Snip North, Phiz, Bug und Waratah.
Das ist aber alles irgendwie Durchschnitt und nicht wirklich interessant.
Obwohl zu Snip North ein NI 43-101 existiert:

Im Juni 2009 wurde im Yukon territory ein Gebiet erworben ca. 15 km entfernt von Underworld Resources dürfte ein Begriff sein.

Was hier tatsächlich an Substanz dahinter steckt, müssen Bohrungen erst noch nachweisen.
Aber: aufgrund der Kursentwicklung, der Volumina und damit einhergehend vor allem der Insiderkäufe, dürfte Newcastle Minerals einen area-play allemal Wert sein.
Wenn man weiß, auf was man sich einläßt.

Vielleicht, hätte wäre wenn, der Kurs steigt, zu 0,15 CAN$.

Oder wird ein JV-Partner gefunden ?

Noch hält sich die Aktienzahl für einen Explorer im Rahmen.

Newcastle Options Additional Pickle Lake Properties

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jan 15, 2010 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network) --

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:NCM) is pleased to announce that it has, subject to regulatory acceptance, negotiated an option to purchase a 100% interest in five mineral claims covering approximately 1,960 acres in Ontario's Dona Lake Township.

The property is located in the Pickle Lake Greenstone Belt, part of the prolific Uchi Geological Subprovince having historically produced over 30 million ounces of gold. The claims are adjacent to PC Gold's (TSX:PKL) Pickle Crow property and are on strike to the south-west.

This newly acquired property adjoins Newcastle's previously-optioned claims announced January 12. Newcastle's President, Michael Romanik, stated "We are pleased to have added to our land position in the Pickle Lake area. PC Gold Inc. announced on January 7 that they plan to add a third drilling rig to their work program, so we expect to see steady news flow from the area over the next few months."

To exercise its option and acquire a 100% interest in the property, Newcastle must pay the optionor, Mr. Perry English, a total of $105,000 and issue a total of 250,000 shares in stages over four years and grant the optionor a 2% net smelter returns royalty. Newcastle may repurchase one-half of the net smelter returns royalty for $1,000,000.

For all interested, I spoke with the President of NCM today and thought I\'d share a bit of our conversation.
I had emailed the company last week regarding some of the questions I had also posted on this board, and was surprised today to actually have the President, Michael Romanik, give me a call back instead of just emailing me back. Always a good sign in my books when someone from a company can do that.
Anyway some of the things we talked about (since he spoke with me regarding the following points, I don\'t think there\'s anything to hide here):
- the Company has recently changed strategy from targeting just the BC area but moving to more exciting areas/properties such as the West Timmins district and Pickle Lake property (obvious from the recent NR\'s)
- the Company plans to build a larger land package in the Pickle Lake area property, and he said to expect another 2-3 NR\'s relating to this over the next 5-6 weeks. Once that is done, he is planning to put up a map highlighting the impressive land package in that area. Drilling in that area is currently ongoing so news regarding that will also start coming out
- regarding the West Timmins package, well he just gave a good overview of the land package and mentioned that Melkior Resources has just started drilling this week, and they\'re to the West(?) of us so results there will generate even more interest in the area
- some warrants recently got exercised, so there\'s about $400,000 in the bank right now, so no immediate need for financing, but maybe after a month or so financing might need to be done to move projects forward
- lot of interest in the company (from people in Toronto), as has been recently reflected in the share price
- lastly, I asked about the promotional aspect and getting the word out there about the host of properties and he mentioned that would happen once all the additional land packages had been done and so a proper presentation could then be given to the right people
That\'s all there is for now I guess. Again I am an investor, so while I know I\'ve only stated fact, there might be a bias, being an investor but overall I was very satisfied after speaking with the company, and look forward to them creating more investor value as time goes on. I\'d actually encourage anyone interested here to also give him a call as he seems to be a decent guy, very willing to answer questions and (thankfully) excited about the company\'s future prospects.

The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing an option letter agreement dated Dec. 15, 2009, between Newcastle Minerals Ltd. and Timmins Forest Products Ltd., whereby the company will acquire a 100-per-cent interest in nine property patents located approximately 21 kilometres southwest of Timmins, Ont.

