GALENA scheint wieder aufzuwachen. Laut dem neuesten MDA Report auf Sedar plant man eine Testproduktion in Mexico:

Drilling and Geochem
The Company has drilled two holes to cut the structures perpendicularly. All holes crossed structures with wider intersections than
the superficial showing. Drilling was done by Worldwide Drilling, a USA drilling company out of Torreón, Mexico.

Drilling cores
are bowed, labeled and stored in an orderly manner. Cores have been cut and sent off to assay through a certified lab in Vancouver.
Samples were prepared in Hermosillo, Mexico by a TSX certified lab for sample preparation. The Company has also begun the soil
sampling as per Mr. Parent’s technical report. The project has moved into a direct exploration program. The Company has
approved a tunnel called "La Candelaria" that will intercept the structure 50 meters below the San Francisco Mine. The Candelaria
Tunnel will be around 60 meters to the structure intercept. Currently all exploration permits are in place. Other permits, such as
explosives, are in their final approval process.
Current Work
La Suerte tunnel has now reached the old San Francisco Mine coordinates, 35 meters below the mine. The Company is drifting a
crosscut and will be doing a countershaft to quantify resources between the La Suerte and San Francisco Mines.
A portable plant has been designed and is under construction.
The plant will have a gravimetrical process initially, due to the free gold content of the mine mineral. Testing has shown liberation
that makes this process viable with acceptable gold recoveries. The process plant will consist of a ball mill, gravimetrical processor,
genset, and accessory equipment. All major components have been acquired. Testing of the plant will take place in the near term.

Mineral from the mine is being transported to a stockpile at the future plant location four kilometres from the mine. Exploration
work was being supervised by Luc Rioux, P. Geo., designated Qualified Person for the Company.

PINETREE CAPITAL LTD. ACQUIRES SECURITIES OF GALENA CAPITAL CORP.

Pinetree Capital Ltd. acquired, on Nov. 15, 2009, ownership of three million common shares of Galena Capital Corp., which represents approximately 5.3 per cent of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Galena as of Nov. 15, 2009.

As a result of this transaction, Pinetree and its joint actors collectively held, as at Nov. 15, 2009, a total of 5.24 million common shares of Galena, including the common shares and rights to acquire an additional 1,525,000 common shares of Galena upon exercise of certain convertible securities. Of these totals, Pinetree owns 4.39 million common shares, including the common shares and the 1,125,000 of the convertible securities directly.


In the event that the convertible securities are fully exercised, the holdings of Pinetree and its joint actors represents a total of 6,765,000 common shares of Galena, or approximately 11.6 per cent of all issued and outstanding common shares as at Nov. 15, 2009, calculated on a partially diluted basis assuming the exercise of the convertible securities only.

In the event that the Pinetree convertible securities are fully exercised, the direct holdings of Pinetree represents a total of 5,515,000 common shares of Galena, or approximately 9.5 per cent of all issued and outstanding common shares as at Nov. 15, 2009, calculated on a partially diluted basis assuming the exercise of the Pinetree convertible securities only.

John Seaman will become the chief executive officer (CEO) of Galena Capital Corp., effective today, Dec. 10, 2009.

Mr. Seaman was the chief financial officer of Wolfden Resources Inc. from Oct. 1, 2002, until it was acquired by Zinifex Ltd. in 2007. He was controller for Apex Investigation & Security Inc. (a private security firm) since 1992, and has been the president since January, 2008.

Mr. Seaman has served as chief financial officer and director of Premier Gold Mines Ltd. (Toronto Stock Exchange symbol: PG) since May, 2008; additionally, he serves as the chief financial officer for Pediment Exploration Ltd.

Mr. Seaman received a bachelor of education degree from Lakehead University in April, 1993, and a bachelor of science degree in April, 1990. Mr. Seaman has been a director of Galena Capital since January, 2008.

Management is currently reassessing its current property portfolio, while taking the time to consider new opportunities in all sectors. NEWS RELEASE GALENA CAPITAL CORP. ANNOUNCES $2,250,000 FINANCING

Galena Capital Corp. intends to carry out a non-brokered private placement consisting of up to 45 million units at a price of five cents each for total gross proceeds of up to $2.25-million.

Each unit will consist of one common share and one-half of one transferable common share purchase warrant. Each whole unit warrant will entitle the holder to subscribe for one additional common share at a price of 15 cents for a period of two years from the date of closing, subject to the company's right to accelerate the term of the warrant if the volume-weighted average trading price of the company's common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange exceeds 30 cents for 10 consecutive trading days at any time after four months following the closing of the private placement.

Directors, officers and insiders of the company intend on participating in the private placement.


The company may pay a finder's fee in cash of up to 7 per cent of the gross proceeds.

