die Null-Umsätze hatten mich auch gewundert. Vielleicht hilft ein Bid, dass akzeptabel ist.Notfalls bleibt sonst nur die USA zum Kauf - besser heute als später. Im Mai ist noch eine Messe, auf der Path 1 vertreten ist (siehe Homepage).

In den USA wurden gestern 104200 Stk. gehandelt. Das ist eine mehr als Verzehnfachung der letzten Umsätze.

Langsam scheint die Masse erkannt zu haben, was einige wohl schon vor 1,5 Jahren wussten.

ich habe ein applet von webstreet und dort bekomme ich zwar einen kurs unter PNWK aber bei bid/ask stehen 2 fragezeichen?? weiss jemand warum?

falsch formuliert, bei bid-ask steht gar nichts und die fragezeichen sind bei dem bd-ask volume???und das seit etlichen tagen.

Bei Werten die in den "Pink Sheets" gehandelt werden, gibt es keine Bid/Ask Taxe und auch kein Volume. Wird sich erst wieder ändern wenn Path ordentlich am OTC-BB gehandelt wird. Kann nicht mehr lange dauern, da das letzte Filing am 4.4. eingereicht wurde.

Leitch will invest US $10 million and 200,000 shares of Leitch for an undisclosed number of
newly-issued shares of Path 1 class A common stock.

Leitch will obtain the exclusive right to incorporate Path 1`s TrueCircuit(TM) technology into
their equipment for sale to the broadcast industry. This transaction is expected to close within
the next few days, at which time additional details may be announced.

The relationship with Leitch accelerates the distribution of Path 1`s technology to the
marketplace through Leitch`s distribution channel.

Path 1 has developed a convergence technology that enables real-time multimedia to be
delivered over a single IP network with Quality of Service (QoS) usually associated with
circuit-switched networks. Broadcast and DVD quality video, CD quality audio, telephony
and other time-critical information can all be transported simultaneously over one Ethernet
network, without the latency and jitter characteristic of current IP systems.

TrueCircuit(TM) can be provided as intellectual property, integrated as a component of an
overall system or be embedded in TrueCircuit(TM) hardware products that incorporate our

I regret that we could not respond sooner. Nearly all our people, including myself and our investor relations contact, were at NAB all this week and most of last week at what turned out to be an extremely successful conference. It is difficult to publish a release during the conference. We did not have access to our computers and nearly all of our attention needed to be involved in making new contacts, which was the purpose of the conference.

ES scheint so als ob die Technologie von Path als sehr gut aufgenommen wurde. Auf jedenfall wird wohl die Investor Relation von Path jetzt langsam besser. Ich denke das dringendste ist jetzt, daß hoffentlich bald wieder eine Notierung an der OTC-BB geschieht, denn sonst verpuffen die Meldungen in den Pinksheets.

High-Tech-Pfad führt nach Walldorf

Wie eine Computermesse-Präsentation in Las Vegas Arbeitsplätze ins Rhein-Neckar-Dreieck bringt

