Die überraschend deutliche Leitzinssenkung der amerikanischen Notenbank um gleich fünf Basispunkte war der Startschuss für eine langfristige Goldrally. Experten sehen sogar ein inflationsbereinigtes rechnerisches neues Hoch von weit über 2000 US$ je Unze. Gründe hierfür gibt es genug. Durch die Leitzinssenkung lässt die Notenbank die Gelddruckmaschine auf Hochtouren laufen, welche eine massive Geldmengenausweitung zur Folge hat und erst in einer Hyperinflation ihr Ende finden könnte. Erste Anzeichen sieht man bereits am Dollar, der nahezu wöchentlich neue Hochs verzeichnen kann. Der Zinsvorteil gegenüber anderen Währungen schrumpft und macht den US-Dollar als Veranlagungswährung weniger interessant. Gerade von dieser Schwäche wird Gold zusätzlich profitieren.
Goldminenaktien, vor allem die sog. Junior Mines, werden von dieser Goldpreisentwicklung aufgrund ihres innewohnenden Hebeleffektes überproportional profitieren. Ein Beispiel macht deutlich. Angenommen der Goldpreis erreicht in ein paar Jahren die 2000 $ Marke. Die Performance würde ca. 161 % entsprechen (Goldpreis z. Zt. 765 US-$). Ein Goldproduzent würde zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt an einer Unze, bei angenommenen full production costs i. H. v. 450 US-$/Unze, einen Gewinn von 315 US-$/Unze erzielen. Erreicht der Goldpreis jedoch die 2000 US-$ Marke, würde bei denselben angenommenen full production costs ein zusätzlicher Gewinn i. H. v. 1235 US-$ zu Buche stehen, eine prozentuale Steigerung i. H. v. satten 392 %. Halten wir fest. Goldanlage physisch ---> 161 % Performance. Performance bei oben genannten Beispiel ---> 392 %. Der Hebel ist deutlich zu erkennen.

Auf der Suche nach solchen Junior Mines fiel mir Claude Resources im besonderen auf. Claude Resources´Hauptprojekt ist die Seabee-Mine, mit einer Lebensdauer von ca. zehn Jahren. Und jetzt kommts. Im zweiten Halbjahr 2007 soll angeblich die Jahresproduktion rund 30.000 Unzen Gold betragen und 2008 dann auf 60.000 Unzen hochgefahren werden. 2010 soll eine Jahresproduktion i. H. v. 80.000 Unzen erreicht werden. Darin liegt der zusätzliche Hebel, der mich absolut reizt. Goldpreissteigerung + Produktionssteigerung.

As the result of a successful underground drilling and development program, the Seabee gold mining operation has increased its gold ounces reserves to 211,100 ounces as at September 30, 2007. This is up from 146,700 ounces as at December 31, 2006, an increase of 44% during the first three quarters of the current year.

Claude Resources Inc. Receives Final Operating Permit for Santoy 8 Gold Project
Claude Resources Inc. (TSX-CRJ; NYSE Amex-CGR) (“Claude” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Santoy 8 Gold Project in north eastern Saskatchewan, Canada has received Ministerial Approval and Operating Permit to advance it from an Exploration Project to a Production Project. Santoy 8 is a satellite deposit located approximately fourteen kilometres (nine miles) east of the Seabee Mine and mill, is accessible by an all weather road and is connected to provincial power grid. This accomplishment is considered a major milestone for the Company and its shareholders.
Neil McMillan, President and CEO stated, “We are extremely pleased to have completed this process. We are very optimistic about the anticipated impact of the Santoy 8 Project on our Seabee Operation and on the Company as a whole. The Santoy 8 Project is already as large or larger than the Seabee ore body was 18 years ago and we expect to mine from this deposit for many years to come.”
Over the life of mine plan for the Seabee Operation, the Company anticipates the Santoy 8 Project to provide up to 50 percent of the overall feedstock to the Seabee central milling facility. The Company expects the Santoy 8 Project to be a positive catalyst in improving production and lowering operating costs at the Seabee operation as a whole.
The Santoy 8 deposit currently contains 40,015 ounces at 7.02 grams per tonne (0.20 ounces per ton) of Reserves, 157,529 ounces at 8.98 grams per tonne (0.26 ounces per ton) in Indicated Resources and 101,955 ounces at 8.10 grams per tonne (0.24 ounces per ton) of Inferred Resources as defined by National Instrument 43-101 to a depth of 250 metres (820 feet). The Company plans to continue exploring the ore body at depth and along strike during 2010.
It is expected that pre-production will commence in the second quarter of 2010 and commercial production will be reached by the first quarter of 2011.

Mineralization in the Santoy region is hosted in siliceous shear zones with sulfide-chlorite-quartz veins and in silicified granitoid sills. True width varies from 1 to greater than 15 metres, with the deposit open along strike and down plunge to the north.

bin bei Claude schon vor einiger Zeit eingestiegen - die machen eigentlich einen solieden Eindruck - Resourcen scheinen ja an allen 3 großen Projekten reichlich vorhanden. Die Grade sind zwar nicht berauschend aber solide.
Mit nur 90 Mio $ Bewertung m.E. massiv unterbewertet.
Allerdings scheinen die nicht in Cash zu schwimmen und die Entwicklung der beiden anderen Projekte dürfte noch einiges kosten - das dürfte wohl aus dem Cash flow nicht uz finanzieren sein - was meint Ihr?

(“Claude” and or the “Company”) achieved record gold production of 21,067 ounces during the first quarter of 2015 at its 100% owned and operated Seabee Gold Operation in Saskatchewan, Canada. This surpassed the previous record of 20,614 ounces of gold set during the third quarter of 2014. The strong first quarter represents an 86% increase in gold production compared to the first quarter of 2014. During the quarter, the Company milled 67,249 tonnes at 10.17 grams of gold per tonne representing a 4% and 77% increase from the first quarter of 2014, respectively. Over the last four quarters, the Company has produced 72,707 ounces of gold.
To date, Santoy Gap ramp up is on pace to achieve its budget of 500 tonnes per day in 2015. During the first quarter, Santoy Gap averaged 432 tonnes per day at approximately 8.33 grams of gold per tonne. The average grade from the Santoy Gap was 9% higher than overall reserve grade but was consistent with reserves in that section of the ore body. During the quarter, the L62 deposit averaged 315 tonnes per day at an average grade of 12.71 grams of gold per tonne. While tonnes were consistent with budgeted throughput, grades were higher than budgeted. First quarter production was also positively impacted by the milling of in-stope ore that was developed during the fourth quarter of 2014. For the remainder of the year, the Company forecasts the average head grades to be more in-line with mineral reserve grades.
"We continue to achieve excellent results from both the L62 and Santoy Gap deposits with higher than budgeted grades and steady production tonnage," stated Brian Skanderbeg, President and CEO. "Our momentum from 2014 has carried over into what is typically our most challenging time of year. Mr. Klassen was previously the Vice President of Finance for Dynatec Corporation from 1988 to 2007 (a TSX listed company from 1997 to 2007) and the Vice President of Finance with the Tonto Group of Companies from 1982 to 1998.
