First Lithium Resources Reports Godslith Property May Host Rare Earth Elements

Jun 01, 2009 (BAYSTREET NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Vancouver, British Columbia -- First Lithium Resources Inc. (MCI) wishes to announce that an enzyme leach geological profile was performed by Dr. Mark Fedikow HBSc., M.Sc., Ph.D., P.Eng., P.Geo., C.P.G. on behalf of the provincial government (2001) on the lithium pegmatite present on the Company's Godslith Property (east-central Manitoba).

The report states, in its conclusion that "the presence of the elements W, Cs, Ba and Nb as geochemical anomalies over this deposit indicate potential may exist for rare-element mineralization in the dyke" and "...may, in fact, be a resource for rare elements in addition to Li".

The services of Dr. Fedikow were procured by the Company to provide a property assessment, and to subsequently determine estimated projected costs of an exploration program based on his recommendations. In conclusion, he has suggested a 6 hole, 4200 foot diamond drill program to assess the strike extent and the continuity of the pegmatite below the limits indicated by previous diamond drilling. In addition, a broad range of drill core geochemical analysis is planned to assess the pegmatite for rare metal contents, and to determine the extent of rare earth metals on the property. The Company is now engaged in the solicitation of quotes from local drilling companies and support.

Note: First Lithium Resources Inc. is now trading under the symbol FLNTF on the OTC in the US.

Speaking to managment


They are going to use the moneys from the PP to draw up a 43-101 on Godslith in Manitoba. They have hiried Dr.Mark F. to start right now on their Lithium properties. Why Mark, because he wrote a report on Godslith in 2002.
Of course they want him to explore the Rare Earth Metals! as well as the Lithium.

This was a small PP because the stock price is so low. Their plans are to do another PP when the stock goes up and then start drilling.
They are looking at another aquisition of Lithium.
These guys have experience, Blair has been in this field for 20 years.

They know they have something good and they are moving on it.
For those who contribute to this board, thanks for the info.
Stock price is moving. The Penny traders have been shaken, the cheap money is out and they have an institiutional backer who is smart enough to wait , and make a Killing, not 3 cents a share.

Lithium Acquires Yukon Property Near Underworld's White Gold Project

Jun 17, 2009 (BAYSTREET NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Vancouver, British Columbia -- First Lithium Resources Inc. (the "Company" or "MCI") announces it has acquired lode Quartz mineral claims located in the Yukon east of the White Gold Property held by Underworld Resources Inc. (UW - TSX:V). The MCI claims are 15km east of Underworlds recently announced (May 26, 2009) discovery of 103 meters of 3.4 g/t Au, and cover just over 1000 hectares in area. Underworld is exploring sediment and vein-hosted gold targets at the 169 sq km (845 claim) White Gold property.

MCI's claims appear to host similar metasedimentary stratigraphy as the Underworld White Gold project area as outlined in mapping by Gordey and Ryan from GSC mapping.

MCI will pay the vendor, Blair Naughty, $75,000 cash, issue 800,000 shares of MCI and grant a 3% NSR with an option to buy back 1% for $1,000,000. The Company also agrees to spend $25,000 by June 1, 2010 and an additional $225,000 by September 1, 2010 as a work commitment. This transaction is subject to TSX Venture approval.

FIRST LITHIUM RESOURCES: ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING RESULTS

First Lithium Resources Inc. had its annual general meeting of its members on June 16, 2009; all resolutions that were proposed have received shareholders' approval. The shareholders received the audited financial statements for the year ended Dec. 31, 2008, and the auditor's report thereon.

