Hallo zusammen,
noch ist es Zeit, zu Kursen unter 1 Dollar einzusteigen.
Keiner schreibt etwas über diesen Wert in Deutschland und ich denke, dass ist der beste Kaufindikator für einen Wert.
Hier wird die Sonne stärker als bei allen Solarwerten zusammen scheinen, da die ersten 50 Megawatt auch in der Nacht kostengünstig am Netz sind. Andere Geothermiewerte stecken noch in der Kindergartenphase, jedoch NGLPF geht bald ans Netz!

Für alle , welche sich von der Inbetriebnahme der Anlage überzeugen

Ursprünglich sollte die Anlage (von Ormat schlüsselfertig gebaut)
am 31.12.2009 ans Netz gehen, nun kommt aber schon 3 Monate früher der Startschuss . Also somit startet unsere Neujahrsrakete früher.

Also ich finde die einzigen Werte die in einem Energiedepot nicht fehlen dürfte, wären RWE und EON. Ich könnte mir niemals vorstellen zig tausend Euro in so einen Wert zu stecken, der außer ein paar Planungen noch nichts vorzuweisen hat. Das soll natürlich nicht heißen, dass ich dem Wert keine gute Performance zutraue nur ist das alles sehr Riskant und gut schlafen könnte ich bei sowas nicht.

Wenn alle Planungen realisiert würdem, gäbe es wohl Tankstellen von Algodyne und Izmir hätte einen Tiefseehafen.

Will den Wert nicht schlecht reden, aber eine gesunde Portion misstrauen ist angebracht.

Langfristig wirst du aber mit RWE und EON nicht wirklich viel Geld verdienen.

Wegen Preistreiberei !
Für den Preis von 2 Kilowattstunden Strom von der Eon, bekommst du schon eine Aktie von NGLPF.

Richtig, mit EON und RWE ist kaum Geld zu verdienen, aber dafür mit
China Energy Recovery A0Q7VW, führend in Wärmerückgewinnungsanlagen.

Das ist mir schon klar, dass ich mit ner Eon kein Milliardenvermögen machen kann, aber mit meinem noch verfügbaren Kapital von 25000€ könnte ich hier nicht Investieren ohne den Kurs deutlich nach oben zu ziehen und es wäre für mich schon hart mit anzusehen wenn ich hier mal innerhalb von ein paar Wochen 15000€ verlieren würde. Das wäre nämlich passiert wenn ich vor einem Jahr ein investment hier eingegangen wäre.

Nätürlich könnte mir das z.b mit einer Eon auch passieren aber die Chancen dafür sind deutlich geringer. Ich bleibe dabei, dass das hier maximal eine Depotbeimischung ist.

Da hast du natürlich recht. Man sollte immer genau aufpassen in welche Firmen man sein Geld investiert...sonst landet das Geld noch bei jemand anderen.

hab mich auch mal ein bißchen mit diesem Wert beschäftigt.
Ich konnte allerdings nicht herausfinden zu welchen Bedingungen sind den 20 Jahresvertrag mit NV Energie (ehemals Nevada Power Company)abgeschlossen haben. Sprich wieviel bekommen sie für eine kWh. Man könnte damit ja den zukünftigen Umsatz berechnen.

Managment nach. Ich habe schon genug mit den Jungs gesprochen
und ich sage hier nur eins: Wenn jemand Sachverstand in punkto
Geothermie hat, dann sind es die Jungs von NGLPF. Den Strom
verschenken sie auf jeden Fall nicht. Die Anlage ist sehr schnell
frei von der Finanzierung. Dort arbeiten auch schlaue Banker mit,
die die Finanzierung gestemmt haben! Und das in dieser Zeit.

