Romarco Intercepts 37 m of 7.9 g/t & 55 m of 6 g/t at Haile

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Sep 23, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (R) (the "Company") is pleased to announce assay results from several drill holes at the Haile Gold Mine, in South Carolina. All holes returned significant results which is typified by those from hole DDH 301, which returned a composite sequence of 37 meters of 7.9 g/t including a 21.7 meter intercept of 11.62 g/t. Hole DDH 305 returned a composite zone of 54.8 meters of 6.01 g/t gold including a 25.1 meter intercept of 10.77 g/t gold. All drill results are within the confines of the designed open pit but were not included in the recently release new resource estimate (see press release dated September 4, 2008). The current measured and indicated resource is 1.5 million ounces of gold (34.9 million tonnes at 1.34 g/t). There is an additional 678,630 of inferred resources (26 million tonnes at 0.81 g/t).

Romarco is currently drilling exploration holes in the northeast section of the property. The mineralized zone continues to remain open in three directions.

The current drilling is being performed by Boart Longyear. The core samples are being assayed by Inspectorate Labs in Sparks, NV. The core was quartered and sampled with control samples inserted. The results of the control samples were within acceptable ranges. Along with permanent Romarco staff on sight, the current work is being overseen by Roberts and Schaefer of Salt Lake City as well as Gustavson & Associates of Boulder, CO. Hi, bin seit gestern mir dabei und habe mir in Canada ein paar Stücke geholt!
die Jungs haben 15 Mio Cash , davon 12 free und keine Schulden!
sicherlich mußten ein paar von den Instis´s in der letzten Zeit liquidieren wegen eigener Probleme - was zu dem derzeitigen Kurs geführt hat........

-Romarco hat im übrigen ca. 2,2 Mio Unzen Gold nach NI43-101, wurde erst im Sommer veröffentlicht

das ist ein Marktwert von knapp 2 Mrd $ - aber das ist relativ

wichtig ist:
1. - das Deposit ist nach 3 Seiten hin offen, und was da noch geht haben sie gestern bewiesen!

2.-und es liegt nicht allzu tief!

3.- im polit.stabiliem Umfeld........+ sehr Minenfreundlich

Romarco Expands Drilling at Haile

SPARKS, NV--(Marketwire - September 25, 2008) - ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSX-V: R) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has received approval for an additional 60,000 feet (18,288 meters) of drilling at the Haile Gold Mine. This represents approximately 65 additional holes at a 700 feet (213 meters) average depth. In this expanded drill program, the Company will be conducting in-fill drilling, step out drilling and deep drilling to test the down-dip extensions of mineralized zones by drilling some holes to depths of 1500 feet (457 meters). To complement its current drill program and increase the rate of drilling and results, the Company will be adding an RC drill rig to its current program prior to year end. To date, the Company has completed more than 27,000 feet (8,250 meters) of core drilling and drilling will continue on the property for the next 12 months and perhaps beyond.

A new NI 43-101 report will be available in October. The current NI 43-101 report filed on SEDAR is now outdated (outmoded) by the new technical knowledge we have gained from the drilling, assaying, metallurgical testing and engineering study work completed over the last 10 months. The previous 43-101 technical report was completed by Behre Dolbear of Denver, CO when Romarco acquired the Haile Gold Mine from Kinross Gold and another private party (October 2007). The technical report was based on historic information and data from Amax Gold in the early 1990s.

The Company's extensive work through confirmation drilling, exploration drilling, metallurgical testing and various engineering studies over the last 10 months has evolved into a more effective and much more positive mine plan for Haile. Some of the significant items to be updated in the new 43-101 include a near doubling of the measured and indicated gold resources from 780,000 (historic resource by Amax) to a current 1.5 million ounce resource (see press release dated September 4, 2008 and detailed table on the website at www.romarco.com). Additionally, the original 6 deposits noted in the Amax work have been assimilated into the 3 current modeled deposits. The larger merged deposits enhance the economics of the project. The Company anticipates 2 new deposits may emerge from continued exploration drilling. Detailed metallurgical recoveries, gold to silver ratios, mine design, process design, detailed cost figures and production profiles are being finalized and will be reported in October, which will illustrate that the overall economic feasibility of Haile has improved significantly.

All holes returned significant results including DDH-307 which returned a composite sequence of 49.4 meters of 3.69 g/t including a 6 meter intercept of 10.44 g/t and DDH-316 which returned 65.2 meters of 2.41 g/t starting at 163.4 meters. Most of these holes represent new mineralization from the lateral and down dip step out extensions of the northern zone which, like several other known zones, remain open in strike and down dip directions. Many of these open zones remain under explored and will be the targets of future drilling. In addition, DDH-312 results show that near surface mineralization can also be expanded on the property. All the 2008 drilling results continue to demonstrate the significant potential for mineral resource expansion at the Haile Gold Mine.

Romarco Files Updated Haile Gold Mine Project NI 43-101 Technical Report

(CDNX:R.V - News) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has filed an updated NI 43-101 Technical Report in respect of the Haile Gold Mine Project, completed by Gustavson Associates, LLC of Boulder, CO. Gustavson was responsible for completing the independent mineral resource estimate, announced in a press release dated Sept. 4, 2008. The new mineral resource represents a 92% increase in the measured and indicated category for a total of 1.5 million ounces of gold with an additional 678,000 ounces of gold in the Inferred category.

Romarco Expands Haile North Zone With New 83.5m Intercept at 4.0 g/t Au

SPARKS, NEVADA--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 29, 2008 -- ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (CDNX:R.V - News) (the "Company") is pleased to announce assay results from several exploration holes at its Haile Mine in South Carolina. These holes were drilled to test the strike and dip extension of the gold mineralization on the northern trend open pit target zone. The holes intersected substantial mineralization (up to 83 meters thick averaging 4 g/t Au) that expands the northern zone 50 meters to the north beyond the drilled limits used for this month's published NI43-101 resource. The new drilling indicates the north zone maintains a +50 meter thick core that is interpreted to follow a primary northeast corridor. This zone remains open in three directions and is currently being tested by ongoing exploration drilling. The comparison of the new drill results versus existing results can be seen through a descriptive map and cross section appearing on www.romarco.com later this week.

All these new holes were drilled to the south at a moderate to steep angle to cross the mineralization at approximately true thickness. All of the mineralized zones intersected were hosted within silicified quartz-sericite-pyrite phyllites or nearby sheared phyllite.