At the meeting the shareholders:

* Fixed the number of directors for the ensuing year at five;
* Elected Craig Naughty, David Michaud, J. Wayne Murton, Michael Romanik and Murray B. Lytle as directors of the company;
* Reappointed the company's auditor, Smythe Ratcliffe, chartered accountants, for the ensuing year and authorized the directors to fix the remuneration to be paid to the auditor

FIRST LITHIUM ANNOUNCES BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT


First Lithium Resources Inc. has entered into an agreement with Byron Capital Markets, a division of Byron Securities Ltd., to finance a best efforts private placement of up to five million units of the company at a price of 10 cents per unit for gross proceeds of up to $500,000.

Each unit shall consist of one flow-through common share and one common share purchase warrant entitling the holder to acquire one non-flow-through common share of the company for a period of two years following the closing date at an exercise price of 15 cents per share in the first year and 25 cents per share in the second year. In consideration for its efforts, the agent will receive a cash commission representing 8 per cent of the gross proceeds and agent's warrants equal to 10 per cent of the units sold. Each agent's warrant shall entitle the agent to purchase one non-flow-through common share of the company at a price of 10 cents per share for a period of 12 months following the closing date.

FIRST LITHIUM RECEIVES NI 43-101 TECHNICAL REPORT ON GODSLITH LITHIUM PROPERTY

First Lithium Resources Inc. has received the National Instrument 43-101-compliant technical report produced by Mark Fedikow of Mount Morgan Resources Ltd. for its Godslith lithium-bearing pegmatite project in the Gods River area of Northern Manitoba. The 70-page report, which will be made available on SEDAR shortly, details the geological setting of its lithium-bearing pegmatite and reviews the historical exploration results by Inco between 1958 to 1961 that indicated a non-National Instrument 43-101-compliant historical resource of 4.8 million tons of 1.27 per cent Li2O over 36.2 feet using a cut-off grade of 0.70 per cent Li2O. Probable resources have been estimated to be 4.6 million tons grading 1.14 per cent Li2O.

The technical report also provides recommendations to First Lithium for future exploration work and includes an initial program of prospecting and geological mapping on its pending mineral exploration licence (395A) followed by soil geochemical surveys designed to assess the area for additional pegmatite dikes and base and precious metals.

A diamond drill program has also been recommended for the purpose of extending the lithium-bearing pegmatite on the Godslith property to depths below those indicated by the historical Inco drilling. A multicommodity assay program for drill core will accompany the drill program.

A qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources, the issuer is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources and the historical estimate should not be relied upon.

First Lithium has also completed an initial engagement meeting with the Manto Sipi Cree Nation at Gods River, Man., and established parameters for a working relationship with the community.

recht bullish eingestellt.......wie abschl. fazit zu entnehmen ist......

Das Ding muss man halten, und zwar über viele Jahre,

Der Freefloat ist ja lächerlich klein und bietet noch

Die aktuelle Aktionärsstruktur würd mich mal interessieren.

Also wenn ein großer Investor es richtig angestellt hat, besitzt
er nach den letzten Umsätzen den Freefloat zu weiten Teilen.
Wenn ich die Kohle hätte, hätte ich das gemacht. Das wäre ein Jahrhundertgeschäft.

Das nächste Shareholder meeting dürfte sehr interessant werden. Vieleicht ist ja nur einer da. LOL

Mineral Hill Industries Ltd. announces Additional Lithium Property Acquisition
Mineral Hill Industries Ltd. (“MHI” or “Company”) wishes to announce that it has acquired the “International Property” claims which represent additional lithium occurrences within the general area of MHI’s 773.46 hectares “Chubb Lithium” property announced on May 12th, 2009.
The Chubb and International properties contain multiple target areas for lithium mineralization and represent an ideal geological environment for hosting large tonnage-high grade lithium deposits.
The Chubb Lithium property is located in the Archean Abitibi Greenstone belt in the La Corne Towship (NTS sheet 35C05) about 32 km northwest of Val d’Or, Quebec. Access to the property is excellent. The lithium mineralization within the Chubb Lithium property is contained in the mineral spodumene within three
parallel, zoned and steeply dipping granitic pegmatite dykes oriented N10°-15°W and intruding granodioritic/quartz monzodioritic rocks. Spodumene content reaches 15-25% in the pegmatites with subordinate amounts of colombotantalite, beryl, molybdenite and bismuthine. Early work in 1956 by American Lithium Corporation involved trenching and short hole drilling. In 1994, les Mines
Wrightbar conducted a small drilling campaign totaling 330 m in 4 holes (GM 52881). The best intersection results were 1.62 wt.% Li2O/3.72 m (hole L-94-1), 1.25 wt. % Li2O/2.19 m (hole L-93-3) and 1.06 wt. % Li2O/0.61 m (hole L-94-4).
The International Property is also located in the Abitibi Greenstone in the Figuery Township (NTS sheet 32D08) about 16 km south of the town of Amos. In the field, the property reveals two zoned spodumene-bearing granitic pegmatite dykes invading metsedimentary rocks. The first dyke (290°/80°), located on the
western bank of the Harricana River, exposes a spodumene-rich core with a 1 m thick zone rich in spodumene. Accessory colombo-tantalite is present (MB 89- 29). The other pegmatite dyke lies on the eastern flank of a dirt road in a farm'’s field and contains a small green spodumene zone and accessory colombotantalite and molydenite. From 1951 to 1955, the Lithium Corporation of America carried out various drilling campaigns consisting of 89 DDH in lots 39 and 40, Range II. The campaigns unravelled a large spodumene-bearing dyke, 200 m long and 5 to 15 m wide accompanied by satellite dykes and dykelets(GM12686A and B). The company reported an inferred reserve of 135,000 t grading 0.95 wt.% Li2O on a 119 X 104 m zone having a thickness of 3.7 m (RP
466). This report is not 43-101 compliant.
MHI considers the International Property with its multiple lithium target areas not only a valuable addition to the Company’s focus on lithium metals, but its proximity and logistics to the Chubb lithium property will make MHI’s exploration efforts within Québec also more economically efficient.

The Option Agreement (the “Agreement”) to acquire the additional 100% interest in and to all 12 contiguous mineral claims of the “International Property” covering approximately 276.35 hectares located within the Figuery Township in the Province of Québec, is subject to applicable regulatory approval and in consideration of MHI making cash payments in the amount of $83,108 and issuing 600,000 common shares to the Optionors over three years from the
effective date of the regulatory approval of the Agreement.

Angeblich meinte das Management, daß durch dieses PP und den Tonnen an ausgeübten Warrants mehr als genügend Geld zur verfügung steht, um das diesjährige Bohrprogramm finanzieren und eventuell erweitern zu können.

Klingt plausibel. Jetzt wäre interessant, wieviel Geld sie brauchen und wieviel sie haben (Schätze mal $ 1.250.000,-). Na wenn das reicht - Attacke!!!!!!

General Motors Announces Plans for Lithium Battery Plant

General Motors is now stepping up its commitment to green transport. This new found commitment has come about after General Motors announced its plans to open America’s very first commercial automaker-operated lithium battery manufacturing site.

It is reported that General Motors will be investing more than £25 million into a site in Browntown Township, Michigan. There the company will produce lithium ion batteries for its ever growing fleet of green transport cars.

The new move just further reiterates General Motors’ commitment to green practices. The car manufacturer has also noted that all of the equipment at the new plant, with the exception of specific battery machinery, will be recycled from its other branches.

The General Motors president and chief executive, Fritz Henderson, said that the developing and the producing of these advanced batteries is a very important step in General Motors’ journey to becoming the leader in electric vehicles. He went on to say that the state-of-the-art battery manufacturing site will help to reinforce the fact that the company is committed to achieving its goal to deliver clean, fuel efficient automobiles.

The first General Motors car that will receive the plant’s lithium ion batteries will be the Chevrolet Volt. This is a very highly anticipated car, and the new model is expected to begin production in 2010. This will have it ready for a release in 2011.