50MW entspricht 1,2 Millionen kWh pro Tag
Allerdings habe ich keine Ahnung wieviel sie für eine kWh bekommen.
Der Durschnittspreis in den USA beträgt zwischen 6-7 Euro ct/kWh.
Damit gerechnet ergibt sich ca 28 Mio Euro Jahresumsatz.

mit sicherheit wird es jetzt schwieriger für die regenerativen...und die b........enen lobbyisten der atomstromer jubilieren...aber nicht zu toll....wir werden solange auf die strasse gehen bis auch der letzte der clements-müllers etc es begriffen hat......keine laufzeitverlängerung

Hallo WT,

da haben doch die Weicheier in München mit - 16 % in aller Panik
verkauft, schon steigt die Aktie wieder auf die alten Höhen.
So schüttelt man eben Angsthasen raus. Wer nur ein wenig rechnet,
kommt ganz schnell auf einen Wert von über 5 Dollar pro Aktie.
Der erste Abschnitt wird über 50 MW im kommenden Jahr erzeugen.

ins Netz begonnen hat. Jede Stunde klingelt nun die Kasse und diese Dollars bringen schon vor dem eigentlichen Jahreswechsel gute Einnahmen.

ich kann jedoch nicht verstehen, dass hier in Deutschland die Umsätze noch so niedrig sind. Hier besteht wirklich eine Riesen-
möglichkeit, sein Geld zu vermehren und dazu noch in einem der
besten alternativen Energieproduzenten investiert zu sein.
Wenn NGLPF so erfolgreich weitermacht, wir über 200 MW Leistung
am Netz haben, dann kann ich mich in die Frührente begeben.

VANCOUVER, B.C. (October 13, 2009) -- Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (NGP), (TSX-V: NGP, OTC-BB: NGLPF) , today announced that it has mandated John Hancock Life Insurance Company ("John Hancock") to be the exclusive debt provider for an up to US$95 Million Term Loan Facility for the Blue Mountain, 'Faulkner 1' geothermal project. The John Hancock Facility is expected to close in December 2009, subject to satisfactory project and legal due diligence, documentation and final credit approval.
Further to the above, on October 7, 2009, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) issued its first Loan Guarantee Solicitation under its Financial Institutions Partnership Program (FIPP). The new DOE program is designed to facilitate long term financing for renewable development projects using commercial technology and applies to 80 percent of the loan amount. DOE will make available up to $750 million to pay for the Credit Subsidy Cost of loan guarantees which it estimates will support guarantees for $4-8 billion in loans. John Hancock, as Lender for the 'Faulkner 1' geothermal project, intends to make an application to DOE for a Loan Guarantee under the FIPP.
The interest rate per annum under the term facility will be fixed at the time of the funding date at the current yield to maturity on the U.S. Treasury securities with a term equal to the average life of the loan plus a spread. Based on the today's current treasury yield and depending on the DOE participation with a Loan Guarantee, the John Hancock facility would be priced between 5.0% and 7.5%.
The Loan Proceeds can be used for funding a Debt Service Reserve Account, for drilling additional geothermal wells planned to bring the 'Faulkner 1' plant up to its rated output of approximately 40MW (net) or 49.5MW (gross), and for partial repayment of the 14% TCW note.
In combination with anticipated proceeds from the Federal Investment Tax Credit/Grant offered under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), NGP intends to recapitalize the Blue Mountain Faulkner 1 project.
"We are very pleased to have John Hancock supporting our project at Blue Mountain with their vast experience and long history in the geothermal industry," said Brian Fairbank, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Die Anlage John-Hancock wird erwartet, um im Dezember 2009 abhängig vom zufrieden stellenden Projekt und legale gebührende Sorgfalt, Dokumentation und abschließende Kreditzusage zu schließen.
Weiter zum oben genannten am 7. Oktober 2009 gab das US- (DOE)Energieministerium seine erste Kreditbürgschafts-Aufforderung im Rahmen seines Finanzinstitut-Partnerschafts-Programms (FIPP) heraus. Das neue DAMHIRSCHKUH-Programm ist entworfen, um langfristige Finanzierung für auswechselbare Entwicklungsprojekte unter Verwendung der Handelstechnologie zu erleichtern und zutrifft auf 80 Prozent des Darlehensbetrags. DAMHIRSCHKUH stellt bis $750 Million zur Verfügung, um für die Kredit-Beihilfe-Kosten der Kreditbürgschaften zu zahlen, die sie stützt Garantien für $4-8 Milliarde in den Darlehen schätzt. John Hancock, als Lender für den „Faulkner 1" geothermisches Projekt, beabsichtigt, einen Antrag unter dem FIPP zu stellen der DAMHIRSCHKUH für eine Kreditbürgschaft.
Der Zinssatz pro Jahr unter der Ausdruckanlage ist zu der Zeit des Finanzierungsdatums an der Umlaufrendite zur Reife auf den US-Schatzanweisungen mit einem Ausdruck örtlich festgelegt, der dem durchschnittlichen Leben des Darlehens plus eine Verbreitung gleich ist. Basiert auf dem heutigen gegenwärtigen Fiskusertrag und abhängig von der DAMHIRSCHKUH-Teilnahme mit einer Kreditbürgschaft, würde für Preis Anlage John-Hancock zwischen 5,0% und 7,5% festgesetzt.
Der Anleiheerlös kann verwendet werden für die Finanzierung der Brunnen des Schuldendienst-Rücklagenkontos, denn der Bohrung zusätzlichen geothermischen, die geplant werden, um dem „Faulkner 1" zu holen Anlage bis zu seinem bewerteten Ertrag ungefähr 40MW (Netz) oder des 49.5MW (grob) und für teilweise Rückzahlung der 14% TCW Anmerkung.
Im Verbindung mit vorweggenommenen Erträgen von der BundesSteuergutschrift für Anschaffung von Anlagegütern/vom Grant, die unter der amerikanischen Wiederaufnahmen-und Neuanlage-Tat angeboten werden (ARRA), beabsichtigt NGP recapitalize das blaue Projekt Gebirgsfaulkner-1.

