Da der Investika-Thread nicht mehr existiert muß es wohl unter
NATASA MINING LTD weitergehen.
Ich war eigendlich nur Mitleser aber einer muß wohl den Anfang machen.

Gute Sache, fomp
Allerdings solltest du freundlicherweise erwähnen, dass sich die Erfolgsaussichten dadurch nicht kurzfristig gebessert haben. Statt Nickel machen wir nun in Kupfer und es dauert noch ca. 1Jahr bis die Kupfermine an den Start geht. Daher auf aktuellem Niveau kaufen, liegen lassen und Anfang 2010 in sein Depot gucken und freuen

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Natasa Mining Limited., formerly Investika Ltd., said it has completed the sale of Philippine nickel assets to European Nickel Plc.

In May, European Nickel announced it had bought a 19.3 percent interest in Toledo Mining Corp for $22.2 million, and an 18.7 percent direct interest in Berong Nickel Corp. for $24.4 million from Investika.
On June 3, Toledo said the entry of new major shareholder European Nickel will assist the company to commercially develop its nickel resource in the Philippines. [e-mail] kkb/ak

Folge dem Link, klick auf die PDF Datein vom 19.06. und lies Dir dort alles durch.

Alternativ gehst Du bei wo auf Foren, Australien und suchst dort die Einträge zu Natasa. Da steht das Prozedere.

...gibt es die Meldung, dass die chilenischen Gewerkschaften die Regierung unter Druck setzen, die Rohstoffindustrie zu verstaatlichen. Chile ist mit Peru zusammen immerhin der grösste Kupfer-Produzent, wenn ich da noch richtig informiert bin. Das könnte erstens bedeuten, dass nach Venezuela, Boliven und Equador jetzt auch noch Chile zur "no go Area" für das private Kapital werden könnte. Also Kursverluste bei allen privaten Firmen, die in Chile Operations haben oder explorieren. Und zweitens, dass der Kuoferpreis steigt, einmal wegen der Streikdrohung und dann, da staatliche Unternehmen nunmal als weniger effizient eingeschätzt werden und man evtl. damit rechnet, das der Output weniger gross sein wird, als erwartet.

Ja, ich habe gerade gesehen - mehr durch Zufall - Betroffene könnten hier u.a. auch die sowieso schon durch das Berong Projekt gebeutelten Investika sein. Neuer Name jetzt ja Natasa Mining (ASX/AIM:NSN) Würde deren Puquios copper project in Chile treffen.
PFS im August erwartet. 94% Anteil. 29,9Mt@0,59%Cu; geplante Produktion 15.000tpa; vorläufige Capex 130m$.

Na, mal schauen, was in Chile kommende Woche so passiert. Ob dort weiter Druck gemacht wird, oder sich das verflüchtigt. Die Reuters-Meldung liest sich aber ziemlich ernst.

Chilean Copper Project (Direct and indirect interest 94.6%)
Puquios is an open-cut, heap leach SX EW project located in northern Chile. The project is planned to produce 15,000tpa of copper cathode commencing in early 2010. The completion of the bankable feasibility study and finalisation of project financing of the Puquios project remains the major focus for Natasa during 2008.
Natasa’s total equity in the project increased to 94.6% during the quarter.
The bankable feasibility study continued throughout the quarter. Progress was largely to plan, with the key activities undertaken being:
• Some additional assay work from the recently completed in-fill drilling programme was carried out. The revised geological model/resource evaluation was close to completion with a new JORC compliant resource statement expected to be available in August. The closer spaced drill hole data should now result in a geological model with the majority of the resource in the Measured and Indicated categories.
• The Phase 1 metallurgical test programme report indicated an orebody with high copper recovery and low acid consumption. The Phase II test programme commenced in May and is designed to confirm the results of the previous testwork and provide additional process design information. Preliminary results of this programme are largely as expected.
• The Process Plant basic engineering continued. Technical packages suitable for quotation purposes were prepared for the majority of plant/infrastructure requirements and forwarded to potential suppliers. Project capital estimates are expected to be available in August.
• Detailed mine planning and operating cost estimation will commence with the completion of the geological model.

Negotiations are underway for the acquisition of a new water source and the accompanying water rights license. This additional water source will provide a total supply in excess of estimated project requirements.
A Letter of Intent was entered into for the potential supply of sulphuric acid to meet the planned project requirements. The price and other conditions of supply are to be agreed with the execution of a binding contract.
The public consultation process for the revised Environmental Assessment commenced in June. Assuming that no major issues are raised in this process, the current anticipated date for obtaining the main environmental license is October.
The target completion date for the bankable feasibility study is the end of September.
Preliminary economic analysis of the Puquios project indicates robust project economics over a wide range of copper prices