Although this is just one of the many steps that General Motors is taking to becoming a greener company, many environmentalists point out that it’s a big step. Not only is General Motors making batteries for cars, but they are doing it with equipment that has been recycled down from its other branches.

Presse: Toyota bezieht Lithium-Ionen-Batterien von Sanyo

Toyota (aktiencheck.de AG) - Der japanische Automobilkonzern Toyota Motor Corp. (ISIN JP3633400001/ WKN 853510) wird Presseangaben zufolge Lithium-Ionen-Batterien vom japanischen Elektronikkonzern Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd. (ISIN JP3340600000/ WKN 856548) beziehen, um damit Hybrid-Fahrzeuge auszustatten.

Wie der "Nikkei" am Mittwoch berichtet, wird Toyota die Batterien voraussichtlich ab 2011 beziehen, um damit die Nachfrage zu befriedigen, da das eigene Batterie-Joint Venture dazu nicht mehr in der Lage ist.

Laut der Zeitung will Toyota die Sanyo-Batterien zunächst in einem Hybrid-Minivan einsetzen, der voraussichtlich um 2011 auf den Markt kommen wird. Letztlich könnte man die Batterien auch bei anderen Fahrzeugtypen verwenden, wie z.B. Plug-In Hybrid-Modelle und Elektrofahrzeuge.

Die Aktie von Toyota Motor schloss heute in Tokio bei 4.050 Japanischen Yen (JPY) (+0,24 Prozent), die von Sanyo Electric bei 247 JPY (+10,26 Prozent).

First Lithium Resources* (MCI : TSX-V : $0.20), Net Change: -0.03, % Change: -13.33%, Volume: 3,854,758
Basking in Basinal Brines. First Lithium has pulled back since climbing 228% during August 1-18 to a high of $0.295;
however, it has held on to a 117% increase month-to-date. Given that junior Canadian lithium explorers and developers rose
dramatically in August as lithium mania drove investors to the market, it’s not surprising First Lithium was not buoyed by news
that it has commenced research on its Valleyview Property in Alberta to delineate optimal targets for lithium-bearing brine
sampling and analysis. Results are expected within two to four weeks, at which time the company will move toward securing the recommended samples for compositional analysis. The company currently holds 41 MAIM permits in Alberta covering a
number of reported lithium showings in basinal brines of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. These permits mostly cover
an area outlined by the Alberta Research Council and Alberta Geological Survey as having potential for a large resource of
lithium within formation waters. The Alberta Research Council and Alberta Geological Survey provide an “historical resource
estimate” (which is not NI 43-101 compliant) of about 515,000 tonnes of lithium; or about 2.44 billion lbs of Li2O. The
company’s nearly 1,000,000 acres covers a large portion of the area described in the report.

"After more extensive dd, I have come to the conclusion that WLC Western Lithium Canada Corp. will be the leader as far as Lithium plays.

CLQ will be a very close 2nd and might surpass WLC from time to time but their share float may hamper their chances.

RM has good acreage and proximity to producers making it interesting.

MCI surely has high potential and their share float will keep them from falling. They plan on expanding their resource starting with a winter drill campaign.

LI (Lithium One) looks ok but after dd I could not find a historic resource on their James Bay claim.

FIRST LITHIUM RESOURCES CLOSES BROKERED FINANCING

First Lithium Resources Inc. has received conditional approval for and closed its brokered private placement previously announced in Stockwatch on Aug. 10, 2009.

The company issued five million units at a price of 10 cents per unit for gross proceeds of $500,000. Each unit consists of one flow-through common share of the company and one common share purchase warrant.

Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one non-flow-through common share of the company for a period of two years at an exercise price of 15 cents per share in the first year and 25 cents per share in the second year.

Byron Capital Markets, a division of Byron Securities Ltd., acted as agent for the offering and received a cash commission of $40,000 and 500,000 agent's warrants. Each agent's warrant is exercisable into one non-flow-through common share of the company at a price of 10 cents per share for a period of 12 months.