gehe ich in den Vorruhestand.

Hier kann man nur weiter ganz vorsichtig in den Staaten kaufen, damit der Kurs nicht zu schnell abhebt.

Der Schweizer Professor Ladislaus Rybach von der International Geothermal Association nennt die Zahlen: Die geothermische Stromerzeugung weltweit könne von heute 10 Gigawatt auf 70 Gigawatt im Jahr 2050 gesteigert werden – mit „konventioneller Technologie“. Mit neuer Technik seien gar 150 Gigawatt möglich. Gemeint ist damit, was heute unter dem Kürzel EGS läuft; es steht für „Enhanced Geothermal Systems“. Hierunter fällt die Nutzung von Hochtemperatur-Geothermie, die über die klassischen heißen Grundwasservorkommen hinausgeht. Damit sind meist jene Projekte gemeint, die man bislang HDR nannte, Hot-Dry-Rock. Es ist die Nutzung heißen Gesteins im Stil eines Durchlauferhitzers: Man presst Wasser in die Tiefe, und pumpt es an anderer Stelle erhitzt wieder empor. Da hierfür keine natürlichen Wasservorkommen, sondern nur ein warmen Untergrund benötigt wird, gelten die Potenziale dieser Technik als enorm. Europas Pilotprojekt liegt im französischen Soultz-sous-Forêts. Hier wird seit Juni 2008 Strom erzeugt. Statt eines klas sischen Dampfprozesses wird ein organisches Arbeitsmittel genutzt (ORC, Organic Rankine Cycle). Das Kraftwerk erreicht eine elektrische Leistung von maximal 2,1 Megawatt bei einer thermischen Leistung von 13 Megawatt. Fließraten von 30 bis 35 Liter pro Sekunde bei einer Fördertemperatur von 175 Grad sind ganz brauchbare Parameter. Am Oberrhein gilt diese Technik als prädestiniert.