DDH-317 encountered a 49.4 meter (162 feet) zone of 2.8 g/t Au that represents an expansion 30 meters north of results earlier this month (see Press Release dated Oct. 15, 2008). DDH-318 encountered 17.5 meters (57.5 feet) of 19.9 g/t Au adjacent to a partially mineralized shear zone and further expands the known zone 24 meters to the southeast. The center of this interval from DDH-318 contained visible gold at 203.5 meters. DDH-319, drilled under the DDH-318 intercept, encountered 60 meters (196 feet) of 3.45 g/t Au. The comparison of DDH-318 and DDH-319 indicates that the continuity of this northern zone improves to the north and northeast.

DDH-320 was drilled between DDH-316 (62.5m @ 2.4 g/t) and DDH-317 (49.4m @ 2.8 g/t) and encountered 83.5 meters (274 feet) of 3.99 g/t Au, which may penetrate the core of the northern zone. The northeast trending core of this zone is being tested by new drilling, while future drilling will be used to determine the boundary for the mineralized zone. See the table below for details.

The current drill program's goal is expand known resource zones and identify additional ones. The program has already been expanded to follow-up these new results. There is one core drill rig is working on site and a reverse circulation rig is being mobilized to the site in order to expedite the resource delineation.

Drilling services are being performed by the Eastern U.S. division of Boart Longyear. Sawn core samples are being assayed by Inspectorate Labs in Sparks, NV. The core was halved and sampled with control samples inserted and the results for the controls were all within acceptable ranges. Romarco's Qualified Person is Tom Kilbey, Sr. Geologist with the Company.

Romarco Appoints Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Meek brings more than 30 years of accounting and asset management experience within the mining industry. Mr. Meek was recently CFO for Sterling Mining Company, prior thereto he served as Treasurer and Manager of Budget and Forecasting for Coeur d'Alene Mines Corporation where he was responsible for managing a $250 million portfolio of financial assets, managed the commodity hedging program and was responsible for metals sales. Romarco Intercepts 98 m of 4.9 g/t at Haile, Continues Expansion of Zone to North


SPARKS, NEVADA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/04/08


-- ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSX VENTURE: R) (the "Company") is pleased to announce assay results from several new exploration holes at its Haile Mine in South Carolina. These holes were drilled to further test the extension of the gold mineralization on the northern trend open pit target zone and intersected substantial mineralization (98 meters thick averaging 4.9 g/t Au - DDH 323 and 87 meters thick averaging 4.3 g/t Au - DDH 321) stepping out over 90 meters beyond what was announced last week (see Press Release dated Oct. 29, 2008). With these new holes combined, the footprint of the north zone area has doubled from its limits used for last month's published NI 43-101 resource. The comparison of the new drill results versus existing results can be seen through a descriptive map and cross section which will be made available on the Company's website - www.romarco.com - on Thursday November 6. These drill results and the results announced on October 29, 2008 are not included in the last published NI 43-101 resource estimate.

The northwestern most drill hole (DDH 323) returned a substantial 34 meter high grade core at almost 10 g/t Au, which is still open to the north and west. DDH-323 was drilled 55 meters to the north of previous drilling. DDH-321 and DDH-322 intercepts were 23 meters north and 61 meters northeast of previous drilling, respectively. All three of these new holes represent down-dip extensions of the 83 m @ 4.0 g/t Au interval for DDH-320. The latest results indicate that the dip of the +50 meter core of the north zone flattens, adding to the viability of the zone to be further explored. DDH-327 was drilled 44 meters to the east of previous drilling and intersected more restricted mineralization See the table below for details.

Letter to the Shareholders

September 2008

To The Shareholders of Romarco:

I am writing to you with an update of our activities and to inform you of events and news on the horizon.

As you know, we closed the acquisition of the Haile Gold Mine from Kinross Gold in October of 2007. We immediately began compiling the historic drill data into a three-dimensional model and outlined a drilling program to confirm the historic resource which Amax identified in the early 1990’s. The historic resource was never taken to production due to the low gold price environment that occurred in the mid and late 1990’s. The database we assembled and the results from our initial drill program were so spectacular and far better than anything previously reported that our technical team was convinced we were looking at a district scale multi-million ounce gold deposit. In March, we acquired a second core drill rig to conduct an aggressive exploration program. Each hole has produced outstanding results (see website) with grades indicating economic open pit potential.

To date, the Company has drilled more than 25,000 feet of core drilling and recently announced a 92% increase to the measured and indicated resources to 1.5 million ounces of gold (see website for table and details). In addition, there is 678,000 ounces of inferred resource bringing the total resource at Haile to 2.1 million ounces of gold as of September 2008. With this significant increase in gold resources, the Company has increased the size of its proposed operating plant from a 4,000 ton per day operation to a 7,000 ton per day operation.

The Company will continue this aggressive exploration program for the next 12 months and perhaps beyond. The deposit is open in three directions (north, east and west). We are continuing to step out with each drill hole and have still not found the limits of the deposit. We have yet to test the property for gold at depth (more than 700 feet or 215 meters). We have plans to drill some deeper holes before the end of the year. Exploration drilling will continue and the resources will be updated periodically throughout the year. We believe at this time, Haile will produce a positive feasibility study this Fall and become a gold producing mine and we are proceeding forward with that plan. We are in the last stages of completing the feasibility study which is being completed by a world-class engineering team comprised of five companies. The report should be ready for publication by October 2008.

The Haile Gold Mine will be one of only a handful of mines coming into production in the United States within the next 2 years. We have been completing some of the required steps for the permitting process and have tremendous local support from the community and local officials for the development of the mine. The mine will provide significant economic benefits and much needed employment to the local community which has been depressed since the major textile mills closed down in the area over the past decade. The land is private land, so permits will come through the state and local agencies.

The NI-43-101 report filed on SEDAR and prepared by Behre Dolbear in late 2007 bears little resemblance to what we have learned and know today at Haile. The report was based on the historic information and work conducted by AMAX Gold. Our team, our engineering contractors and our drilling results show a much different picture about the potential of this property. Our information is checked and double-checked to ensure we are delivering accurate information to the market. The 43-101 report will be updated within the next month.

We now have a team of 17 employees at Haile performing duties in the area of geology, drilling, engineering, permitting and administration. This team is dedicated to growing the resource, completing the permitting process and preparing for construction and development. Our Chief Geologist, James Berry, came to Romarco from Barrick’s Ruby Hill Mine. His skills and experience have been invaluable in guiding our exploration program, digitizing the resource database and conducting mine modeling. Additionally our Sr. Geologist, Tom Kilbey is working with Mr. Berry to assess the district potential of Haile and guide our step out and deep drilling programs. Mr. Kilbey is credited with one of the more recent discoveries at Haile and was Project Geologist for the Haile Mine in the 1980’s and early 1990’s.

The Pinos Gold District in Mexico is another significant project and we will begin our second drill program in early September 2008. The Pinos Gold District is a high-grade gold vein district with significant historic production from the surface to 100 meters. We are targeting the continuation of that mineralization below 100 meters.

We have two exploration projects in Nevada and are reviewing our plans for the upcoming field season.

We are confident that current share price and does not accurately reflects the value of our projects. However, as many of you are aware, the gold market is plagued by many other economic and market conditions other than gold. We anticipate that with the new resource and feasibility coming out soon our share price will begin to reflect the value of our underlying assets.

These holes were designed to continue expanding the zone of mineralization encountered in the previously released drill holes at the north resource area. Further development drilling is planned in order to determine the extents of the north resource area, which remains open laterally and down dip. The north resource area development is currently being prioritized against other property targets in order to expand and upgrade as much of the resource as possible before the conclusion of the feasibility study. The same target zone was intersected on the other side of DDH-322 by DDH-325, encountering a continuous intercept of 81.6 meters (267.9 feet) at 2.1 g/t Au with an included 11.9 meter (39.1 ft.) interval of 3.9 g/t Au and another 5.4 meter (17.6 ft.) interval of 4.5 g/t Au. These results along with DDH-322 reveal the north resource area remains open in at least two directions.

DDH-324 and DDH-325 were drilled to the south at a moderately steep angle in order to minimize hole deflection and to transect mineralization nearly perpendicular to its dip. All of the mineralized zones were hosted within silicified quartz-sericite-pyrite phyllites. See the table below for details.

One core drill rig is on site with a reverse circulation rig being mobilized in order to expedite the resource addition. The current program is focused on identifying additional resources at the site.

Romarco Encounters a 57.4 Meter Aggregate Zone of 2.8 g/t Au at North Haile Area

SPARKS, NEVADA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 21, 2009 -- ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (CDNX:R.V - News) (the "Company") is pleased to announce assay results from an additional exploration hole at the Haile Mine in South Carolina. This latest hole was a step-out hole to determine the western extent of the mineralization at the north resource zone



DDH-333 was collared 20 meters (65 feet) east of DDH-308 and intersected a 100 meter thick mineralized target horizon. That target horizon included three discreet ore zones consisting of 26.8 meters (87.8 feet) of 2.2 g/t Au, 7.9 meters (25.7 feet) of 6.3 g/t Au, and 22.7 meters (74.6 feet) of 2.4 g/t Au. Therefore, the 100 meter thick target returned a 57 meter composite zone averaging 2.8 g/t Au.

This latest hole was also drilled to the south at a moderately steep angle in order to minimize hole deflection and to have the hole transect mineralization at a normal angle. All of the mineralized zones were hosted within silicified quartz-sericite-pyrite phyllites. See the table below for details.

ROMARCO INCREASES LAND POSITION AT HAILE

Romarco Minerals Inc. has acquired approximately 240 acres of land adjacent to its other landholdings at the Haile gold mine in South Carolina.

The property was part of the land package controlled by Amax Gold in the 1990s. Historic drilling by Amax has shown the property contains approximately 2.25 million tons of ore in the inferred resource category (1.3-gram-per-tonne average grade) containing approximately 94,000 ounces of gold. The historic drilling was completed prior to National Instrument 43-101, and therefore, is being treated as a historical resource by the company.

Gold mineralization on this property is along trend and hosts the same rock units that host the gold ore on the adjacent Haile gold mine property. Romarco's technical team believes this parcel, which has not been sufficiently explored, contains a significant extension of the Haile trend that is currently being developed by Romarco. The company believes the property has significant upside potential along strike and at depth.

The terms of the purchase agreement include 100,000 shares of common stock of the company and additional cash considerations over a 12-month period to the sellers, Jimmy Johnson and Sherry Johnson.

SPARKS, NV--(Marketwire - January 28, 2009) - Romarco Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: R) (PINKSHEETS: RTRAF) (the "Company") is pleased to announce assay results from drill hole DDH-334 at the Haile Mine in South Carolina. This hole was an in-fill hole designed to confirm the continuity of the mineralization within the recently drilled northern trend. The northern trend remains open to the north and northeast and additional drilling will be undertaken to determine the ultimate extent.

DDH-334 encountered 60.6 meters (198.8 feet) of 6.9 g/t (0.201 opt) Au. This interval contained a higher grade core of 18.3 meters (60 feet) of 16.4 g/t (0.478 opt) Au. DDH-334 intersected the target horizon 36.6 meters (120 feet) south of DDH-333 and 55.5 meters (182 feet) north of DDH-286. The mineralization encountered within DDH-334 is located 12.2 meters (40 feet) east of DDH-264 and 26.2 meters (86 feet) west of DDH-302. DDH-334 was drilled to the south at a moderate angle in order to minimize hole deflection and to have the hole transect the mineralization at a normal angle. The mineralization is hosted within silicified quartz-sericite-pyrite phyllites. See the table below for details.

Das Video auf der Homepage sagt schon sehr viel aus. Sollten die Bohrergebnisse beweisen dass die Goldzones zusammenhängen, dann ist da wirklich ein riesen Gold Deposit unter der Erde. 10 Mio Unzen wären warscheinlich die Folge. Ich habe versucht einen Haken zu finden. Ich bin gescheitert.
Nur 30 Mio im Freefloat. Ich fange an zu sammeln und hoffe noch auf ein paar "Cheap Shares".

Romarco Minerals Inc. has entered into a bought-deal private placement offering with a syndicate of underwriters led by Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd., and including Paradigm Capital Inc. and GMP Securities LP.

Under the agreement, the underwriters will purchase 54 million units of the company at a price of 38 cents per unit for gross proceeds of $20.52-million.

Each Unit will consist of one common share of Romarco and one-half of one common share purchase warrant, each full warrant being exercisable to acquire one common share of Romarco at a purchase price of 60 cents for a period of 24 months following the closing date. The company has agreed to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 8.1 million units at a price of 38 cents per unit for additional total gross proceeds to Romarco of $3,078,000, exercisable at any time in whole or in part up to 48 hours prior to the closing date. If this option is exercised in full, the total gross proceeds to Romarco will be $23,598,000.

