.24 million troy oz of silver and 33,000 troy oz of gold. These resources are reported at a cut-off grade of 0.5% copper.

      - Lersch-Grossman Pit Optimization techniques were utilized to evaluate the near surface potential of the resource that could be amenable to mining by open pit methods. The results indicate the potential for one pit located in the Lynx North area. Using cut-off grade sensitivity scenarios of 1% Cu and 0.5% inferred resources ranging from 485,000 tonnes at 2.1% Cu, 45.3 g Ag/T and 0.70 g Au/T to 845,000 tonnes at 1.55% Cu, 34.6 g Ag/T and 0.51 g Au/T could potentially be mined from two tonnage blocks determined by the cut-off grades.

      - The Lynx deposit zones are located in North area and South area. The Resource modeling indicates that there is scope to expand the high grade resource in the South area down dip to the southwest and updip to the northeast. Further, the North area has not been closed off to the north and all zones have only been drilled down dip to an average depth of 200 metres. Refer to www.sagegoldinc.com for illustrative models of the North and South areas.

Nigel Lees stated "This resource estimate is the first step in developing the economic potential of polymetallic mineralization on the Onaman property. The Onaman property is characterized by a number of high grade Cu-Ag-Au and Pb-Zn-Ag-Au showings including Lynx, Cane Copper, Cane Gold, Abitibi, D9 and Headway. Sage has reported on drilling and sampling results from all of these showings in press releases from 2006 to 2009 (refer to www.sagegoldinc.com). The work to date shows the potential for additional resources at surface and at depth in the North and South areas".

NEWS: Drilling der Golden Extension startet im Juni:

Sage's Golden Extension Discovery-Surface Work Completed Drill Program for 2009

      http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Sages-Golden-Extension-ccn-149…

      TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 16, 2009) -

      Golden Extension - Jacobus East

Sage Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SGX - News) has completed the surface exploration program on the Golden Extension discovered in August 2008 in the Beardmore Geraldton Gold Camp. Two new gold bearing veins were discovered in March 2009 (Vein 9 and Vein 10) located 432 metres northwest of Vein 1 and 268 metres northwest of the northwestern end of Vein 4. The system consists of multiple gold bearing veins on the Jacobus East property, 30 kilometres north- northeast of Beardmore, Ontario and is located northwest of Kodiak Exploration Ltd's Golden Mile discovery.

The first phase of a 3000 metre drill program is planned for June 2009 and will target the high-grade gold vein structures.

      Highlights of Surface Exploration Program

      - Vein 9 - comprises two discrete veins separated by up to 15 metres of sheared carbonatized and mineralized wall rock. Visible gold is present within the sheared wall rock between the north and south offshoots. Stripped length of 50 metres.

      - Vein 9 - Grab samples ranging from 0.56g Au/T to 36.23 g Au/T, channel sample of 2.95 g Au/T over 0.30 metres

      - Vein 4 channel sample of 93.72 g Au/T over a width of 0.4 metres

      - Vein 4 grab sample of 259.99 g Au/T; grab samples range from 1.7 g Au/T to 259.99 g Au/T with an overall average of 75.83 g Au/T

      - Vein 1 channel sample of 136.5 g Au/T over 0.50 metres

      - Magnetometer and Very Low Frequency (VLF) surveys underway - good correlation with vein systems and geophysics

      - 1.2 kms of exposed vein structures

Refer to www.sagegoldinc.com for complete assay results

Sage President & CEO Nigel Lees stated: "We are encouraged by the lateral extent of gold bearing quartz vein systems that we have discovered during the winter stripping and sampling program. We have expanded our array of drill targets at the Golden Extension now comprising the original discovery on Vein 1, Vein 2, the main vein on Vein 4, the extensive quartz stockwork at the northwestern end of Vein 4 and the new mineralized complex of Veins 9 and 10. We will be able to test multiple targets from each drill platform as the vein systems are spatially close and we will also able to test new targets between the veins. In addition, we are expecting the results from the winter geophysical program which will provide new data on the direction of the existing vein systems and potentially new vein systems. We look forward to our summer drill campaign".

A grid of cut lines totaling approximately 149 kilometres has been completed over the Golden Extension. Magnetic and VLF-electromagnetic surveys are in progress over the grid and are approximately 80 percent complete at this date.

Preliminary data from the magnetic and VLF surveys indicate that all the gold occurrences discovered to date are closely associated with magnetic high anomalies. Some of the gold-bearing veins and vein systems also correlate with VLF conductors, which are interpreted to reflect zones of shearing in the granodiorite host rock. In addition to magnetic and VLF anomalies associated with known gold occurrences, there are numerous anomalies that remain to be tested by prospecting and/or excavating.