Total consideration consists of $325,000 in cash payments and up to 4.65 million shares of the company as follows:

* Upon closing, $50,000 cash and 250,000 shares;
* Six months from closing, $50,000 cash;
* One year from closing, $50,000 cash and 500,000 shares;
* Two years from closing, $75,000 cash and one million shares;
* Three years from closing, $100,000 cash and two million shares.

Further to the above, if a qualified person engaged by the company issues a technical report expressing an opinion that the property contains a proven mineral reserve and probably mineral reserve totalling not less than 200,000 ounces of gold, the company may issue up to an additional 900,000 shares.

Hallo,

fully diluted sind es aktuell gut 54.000.000 shares.

Ein pp wurde im Oktober geschlossen, in 2 Tranchen, zu insg. 400.000 $.
Laut MD&A 30.Sept.09 waren noch ca. 34.000 $ in der Kasse,
d.h. im Oktober waren dann gute 430.000 $ in der Kasse.

Davon wurde der Erwerb diverser properties gezahlt. Kannst Du z.B auf sedar einsehen. Da diese Zahlungen immer über mehrere Jahre aufgeteilt werden, ist schwer zu sagen, wieviel seit Oktober dafür aufgewendet werden mußte.
Ich würde SCHÄTZEN ca. 150.000 $.
Außerdem sind zu zahlen die geophysical surveys im Yukon-Gebiet und in West Timmins. Da muß ich kostentechnisch passen ...
Und natürlich die sog. laufenden Aufwendungen (Gehälter, Mieten, ...).

Grob GESCHÄTZT dürften zwischen 150.000 und 200.000 $ übrig sein.
Vor Bohrbeginn in West Timmins wird also ein weiteres pp nötig sein, so daß vielleicht noch einmal 5.000.000 shares ausgegeben werden müssen.

Bis zu den drill results sollten also knappe 60.000.000 shares ausgegeben sein.

Das ist nicht gut, aber auch nicht schlecht. Eine glatte "3", würde ich sagen.

In Anbetracht der West-Timmins-property - 60 Mio explosives ... hoffentlich

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. has staked four additional mineral claims adjoining its Pickle Lake gold prospect in northwestern Ontario, adding 144 hectares to its 7,400-hectare package of claims.

The expanded Pickle Lake property is located in the Pickle Lake greenstone belt and is sandwiched between PC Gold Inc.'s claims to the south and the past-producing Central Patricia mine No. 2 to the north. PC Gold announced March 23 (see news in Stockwatch) that it intersected 43.28 grams of gold per tonne over 13.13 metres in drilling on its Pickle Crow gold mine property. PC Gold's assays are among the best results to come from Northwestern Ontario this year.

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. has, subject to regulatory acceptance, negotiated an option to purchase a 100-per-cent interest in 26 mineral claims covering approximately 15,400 acres in the townships of Potier and Neville in the Porcupine mining district of Ontario.

The claims are located three kilometres north of Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc.'s (TSXV:TRR) Chester Project. Trelawney recently reported intersecting 107.11 metres of 8.20 grams per tonne of gold, including 313.55 grams per tonne gold over 2.56 metres, on the Chester Project.

The claims straddle the contact between mafic volcanics and a suite of diorite to granodiorite intrusive rocks, and the contact trends roughly east-west across the more southerly parts of both Potier and Neville Townships. A regional lake sediment survey conducted by the Ontario Geological Survey (published as Open File Report 6166) and a second study entitled "Central Swaze Study Area" confirms that there are at least two separate and coinciding lake sediment gold, silver and base metal anomalies defined in the southwest part of Potier Township on the western part of the claims. The lake sediment gold anomalies range from seven to nine parts per billion and greater than or equal to nine parts per billion.

NEWCASTLE COMPLETES GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY ON ITS CARSCALLEN PROJECT

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. has received the data from its recently completed geophysical survey of its 120-hectare Carscallen project, located 21 kilometres southwest of Timmins, Ont. The property is surrounded by Lake Shore Gold Corp.'s Timmins West gold mine complex, and lies east of Melkior Resources Inc.'s Carscallen property, where a drill program was commenced on Jan. 18.

Preliminary data indicate the presence of several strong, well-defined induced-polarization and linear magnetic anomalies. Newcastle's geologists are currently interpreting the data and will provide a thorough analysis in due course.

Not only has NCM gone up significantly on its highest ever volume since this stock came into existence (also listed #1 on the Canadian exchanges today), but it is also the most posted to message board on STOCKHOUSE over the last two days.

Good to see so many eyes following the story. If anything positive comes out of this company, the reaction will likely be upward, in the quick and violent variety. I hope all you guys waiting for lower prices don't wait too long and get caught buying at higher prices than you hoped to buy.

Personally, I'm pretty comfortable just holding and letting the stock and management do their thing.

When do you sell. Watch for the insiders selling, if the insiders are selling for a profit then you should do the same. If the insiders are selling to put money into a private placement then in my opinion you should be buying. If they have enough confidence that they are willing to take the PROFITS they made and plow it back into the company it usually means we are going much higher. Should we be selling now?

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: NCM) is pleased to announce that research by MPH Consulting Limited, in connection with the preparation of its National Instrument 43-101-compliant technical report, indicates that a portion of the historical production from the old Central Patricia Mine and, more importantly, its downward and eastern projections, lie inside Newcastle's Pickle Lake property.

A 1949 mine document indicates that the westernmost edge of the A-34 stope on the 3,400-foot level is approximately 110 feet inside historical claims PA-81 and PA-88, which are now part of Newcastle's Pickle Lake PA-3002046 claim. The A-Zone stopes below A-34 on the 3,550-, 3,700-, 3,850- and 4,000-foot levels are progressively farther inside Newcastle's boundary.

Production between the 3,250- and 3,400-foot levels was from three sections - the A-34, B-34 and U-34 stopes - with all of the A-34 stope being within Newcastle's Pickle Lake property and the others on adjoining Central Patricia patented claims not controlled by Newcastle.

MPH Consulting estimates that half of the 3,400-foot level tonnage and recovered gold is from Newcastle's Pickle Lake property. All of the production from the lower levels is from the A-Zone and the last zone discovered, the W-Zone, on the 4,000-foot level. All of this production is from well-inside Newcastle's boundary.

Central Patricia Gold Mines Limited commenced production in May 1934 and ceased operation in December 1951. During this period, the mine reportedly produced more than 608,000 ounces of gold and 58,000 ounces of silver from approximately 1.7 million tons of ore hoisted. MPH Consulting estimates that approximately 100,000 tons of this ore was extracted from Newcastle's Pickle Lake property at an average recovered grade of 0.27 ounces of gold per ton.

Newcastle's President, Michael Romanik, said, "We believe that this data indicates a highly prospective section below and to the east of the historical mine workings. We are excited to begin planning our exploration work to test the potential of this portion of our Pickle Lake property."

TIMMINS GOLD CORP.: GOLD MINERALIZATION EXTENDED 500 METERS TO SOUTHWEST OF SAN FRANCISCO PIT

The continuing drill program at Timmins Gold Corp.'s 100-per-cent-owned San Francisco gold mine continues to expand the known boundaries of a 1.2-kilometre-wide major northwest-southeast-trending gold-hosting structure outside of the confines of the currently planned pit limits. During the months of March and April a total of 17,007 metres of RC and RAB drilling were drilled at the mine. One of the highlights of the assays received during the last two months is the intercept of 13.71 metres of 10.28 grams per tonne gold approximately 50 metres to the south of the San Francisco pit. The other highlight is the intercept of 21 metres of 1.11 g/t gold in a new zone 500 metres to the southwest of the currently defined pit limits in an area which corresponds with the projection to the southeast of a mineral trend of a previously mined satellite pit called La Chicharra which is located two kilometres to the west of the San Francisco pit.

