Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 41.844.162 von FaxenClown am 26.07.11 09:48:16Ucore can proceed without any technical or other “help’ from MCP

Where do you place UURAF (Ucore) in the hree race? I know they cannot become vertically integrated on their own. More likely they will be acquired (by MCP?). They need deep pockets, and processing expertise that MCP could provide. They do seem to be getting political support in the US. My long position is based on takeover possibility not on their becoming an end product supplier on their own. Your thoughts?

Paul,
I like Ucore very much, because it is a necessary part of any American attempt to regain DOMESTIC self-sufficiency in the production, processing, and use of the rare earths as soon as possible. I think that the US national government and the government of Alaska have recognized this truth.
I believe that Ucore can proceed without any technical or other “help’ from MCP. I doubt that MCP will aquire Ucore or control of Ucore.
I have visited Ucore’s Alaska sites more than once and will shortly do so again with a group of analysts and political figures. I think that Ucore will soon be making some important announcements that will significantly impact America’s future self-sufficiency in heavy rare earths.

Expert Analysis
Michael Berry, Morning Notes (7/25/11)
"Ucore Rare Metals Inc. is undervalued at current levels. Though the stock's price has drifted with many other REE juniors in 2011, we think a very important fact here is overlooked: The company's Bokan Mountain project is the largest NI 43-101 HREE deposit in United States. When you look at the grades of dysprosium, terbium, yttrium, europium and neodymium at Bokan Mountain, you get a sense of why we think UCU is undervalued. The project economics are exceptionally strong based on current Free on Board pricing for the above REEs. The size of the resource at Bokan Mountain should grow as the Ucore's 12,000m drill program unfolds this year.
Infrastructure is excellent at the Bokan deposit. There is a pre-existing road network in the area and deep water (tidewater) port access to the deposit. Based on our research, this is another plus for the company as it is the only REE deposit in the world with such deepwater access. This access will reduce the capital costs of the mining project. The company' s immediate goal is to develop the Bokan Mountain resource to bankable feasibility by Q213 while seeking strategic partners where a vertical integration strategy can add value along the permanent magnet value chain. In the interim, an updated NI 43-101 preliminary economic assessment (PEA) is anticipated in Q112. Results from the current drill program plus the updated PEA should serve as catalysts going forward."
The Critical Metals Report Interview with Luisa Moreno (7/25/11)
Ucore Rare Metals Inc. is looking for technologies that will make the [Bokan Mountain] project cheaper, such as using chemical processing vessels made of more economic materials. . .the company is the best-known project right now on U.S. soil that may have an economic deposit with high percentage of heavy elements— of great national security importance—that are used in military applications. . .I suggest that Molycorp could potentially acquire UCU in Québec. Ucore is smaller and cheaper, but they offer a good amount of these elements to balance their total production.

The easiest fix is to take over Ucore…and promote the merged company’s HREE component as its own,” Hallgarten writes. “(Molycorp) certainly has the money to get Bokan Mountain moving swiftly to production thus stealing the thunder of other players who might have ambitions to produce HREE in the relatively near term.”