The summer exploration program for the Jacobus East property will include excavating on anomalies defined by the magnetic and VLF surveys, as well as geological mapping and geochemical surveying. A 3,000 metre diamond drilling program is planned to commence in June and will be split into two phases. The first phase will target the high priority targets on Golden Extension. A later program, during the late summer or early Fall, will follow up on the June drilling and any new zones that are discovered throughout the summer prospecting and excavating work.

Sage has completed the winter stripping and trenching program and has suspended field operations during spring breakup. The Company intends to conduct a detailed mapping program of the Jacobus vein systems in order to establish the structural characteristics of the mineralization prior to drilling in the early summer. Drilling will commence once the geological mapping program is completed.

Sage also plans to continue prospecting, excavating and geological mapping on its other two key gold properties; Paint Lake and King Solomon Pillars. The press release of March 12, 2009 detailed the sampling results from both properties. The summer field work is aimed at developing drill targets for drilling during the winter of 2009/2010.

The fire assay procedure uses lead collection with a silver inquart. The beads are then digested and an atomic absorption or ICP finish is used. All gold assays that are greater than 10 g/t are re-assayed by fire assay with a gravimetric finish.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 3, 2009) - Sage Gold (TSX VENTURE:SGX - News) is focused on their three main properties; Golden Extension, Paint Lake and King Solomon Pillars in the Beardmore Geraldton Gold Camp (BGG) and is currently active with ongoing drilling, trenching and channel sampling, prospecting, geophysics and geological mapping. The exploration program has been accelerated following the completion of Sage's acquisition of Consolidated Puma (PR August 10, 2009).

      Exploration Highlights

      - Completed first phase of drilling on Golden Extension - further drilling in 2009

      - Commenced drilling on Paint Lake - ongoing trenching and sampling

      - Drilling to commence on Solomon Pillars

      1) Golden Extension - Sage has drilled 17 holes on the Golden Extension vein system totaling 1068 metres. The initial drill program was designed to test near surface targets related to surface channel results. Further drilling is planned for the Fall to test both near surface and deeper mineralization. Sage continues to expose new veins in the immediate area of the Golden Extension with assays expected on additional channel samples. Prospecting crews have been deployed throughout the property and are sampling vein structures both within the Elmhirst intrusion and into the surrounding volcanics.

Holes 7a, 7b, 8a and 8b were drilled on different locations
on Vein 1. Holes 11 and 12 were drilled on Vein 4.

Sage has completed detailed geological mapping of the eastern side of the property and has identified two corridors of deformation/shearing and mylonitization hosting extensive vein systems. The corridors are defined by a magmatically related magnetic-high within ferrodiorite, with mineralized zones related to 'relative' magnetic-low features, presumably related to demagnetization of ferrodiorite during deformation /shearing /mylonitization. The northern NW structural corridors hosts the Golden Extension vein system where gold has been panned, observed and/or assayed in Trenches 1, 2b, 3b (newest discovery), 4 and 9-10. Vein 3b yielded a recent grab sample of 27.61 g Au/T. The southern NW corridor comprises demagnetized ferrodiorite, including many smaller shear zones with intense quartz veining. Similar to the northern corridor, demagnetization is presumably related to shearing, mylonitization and alteration. The southern corridor is being actively prospected with the aim of discovering more gold bearing vein systems similar to those in the northern NW corridor. Refer to www.sagegoldinc.com for a detailed geological map illustrating the northern and southern structural corridors.

Sage Gold President and CEO, Nigel Lees stated; "We have greatly accelerated our exploration program on our three primary gold properties; Golden Extension, Paint Lake and King Solomon Pillars. The gold mineralization at the Golden Extension occurs as coarse gold grains. Therefore, the results of surface sampling and drilling will be highly variable and our exploration program is oriented to intensive surface sampling and highly targeted drilling. We are planning to acquire additional properties in the BGG to augment our extensive land position".

      Technical Information

Assays from drill core reported in this news release were completed by the ALS Chemex Laboratory in Thunder Bay, ON. Drill assays reported above were analyzed using a metallic screen fire assay comprising a fire assay analysis of the plus and minus 100 micron sieved fractions. This process is considered to produce a more accurate evaluation of total gold content in coarse gold systems such as seen in the BGG. These analyses are combined and a total gold content calculated. The fire assay procedure uses lead collection with a silver inquart. The beads are then digested and an atomic absorption finish is used.

Sage Adds Strategic Properties in Beardmore

      http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Sage-Adds-Strategic-ccn-140882…

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 22, 2009) - Sage Gold (TSX VENTURE:SGX - News) announces the addition of the following properties to its land position in the Beardmore-Geraldton Gold camp (BGG). The additional properties are part of Sage's plan to acquire properties that are considered to be strategic to the Company's existing property position. Details of these property acquisitions are detailed below.

Sage President & CEO Nigel Lees commented, "These property additions complement and strategically add to our existing portfolio in the Beardmore - Geraldton Gold camp.