Vor einer Woche ging in Las Vegas eine Schwester der dt. CeBit, die NAB, zu Ende. Auf dieser Messe stellte die US-High-Tech-Firma „Path 1“ eine Technik vor, die nach Firmenangaben innerhalb von Monaten das Internet revolutionieren wird. Es geht um saubere Übertragung von Ton und Bild via Standleitung oder Internet, und zwar in „Echtzeit“, also unmittelbar und direkt – zum Beispiel per Handy mit eingebauter Kamera in Dolby/DVD-Qualität, egal von welchem Ort der Welt.
Nach Pressemeldungen vom Donnerstag ist die Computerfirma Intel in diese Technologie eingestiegen: der Intel-Prozessor unterstützt das Path-1-Gateway. Die europäische Niederlassung von Path 1 wird derzeit in Walldorf aufgebaut und soll von dort aus den Markt in der alten Welt aufrollen.
Es waren die „weichen Standortfaktoren“ ausschlaggebend für die geographische Wahl des Firmensitzes.
Aus steuerlichen Gründen wird die Holding ohnehin in Holland angesiedelt, wie Investor John Goedegebuure mitteilte. Aber das operative Geschäft, die Präsentation der Referenzstation für Europa wird in Walldorf aufgebaut und dort werden auch die Arbeitsplätze geschaffen. Zum Start im Sommer sollen etwa 10 Menschen in der neuen Firma arbeiten. Mit der Tendenz steigend.
Ab September will Path-1-Europa nach dem Börsengang auch zum NASDAQ und am Neuen Markt in Frankfurt notiert sein.
Schon laufen auf halbformellen Schienen Gespräche mit SAP in Walldorf und mit Siemens.
Die Entscheidung von John Goedegebuure. Mit dem Unternehmen in den Großraum Heidelberg zu gehen, begründete der Holländer außerdem mit einem bunten Strauß weiterer sog. Weicher Standortfaktoren. „Meine Partner haben Beziehungen, Geld und Risikobereitschaft. Die Gegend ist für qualifizierte Mitarbeiter attraktiv und SAP braint hier.“, so Goedegeburre. Mit „brainen“ umschreibt er die Summe der gesammten innovativen Energie, die in und rund um den Walldorfer Software-Giganten ständig neu entsteht.
Die guten Kontakte tragen schon erste Früchte. Aus der Investorengruppe verlautet, dass SAP und Siemens „derzeit prüfen, in welcher Form sich eine Zusammenarbeit ergeben kann“. In wenigen Tagen wird in Holland als europäisches Niedrigsteuerland eine Holding gegründet, und dann sollen auch die Europäer via „Path 1“ mit dem Handy oder einer Video-Kamera die Bilder von Familienfesten in Echtzeit, also „live“, ins Internet stellen können.

laßt Euch auch am Tag der Arbeit nicht nervous machen. Path 1 Network hat - neben den guten Nachrichten von der NAB 2000 (Technik) und dem Agreement mit Leich (Finanzierung, Marketing, Vertriebskanal) am 28. April 2000 endlich sein hoffentlich letztes und entgültiges filing abgegeben, so daß das Verschwinden vom pink sheet in den nächsten Wochen erfolgen kann. Wenn die formellen Voraussetzungen (vernünftiges Listing im nasdaq) erfüllt sind - die technischen und finanziellen Voraussetzungen sind vorhanden - Marketing ist teilweise vorhanden, muß aber besser werden - erst dann kann der Kurs ins Laufen kommen. Einige Wochen wird das noch mindestens dauern. Aber dann . . .

Da gibts einen gewaltigen Unterschied
Das angehängte E an den herkömmlichen Ticker hat Path 1 exakt einen Monat, bevor eine bestimmte Frist abgelaufen ist, bekommen.
Was hat es mit dieser Frist aufsich. Ein Unternehmen, das am OtcBB gelistet ist, hat die Aufgabe bis zu einem bestimmten Termin (deadline) ein Formular 10/12a auszufüllen um weiterhin am Otc gelistet zu werden.
Die Börsenaufsicht hängt genau einen Monat vor Verstreichung dieser Frist das E hintendran, wenn dieses Formular (filing) entweder bei der Sec (Börsenaufsicht) noch nicht eingegangen ist oder nicht genehmigt wurde. Das E soll dem Anleger lediglich aufmerksam machen, dass es eng werden kann. Die Deadline von Path 1 war am 8.März. Vorzeitig hat uns die Firma aber gewarnt mit einer PressRelease, dass sie gegebenfalls als PinkSheet gehandelt werden, falls die Frist nicht einghalten wird, was dann leider auch geschah. Am 8.März viel das E weg und Path 1 wurde ein PS. Pink Sheets werden nur außerbörslich gehandelt. Path 1 versucht nun unter imensen Druck, das Re-Listing zu schaffen. Am 28.April ging eine verbesserte Version des filing bei der Sec ein, wir hoffen alle das es das letzte war und dass die Sec einen Handel am OtcBB wieder genehmigt. In vier bis sechs Wochen wird das wohl geschehen. Also mich beunruhigt die momentane Lage gar nicht. Nutzt Kurse unter 13€ zum Kaufen, denn man weiß nie, wann es los geht. Schaut euch noch mal genau den Artikel aus dem Rhein-Neckar oben an. Glaubt das und der $$$Regen wird über lang kommen.

