AEX konnte bereits schon einige, richtig schicke Treffer vermelden. (http://www.appletonexploration.com/index.php/projects/manalo…

      Report @

Shiny results out of Africa for Appleton Exploration Inc.

      Quelle: http://www.allpennystocks.com/aps_ca/special_reports/042/Shi…

As the economic winds shifted once again in the early days of June, and as investors wondered what signals they should take seriously regarding this recession – its depth and its length – the market kept returning to the common theme of gold as one of the few places they could place their money. And more and more gold exploration companies kept coming out with fresh, significant news, not the least of which Vancouver-based Appleton Exploration Inc. (TSX-Venture:AEX).

This junior exploration company’s efforts these days are focused on the advanced Manalo gold project in the prolific Birimian Gold Belt of western Africa and on the internally developed grass roots Dora gold project now advanced to the drilling stage in the Spences Bridge Gold Belt of southern British Columbia.

AEX has a corporate objective of increasing shareholder value by “directing exploration dollars into the ground to advance and develop its quality mineral properties”, according to the company website.

In early June came news out of Africa (specifically, Mali) that this area was particularly rich in the shiny yellow metal. Assay results from Manalo showed 15 reverse circulation holes with selective coring all intersected gold mineralization. One such hole returned 36.4 g/t (ounces per ton) gold over one metre; another returned 2.55 g/t gold over 7.5 metres; still another, 5.03 g/t gold over 10 metres.

Most of this year’s drilling program has been to further evaluate the large Dialafara gold soil anomaly in Mali, which has previously produced drill intercepts such as 15.64 g/t gold across 16 metres, and 29.07 g/t gold across six metres..

      Hi Popeye,

Appleton is earning a 100% interest in the Manalo Gold Project, subject to a 2% Net Smelter Return (NSR) Royalty, from Delta Exploration Inc. ("Delta") a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rockgate Capital Corp. (RGT - TSX.V).

Appleton Exploration Inc. signed a Letter of Intent to earn a 100% interest, subject to a 2% Net Smelter Return (NSR) Royalty, from Delta Exploration Inc. (“Delta”) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rockgate Capital Corp. (RGT – TSX.V) in the Manalo Gold Project in the Republic of Mali, Africa in February 2009. The road accessible Manalo project lies within the Archean Birimian Greenstone Belt of western Africa and consists of three exploration permits totalling 150 square kilometres. The main Manalo permit totalling 75 square kilometres has just been renewed and the other two permits Block 1 and Block 2 are awaiting confirmation of renewal by the government of Mali. The project lies 100 kilometres southwest of Bamako, the capital, in southwestern Mali.

Dito.

..the Company has paid the initial cash payment of US$25,000 and has issued 500,000 units to Delta Exploration Inc. Each unit is comprised of one common share and one share purchase warrant entitling the holder to acquire one additional common share of Appleton at an exercise price of $0.27 per share, prior to April 1, 2011. The securities are subject to a four month hold until August 2, 2009.

The Company also reports that it has closed a non-brokered private placement of 10,010,654 units, priced at $0.07 per unit for gross proceeds of $700,746. Each unit is comprised of one common share and one share purchase warrant entitling the holder to acquire one additional common share of Appleton, at an exercise price of $0.10 per share, prior to April 1, 2010. Securities issued pursuant to the private placement are subject to a four month hold until August 2, 2009. Finders’ fees totalling $65,575 have been paid in conjunction with the private placement. Proceeds of the private placement will be used for general working capital and for acquisition and exploration expenditures on the Manalo Gold Project..

Restliche Besitzanteile von 35% sind quasi noch ausstehend:
Appleton may earn the remaining 35% interest by making a one time cash payment of CDN$1,500,000 to Delta. At Delta’s sole discretion, Delta may elect to receive the payment in the equivalent value of Appleton units. Appleton must also deliver an independent feasibility study or arrange for production financing prior to the 8th anniversary of TSX Venture Exchange acceptance.
Appleton also has the option to purchase one half of the NSR (1%) for CDN $1,000,000 within the first 12 months of production.

Kommentare aus den kandadichen Boards zu AEX.
      Quelle: http://www.stockhouse.com/Bullboards/SymbolList.aspx?s=AEX&t…

....for the share price going forward. The fact of the matter is regardless of the mistakes on the part of management with regard to the reporting of the original find we have a hole with 60oz per ton over one meter, a depth that an ambitious child could dig to in their sandbox ! At $60,000 revenue per metric ton and with the low minig cost prevelent in Mali you dont need a lot of rock to justify a mine. Is this find a finger of a vaster vein, does it widen out, if so how wide, these are the questions to be answered this fall. 100 tons of this find results in 6 million in revenues, that is not a lot of rock. There are exciting days and months ahead, the current market cap at 6 million is a joke. side. Time to accumulate, if this window remains open, it wont be for long..