With the proceeds of this financing, the company intends to focus on cash flow opportunities in the oil and gas sector. The company still has three gold exploration projects in Mexico, being the Maureen, Mercedes and Judith projects. There are no scheduled work programs for these properties; however, exploration activities near the town of Tepic, where the Maureen project is located, have yielded promising results and management may decide to undertake further work on that project.

The closing of the private placement and the payment of any finder's fee are subject to the acceptance of the TSX-V.

ich fand die "Mr. Victor Barcot - Meldung" ja schon recht gut. Gute (erfolgreiche) menschen, machen gute sachen. sein lebenslauf klingt nicht nur nach viel verschiedener erfahrung, sondern auch nach langen guten freunden und vielen alten bekannten.

...vielleicht helfen ihm diese ja bei den 45 Mio shares

- Wenn das Szenario eintrifft, das die CPM Group in ihrem aktuellen Goldjahrbuch zeichnet, könnte der Goldpreis über einen langen Zeitraum gewaltige Unterstützung erhalten - und volatiler werden.

Die Analysten des Research-Hauses, das sich unter anderem auf den Rohstoffmarkt spezialisiert hat, erwarten, dass der gewaltiger globaler Umbruch in der Zusammensetzung der Investment-Portfolios weiter geht. Das geht aus dem jüngst veröffentlichten Gold-Jahrbuch der Experten hervor. Profiteur in diesem Fall ist der Goldpreis - und der soll es nach Meinung der CPM Group noch eine ganze Zeit lang bleiben.

Hinter dieser Prognose der CPM Group steckt kein kurzfristiger Modetrend, dem Investoren - wie sonst so gerne - nachlaufen. Es sind viel mehr die Erfahrungen der vergangenen Jahre, geprägt unter anderem vom Platzen der Dotcom-Blase sowie dem Desaster am US-Immobilienmarkt und seinen immensen Folgen für die Wirtschaft und Finanzsysteme, die die vergangenen Monate geprägt haben. Die Erfahrungen, die aktuell durch die Schuldenkrise Griechenlands weiter genährt werden, führen zur Umschichtung gewaltiger Summen in den Portfolios der Großanleger. Die Devise heißt: Raus aus Papierwerten wie Anleihen oder Aktien, rein in reale Werte wie Gold. Das Metall profitiert heute wie seit jeher von seinem Image als wertbeständige "Krisenwährung".

Angesichts der Summen, die global von Institutionellen Investoren, Zentralbanken oder Fonds bewegt werden, reichen schon kleine prozentuale Verschiebungen in der Asset Allocation, um auf Einzelmärkten gewaltige Nachfrageschübe auszulösen. So ist es nur auf den ersten Blick unspektakulär, dass CPM in den kommenden Jahren einen Anstieg des Goldanteils an den global gehaltenen Assets auf 1 Prozent oder sogar 2 Prozent erwartet. Tatsächlich bedeutete dies, dass Investoren in den kommenden Jahren hunderte Millionen von Goldunzen in die Tresore packen würden und dass eine entsprechende zusätzliche Nachfrage entstehen wird.

CPM erwartet, dass Investoren 2010 rund 39,8 Millionen Unzen Gold erwerben werden, fast 3 Millionen mehr als im vergangenen Jahr. Der Produktionsanstieg der Goldminen soll gerade einmal die Hälfte des Anstiegs decken, so die Prognose der Experten: Eine Förderung von 57,1 Millionen Unzen Gold wird erwartet, etwa 55,6 Millionen Unzen waren es im vergangenen Jahr.

Diese Zahlen muss man zudem noch in ein Gesamtbild einordnen. Experten prognostizieren einen Anstieg der Goldnachfrage nicht nur von Seiten der Finanzinvestoren, die ihre Portfolios umschichten. Der wachsende Wohlstand in Boomländern wie China und Indien lasse auch von dort die Goldnachfrage wachsen. Es wird zum Beispiel erwartet, dass China die Goldimporte deutlich aufstocken muss. Hinzu kommt der erwartete wirtschaftliche Aufschwung. Das bringe zusätzliche Nachfrage in den Markt. Dass eine Ausweitung der Minenproduktion oder das Recycling von "Altgold" diesen Nachfrageschub bedienen kann, glaube niemand ernsthaft. Erst recht nicht vor dem Hintergrund, dass unter anderem aufgrund der Finanzmarktkrise und der damit einher gehenden Probleme bei Projektfinanzierungen die Explorationsinvestitionen sinken sollen.