Ich bin stark am Überlegen auszusteigen. Die Aktie ist total überverkauft und nähert sich meiner Meinung nach einer fairen Bewertung. Langfristig noch genügend Potential, aber kurzfristig sehe ich eher keine mehr. Außer es kommt schon bald zu einer Übernahme.

jaaaaa WIR werden hier richtig verwöhnt - auch DAS gibts in zeiten
von finanzkrise und meeeehr. zu natürlich, daß einem nach solch
grandioser perf. der last weeks gedanken der gewinn- realisierung
kommen. ICH weiß natürlich auch nicht, wies hier noch weitergeht, aber würde dir empfehlen max 50 % zu versilbern, wenn nicht sogar
nur das EK- vol. !!!!

wenn du gesehn hast, wie die KE zu 0,38 gehandelt wurde bzw. aufgestockt werden mußte.......dann sagts MIR, JETZT gehts erst
´richtig´ zur sache.....evtl. mit merger

unglaublicher Tag gestern - ich denke da kommt noch was, entweder Super-BE´s oder nen JV , oder gleich ein BuyOut

wenn man die letzten BE´s alle sich nochmal zu Gemüte Zieht wird das nächste NI-Update Romarco locker über 2,5 Mill.Unzen heben - und dann legen die Mädels mit einem 85.000 m Programm nach
könnte bei gleichbleibenden Ergebnissen locker über 5 Mill. UNzen gehen in der Zukunft
genug Kohle dafür haben sie...........

ROMARCO CLOSES UNDERWRITTEN PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Romarco Minerals Inc. has closed its underwritten private placement previously announced in its (see news issued in Stockwatch) press releases dated Feb. 12, 2009, and Feb. 13, 2009. The offering consisted of 72.1 million units, at a price of 38 cents per unit, for total gross proceeds of $27,398,000. Each unit comprise one common share in the capital of the company and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will entitle the holder thereof to purchase one common share at an exercise price of 60 cents per common share until March 3, 2011.

The underwriters led by Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd., and including Paradigm Capital Inc. and GMP Securities LP received a cash commission of 6.0 per cent of the gross proceeds raised in the private placement. The underwriters also received compensation options to purchase a total of 4,326,000 units, or 6.0 per cent of the total units issued. Each compensation option will entitle the underwriters to purchase one unit of the company at the offering price until March 3, 2011.

The net proceeds from the offering will be used, together with the company's existing cash resources, to finance continued development of the Haile gold mine for general corporate purposes.

All securities issued pursuant to the offering will be subject to a four-month hold period.

ROMARCO MINERALS INC. - AGREEMENT WITH SUN VALLEY GOLD MASTER FUND, LTD.

Romarco Minerals Inc. has entered into an agreement pursuant to which Sun Valley Gold Master Fund Ltd. has agreed to dispose of 3,510,141 common shares of the company previously acquired by Master Fund.

The company's shareholder rights plan dated May 27, 2008, includes provisions which are triggered by a transaction in or pursuant to which a person becomes an acquiring person (as defined in the plan), including pursuant to secondary market purchases. Pursuant to a private agreement on Oct. 14, 2008, Master Fund acquired 4,995,000 common shares through a secondary market purchase. The company has determined that, as a result of the October acquisition, Master Fund and Sun Valley Gold LLC may have become acquiring persons. If so, the board of directors of the company, in good faith, has determined that this has occured by inadvertence and without intention to become, or knowledge that the purchasers might have become, acquiring persons. To avoid any possibility that the purchasers may be considered acquiring persons and to be abundantly cautious, the company and Master Fund have entered into the agreement.

In accordance with the plan, the board of directors of the company may waive the occurrence of any possible flip-in event (as defined in the plan) upon:

1. Good faith determination that a person may have become acquiring persons by inadvertence and without intention to become, or knowledge that they might have become, acquiring persons;
2. Execution by such acquiring person of a contractual arrangement with the company to reduce its beneficial ownership in the company. Such waiver shall be effective upon closing of the sale of shares contemplated in the agreement.

Taylor refreshes Romarco buy

Jay Taylor, writing in the March 17, 2009, edition of Gold, Energy &Tech Stocks, refreshes his buy recommendation for Romarco Minerals Inc.,recently 38 cents. Mr. Taylor said buy on May 20, 2008, at 17.5 cents and onDec. 17, 2008, at 13 cents. A $1,000 investment for each of the two buys is nowworth $5,094. Mr. Taylor expects Romarco to release a new resource estimate forits Haile mine in South Carolina soon. He says the estimate will almostcertainly be larger, and could fall in the range of between three millionounces to five million ounces of gold. Mr. Taylor notes the economics of Haile,based on the current 1.3 million ounces, are very good. The mine could produce128,000 ounces a year, with all-in costs at $450 an ounce, over an eight-yearmine life. Mr. Taylor says the one negative is the relatively large number ofRomarco shares outstanding, which will most certainly put a cap on the stock'supward potential. The newsletter writer still thinks that Romarco's share pricecould go to between $2 to $3, which would give shareholders a tenfold increase.

Romarco Drills Haile With 4 Rigs
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 31, 2009) - ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSX VENTURE:R) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has received drilling permits for 500 holes at the Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina. Due to the success of the 2008 drilling program, the Company has expanded its 2009 drilling program by recently adding three contracted RC (reverse circulation) drills through Boart Longyear (Eklund). Two of these rigs are already on site and the third will be arriving in the next two weeks. The fourth rig on site is an RC drill that was purchased by the Company during the fourth quarter of 2008. The Company's drilling team has more than 40 years experience.

The 2009 drilling program will be comprised of 280,000 feet (85,000 meters) with approximately two-thirds of the drilling focused on step-out exploration and one-third focused on in-fill delineation to convert resources into reserves. The updated geologic model has identified numerous potential discovery targets on the Haile site and the updated resource model has identified zones that need further delineation to expand the reserves. The mineralized zones at Haile still remain open to the north, east, west and at depth throughout the 2000 acre land position that Romarco controls. This drilling program will include the first deep drilling on the Haile Mine site where holes will be drilled to depths in excess of 1500 feet (450 meters).

SPARKS, NEVADA--(Marketwire - April 9, 2009) - ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSX VENTURE:R) (the "Company") is pleased to announce assay results from its Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina.

RC-1505 was drilled within the North Zone ore body to increase drill density to elevate the drilled material from indicated to measured resource category. RC-1505 encountered 12.2 meters (40 feet) of 2.83 g/t Au (0.083 opt) 9 meters above another interval of 39.6 meters (130 feet) of 8.8 g/t Au (0.258 opt). RC1505 ended in mineralization and will be reentered and extended. All of the control samples submitted with this hole were within acceptable ranges.