Christiane Ofner und Georg Wieber, Geologen von der Universität Mainz, sehen zudem in gefluteten Erzbergwerken „ein großes geothermisches Potenzial“. Erste Projekte gibt es schon: Am ehemaligen Steinkohlebergwerk im Untergrund von Aachen und dem niederländischen Heerlen wurde Anfang Oktober das weltweit erste Grubenwasser-Kraftwerk in Betrieb genommen. Im Jahr 2009 wird in Deutschland nach Einschätzung des Bundesverbandes Geothermie lediglich das Kraftwerk Bruchsal neu ans Netz gehen. Weitere sieben Projekte sind derzeit in Arbeit, die ab 2010 fertiggestellt werden sollen.

Applies for Federal Cash Grant for Faulkner 1 Geothermal Power Plant

VANCOUVER, B.C. (October 19, 2009) -- Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (NGP) (TSX-V: NGP, OTC-BB: NGLPF) today announced that its US subsidiary, NGP Blue Mountain 1 LLC, has applied for a Cash Grant of US $57.9 million for the Faulkner 1 geothermal power plant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The Cash Grant has a value of 30% of the total eligible capital costs for the project and will be paid directly by the US Department of the Treasury.

On October 9th, 2009, NGP's "Faulkner 1" geothermal power plant did achieve the remaining milestones necessary to file the grant application with the US Department of Treasury, including an audit of eligible costs by an independent third party accounting firm and certification of the power plant by an independent engineering consultant. NGP anticipates that Treasury will review the application made October 13th, 2009, and make payment within 60 days of this date.

NGP will use the funds to reduce the outstanding TCW loan balance and/or fund the drilling proposed by the earlier announced GeothermEx modeling.

AWARDED US$57.9 MILLION FEDERAL GRANT FOR BLUE MOUNTAIN 'FAULKNER 1'

VANCOUVER, B.C. (November 12, 2009) -- Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (NGP) (TSX-V: NGP, OTC-BB: NGLPF) today announced that the United States Department of the Treasury has informed NGP that the Company's application in the amount of US $57.9 million for Specified Energy Property in Lieu of Tax/Credits relating to the Blue Mountain 'Faulkner 1' geothermal power plant has been approved under Section 1603, Division B of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Payment of the full amount is expected on or before November 15, 2009..

The 'Faulkner 1' geothermal power plant was placed in service on October 9, 2009 and is currently producing power at a sustainable rate of 27 megawatts (MW) net. As previously released, plant output is limited by deep injection capacity. Three additional deep wells are planned to bring the plant up to full production capacity of greater than 40 MW (net). The Company reports that grant funds will be used to complete the additional drilling and pipeline connection.

Plant capacity tests indicate that the power conversion system is approximately 20% more efficient than the base design. The improved efficiency results from both higher brine inlet temperature to the plant and a more efficient power conversion. Thus the company expects the net output of the plant can be increased up to 47 MW (net) with additional fluid production.

ANNOUNCES SUCCESSFUL DRILLING TO DATE WILL INCREASE PRODUCTION AT BLUE MOUNTAIN FAULKNER 1 GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT

VANCOUVER, B.C. (January 7, 2010) -- Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (NGP) (TSX-V: NGP, OTC-BB: NGLPF) is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed two new deep injection wells that, when connected, the Company believes will enable the Faulkner 1 plant to operate at approximately 40MW (net). Two or more additional wells will be drilled as part of the current program to further optimize production from the existing plant.

"Drilling progress has been faster than anticipated and the overall program is expected to be completed significantly under budget. The first two injection wells exceed expectations and NGP believes that the results will enable us to considerably enhance production at Faulkner 1," stated Brian Fairbank, President and CEO of Nevada Geothermal Power Inc.

Injection Well 55-15, ½ mile west of the existing production well field and 1300 feet north of existing injection Well 57-15, was drilled to a total depth of 7707 feet. Maximum temperature recorded in the Well 55-15 was 395°F (202°C).