The proceeds of the private placement will be used by the company to finance exploration expenditures on its Canadian properties. All securities issued pursuant to the offering are subject to a hold period expiring on Dec. 29, 2009.

nachdem der lith- sektor die letzten wochen ziemlich heißlief
erleben wir akt. bei geringen umsätzen ne consol- phase.

immer wieder zu beobachten an der börse, daß da eine ´ganz
normale´ ROTATION der sektoren/ branchen einsetzt.....mal coal,
mal U308, jüngst lith. - unabhängig davon bleibe ICH für lith- sektor
auf mittlere sicht bis loooong weiterhin bullish !!!

wie du weißt, ists bei explorern immer sone sache von
´fundamentals´ zu sprechen und vielfach sinds andre
gründe die UPS & DOWNS auslösen


EIN grund jedoch für meine geäußerte annahme liegt nur allein
schon in der akt. MK von grad mal cad-mios 6,- !!!

diese steht in keinem verhältnis zu der von WLC und CLQ mit
53,- bzw. 69,- cad -mios...IMO


für MICH besteht daher einiges aufhol- potential für MCI

WAYS TO PLAY LITHIUM MILLIONAIRE

Investors are flocking to enter the lithium race worried that the flavor of the season will soon end. Relax. Lithium is much more than the hottest trend of the month. The following is a brief snapshot of today's most talked about Canadian lithium explorers. The first two are slightly ahead of the class in assets. Each company is a high risk, high reward play and for that reason, some cautious investors will eliminate them for feeling their share prices are already overblown.

LITHIUM ONE INC (LI) Lithium in Argentina and Canada. $1.65. Argentina is considered to be one of the top 3 "go to" places for lithium.

WESTERN LITHIUM CANADA CORP (WLC) Lithium in Nevada. $1.04. Clayton Valley, Nevada is America's single lithium brine production plant and their "go to" answer for lithium.

RODINIA MINERALS (RM) Lithium in Nevada. .56 cents. A decent portfolio, but it's the one company I can't get a feel for.

TRN GOLD CORP (TNR) Lithium in Nevada. 25 miles from Clayton Valley. .265 cents. TNR has international interests and appeal.

ASHBURTON VENTURES (ABR) Lithium in Nevada. 200 miles from Clayton Valley. 145 cents. The newest junior to enter the lithium scene.

Canada does not have the famous lithium brine production history of Nevada. What's important to note here is that it does have its own lithium producer; Tantalum Mining Corporation of Canada Ltd. was established in 1967. Canada has as much potential for lithium exploration and eventual production as any other area. However, the quality and type of lithium remains to be explored and studied. Thus, the market is unaware of all the facts and it's not entirely sure how to digest lithium within Canada at this initial stage.

CANADIAN LITHIUM (CLQ) Lithium in Canada. .61 cents.

FIRST LITHIUM RESOURCES (MCI) Lithium in Canada. .21 cents. According to the street, they're examining prospects outside of Canada as well.

Each company is unique, but all are aggressively working to build their lithium project portfolios. Every investor has different deciding factors from share price, company acquisitions, stage of exploration, development, location, financial support to management.

They're all vital factors, but it's equally important to ferret out which companies enjoy the love of heavy investors and Wall Street. Research is crucial since no investor wants to lose money and junior exploration companies are as high risk, high reward as you can get.

Since each company has its lure, which to bet on? If you've got the little grey cells of Poirot or insight of Jane Marple, you should be able to easily work out the next big break out. If not, "pas de problem, mon ami."

It's obvious the next company to sprint will be Ashburton. The technicals do not lie, nor the volume. The lowest share price makes it the one with the largest and quickest upside. Also important to note, ABR is expecting results from the work completed near Underworld any day now.

