Perfect World konnte mit einer Umsatzsteigerung um 157 % auf $ 48,8 Mio. ausgezeichnete Quartalszahlen berichten. Durch das Erdbeben war an drei Tagen die Plattform ausgefallen was die Anzahl der bezahlenden Spieler in den Tagen von 1,7 Mio. im Vorjahr auf aktuell 1,5 Mio. zurückfallen ließ. Durch einen um 25 % höheren Umsatz pro Spieler in der Gesamtperiode konnte unterm Strich auch der Gewinn weiter ausgebaut werden. Der lag um 205 % auf $ 24 Mio. über dem Vorjahr ($ 0,43 pro Anteil). Der Wert lag um 1 Cent unter den Erwartungen von Wall Street, was zu einer kleinen Verkaufswelle führte.