Additional holes drilled in the area 50 metres to the south of the San Francisco pit also intercepted gold mineralization. Hole TF-491 intersected 3.04 metres of 1.25 g/t gold at 42.72 metres and 22.82 metres of 1.04 g/t gold at 51.81 metres. Hole TF-492 intersected 15.24 metres of 0.87 g/t gold at 39.62 metres, 13.71 metres of 1.20 g/t gold at 57.91 metres, 3.04 m of 3.18 g/t gold at 77.72 metres and the mineralization is still open at the bottom of the hole. The 500 m step-out confirms that the major mineralized structure has a known width of approximately 1.2 kilometres. This structural zone presents high-priority exploration targets which will be further explored by the continuing drill program. The purpose of the continuing drill program, which consists of a total of 50,000 metres of reverse circulation and 20,000 metres of RAB drilling, is to confirm whether in-pit mineralization continues along the strike of this major gold-hosting structure outside of the confines of the currently planned pit limits. Pickle Lake Exploration

MPH Consulting Limited has completed a National Instrument 43-101-compliant geological report identifying several high-priority exploration targets on Newcastle's Pickle Lake mineral properties. The geological report will be available soon from SEDAR.

Newcastle is now developing its exploration plans for the area and expects to engage contractors within the next several days to carry out the work.

Carscallen Drilling Program

SGX Resources Inc. has finished drilling three holes to test anomalous soil samples on Newcastle's Carscallen property located southwest of Timmins, Ontario. The drill core is currently being logged and will be sent to a non-accredited lab for rapid assay testing. Core yielding promising results will be forwarded to an accredited lab for comprehensive analysis. Two holes drilled by Newcastle earlier this year and assayed by a non-accredited lab did not encounter any significant gold mineralization.

Swayze Greenstone Belt Properties

Newcastle's Swayze Greenstone Belt project comprises three non-contiguous claims blocks totalling approximately 16,000 acres located in Chester Township, Benneweis Township, Neville Township and Potier Township in northern Ontario.

The Chester Township block is a single 120-acre claim adjoining Augen Gold Corp.'s property to the west and Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc.'s property to the east. A geophysical survey was recently completed by Ranger Exploration Ltd. and the results are being interpreted by Newcastle's geologists.

The Benneweis Township block consists of three claims totaling about 1,400 acres surrounded by Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc.'s property. Line cutting and a geophysical survey was completed on the property in early July and the results are currently being interpreted.

The North Swayze claim group totals approximately 15,400 acres in Neville and Potier Townships and adjoins Augen Gold Corp.'s claims to the north. Newcastle is reviewing the data from past exploration and intends to develop an exploration program for this large block of claims.

Divestiture of Non-Core Assets

Over the past several weeks, Newcastle has sold its non-core properties in northwestern British Columbia and Yukon Territory. These sales yielded 1.2 million shares of First Lithium Resources Inc., 2.1 million Skyline Gold Corporation shares and, at Newcastle's option, either $400,000 cash or another 1.4 million Skyline Gold Corporation shares in June 2011.

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:NCM) is pleased to announce that it is commencing exploration of its 10,000-hectare Pickle Lake Property in northwestern Ontario. The Company will focus on three main areas:

Central Patricia Mine Extension

The Central Patricia No. 1 Gold Mine operated from 1934 to 1949 and reportedly produced 621,000 ounces of gold from 1.7 million tons of ore for a recovered grade of 0.36 ounces of gold per ton.

The mineralization is hosted in iron formation, which contains stringers and discontinuous lenses of quartz with sulphides in both the quartz and iron formation. Both the quartz and sulphides are gold mineralized. The mineralized zones plunge to the east-southeast and are interpreted to move onto Newcastle's claims at a depth of approximately 1,250 metres below surface.

Newcastle is planning a program to test the possible extensions of iron formation-hosted gold zones that lie below the limits of the Central Patricia No. 1 Gold Mine workings on the Pickle Lake Property.

Southwest Powderhouse Zone

The Southwest Powderhouse Zone located on Newcastle's Pickle Lake Property comprises at least one six- to 15-metre thick iron formation and possibly several thinner units which were folded first into an anticline with a northeast axis and later re-folded into a domal structure by a cross fold with a north-northwest axis. Rock units, particularly the iron formation, underwent brittle deformation and silicification. Gold is associated with sulphide mineralization (pyrrhotite, pyrite, chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite) that accompanied silicification.

The Southwest Powderhouse Zone is approximately 137 metres long to a depth of 110 metres. The average intercept for 38 historical holes drilled by a previous operator to define the zone - which, while non-National Instrument 43-101 compliant, are considered indicative by management - was 7.54 grams of gold per tonne over an intercept length of 1.83 metres. Newcastle is planning further drilling to test this mineralization along strike and down dip to extend the known zones.