ROMARCO APPOINTS ARNOLD CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Romarco Minerals Inc. has appointed James Arnold, PE as senior vice-president and chief operating officer of the company. In addition, Mr. Arnold has been appointed to the board of directors of Romarco.

Mr. Arnold has a long and distinguished career of over 30 years in the mining industry working in all phases of surface and underground mine operations. Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Arnold was involved in the building and management of one of the lowest-cost gold operations at Gold Field's Chimney Creek Mine, managed one of the lowest-cost underground mines at Henderson Mine, helped write and implement many of the environmental laws used in the United States today, led a mining consulting firm as president and chief executive officer of Knight Piesold and Co., which provided technical services to the mining industry, and held the position of president of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration and chairman of the Nevada Mining Association.

Mr. Arnold was recently vice-president of Colorado operations for Freeport McMoRan, where he led the Climax restart project through feasibility, engineering, staffing and construction. Prior to there, he was vice-president of technical services for Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp., and also held the positions of general manager for Kinross' Goldbanks project and manager of Santa Fe Pacific Gold's Twin Creeks project in Nevada.

Diane Garrett, president and chief executive officer, commented: "Romarco is excited and pleased to add Jim to the Romarco team as he is one of the most respected and well known operators in our industry, and will bring great value to the Haile project and the future growth of the company. Drills 27.4 Meters Of 2.9 G/T Au

ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSXV: R) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce assay results from several drill holes at the Haile Gold Mine in South Carolina, USA. Three of the holes represent the initial part of the 2009 step-out program at the North Resource (Ledbetter) area. These holes demonstrate that mineralization continues in a northeast direction. Ongoing step-out drilling is focused on expanding this same mineralized zone farther north, east, and west. These step-out holes represent the farthest north holes drilled to date. The mineralized zone, which now spans over 3.5 km in strike length (NE to SW) and over 1.5 km north to south, continues to remain open to the north, east, west and at depth.

RC-1511 was the first step-out hole at the North Resource area (Ledbetter) and encountered 27.4 meters (90 feet) of 2.9 g/t Au (0.083 opt). RC-1511 encountered the mineralized zone 70 meters (230 feet) north of DDH-328, which had encountered 32.8 meters (105 feet) of 2.3 g/t Au (0.067 opt). RC-1512 encountered the target mineralized host rock an additional 46 meters north of RC-1511. RC-1515 encountered 51.8 meters (170 feet) of 1.7 g/t Au (0.049 opt) 61 meters (200 feet) northeast of the previously reported intercept of 63.8 meters (204 feet) at 1.4 g/t Au in DDH-324.

RC-1505 was a previously reported infill hole that had ended in 23.3 g/t Au (0.680 opt) material at a depth of 119 meters (390 feet), the bottom of the target zone. RC-1505 was re-entered and continued down completely through the mineralized material for an additional 37 meters (120 ft.). The additional drilling increased the lower zone intercept to 48.8 meters (160 feet) of 7.9 g/t Au from the previously reported 39.6 meters (130 feet) of 8.8 g/t Au (0.257 opt). RC-1513 was also an infill hole at the North zone and encountered 21.3 meters (70 feet) of 3.3 g/t Au (0.095 opt) extending mineralization southeast of DDH-296.

The drill cuttings were shipped to Inspectorate Labs in Sparks, Nevada for assay. Control samples were submitted with the drill samples. The control samples consisted of blanks and third party standards. Standards with variance greater than 20 percent warrant that the batch be re-assayed. The blanks and standards included with these holes yielded assay values that were within acceptable ranges.

With gold remaining one of the few safe havens in this uncertain financial world, the search for the shiny yellow metal has expanded into places that were unheard of up until now. The familiar ones of folklore have been Alaska, California, Northern Ontario, Mexico, South Africa and South America. But what some investors may not suspect is that similar finds have been made in the state of South Carolina, where Romarco Minerals, Inc. (TSX-Venture:R) has announced assay results from several drill holes at its Haile Gold Mine, results that have gratified management and would intrigue investors seeking to add new strength to their portfolios.

Romarco, which trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol R, is based in Vancouver but with offices in Nevada, hails the Haile project as its flagship property, and why not? Haile currently has 1.62 million ounces of gold (measured and indicated) with 3.26 million total gold resource (including inferred), and is open in three directions.

In late May, Romarco announced significant results that highlight how lucrative this development can possibly be. Three of the holes at Haile represent the initial part of the 2009 step-out program at the North Resource (Ledbetter) area. These holes demonstrate that mineralization continues in a northeast direction. The mineralized zone, which now spans over 3.5 kilometres in strike length, from Northeast to Southwest) and over 1.5 km north to south, continues to remain open to the north, east, west and at depth.


One of the holes in question is said to have produced 27 metres of 2.9 g/t (ounces of per ton) gold; another, 32.8 metres of 2.3 g/t gold. Still another hole encountered 51.8 meters of 1.7 g/t gold. Quite the find for a geographical region known rather for tobacco than for gold.


The company is also active in Mexico, primarily on the Pinos Gold District, discovered by the Spaniards in the 16th century. Pinos is approximately 3,000 hectares in size and hosts four known high-grade gold veins with consistent strike lengths of over four kilometres each.

The company prides itself on having a significant institutional shareholder base, a management team and board of directors with extensive experience in the precious metals industry, $25 million in cash and no debt – much to make investors’ mouths water.

Investors were tantalized enough to send the price of Romarco shares to a new 52-week high on May 22 at 79 cents, a far cry from the trough of only nine cents last October. On the days news arrived of the latest strike at Haile, shares had subsided to around the 70-cent mark, even though trading was active in the hundreds of thousands of shares.

ROMARCO EXTENDS LAND POSITION 2.4 KM ALONG HAILE TREND

Romarco Minerals Inc. has acquired additional property along the mineralized trend at the Haile gold mine in South Carolina. The new property extends Romarco's land position 2.4 kilometres along strike beyond the western edge of the South pit. Romarco now controls 4.7 kilometres of strike length along the Haile mineralization corridor, nearly doubling what the company controlled previously.

This extension of land hosts known gold mineralization from historic drilling. Romarco has the data from prior exploration activities (also see new release in Stockwatch dated Jan. 26, 2009) . This property hosts the same rock units that host the gold ore on the adjacent Haile gold mine property. The technical team believes this parcel, which has not been sufficiently explored, is part of the same system and may contain an extension of the Haile trend that is currently being developed by Romarco. The company believes the property has significant upside potential along strike and at depth. A map showing the location of the property in relation to the Haile gold mine will be on posted on the website.