Der alte CEO Fellmann geht in den Aufsichtsrat - gut so für das kommende Geschäft. Der neue CEO hat seine Erfahrungen als vice president u.a. bei compaq computers, SAI technology und unisys gemacht - er hat im Gegensatz zu Fellman sehr viel Erfahrung im operating business. Für deutsche Ohren mag es negativ klingen, wenn ein Manager bei mehreren Unternehmen angestellt war - in den USA ist dieses sehr viel eher üblich und positiv zu werten. M.E. waren die Meldungen im letzten Monat - abgesehen vom Listing (nur vorübergehender Natur) alle sehr positiv. Ich sehe der Zukunft sehr optimistisch entgegen.

kann mir mal jemand sagen, warum dieser Kurs wieder in die Seitwärtslage geht wie nach der letztjährigen Messe!
Wenn die sich nicht beeilen, werden sie von neuen Technologien vom Markt geputzt, bevor die sich den ersten großen
Auftrag geangelt haben!
Klar ist das Umfeld zur Zeit nicht ideal, vor allem nicht für Start Up`s und solche, die an die NASDAQ wollen!
Aber eine so gute Technik müsste doch eigentlich große Akzeptanz finden!!

Es wird erst wieder richtig aufwärts gehen, wenn das Listing am OTC-BB festeht. Und das kommt wohl bald. Der richtige Schub sollte erst im 3 und 4 Quartal kommen wenn erste Erlöse vermeldet werden können und vielleicht ein Nasdaq-Listing ansteht.

Terminator hat auf der einen Seite schon recht, wenn er sagt, dass der Kurs erst wieder nach dem ReListing etwas in Bewegung kommt. Auch mit der Aussage, dass dieses sehr bald geschehen wird, stimme ich überein.
Zu JoeUp, die Technik ist ja soweit entwickelt, dass sie bald vermarktet werden könnte. Aber das große Problem ist, dass die Technik und die Firma wie ein Bombeneinschlag auf den Markt kommen muß, um gegen die GlobalPlayers zu bestehen. Würde jetzt ab und zu mal ein PG1 oder andere der 4 Produkte verkauft, so sind diese schnell von den großen Firmen kopiert, modifiziert und diese können dann Dank ihrem großen Namen den Markt auch in diesem Bereich beherrschen. Mit anderen Worten ist eine gut durchdachte Marketing Strategie von Nöten, um die Produkte erfolgreich im Markt zu platzieren. Dafür werden in diesem Jahr erstmal große Verträge im Bereich Broadcasting geschlossen, die dem Kurs Dynamik verleihen werden. Die richtige Kursrakete werden wir aber nicht so schnell sehen, vielmehr einen stetigen Anstieg des Kurses, der dann aber auch fundamental nachvollziehbar ist, worauf der Vorstand besonders viel Wert nimmt.
Mit Path 1 sitzt man auf jeden Fall im richtigen Boot: ich empfehle weiterhin zum Nachkaufen.

got this answer by e-mail from the chief financial officer today regarding re-listing on the OTC:

With respect to our listing on the OTC, Path 1 filed a Form 10 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) on March
23, 2000. Since that time, the Company has filed two Amendments to address certain questions by the SEC. The filing will
automatically go effective on May 22, 2000.
Therefore, we believe that the company’s stock will be reinstated to the OTC within a few weeks and are doing everything
possible to effect that reinstatement. However, we cannot guarantee that the SEC will not have additional comments that could
delay the NASD from re-instating PNWK to the OTC.

kann mich JoeUp nur anschließen. Langsam sollte sich das investierte Geld vermehren und nicht wie seit fast 1 Jahr mit Kursen, so um die 10 Euro (mit kurzen Ausrutschern nach oben u. unten) rumdümpeln.

im Vergleich zu anderen I-Nets hat sich Path1 doch, was den prozentualen Rückgang anbelangt, ganz gut gehalten.