Vein 20 Extension

A series of gold-bearing quartz veins were mined historically at both the Central Patricia Mine and the nearby Pickle Crow Gold Mine, some of which are generally known to trend onto Newcastle's Pickle Lake Property.

PC Gold Inc. recently discovered its Vein 20 and drilled several holes - as close as 100 metres from Newcastle's property boundary - as PC Gold traced the mineralized vein to the southwest.

Newcastle's exploration program will test gold mineralization in this area and search for the extension of Vein 20 onto Newcastle's property.

Billiken Management Retained for Exploration

(TSX VENTURE:NCM) is pleased to announce that it has, subject to regulatory acceptance, negotiated an option to purchase a 90% interest in the Crowshore property, comprising eight property patents covering 129 hectares along the northeast extension of PC Gold Inc.'s Core Mine Trend near Pickle Lake, Ontario.

PC Gold's Core Mine Trend is host to the Pickle Crow Gold Mine, which consists of multiple past-producing zones mined via the No. 1, No. 3 and Albany shafts. The Pickle Crow Gold mine operated from 1935 until 1966, when it closed due to low gold prices. The Pickle Crow Gold Mine produced 1.47 million ounces of gold at a grade of 0.47 ounces per ton and 168,757 ounces of silver at a grade of 0.055 ounces per ton. While the PC Gold property does not have National Instrument 43-101-compliant resources reported, historical estimates range from a general resource inventory in place on mine closure (Coates and Anderson, 2008) of 140,000 tonnes averaging 11.31 grams of gold per tonne to a global resource calculation (Noramco, 1988) totaling 5,731,050 tonnes at 7.26 grams of gold per tonne. This is a historical resource not compliant with NI 43-101. The author did not review the methods of calculating this resource.

Historical exploration of the Crowshore patents indicates four gold-bearing zones. Drilling in 1938 traced the A Zone for about 122 metres and yielded gold assays as high as 0.74 ounces per ton. The B Zone was tested over a length of approximately 1,067 metres and returned values as high as 0.32 ounces per ton over 0.65 metres. Channel sampling of the C Zone in 1944 indicated the presence of a possible 46-metre long ore shoot with a mean width of 0.16 metres with an average gold content of 0.3 ounces per ton. Drilling of the D Zone in 1989 between the Albany shaft and the Crowshore shaft identified a series of narrow anastomosing quartz veins yielding up to 5.6 grams of gold per tonne over 1.89 metres, and on the 38-metre level, 58.83 metres of strike length averaging 8.57 grams of gold per tonne across an average width of 0.67 metres. These historical figures are quoted from various government sources, which present the data in this method. The author did not review the methods of calculating these figures.

In October 1945, Crowshore Patricia sunk a three-compartment shaft and had advanced it to a vertical depth of 175 meters by the following year. Crosscuts to the three zones were completed by the spring of 1947 with a total of 521 meters of crosscutting being performed. The Crowshore shaft is located 1,000 metres northeast of PC Gold's Albany shaft along the mine trend. A historical non-NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate of the Albany by Highland Crow Resources in 1985 lists 90,639 tons grading 0.32 ounces of gold per ton. This is a historical resource not compliant to NI 43-101. The author did not review the methods of calculating this resource.

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: NCM) is pleased to announce that it has initiated its exploration program on its Pickle Lake property in northwestern Ontario.

Billiken Management Services Inc. will immediately begin a high-resolution airborne mag and VLF survey of the property. Billiken will use a Heli-3 three-axis, helicopter-towed magnetic gradiometer and VLF-EM system, with data interpretation services provided by Scott Hogg and Associates Ltd. of Toronto, Ontario. The survey block is four kilometres by 20 kilometres, with flight lines at 75 metres oriented in a southwest-northeast direction. The airborne program will total an estimated 1,146 line kilometres. Billiken also expects to gather a significant amount of regional information, which should aid Newcastle in selecting drill targets and interpreting the structures on the Pickle Lake property against known mineralized structures in the area.