Exposures of metamorphosed sediments similar to the host rocks at the historic Champion pit, the South pit, Ledbetter pit and Snake pit are located on the property. Several outcrops of intensely silicified metasediments with iron oxides replacing pyrite are present. A program is currently being designed to drill test the property.

Diane Garrett, president and chief executive officer, commented: "We recognize we are in a gold district and as such are continuing to increase our land position along strike. This most recent land acquisition is significant given our knowledge of the geology and mineralization that extends outward from the current Haile gold mine resource. We will be drilling this and other newly acquired parcels during 2009. We continue to have four drill rigs on site conducting step-out and in-fill drilling on the current resource which remains open in all directions and at depth".

Romarco has completed 23,000 metres of the 85,000-metre reverse circulation drilling program for 2009. The drill program to date has focused on step-out drilling adjacent to mineralized zones and condemnation drilling at proposed facilities. There are currently 52 holes pending assay results.

The option grant to Jim Arnold, chief operating officer and director (see news release in Stockwatch dated May 13, 2009), expires on May 13, 2014.

Romarco Minerals Inc. has agreed to increase the size of its bought-deal financing to $40.04-million. Pursuant to a revised letter agreement, the underwriters led by Paradigm Capital Inc. and including GMP Securities LP, Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. and Wellington West Capital Markets Inc., have agreed to purchase 45.5 million common shares of the company at a price of 88 cents per common share for gross proceeds of $40.04-million on a bought-deal basis pursuant to a short form prospectus of the company. The company has agreed to grant the underwriters an option, exercisable at any time up to 30 days after closing of the offering, to acquire additional common shares up to 15 per cent of the common shares sold pursuant to the offering to cover over-allotments, if any, and for market stabilization purposes. If this option is exercised in full, the aggregate gross proceeds to Romarco will be $46,046,000.

Romarco Minerals Inc. has expanded its management team with additions to its operations positions. As Romarco moves into the detailed design phase followed by construction and operations, these individuals will be the managers in charge of carrying Haile through to safe and efficient operations.

Jim Arnold, senior vice-president and chief operating officer of Romarco, commented: "We are very excited about being able to attract talent such as Jim, Brent and Ott. This is a testament to the strength of our project at Haile and the terrific work that the current team has done."

Jim Wickens -- Haile mill manager

During his recent nine-year tenure with Barrick Gold Corp., Mr. Wickens has held the position of chief metallurgist at Cortez mine (Nevada), Golden Sunlight mine (Montana) and Goldstrike (Nevada). He was responsible for all metallurgical services, refinery, process controls and operations metallurgy. Prior to Barrick, Mr. Wickens was senior metallurgist at Placer Dome's Bald Mountain mine, Campbell mine and Gibraltar mine. Mr. Wickens holds a bachelor of science in mining and mineral processing from the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada.

Brent Anderson, mining engineer -- Haile mine manager

Prior to joining Romarco, Mr. Anderson was at the Robinson mine (Quadra Mining) where he was responsible for mine operations including administering a $100-million mine operating budget, meeting production schedules and targets, and development of life-of-mine models. In addition, he has held various senior mining positions with Phelps Dodge Corp. (Candelaria mine (Chile) and Cerro Verde mine (Peru)), and positions with Freeport McMoRan. Mr. Anderson will be responsible for all engineering, operating and maintenance functions in the mine department at Haile. He holds a mining engineering degree from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.

Arthur "Ott" Jackson -- Haile health and safety manager

Mr. Jackson has a long and distinguished career in the field of mine safety with Freeport McMoRan and prior thereto Phelps Dodge. Mr. Jackson will manage Haile's current safety program and will be responsible for establishing and implementing required mine safety programs (MSHA) as the company moves toward construction, development and production. Mr. Jackson holds a bachelor of arts in business management from the University of Phoenix.

SPARKS, NV, Oct 05, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSXV: R) (the "Company") is pleased to announce recent assay results from the 2009 exploration program at the Haile Gold Mine, in South Carolina.

The 2009 drilling program continues to expand the mineralized zones between and beyond the three proposed pits at Haile. Year to date, approximately 51,000 meters of drilling have been completed in 173 holes. A significant focus of the 2009 drilling program is to identify gold mineralization between the proposed pits in order to bring them into one large pit and reduce the overall strip ratio. Drilling between previously known gold occurrences continues to provide evidence that the mineralization at Haile is a single system. Step-out drilling also continues to identify mineralization and the deposit continues to remain open in all directions and at depth.

The Company also announces that it has added a fifth rig to the exploration program at Haile. The newly contracted rig is a core drill rig which will be used for exploration and geotechnical drilling. Oriented core samples will be obtained from the core holes in order to guide exploration efforts and to optimize pit slope angles used for mine design work. Connors Drilling LLC, will be performing the core drilling.

The drill holes RC-1598, RC-1603, RC-1608, RC-1609, RC-1623, and RC-1624 were drilled in areas identified as favorable for mineralization between the currently proposed pits. The current drilling is being performed by Boart Longyear and by Romarco's company owned drill. The drill samples are being assayed by Alaska Assay Labs in Fairbanks, AK. Blank samples as well as third party standards were submitted with all of the drill holes. The results of the control samples were within acceptable ranges.

Romarco Minerals Inc. has appointed John Marsden to the board of directors of Romarco.

Mr. Marsden has 27 years of broad international experience, managing major, innovative, copper, gold, molybdenum and cobalt operations and projects worldwide. Mr. Marsden is president of Metallurgium, a company offering consulting services to the mining industry, established early in 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Marsden held the position of president, Freeport-McMoRan Mining Co. During his 18-year tenure with Freeport-McMoRan (and formerly Phelps Dodge Corp.), he held a variety of positions, including senior vice-president of technology and development, and manager of concentrator operations at Candelaria (Chile). In addition, he has held management positions with Gold Fields Mining Corp. at the Chimney Creek (Nevada) and East Driefontein (South Africa) gold mines.

Mr. Marsden brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of plant design and optimization, process and technology development, engineering, and project implementation. Romarco intercepts 20m of 3.5 g/t below Snake

TORONTO, Dec. 1 /CNW Telbec/ -- ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSXV: R) (the "Company") is pleased to provide an update of recent assay results from the on-going drill program at the Haile Gold Mine, in South Carolina.

