Was Ist Der REUTERS CRB CCI ?

Der REUTERS CRB CCI (CRB = Commodity Research Bureau) ist der älteste der vier Commodities Indizes ...

Die als Reuters CRB-Index bekannt gewordene Benchmark wurde 1957 eingeführt. In den letzten 50 Jahren wurde die Indexzusammensetzung regelmäßig den Gegebenheiten der Märkte angepasst. Die letzte Änderung fand im Jahr 2005 in Zusammenarbeit mit der US-Investmentbank Jefferies statt. Seitdem besteht der Index aus 19 Rohstoffen. Der REUTERS CRB CCI wird monatlich einem so genannten Rebalancing unterworfen, wodurch die Indexgewichte regelmäßig auf ihren Ausgangswert zurückgebracht werden. Dadurch erhält der Index eine antizyklische Komponente, da Ausweitungen des Indexgewichts bei den Rohstoffen, die im Preis gestiegen sind, regelmäßig gekappt werden; Rohstoffe, deren Gewicht sich aufgrund von Preisrückgängen ermäßigt hat, werden dagegen durch das Rebalancing wieder aufgewertet.

Bureau of Labor Statistics Spot Market Index components: burlap, butter, cocoa beans, copper scrap, corn, cotton, cottonseed oil, hides, hogs, lard, lead scrap, print cloth, rosin, rubber, steel scrap, steers, sugar, tallow, tin, wheat, wool tops and zinc.