In addition to the airborne program, Newcastle has retained Cartwright Drilling Inc. of Newfoundland to carry out an estimated 1,500-metre diamond drilling program and a geologist has been assigned to manage the drill onsite.

Newcastle's goal for the drilling and airborne programs is to expand the known mineralization of the Southwest Powderhouse Zone in the southern claim group of the Pickle Lake property, and to search for extensions of, or relationships to, Vein No. 5, Vein No. 11, Vein No. 20 and the Riopelle Vein all located on PC Gold Inc.'s adjacent property.

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: NCM) is pleased to announce that drilling has commenced on its Pickle Lake Property in northwestern Ontario. The first hole targets the gold mineralization in the banded iron formation northeast of the Southwest Powerhouse Zone. Preliminary data from the airborne survey shows coincident VLF conductors overlapping the known iron formation. Drilling in the 1980s encountered significant gold mineralization, but was not followed up in any detail.

Preliminary results from the recently-flown high resolution mag and VLF airborne geophysical survey defined two VLF conductors that parallel the known gold-bearing Riopelle Vein and PC Gold Inc.'s recently discovered No. 20 Vein which have been extrapolated onto Newcastle's Pickle Lake Property. Data from this survey is being utilized to select drill collar locations that will follow up on these possible extensions.

Newcastle's president, Michael Romanik, said "We are very excited to reach the drilling stage of exploration. We have completed a lot of preliminary work in preparation for this stage to enhance the success of the program. A total of 23 samples, including a duplicate and blank, were cut and sent to Actlabs in Thunder Bay on a rushed basis. Preliminary assays are expected within 10 days.

First Lithium Resources Inc. has entered into an option agreement with Newcastle Minerals Ltd. to acquire up to a 75-per-cent interest in its Mollie River claims, approximately four kilometres from the western edge of Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc.'s Chester gold complex.

Trelawney's drill programs have consistently intersected long intervals of gold mineralization. These results have been reported in its news releases and include its Nov. 15, 2010, announcement in Stockwatch of the following intercepts:

* Hole E10-32 -- 47.50 metres of 1.02 grams per tonne (g/t) gold;
* Hole E10-33(i) -- 520.28 metres of 1.44 g/t gold (0.92 g/t cut) including 1.70 metres of 199.80 g/t gold;
* Hole E10-35 -- 12.00 metres of 8.00 g/t gold and 187.55 metres of 0.61 g/t gold.

In additional press releases this year, Trelawney reported intersections of 8.2 g/t Au over a 107.11-metre core length including 313.55 g/t over 2.56 metres and 137.00 metres of 5.33 g/t gold within a larger envelope of 274.60 metres of 2.99 g/t gold.

Newcastle's three Mollie River claims, comprising 37 units, total approximately 1,480 acres and are located in Benneweis township, Porcupine mining division, midway between Sudbury and Timmins, Ont. Each of the claims has excellent road access for exploration, including drill programs.

The Mollie River project was last drilled in 1971 by Texas Gulf Inc. as part of a base metal exploration program. Although no assays were reported, drill logs make reference to a number of structural zones with quartz-carbonate stringers and "above average" disseminated sulphides, including chalcopyrite within mafic and intermediate intrusions. The combination of mineralized and altered structures indicates the gold potential of this area has been overlooked and should be re-evaluated. Preliminary exploration work, including IP geophysical surveys and an interpretation report based on these surveys, has been completed by Newcastle.

Subsequent to a review of integrated property geology, historic drill data and new IP results First Lithium has identified numerous drill targets. A drill team has been contracted and the program will likely commence within days of TSX Venture Exchange approval.

To maintain the option in good standing and to earn a 75-per-cent interest in the property, the company shall make cash payments, issue common shares to Newcastle and incur exploration expenditures as follows:

1. Pay $15,000 and issue 500,000 common shares in the capital of the company within five business days of the company receiving exchange approval of the transaction contemplated by the agreement;
2. Issue 500,000 common shares by the first anniversary of exchange approval of the transaction;
3. Issue 750,000 common shares by the second anniversary of exchange approval of the transaction;
4. Incur exploration expenditures of a total of $1-million on the property as follows:
1. $250,000 by the first anniversary of exchange approval;
2. $250,000 by the second anniversary of exchange approval;
3. $500,000 by the third anniversary of exchange approval.