RC 1565 and 1573 were designed to test for new mineralization below the Snake pit. Portions of the Snake Pit are shallow as historic drilling (pre-Romarco) ceased after encountering the first or upper interval of mineralization. Romarco is targeting the lower interval and has identified (in RC 1565) that it begins at approximately 38 meters in depth. RC 1565 encountered 24.4 meters (80 feet) of 3.4 g/t (0.100 opt) gold and RC 1573 encountered 22.9 meters (75 feet) of 1.5 g/t (0.045 opt) gold. RC 1644 was a step-out hole to the east of Snake and intercepted 16.8 meters (55 feet) of 2.3 g/t (0.067 opt) gold. These holes will have a positive impact on adding ounces to the Snake area. Additional drill hole assays are pending from the Snake, South Pit, and Ledbetter areas.

The current drill program is designed to identify additional resources and convert resources into proven and probable reserves across the entire mine property. The reverse circulation drilling is being performed by Boart Longyear and Romarco's company owned drill. Core drilling is being performed by Connors drilling. The drill samples are being assayed by Alaska Assay Labs in Fairbanks, AK. Blank samples as well as third party standards were submitted with all of the drill holes. darüber hinaus wurden erlöse weitestgehend re- investiert in...
hoftl. FOLGE- perlen - EINE davon schaut für MICH besonders
reizvoll aus, nämlich die kanad. GQ ( great quest metals ), die
erst allmählich in GER bekannt wird.

ROMARCO selbst steht NACH den tollen funden jetzt vor gewaltigen
herausforderungen, diese ´kostengünstig´ zu fördern/ verarbeiten,
damit der erhoffte erlös in die kassen fließt....und daran sind
schon einige zuvor gescheitert !!!

das sehe ich anders! ich bin kürzlich erst wieder eingestiegen!

R wird die resource erstmal nicht selbst entwickeln, sondern zunächst weiter explorieren... mit steigendem goldpreis steigt der wert der ressourcen und reserven (gehebelt) und irgendwann sehen wir dann die übernahme durch einen major!

News gab es meines wissens einige in Bezug auf herausgegebene Kursziele (von 2,5 CAD zu 2,0 CAD), Bohrergebnisse von 5,1 g/t zu 11,8 g/t mal mehr mal weniger Meter.

einzig interessante News in den letzten 3 Monaten fand ich die vom 10.09 - SunValleyGold verkauft 6 Mio Common Shares...

-- DDH-372, an infill hole in Mill Zone (the higher grade portion of South Pit) encountered 115.3 meters of 3.4 g/t gold (including a 34.1-meter zone of 5.7 g/t gold) beginning 13.4 meters below the surface; -- DDH-396 encountered 53.7 meters of 3.7 g/t gold (including a 1.5-meter zone of 73.8 g/t gold) and 45.3 meters of 3.0 g/t gold between Ledbetter and South pits (including a 4.6-meter zone of 11.1 g/t gold); -- RCT-81 encountered 15.2 meters of 4.3 g/t gold in the western portion of Snake; -- RCT-46 located between Snake and Horseshoe encountered 32.0 meters of 3.1 g/t gold (including a 5.9-meter zone of 7.9 g/t gold) and 47.2 meters of 5.3 g/t gold (including a 5.0-meter zone of 8.4 g/t and a 15.2-meter zone of 11.3 g/t gold) approximately 33 meters west of RCT-19 (30.8 meters of 4.9 g/t gold - see September 7, 2010 press release); -- RC-1995, a step-out hole at Horseshoe, intersected 36.6 meters of 4.6 g/t gold (including a 3.0-meter zone of 28.9 g/t gold) and will extend a portion of the mineralization closer to the surface.

Step-out drilling is continuing to define several new prospective targets outside of the resource shell. RC-1973 encountered 21.3 meters of 3.1 g/t gold (including 7.6 meters of 6.6 g/t gold) located over 450 meters north of the proposed South Pit and RCT-63 encountered 21.3 meters of 3.2 g/t gold (including 12.5 meters of 4.4 g/t gold) approximately 500 meters below the surface and 50 meters south of the proposed South Pit. Additionally, deeper drill testing southwest of Snake has encountered mineralization at depths greater than any previous Haile drilling. RCT-51, located over 360 meters northeast of RCT-63, identified multiple mineralized intervals including 44.2 meters of 1.2 g/t gold and 32.0 meters of 1.7 g/t gold, which were encountered between 580 to 745 meters below surface and below the southwest extent of the proposed Snake pit. These results demonstrate the continuation of the Haile mineralized system well beyond the designed resource boundaries. The deeper mineralization along the southern edge of the Haile system is very poorly constrained over a large area; yet, RCT-63 shows the grades can be sufficient for consideration of underground mining and the continuation of broad mineralized intercepts demonstrates potential for finding additional resources at depth. Further drilling is planned around all new intercepts to better define the mineralization in these new target areas.

Exploration drilling north of Ledbetter has identified gold mineralization well beyond the known Haile resource. RC-1943 encountered multiple zones of mineralization, including 16.8 meters of 3.5 g/t gold (including 4.6 meters of 9.4 g/t gold), located over 300 meters north from the currently proposed Ledbetter pit wall. The mineralized intercepts begin at 290 meters below surface; slightly lower than the planned pit bottom and significantly shallower than previously projected northerly extensions of the Ledbetter ore body. Additional drilling in the area encountered 12.2 meters of 3.7 g/t gold in RC-1972. Assays are pending from follow-up holes around RC-1943 to begin determining the size and shape of this mineralization.

Sample Procedure

Drilling is being performed by Romarco's company owned drills (4 core, 1 reverse circulation), by Connors Drilling, and by Boart Longyear. The drill samples are prepared and assayed by Alfred H. Knight Group (formerly Alaska Assay Laboratory). Samples are prepared at their facility in Spartanburg, SC and assaying is completed in Fairbanks, AK. Blank samples and third party standards are inserted at random for submittal with all of the drill samples. The results of the control samples are within acceptable ranges. Periodic duplicate and check samples are analyzed by ALS Chemex in Reno, NV. For a full discussion of the Company's sampling, analysis, quality assurance, quality control, and other technical disclosure, please see the Company's National Instrument ("NI") 43-101 Feasibility Technical Report dated February 10, 2011 on SEDAR. nicht wirklich. Und auf stockhouse weiß auch keiner was bestimmtes. Viele spekulieren, dass das eine längst überfällige Korrektur für 5 Mio Unzen zu niedrigen Kosten sind, andere gehen davon aus, das R.TO ein Übernahmekandidat von NewGold ist

...letztlich hätte der kurs noch unten bleiben können...habe bis jetzt noch nicht nachgelegt.

100% bei mir das gleiche....ich dachte es dauert bis ins Fürhjahr nächtses Jahr.