Injection test Well 58-11, ½ mile northeast of the existing production field, was drilled to a total depth of 4627 feet. Well 58-11 is an exceptional injector even though it is smaller in diameter (7 7/8 inches) than other reservoir development wells. The maximum down-hole temperature was 330°F (166°C). Well 58-11 confirms a new area for injection and extends the area of the known high-temperature geothermal reservoir further to the north allowing flexibility in future well field management.

The larger of two drilling rigs currently on site is set up and is currently drilling Well 91-15. This well is designed to be a 400°F (200-°C) production well. The second smaller rig will be used to drill remaining injection wells.

Pipeline construction has commenced starting with injection Well 55-15, expected to be connected by the end of January, 2010. Likewise, subsequent wells will be brought on line as they are completed.

Vancouver, v. Chr. breitete (29. Januar 2010), Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (NGP) (TSX.V: NGP, OTCBB: NGLPF), zuvor berichtet, dass die 49,5 MW Faulkner 1 Geothermie-Kraftwerk, ein Kraftwerk Ausfall erlebt am 17. Januar 2010. NGP und Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Auftragnehmer, für die das Werk und elektrischen Systemen geliefert werden, arbeiten zusammenarbeiten, um die Anlage wieder ans Netz, so rasch wie möglich zu erhalten.

Die erstmalige Prüfung durch die EPC-Contractor hat festgestellt, dass die Anlage automatisch abgeschaltet wegen eines Fehler in der begraben Netzkabel System. Leistung nach außen führenden Leitungen von der Steuerung Gebäude waren nicht korrekt konfiguriert, so dass übermäßige Hitze aufzubauen, was zu eventuellen Ausfall-Kabel in einem abgelegenen Teil des Stromkabels führt. Ein Ersatz Stromkabel ist geplant, installiert werden, die voraussichtlich mehrere Wochen dauern, um vollständig ist. Das Kraftwerk, einschließlich der elektrischen Steuerung ist durch die Garantie im Rahmen des EPC-Vertrag fallen.

Entwicklung Brunnenbau in der Blue Mountain verläuft reibungslos und ist im Budget. Vier Bohrungen wurden ursprünglich geplant. Vancouver, B.C. (February 24, 2010), Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (NGP) (TSX.V: NGP, OTCBB: NGLPF) today provided an update on its geothermal power projects -- Crump Geyser and Pumpernickel Valley. The Crump Geyser and Pumpernickel Valley Geothermal Projects are ready for development drilling in 2010. NGP plans to maintain a schedule such that new power plants can be constructed and placed in service by the end of 2013 or within the time required to qualify for generous federal tax grants available under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Crump Geyser:
Ongoing geothermal resource evaluation and characterization of the Crump Geyser property has led to the selection of initial production test well targets. Three development wells are planned in 2010 along with other work.

Within the project area, a prominent, active geothermal system is situated along the range front fault zone and extending eastward into the basin. A geothermal system model has been developed from:

- the distribution and character of extensive hot springs along the west margin of the Warner Valley Rift
- extensive geological and structural mapping
- fluid geochemistry and geothermometry
- airborne and ground magnetic studies, gravity surveys and electrical resistivity mapping

The reservoir model considers that the reservoir configuration is controlled by the predominant range front fault zone, cross cutting NW transfer faults, and permeable, layered volcanic formations underlying the Warner Valley.

An airborne magnetic survey, jointly funded by NGP and the US Department of Energy (DOE) will begin this week, to be followed with a seismic reflection survey, supplemental ground magnetic surveys, and precision gravity surveys. These data will provide an unprecedented level of structural, thermal, and geochemical detail of the reservoir, which will enhance targeting precision, and accelerate future drilling and development operations at the Crump Geyser Geothermal Project.