(Note: After meeting the requirements of (1), (2) and (4) a and b above, the company will have earned a 60-per-cent interest in the property.)

The property is subject to a 3-per-cent net smelter returns royalty (NSR) to a third party, one-third of which can be bought back for $1-million.

The contents of this release have been reviewed and approved by Mark Fedikow, PEng, PGeo, CPG, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Also quasi ein property hin- und hergeschiebe.
First Lithium ist nun wirklich nicht das, was man einen starken jv-partner nennen kann. Finanziell genauso stark oder schwach wie NCM.
Diese Art von jv gefallen mir nicht.
Und dann soll First Lithium nur 1 Mio innerhalb von 3 Jahren investieren müssen.
Ist mir für eine property der (vermeintlichen) Qualität von Mollie River einfach zu wenig.
Ich hoffe nur, daß das gebohre auf Pickle Lake jetzt was bringt.
Sonst sehe ich für NCM auf Sicht kein Potential.
Aber wer weiß, vielleicht bringt uns ja Pickle Lake in neue Sphären.

Allerdings muß ich Dir zugute halten, daß in Deiner Quelle bezüglich des CFO von First Lithium ein anderer Name genannt wird als in meiner Quelle. Beide wohlgemerkt auf der First Lithium homepage. Wäre eine Aktualisierung mal nicht schlecht ...
Nach meinem Kenntnissstand ist allerdings Michael Romanik der AKTUELLE CFO.

FIRST LITHIUM COMMENCES DRILLING NEAR TRELAWNEY

First Lithium Resources Inc. has mobilized a drill rig (NQ) to the newly optioned Mollie River property, and a minimum six-hole, 1,200-metre program is set to commence today. The company is prepared and capitalized to expand on the designed program if it is deemed warranted.

The property is located approximately 75 kilometres south-southwest of Timmins, Ont., approximately four kilometres from the western edge of Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc.'s Chester gold complex.

The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for expedited filing documentation of the option agreement dated Nov. 19, 2010, between the company and Newcastle Minerals Ltd., whereby the company may acquire up to a 75-per-cent interest in the Mollie River claims.

President Craig Naughty stated, "We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to delve into what we feel to be an underexplored property in such close proximity to Trelawney, given the categorical success they have had in their drill programs to date."

The consideration payable to earn a 60-per-cent/75-per-cent interest in the property is $15,000 cash, one million/1.75 million common shares of the company and an exploration commitment of $500,000/$1-million.

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: NCM) has commenced drilling on its 120-hectare Carscallen project near Timmins, Ontario. Cartwright Drilling Inc. has been engaged to carry out the 3,000-metre drill program.

Upon review and interpretation of all the data accumulated by Newcastle, a significant through-going structure - the Bristol Fault Zone - indicated by ground magnetics was identified. This structure is believed to be highly prospective to host gold mineralization. Drilling in 2010 by Newcastle's former partner, SGX Resources Inc., did not test the Bristol Fault Zone, but successfully identified a parallel, strongly anomalous gold-bearing zone in drill holes NC-10-07 and NC-10-01 approximately 300 metres north of the interpreted Bristol Fault Zone.

Newcastle's 2011 exploration program will follow up on the recently discovered gold bearing trend, drill a series of 250-metre holes to test the numerous targets along the Bristol Fault Zone, and target untested IP anomalies defined in the previous exploration.

Newcastle Reports Drill Results on Mollie River Property

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:NCM) ispleased to announce that it has received results from First LithiumResources Inc.'s drill program on Newcastle's Mollie River Propertylocated approximately four kilometres east of Trelawney Mining andExploration Inc.'s Chester Gold Complex in northwestern Ontario. FirstLithium has an option to earn up to a 75% interest in Newcastle'sproperty.

First Lithium tested geophysical anomalies with 10 drill holestotalling approximately 2,000 metres. They reported intersecting a ninemetre zone between 185 metres and the bottom of Hole MR-10-10 at 194metres with gold values ranging from less than 5 ppb to 1,830 ppb (1.8grams per tonne), including single sample analyses of 346 ppb and 96ppb. This zone is encapsulated by a broader zone of elevated copper withconcentrations ranging from 92 ppm to 1510 ppm (0.15%). Mineralizationis present as one-millimetre blebs, wisps and fracture fillings ofpyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and pyrite hosted by chloritic and silicifiedgabbro.