Kennt einer die derzeitige Anzahl der shares? Es sind in der Vergangenheit (2 Wochen im August ca. 50 Mio Aktienumsatz?)teilweise sehr hohe Stückzahlen gehandelt worden, so dass man von einem bedeutend höherem (z.Zt. mir bekannt knapp unter 30 Mio)Aktienvolumen ausgehen muss.

Keine News, keine Bohrergebnisse und charttechnisch wird gerade die letzte Unterstützung bei 0,13 getestet. Könnte jetzt ganz schnell unter 0,10 gehen. So sieht ein Verlierer aus. Schade, aber zum Glück habe ich nur eine kleine Posi MCI. Bleibt nur noch das Prinzip Hoffnung. Also durchhalten, und wer weiß - vielleicht in 1-2 Jahren sieht die MCI Welt ganz anders aus.

Auf Grund der schlechten Performance, habe ich mal ne mail an Frist Lithium geschrieben und habe innerhalb eines Tages eine Antwort erhalten.

I am an investor from germany and I am a member of the german stockboard
wallstreet-online. There are a few things I would like to ask you about
your company and post them on the german stockboard.

1. There was no news release out in the last 3 month. What was the reason?

2. When can we expect the next news release?

3. What activities are currently going on, on your properties?

4. What activities are planed for the next 6 month?

5. The performance of this stock over the last 3 month was quiet poor.
Some even say you are closing the doors! So please tell me 3 reasons why
one should invest in your company.

Hi Stefan. Thank you for your interest. You must be unaware that the company
has had 3 news releases since september 30. This may be due to the fact that
our website has been maintained terribly by the host. He has now been fired,
and a brand new website should be up and running next week. This new website
will allow me, personally, to make updates, post news releases etc and thus
not have to wait for anyone else. On the properties:
1. Manitoba: work permits have been applied for, but given the location of
the property, it will not be until spring when we can continue working. I am
guessing that this is the main reason for the stock's poor performance over
the past 3 months, though if you have been following the lithium space, you
will know that all of the exploration companies have fallen back
significantly from their peaks 3 months ago.
2.Alberta: I have hired the geologist with the most knowledge of the
property, and the most knowledge of oilfield brines generally, to select
targets for brine samples (completed), and to approach the oil and gas well
operators for procurement of these samples (underway). An update from him is
overdue, in my opinion, but I have been away at a conference all week.

I assume that the lithium properties are of primary interest to you, but
additionally, I just spent a week in the Yukon (the conference). We have
already begun work on the gold property there that we acquired recently, an
aerial magntic survey, and the data should arrive very soon.

I don't know what the German stockboards are like, but if they are anything
like here, I'm not surprised if someone might post that the Company is
closing its doors, as they promote another company that they have interest
in. I assure you, we are not closing shop. We have $1.7 million in the bank
and are currently seeking an additional lithium property in either Nevada,
Chile or Argentina.

I hope this has been helpful, and anticipate that once the new website is
up and running, all of our investors will be better informed than they have
been in the past.

Lithium Batterien brauchen Kobalt, ohne Kobalt läuft gar nichts!
Und Kobalt ist weitaus weniger als Lithium vorhanden!

First Lithium Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: MCI)(PINK SHEETS: FLNTF)(FRANKFURT: MHN) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has returned to the Mollie River Property to continue drilling DDH MR-10-10, which was previously drilled to a depth of 194m. The final 9m interval of that core revealed elevated gold and copper levels (see news release March 2, 2011). Project geologist Mark Fedikow stated, "The association of gold mineralization in altered mafic to intermediate intrusions is strongly suggestive of the geologic setting of the Trelawney gold deposits." Drilling should commence before the end of the week.

The depth to which the Company will extend the hole will be determined by visual examination of the core as it is extracted.

The Mollie river property is located between Sudbury and Timmins, Ontario, approximately 4 km from the eastern edge of Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc.'s Chester Gold Complex.