NGP plans further work under a separate cost-shared drilling program with the DOE which includes exploration drilling outward from the core area around Crump Geyser, that will expand the understanding of the reservoir configuration and guide future drilling. Eight widely spaced, thermal gradient holes will be drilled in the first half of this year, followed closely by two deeper slim-holes designed to penetrate and test the reservoir. Thermal gradient well permit applications have been filed and are pending review with the Oregon State Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI).

Pumpernickel Valley:
Exploration at the Pumpernickel Valley Geothermal Project has identified production test well targets associated with the Pumpernickel Fault and several parallel piedmont faults immediately east of Pumpernickel Fault indicated by seismic surveys along the west side of Pumpernickel Valley.

Extensive exploration work has been completed in the period between 2004 and 2010. Thermal gradient drilling, fluid geochemistry, extensive gravity, resistivity and seismic reflection surveys highlight multiple areas of interest within a potentially productive hydrothermal system. Geochemistry of hot spring and geothermal fluids recovered in wells predicts 338ºF (170ºC) reservoir source fluids migrating up from great depths along multiple, sub-parallel, extensional faults having significant lateral extent north and south on the lease holdings.

Three deep development wells are planned, all on private leases within NGP's 5760-acre (9 square mile) lease hold. A drilling permit has been obtained for the drilling of a 7-inch diameter development well that is planned to start the second quarter of 2010.

Die (kurzfristigen) Probleme mit FaulknerI (Defektes Kabel) sind vollstaendig behoben und die Anlage ist wieder unter Volllast on-line. Weitere Bohrungen/wells sind unterweges, um die Kapazitaet von FaulknerI weiter zu erhoehen.
NGP hat somit
a) abgeliefert was versprochen wurde
b) weiters Potential auf Faulkner und 3 weiteren properties in Aussicht gestellt

mit der news von gestern (stock options zu 1CDN$), duerfte - wenn es auch mit 150.000 Stueck nicht wirklich viele sind - klar sein, dass der Kurs bald von der Leine gelassen wird

Heute wieder mit news. FaulkerI unter Kontrolle und ueber Plan. Jedes MW ueber Plan generiert cash und zwar reichlich. Das Problem ist immer noch die weitere Finanzierung, so steht immer noch die Absegnung weiteren Kapitals durch JOhn Hancock und US department of Energy aus. Das sollte aber kommen. Dann waere der Ausbau von Faulkner und wohl auch der Beginn der Bohrungen Auf Pumpernickl und Crup Geysir quais eine gemachte Sache.
Moeglicherweise ein guter Zeitpunkt zum Einstieg/ Zukauf

Schoen waere es wenn das management auch mal ein Signal geben wuerde und eigene Aktien mit eigenem cash kauft

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (TSX.V: NGP, OTCBB: NGLPF) is pleased to provide the following update on its activities.

Blue Mountain, Faulkner 1 Geothermal Plant Output: The Faulkner 1 geothermal plant has been operating continuously since its restart on March 5th. For the period of April 1st to 30th, with cable repairs completed, output averaged approximately 37 MW (net) and plant availability was greater than 98%. Gross revenue generated for the month was approximately US$2.0 million.

The plant has achieved record electric power production over the past week, with peak outputs exceeding 53MW (gross) and with 41MW (net),, enough power to supply 40,000 homes, being delivered to the grid. The increased production was enabled by operational adjustments at the plant.

Construction work (pump installation, pipeline construction, and power line) is underway to connect production well 44-14 which is expected to raise potential plant output by a further 5-7 MW.

Following completion of the wellfield work in mid-June, NGP will be in a position to apply for a further ITC/cash grant to recover approximately $7M in costs.

Debt Financing Update: Work continues in earnest by the Company, its lender John Hancock, and the Department of Energy (DOE) on a senior debt financing of up to US$98M under the DOE’s Commercial Technology Loan Guarantee Program.