Erst August 2013 soll ja über die "Permit" entschieden werden..andererseits ist das wohl eine Formsache, wenn die "US Army Corps of Engineers" ausreichend beteiligt wird ... und US Army Corps bildet natürlich da einiges an Spekulationspotential.

Danke für die Info . Wäre eine plausible Erklärung jedoch die frage ob es dann gleich 15% ausmacht. Ist ja nicht so, dass es keinen Handel gibt oder man hatte eine große Position . Müsste man aber eigentlich herausfinden können ..seltsame vorgehensweise aber allemal, man muss doch nur bis August warten und die Kohle einfahren..werde wieder in kürze einsteigen

Bin gestern auch mal mit einer Position bei 0,538 € eingestiegen. Es wurde ja auf Stockhouse spekuliert das nach den Verkäufen am 20-24.12 schlechte News anstehen könnten. Diese verkäufe waren aber meiner Meinung nach nur die üblichen Verkäufe die in Kanada bis 24.12 und USA 26.12 gemacht werden um steuerlichr Verluste auszugleichen usw.

Die Aufregung sollte sich schon langsam wieder gelegt haben und es sollte erstmal wieder aufwärts gehen. Rechne mit einem Anstieg bis an die 1$ Marke fürs erste. Der Goldpreis muß natürlich auch noch mitspielen.

Frau Garrett gefällt mir gut. Die quelle Bloomberg vom Februar 2013 könnte die Verluste von Crescent Gold hier wieder Wettmachen. Klar erreicht Sie nicht die Ergebnisse von Kimber von 1940. Aber sie riskiert doch ihr Kapital bis 2015 und sucht Aktionäre für das Vergleichbare Erdreich wie Focus vormals Crescent Gold.

Das Verhältnis ist zwischen Abraum und Erz mit 7.2 ist hoch, aber zuverlässiger als bei der Pleitefirma Crescent Gold.

Die Abbaukosten sind bei Frau Garrett unter 1000 $ / Unzen geschätzt.

Romarco to release final Haile EIS July, 2014

ROMARCO RECEIVES EIS SCHEDULE FROM US ARMY CORPS AND WILL HOST CONFERENCE CALL

Romarco Minerals Inc. has been advised that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will post a schedule for completing the environmental impact statement (EIS) for the Federal 404 wetlands permit for the Haile gold mine project in Kershaw, S.C. The schedule includes remaining key milestones for the EIS process including publication the draft EIS and final EIS.

In addition, the corps indicated that the draft alternatives analysis, which is described as "the heart of the EIS" under the National Environmental Policy Act, is in the final review stage and will be made available to the public in August, 2013 -- well in advance of the draft EIS. Following the filing of the alternatives analysis, a public meeting will be held in Kershaw, S.C., on Aug. 20, 2013, where the public will have the opportunity to discuss the alternatives analysis with the corps.

Attached is the corps's schedule and corresponding milestones to complete the remainder of the EIS.

TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – TSX-listed Romarco Minerals on Tuesday said it had signed a $200-million project financing mandate letter with a syndicate of three international financial institutions, including Caterpillar Financial Services, Macquarie Bank and Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking.

The senior-secured-finance facility signalled that the company was confident in receiving a positive permitting decision for its 100%-owned Haile gold project, in South Carolina.

sehr interessant, dass die "Anfrage" bzw. die Bedenken von der großen Naturschutzvereinigung Sierra Club einfach abgeschmettert wurde. Verständlich, denn immerhin hat der Sierra Club nach Aussagen von Romarco in den letzten vier Jahren sich überhaupt nicht gerührt und am letzten Tag der Frist, bevor die Permit's Ihre finale Gültigkeit haben so ein Ding plaziert. Als Romarco hätte man gewünscht, dass der Sierra Club wenigstens einmal bei Romarco selbst vorstellig geworden wäre....

Dennoch hätte ich das "abschmettern" nicht so schnell, bzw. überhaupt nicht erwartet.

- Mineral reserves and mineral resources remain unchanged from prior technical report. See attached resources and reserves tables.
- Cut-off grades for the mineral resource calculation were unchanged at 0.41 gram per tonne (0.012 ounce per ton) for the open pit and 2.74 grams per tonne (0.08 ounce per ton) for underground.
- Mineral reserve cut-off grade was unchanged at 0.48 gram per tonne (0.014 ounce per ton).
- Average grade for the mineral reserves also remains unchanged at 2.06 grams per tonne (0.060 ounce per ton).
- Gold recovery was unchanged while silver recovery was increased from 50 per cent to 70 per cent based on recent testwork.
- There were no changes in the processing capabilities (7,000 tons per day).
- Gold price increased from $950 per ounce to $1,250 per ounce.
- After-tax net present value at a 5-per-cent discount rate increased from $191-million to $329-million.
- After-tax internal rate of return increased from 15.7 per cent to 20.1 per cent.
- Capital costs are now projected to be $333-million (including $17-million for contingency), of which approximately $31-million has already been paid.
- The increase in capital is primarily due to bringing forward some work that was previously projected to be sustaining capital, increased insurance amounts, refinements in the detailed engineering (which is now 85 per cent complete), additional capital affiliated with permit requirements and increases in materials costs.
- Compared with capital costs of $275-million in the prior technical report (including $30-million for contingency), the company's subsequently updated estimate was $320-million (including $30-million for contingency and $17-million for inflation).
- Sustaining capital is currently projected to be $139-million versus $119-million in the feasibility study.
- The bulk of the sustaining capital costs are for earthworks associated with tailings and overburden stockpile construction, in respect of which unit rates for material moved have increased.
- Updated operating costs are $23.79 per ton of ore processed and $476.94 per ounce produced (including refining costs and net of silver byproduct credit). These costs represent a 26-per-cent increase from the feasibility study due to increased costs for labour and consumables and an increase in power (initial rate of five cents per kilowatt hour).



...über den nun angenommenen Goldpreis von 950$ auf 1.250$ könnte man streiten. Von mir aus hätte man weiter mit 950$ rechnen sollen....

so kann's gehen.

Ein Kurs weit unter dem Wert - hohe Resourcen, dennoch Open Pit und damit Kostengünstiger abbauch, alle Hürden mit den Permit's gemeistert - und dann gerät Gold in den Abwärtssog, die Goldaktien sowieso, Sippenhaft und dann wird der Laden übernommen.

Ich hätte es lieber gesehen, wenn man alleine in Produktion gegangen wäre.

Sehr schade - weit unter dem Wert verkauft. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass es mit OceanaGold irgendwann gut endet.