Ich kann mich nur immer wieder wiederholen: seit geduldig !

Mich beunruhigt der Kurs keineswegs, da mir klar ist, dass im Moment
noch nichts dahintersteckt. Ich meine es werden noch keine operativen
Gewinne verbucht. Diese sind erst für das nächste Jahr geplant, denn
Path 1 muß erst eine gute Infrastruktur zur Vermarktung aufbauen.
Erst dann können wir eine fundamental gerechtfertigte positive Kursent-
wicklung erwarten.
Verträge und Kooperationen werden dieses Jahr vom Himmel wie Regen
fallen, und ich meine damit keine Sprühregen. Die Verträge werden mit
großen Konzernen geschlossen. Aus sicherer Quelle weiß ich, dass Gespräche
mit der teuersten finnischen Handy-Firma im Gange sein sollen. In Sachen Broadcasting Over IP siehts auch gut aus: Leo K
habe wohl auch schon an Elliots Tür geklopft. Bitte
fragt mich nicht, woher ich diese Informationen habe, denn ich werde
es euch natürlich nicht sagen. Nicht weil ich euch ärgern will,
sondern weil ich nichts sagen darf. Nehmt es so hin oder nicht. Ich
kann nur soviel sagen: es hat etwas mit der Niederlassung in Walldorf
zu tun. Fahrt am 16 nach Amsterdam, da könnt ihr die Jungs selber fragen.

Ich habe nicht die Absicht, den Kurs zu pushen. Ich will euch nur
beruhigen und euch helfen nicht das Vertrauen in Path 1 zu verlieren.

Mit "wenn" dachte ich eigentlich an einen begrenzten Zeitraum.
Ich gehe davon aus, daß man wesentlich mehr veröffentlichen
könnte, damit aber auf das otc-relisting wartet.
Auf Anfrage wurde mir nochmals bestätigt, daß die Nasdaq-
Notierung weiter vorangetrieben wird und alles "nach Plan" ver-
läuft. Unzufrieden ist man hingegen mit dem doch sehr schleppen-
dem Verfahren für das Relisting.
Wenn ich das Gespräch richtig deute, konnten schon erhebliche
Umsätze generiert werden.

Bei Path1 habe ich nun wirklich keine Bedenken bezüglich der
zukünftigen Entwicklung. Eine reine Zeitfrage.

In Zusammenhang mit der Präsentation in Amsterdam sind M. Elliott und R. Fellman heute in Deutschland gelandet, wie mir die Zentrale in San Diego auf Anfrage telefonisch bestätigte.

Gespräche mit der Kirch-Gruppe und Bertelsmann sind bereits anberaumt. Mit zwei weiteren Firmen aus Walldorf soll ebenfalls Kontakt aufgenommen werden. Vor allen Dingen die beiden erst genannten Verhandlungen sollten den Durchbruch in Deutschland bringen.

Produkt, das Leitch exclusiv für - welchen???? - Markt vermarkten soll!
Wenn sie minimal verkaufen, soll Leitch im 2.Jahr 1. Mio zahlen, in den anderen
Jahren entprechend mehr.

Ist Leitch der Notnagel, auf den Path1 hofft. Haben die einen schlechten Deal gemacht
und sich in die Hand eines Vertriebes gegeben???

Wie gut ist Leitch, da eine Gegenleistung auch die Forschung sein soll?