First Lithium believes this gold-mineralized zone was nottruncated by Hole MR-10-10, and as such is open at depth. It is theiropinion that the association of gold mineralization in altered mafic tointermediate intrusions is strongly suggestive of the geologic settingof the Trelawney gold deposits. First Lithium intends to performadditional drilling in the immediate proximity of this hole followingreview of geophysical survey results to further determine the extent ofgold mineralization. Arrangements have reportedly been made with theirdrill contractor to return to the site within the next few weeks.

(TSX VENTURE: NCM) is pleased to announce that First Lithium Resources Inc. will resume drilling on Newcastle's Mollie River Property located approximately four kilometres east of Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc.'s Chester Gold Complex in northwestern Ontario. First Lithium will continue drilling DDH MR-10-10, which was previously drilled to a depth of 194m. The final 9m interval of that core revealed elevated gold and copper levels (see news release March 2, 2011). Ontario Geological Survey mapping from 1980 recorded both felsic-intermediate metavolcanics with quartz veins/pods and "migmatitic" (or intermediate-felsic intrusive) rocks listed as massive hornblende diorite also with quartz veins. The possible extension of the mineralized zone from Trelawney's property appears to align itself with a coincidental Mag-VLF anomaly on Newcastle's Chester property, which appears prospective.

Under management's direction, Mr. Garry Clark of Clark Exploration Consulting Inc. has begun logistical planning for the spring 2011 drill campaign and is currently negotiating to secure a diamond drill.

Newcastle Reports Preliminary Drill Results on Its Chester Project

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jul 05, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Newcastle Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:NCM) is pleased to announce that it has completed a four-hole, 1,050-metre diamond drilling program on its 100% owned Chester Project located in northwestern Ontario, Canada.

All holes encountered intermediate intrusive rocks - primarily hornblende diorite - and occasionally intermediate to mafic volcanics. The hornblende diorite was generally medium green-grey, medium- to coarse-grained (2 mm to 5 mm), massive, and approximately 50% to 60% hornblende and 40% to 50% feldspar. The intermediate volcanics were very fine grained and commonly amygduloidal for several metres at both the upper and lower contacts with the intermediate intrusive, and fine- to medium-grained and massive in the core of the units.

Sulphide mineralization was weak throughout the rocks encountered and was usually associated with variable degrees of alteration and fracturing. The main sulphides encountered were pyrite, pyhrrotite, chalcopyrite and possibly sphalerite, generally in trace amounts and occasionally up to 1% or 2% over several metres.

Alteration consisted primarily of variable quartz-carbonate +/- chlorite +/- sercite alteration and veining associated with zones of weak to moderate irregular fracturing, with local brecciation. Local hematite and/or potassic alteration was also present with the quartz-carbonate veining.

A total of 221 cut drill core samples were submitted to Accurassay of Thunder Bay, Ontario for assay and those results are pending. The drill program was carried out under the supervision of Mr. Des Cullen of Clark Exploration Consulting of Thunder Bay, Ontario and drilling was undertaken by Chenier Diamond Drilling of Sudbury, Ontario.

Newcastle completed a preliminary four-hole, 1,050-metre diamond drilling program focusing on targets on the eastern portion of the property in June 2011. While no significant gold assays were returned, anomalous gold was encountered and was dominantly associated with variable degrees of sulfide mineralization, alteration and fracturing in intermediate intrusive (primarily hornblende diorite) and occasionally intermediate-to-mafic metavolcanic rocks. The alteration and fracturing encountered during drilling may be associated with the "Ridout Deformation Zone," which is an important structural element in the area described in Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc.'s N.I. 43-101 Technical Report on the Cote Lake Deposit. A prospecting and sampling program will commence shortly on the Chester Project.

Also of note is the staking of 12 mineral claims (consisting of 7,680 acres)in June 2011 by Trelawney adjoining Newcastle's 15,480-acre Neville/Potier Project to the north. This places two of Newcastle's projects in the middle of Trelawney's land holdings in the Swayze belt.