Other Development Projects: The Company is preparing for production drilling in 2010, final feasibility studies in 2011, and for plant completion by the end of 2013 for the Pumpernickel and Crump Geyser Development Projects to position them for ITC/Cash Grants. At Pumpernickel, prerequisite technical surveys have been completed and three production/injection wells are sited and fully permitted. At Crump Geyser, an aeromagnetic survey has recently been flown to define target structures. Permit applications have been filed for temperature gradient, reservoir confirmation and production wells. Initial well permits are expected shortly.

Engages Advisor For Strategic Review; Project Development Update
Vancouver, B.C. (January 17, 2012), Nevada Geothermal Power Inc. (NGP) (TSX.V: NGP, OTCBB: NGLPF) is pleased to announce that it has engaged Canaccord Genuity as financial advisor to NGP to determine strategic alternatives in the restructuring of it's mezzanine debt and in the recapitalization of the Company.

ONGOING INJECTION DISTRIBUTION AT BLUE MOUNTAIN PROVIDING ENCOURAGING RESULTS

A program to preserve generation capacity was initiated in 2011 and is nearing completion. The program objective is to shift injection away from the injection wells that return cooled geothermal fluid from the plant back to the production zone too quickly.

Three existing unused wells, 58A-15, 38-14, and 89-11, were selected to be placed into injection service following field tests and computer simulation modeling. In early November 2011, injection into well 58A-15 commenced at a rate of 600 gpm to a shallow permeable horizon that appears from tracer tests to be isolated from current production zones such that cooled fluid is not expected to return to production wells. Well 38-14, requiring new pipeline construction, was connected and injection at a rate of 150-200 gpm commenced Dec 28, 2011 on the southern margin of the producing field. Well 58A-15 and 38-14 injection has resulted in a lessening of temperature declines at the production wells. Temperature declines at some wells (14-14, 26A-14) appear to have ceased. The third well 89-11 was cleaned out and a slotted liner was installed in November 2011; injection tests confirm that the well is a "better than expected" injector capable of taking approximately 2000 gpm. Pipeline construction to 89-11 was recently completed and injection commenced on January 12, 2012 starting at 500 gpm to be increased in stages. The further redistribution of injection into 89-11 is expected to further moderate observed temperature declines in production wells.

Reservoir simulation modeling by GeothermEx, Inc. has estimated that the re-distribution of injection into 58A-15, 38-14 and 89-11 will allow senior loan covenants to be met through the remaining 17-year life of the facility. The mezzanine debt service coverage ratios are in breach and the Company is working cooperatively with lenders and its advisor to restructure the loan.

A tax-assisted financing to monetize deductions is planned with Marathon Capital, LLC as agent, following the completion of the current injection program and confirmation of the reservoir response.

BLUE MOUNTAIN RESERVOIR DEVELOPMENT

As announced previously, NGP completed a comprehensive independent study by Engeocon LLC. of all resource and geotechnical information to better understand the geothermal fluid flow system, recommend strategies for arresting slow thermal declines, and recommend additional field development steps to increase production at the Faulkner 1 geothermal power plant. The study forms the basis for NGP's current reservoir management strategy and identifies new injection targets on fault structures trending north and northeast from the existing wellfield. New deep production drilling targets are identified on known structures to the west.

The Company proposes a three-well development program comprised of two new northern injectors (55-10, 65-11) and one new production well (47-15) to achieve a targeted 53 MW gross plant output (42 MW net delivered to the grid). The two new injectors will be drilled in sections 10 and 11 to shift the injection from the current western injectors to the northern periphery of the field. A new production well would be sited in the hottest part of the known field west of the current four deep western injectors.

The $20 million drilling and development project has excellent financial returns because wells can be placed in service as they are completed and connected by pipeline to use the excess production capacity of the existing Faulkner 1 plant. Production increases may require the approvals from NVE, the senior debt holder and certain regulatory agencies. GeothermEx has been engaged to independently assess the proposed development project.

OTHER PROJECTS

In addition to Blue Mountain in Nevada, NGP is actively working on development programs at Crump Geyser with Ormat in Oregon and at New Truckhaven in the Imperial Valley region, California.