Das ganze scheint mir auf viel Vertrauen aufgebaut zu sein. Ist Leitch als nunmehr
großer Shareholder auch bemüht, die nötigen Einahmen für einen hohen
Sharholdervalue zu erwirtschaften???

Jedenfalls fällt von einem Fünftel der Produkte erstmals die Einnahmen aus!

Sensationen wurden nicht verkündet,soviel vorab.

Die Technik-Demo war etwas improvisiert aber die dotCAM funktionierte online realtime und mit sehr guter
Bild- und Bewegungsqualität.

Neue gewinnträchtige Abschlüsse sind z.Zt. nicht verlautbar. Die Company will 2001 schwarze Zahlen schreiben
und plant 2002 einen Gewinn von 100 Mio.$ zu erwirtschaften.

Kooperationen mit klingenden Namen gibt es einige,so z.Bsp.:Intel,Panasonic,Kodak,Cisco,Motorola,um
die bekanntesten Firmen zu nennen.

Zum Relisting an der OTC: Es müssen noch 3 Nachfragen der Sec. beantwortet werden. M. Elliot ist sich sicher,

Bei einem Gewinn von US$ 100 Mio für Path 1 handelt es sich definitiv um eine Falschinformation (evtl. mit Umsatz verwechsel ;-)). Die akteulle MK beträgt nach www.stockpoint.de 103.44M US$. Das würde ein KGV von 1 !!!!!!!! bedeuten.

meine Englischkenntnisse sind im Buisinessbereich nicht fundiert.
Ich kann mich erinnern, dass auf der eingeblendeten Grafik "revenue 2002: 100 Mio.$"
zu lesen war, wobei ich mal revenue mit Gewinn interpretiert habe.
Wäre für korrekte Deutung des Begriffs dankbar.

Auf die Konkurrenzsituation angesprochen meinte Ron Fellman,es gäbe z.Zt. keine Firma,die
in der Lage sei mit dem Standart QoS eine Datenkompression durchzuführen um bewegte Bilder realtime online zu übermitteln.

Für die Zukunft sei man gut gerüstet,da man an weiteren Projekten arbeite, um den technologischen
Vorsprung weiter auszubauen.

Man habe bisher jeden Dollar in die Technik investiert, um die Produkte noch schneller an den Markt zu bringen.

Auf und Ausbau des Vertriebsnetzes sei jetzt neben der Technologie das Hauptziel.Sie hätten ein unglaublich
grosses Interesse für ihre Technik bei zahlreichen Firmen festgestellt,und sie seien von daher von der weltweiten

nach Ansicht des Bildes bin ich mir nicht so ganz sicher , ob es der von dir gemeinte Elliott ist. In Amsterdam hatte er keinen Bart
und hatte komplett graue Haare.
Vorschlag:Mail Path 1 an und kläre die Sache für uns alle.
Über finanzielle Dinge wurde nur sehr marginal gesprochen.

Wenn ich neue Informationen auch zur Entwicklung von Path 1 in Deutschland habe werde ich sie sofort ins Board setzen.

Leitch Technology to issue 2 million shares
TORONTO, June 19 (Reuters) - Leitch Technology Corp.(Toronto:LTV.TO - news), supplier of digital audio and video gear to the broadcasting, cable, telecoms and Internet industry, said on Monday it has signed a deal with underwriters under which it will issue 2 million shares at C$26.40 each for total proceeds of C$52.8 million ($36 million).

The issue is expected to close around July 7.

Leitch shares closed at C$26.55 on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Friday. They have ranged between C$28.50 and C$15.50 in the past 52 weeks.

Scheint so , als das R. Slansky die letzten Fragen am Montag bei der SEC geklärt hat. Das Filing vom 19.6.00 sollte jetzt wohl hoffentlich das letzte zur Registrierung sein. Jetzt kann die SEC schnell ihren Stempel darunter machen und dann werden wir wohl am OTC auch bald wider mehr Umsätze sehen.