Was dies für den Goldpreis bedeuten kann, leuchtet schnell ein. Die auseinander klaffende Schere von Angebot und Nachfrage ist immer der beste Grund, an steigende Notierungen zu glauben. Da hier ein langfristiger Trend dahinter steckt, wenn die Prognosen der CPM Group und anderer Marktexperten zutreffen, wirkt das Argument umso schwerer. Für Investoren wird es aber nicht unbedingt einfacher, dafür aber nervenaufreibender. Bei CPM rechnen man aufgrund der Verschiebungen in den Portfolios der Großanleger, die sich bereits seit Jahren verstärkt dem Goldinvestment widmen und nun Bestände aus Gründen der Diversifikation mit hohen Gewinnen teilweise wieder abbauen, mit einer verstärkten Volatilität beim Goldpreis.

(FYI) (the "Company" or "Galena"), a Vancouver based company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange"), is pleased to announce that it has completed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement consisting of 24,565,000 units at a price of $0.05 each for aggregate gross proceeds of $1,228,250.

The Company has paid a cash finder's fees in the amount of $67,078.

Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one transferable common share purchase warrant. Leider homepage von Galena seit langen funkzioniert nicht und ich kann nicht Fundamental research hier machen. Hat hier jemand das gemacht? Drilling results? Was kommt in diesem Jahr noch? Wie gut sind properties? Wie weit die sind gekommen mit Finanzen? Wieviel Cash?

Ich weiss nur, dass hier viele insider Kaufe waren und auch Pinetree hat eingestiegen. Was pinetree betrifft dann das ist wohl weil Ceo Arni Johannson ist board director von Mega Uranium. Ceo von Mega Uranium ist ceo von Pinetree. Ich weiss daher nicht wieviel fundamental begrundet einstieg von pinetree ist. Auserdem halte ich auch Mega Uranium. Wenn uranium zukunft hat dann ist das ein gutes Investment.

Ich habe schon gelesen. Es hat mir gefallen. Bin @0.04 dabei. Obwohl es ist moglich, dass hier eine lange phase ohne news kommt, weil team hat von gold mogliche Weise weggetreten und jetzt suchen etwas Interesantes in Oil und Gas Sektor. 2M $ PP von insiders gefaellt mir ganz gut. Market Cap ist vergleicherweise nur 2 mal so gross. Also das ist eine menge Geld fuer diese Company. Deschalb Market Cap kann nicht mehr deutlich verringern. Management team ist auch sehr Erfahren und profesionell. Also ich bin voll dabei. Alles in allem Tief 0.04 glaube ich haben wir schon erreicht. Bid @0.04 mit etwa 1M shares ist schon eindrucksvoll und ich glaube nicht, dass jemand hier das Bid leeren kann. Macht auch kein Sinn. Also von hier ab nur UPPPPP.

Galena Capital Corp. Closes Purchase and Sale Agreement on Matagorda Bay roject in the Gulf of Mexico

Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA (March 7, 2011) – Galena Capital Corp. (TSX.V: FYI), (the “Company”), is pleased to announce that it has entered into a definitive Participation Agreement with Arbol Energy (“Arbol”), a private Houston based oil and gas company, governing Arbol’s Matagorda Bay, Texas Prospect.

The Participation Agreement provides Galena with a 23% Working Interest (23% Working Interest Before Payout, 17.25% Working Interest After Payout) in the 1280 acres covering Texas State Blocks 127, the south half of Block 150 and the north half of Block 151, and includes 3 existing well bores, an existing 7
mile pipeline to shore and an onshore oil/gas handling facility.

Under the terms of the Participation Agreement, Galena will pay 23% of lease acquisition, geological and geophysical costs ($650,000 gross, or $150,000 net to Galena) and 23% of any costs associated with recompletion of the existing well bores.

A key component of this acquisition is the existence of a fully drilled, cored, logged, cased and shut‐in well bore (the 127‐1) in Block 127. The 127‐1 well has multiple pay zones indicated on logs and cores and is expected to be initially completed in the Bol Mex (8560 ‐ 8710' depth) section of the Lower Frio.Internal analysis of the logs and cores of the Bol Mex zone indicate approximately 115 feet of expected oil pay. The reservoir is estimated to cover a minimum of 350 acres with potential up to 750 acres.

Completion planning has already begun with Operating Partner South Bay Resources, and on‐site operations are expected to commence within the next 2 months.

Costs associated with the re‐entry, perforation and testing of the 127‐1 well are expected to be approximately $1,200,000 (approximately $276,000 net to Galena).

An additional 200 plus feet of apparent net pay are evident in the logs and cores, and upon successful completion of the Bol Mex interval the company will target these additional zones for future completions.

Arni Johannson, Chairman states “This acquisition of a low cost, low risk, asset provides an ideal profile for Galena as we move into the Oil and Gas sector”. Galena is moving its strategic focus from strictly mining into hydro carbons. The Matagorda bay project is complementary to our proposed bitumen project which is currently in the due diligence phase.

Oil Sands Recovery prospect:
