Saturn Begins 2008 Drill Program on Beavis Listwanite Lode-Gold Property

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 14, 2008) - Saturn Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SMI) ("Saturn" or the "Company") announces that diamond drilling has begun on the Beavis property located immediately north of the town of Atlin, BC. The Beavis is a potential listwanite lode-gold property on which an inclined shaft (now flooded) was sunk in 1904 and development work was done on two underground levels. The property has not been previously drilled.

In spring of 2008 Saturn personnel completed a sampling program consisting of 89 rock samples which were submitted for fire assays and ICP analysis. Several samples returned elevated values of gold (up to 1,196.20 g/t Au) and silver (up to 537.3 g/t Ag), see chart below for selected samples.

Company said drilling should be completed this weekend.



Bin heute an der CVE eingestiegen, da die Resultate noch einige Zeit beanspruchen, kann es sein, dass mein Einstieg noch zu früh war, möchte aber den Start nicht verpassen.

Meiner Meinung nach ein klarer Kauf

ich sags dir...mir geht das ganze schon am a....
cdb macht mich zur zeit fertig, es tut sich 0
sehe derzeit die chancen bei 0/100 obwohl ich vor ein paar wochen noch pos. eingestellt war.

habe mir SMI und auch SWR angeschaut...bin am überlegen hier einzusteigen...beide haben die permits vor CDB & co. angefragt. d.h. sie könnten früher mit dem bohrprogramm beginnen.
aber ich habe mich noch nicht durchgelesen ob sie auch genug geld haben!?

laut Meldung vom 14.August 2008 haben die schon mit dem Bohren begonnen...

... und bei den ersten Probebohrungen haben die unter anderem 1196.20 g/Tonne Gold gefunden. Ich denke, das ist doch verdammt viel.
Natürlich ist es so bei explorern, wie schon sonne11 geschrieben hat, Chance/Riskio 10/90

Sollte sich das Kilo Gold /Tonne bestätigen, so wird dies den SP mit Garantie (meine Meinung) hochtreiben. Darum bin ich mal dabei.

Wie auch aus dem can board zu lesen ist, haben SMI das Bohrprogramm schon abgeschlossen, und Proben sind im Labor.

Hi Poseidon

Ich glaube doch eher, dass es sich dabei um einen Kommafehler
handelt, den über 1kg Gold/To finde ich wirklich verdammt viel.
So etwas habe ich noch nie gelesen.
Normalerweise handelt es sich um zweistellige gr/To, was auch die
anderen Bohrungen bestätigen.

Aber vielleicht stimmt es ja, nur komisch, dass der Kurs mit diesen
doch tollen - auch die gr/to sind nicht schlecht - Ergebnissen nicht anspringt. Normalerweise nimmt der Kurs gute News immer
vorweg.

Bin gespannt, was das Labor bestätigt!

bin deswegen auch nur mit 1,5k can $ (vorerst) dabei

das würde einen fulminanten Anstieg des Sp geben, sollten sich die Angaben als richtig erweisen.

Saturn Minerals & Swift Resources Retain Barry Ryan for Saskatchewan Joint-Venture

(TSX VENTURE:SWR) ("Swift") (the "Companies"), announce that they have retained Dr. Barry Ryan, Ph.D, P.Geo, in a technical advisory capacity for the Companies' Saskatchewan coal joint-venture (see Saturn and Swift news release May 28, 2008).

For the past 18 years (1989 - 2008), Dr. Ryan has been the coal and coalbed methane ("CBM") specialist for the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources, British Columbia. During this period he published numerous coal and CBM studies providing a resource of information on coal and CBM in British Columbia.

Prior to 1989, D. Ryan was employed in industry for eight years with Crowsnest Resources Limited ("Crowsnest"), a subsidiary of Shell Canada. Prior to his position with Crowsnest, Dr. Ryan worked at the University of British Columbia from 1976 to 1981 as a Research Associate and Assistant Lecturer.

Honours Geology (1967); Professional Teachers Certificate (1971); and attained his Doctorate from the University of British Columbia in 1973 (Structural Geology and Isotope Studies). Saturn Minerals and Swift Resources Receive Coal Prospecting Permits

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 18, 2008) - Saturn Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SMI) ("Saturn") & Swift Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SWR) ("Swift") (the "Companies"), announce that an initial 25 coal prospecting permits have been received on behalf of the Companies from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources. The Permits are for lands located south and northwest of the recent discovery made by Goldsource Mines Inc. and cover 19,200 hectares (192 sq. km., map attached, please click the following link to view: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/smi918swr.pdf).

Comfort letters giving priority sequence ("first in line") for an additional 215,040 hectares have been received on behalf of the Companies (news releases dated May 12, June 25, & July 17, 2008). Saturn Completes 2008 Drill Program on Atlin Properties

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 26, 2008) - Saturn Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SMI) ("Saturn" or the "Company") announces that the Company has completed diamond drill programs on the Beavis and McKee Creek listwanite/lode-gold target properties located, respectively, 2 km north and 15 km south of the town of Atlin in northwestern British Columbia.

In 1904, an inclined shaft was sunk on the Beavis property, and development work was done on 2 levels. There is no record of the results of this work, and the property was never drilled prior to 2008. Saturn completed an 8 hole 855 meter drill program on the Beavis in early September.

On the McKee Creek property, formerly an important placer gold producer, Saturn completed a 4 hole 694 meter drill program, designed to test gold occurrences located in hard-rock by Saturn in 2007.

A total of 173 core samples (from both programs) have been submitted for assay. Both drill programs were conducted under the supervision of Krzysztof Mastalerz, PhD, P.Geo, a Qualified Person under 43-101 standards, who has reviewed and approved the technical contents of this news release.

Diamond drilling services were provided by Kluane Drilling Ltd. of Whitehorse, Yukon.
