LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Management of SBD International, (News) Inc. , now refocused as a solar power systems integrator has indicated it will seek at least a partial rezoning of the property in which it has a joint venture interest in Chiefland Florida to allow construction of a small solar farm (Less than 20 MW)

Terms of the agreement executed last year indicate that the property owner, Owen Baynard will contribute the property to a joint venture and SBD LLC will manage the design, construction and marketing for the project.

CEO C. Michael Nurse stated, "The 49 acre property has been approved for subdivision into approximately 247 lots. However, given the current Housing market we think a better use of the land may be to place a small solar farm on the property. Given the state initiative to encourage solar power and Florida light and Power's commitment to purchase power from independent power producers, we believe that if we can secure a change in zoning to allow even a portion of the land to be used as a solar farm, the immediate revenue stream even at 7 cents a watt would be tremendous for our income. It would be a great project for our planned manufacturing plant to be able to produce panels for and we would be able to showcase our panels and our integrated systems on one project for which we already have access."

SBD Plans Solar Farm on Property in Florida

SBD International Inc., a solar power systems integrator, has announced that it will seek at least a partial rezoning of the property in which it has a joint venture interest in Chiefland, Florida to allow construction of a small solar farm with a capacity of up to 20 megawatts (MW).

...meint hier jemand, dass es bald rappelt. Im Moment bedienen sich scheinbar in den USA einige hin und her. Es könnte schon sein, dass es eine neue Story gibt, welche dann auch pfuntzt.
In Florida scheinen so einige ihre Wiesen mit Solarpanelen aufwerten zu wollen, bei noch landwirtschaftlicher Nutzung der Flächen gibt es sogar Steuerfreiheit. Mal sehen, was OB und CMN sich hier einfallen lassen.
In einem US Board hofft man schon auf Kurse um die 0,20 US $, also könnte man bei jetzigem Einstieg schon was für Polster tun.

Aber verdammt heiß!!!!!!

SBD International Inc has changed its name to Solargy Systems Inc effective October 15, 2008 as per a preliminary information statement filed on September 30, 2008. Concurrent with the name change the company has reversed it stock in a ratio of 2500 to 1.