Accumulating now, very comfortable at thses levels. No one can deny this vein is incredibly promising with bonanza grades if it grows while maintianing grades we are into some very serious numbers. Looking forward to trading over the next week leading up to confirmation of the grades. Few uninformed dumping but mainly shorts IMO pushing around the SP at the moment. AEX will rocket on validation of previous. Contraction is healthy, average cost per share much higher than current SP. Looks good..

Rambler I've been called on my numbers before hence I'm callingyours. 6 oz per ton at 3 feet= correct, but hey 15000 net per ton? At 940 an ounce based on the central high grade gives me 5640 gross. Yes ACTUAL minning costs will be low but there is also startup which should be factored in. Like I said before if you think that stockhouse posters actually have the capability to swing a stock then you are mis-informed. For the most part we are a small fish swimming in the ocean. The few 100K of shares that we trade, or say we trade, don't amount to a pinch of coon sh!!!!t in the financial world. The bad press has effected this stock - no doubt. But the numbers are still extraordinary. Back in the day they used to base mining core samples in ounces per ton. Now they post in grams. 31g to troy. Every Explo is just that, a listed CO with mineral rights. They have struck big but lost confidence due to pre-mature e-speculation. I 2 believe ther is a large play here laying in the grass. Most of us do our own DD and don't get caught up in pumpers and bashers. But hey you all like numbers so here if a CO has 30mill of shares out and we, as a whole in SH BB trade 300,000 shares a day, then we represent 1% of the CO. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

      + Insiderkauf
+ Start der 2. Explorationsphase in wenigen Tagen

Bin jedenfalls schon mal gespannt!

August 11, 2009 - Vancouver, British Columbia. Appleton Exploration Inc. (AEX - TSX.V) provides a summary of Phase 1 Spring 2009 drilling program on the Manalo Gold Project in the Republic of Mali, West Africa, complete with screen metallic check assays. The Phase 1 program comprising 18 reverse circulation (RC) drill holes totalling 1800 metres, 7 diamond core tails (cored from the bottom of selected RC holes) totalling 385 metres, and 95 aircore drill holes totaling 4615 metres targeted gold-bearing quartz veins within Birimian sediments, which host several deposits including the Sadiola, Yatela and Morila gold mines. Initial evaluation of the northern and southern segments of the 3 kilometre by 0.5 kilometre Dialafara gold soil anomaly was the primary focus of the Phase 1 program.

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 37.972.689 von finanzmarc am 14.09.09 11:09:24QA/QC protocols of standards, duplicates and blanks were incorporated in the sampling program. Assaying was completed by ALS Chemex in Bamako, Mali. All samples were assayed for gold using a 30 gram fire assay (FA) technique with an atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) finish or gravimetric finish. A suite of "mineralized" samples were re-analyzed using a screen metallics gold, double minus technique. The screen size used in the metallic procedure is 150 mesh (100 microns). The 3 samples that were shipped to ALS North Vancouver and G&T Metallurgical Services followed proper chains of custody. The check assays by ALS North Vancouver facility followed the same screen metallic technique.
The Company is encouraged by the presence of gold, the widths and the degree of continuity in the northern and southern segments and will follow up with Phase 2 drilling in fall 2009. The Company will also focus on the other large soil anomalies on the permit, in particularly, the Sirabada target, which demonstrates extreme hydrothermal alteration and the most extensive artisanal workings on the permit.Appleton President Tim Henneberry states "We have made great progress on Manalo's evaluation in terms of new significant gold intercepts and geological understanding from our spring 2009 drill program. We plan to immediately mobilize at the conclusion of the rainy season to follow up on the exciting results from the Dialafara anomalies. Drilling is expected to commence in late September to early October once it is feasible to move the drill rig over the permit."

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 37.972.689 von finanzmarc am 14.09.09 11:09:24The 2009 drill program was aimed at improving the geological context, assessing the broad potential of this large (300 to 500m wide) gold anomaly and determining grade and thickness continuity, at least locally within the trend.
The Company conducted 5 reconnaissance level fences of angled aircore drill holes to broadly, but systematically test the Dialafara South Segment over a strike length of 1.5km. Fifty four angled holes totaling 3227 metres were completed, each with an average depth of 60 metres. The 5 reconnaissance lines intersected multiple northwest trending corridors of quartz veining. New mineralizing controls have been identified. Most quartz veining is focused within 50 metres either side of the key geological contact between a sandstone/conglomerate and siltstone unit. The program provides important data to aid correlations between intercepts from previous drilling and artisanal workings and will significantly focus future drilling. [Much of the contact area is untested by drilling. Highlights include: AC-09-93 on Transect 5 with 1.50 gpt Au across 8.0 metres, AC-09-61 on Transect 2 intersecting 7.53 gpt Au over 1 metre and AC-09-75 on Transect 4 intersecting 0.72 gpt Au over 3 metres.

Nur gucken - nicht kaufen! Wallis Drilling remains under the ownership and management of Jamie and Graeme Wallis. :(
