Im März 2010 stieß man bei Bohrungen auf der Windfall Lake Liegenschaft auf außerordentlich hohe Goldabschnitte. 14,5 g/t Gold über einen Abschnitt von 52 Metern sorgten hier für den Kursanstieg von 250% und mehr. Da man bei BonTerra davon ausgeht, dass sich die Mineralisierung Richtung Süden fortsetzt, hat man dort angrenzend ein Landpaket erworben.

BONTERRA INITIATES WORK ON LAVOIE NORTH AMERICAN EXPLORATION CLAIMS IN QUEBEC
BonTerra Resources Inc. has commenced a phase one exploration program on the 100-per-cent-owned Lavoie North American exploration property near the Windfall Lake property of Eagle Hill Exploration Corp. Located approximately 170 kilometres northeast of Val d'Or, and 125 km of Chibougamau in the Urban township in James Bay, Que. The northern Abitibi mineralized belt is a region well known for its gold and copper production, and excellent infrastructure for exploration and mining. These claims have shown a high favourability for orogenic gold deposits, according to the 2006 assessment of the Abitibi region by Lamonthe and Harris.
The recommended work program will consist of line cutting, followed by a ground magnetic survey to test for favourable geology and to define drill targets. Lines will be cut at 100 metres and chained and marked with a picket every 25 metres. The magnetic survey will be conducted with a GSM-19 portable magnetometer. The total magnetic field intensity will be recorded every 12.5 m, with a second magnetometer of the same type used to enhance weaker anomalies and highlight the geological contacts of the magnetic bodies. In total, about 200 km of line cutting and 200 km of magnetic surveying will be carried out on the property.
President Mitchell Adam stated: "We are very encouraged with the Lavoie North American property acquisition, because of its close proximity to many gold reserves. At 1.5 km to the southwest is Glen Eagle (GER), with a reserve of 564,000 tonnes at 6.2 grams per tonne. To the west, the Lavoie North American property shares the boundary with Metanor (MTO), which has a gold reserve of 719,000 tonnes at 4.68 g/t, and to the east the Lavoie property shares its boundary with Amseco/Beaufied, with a reserve of 540,000 tonnes at 7.2 g/t. Finally, the Lavoie property north boundary is located at 2.6 km south of Eagle Hill project. We feel that this, coupled with the geology located on the Lavoie North American property, bodes well for success in locating and drilling successful targets."
The proposed geophysical survey work will be done by Mike Lavoie Exploration and Geophysique TMC, respectively, both of Val d'Or, Que.

Bonterra Acquires Further Windfall Lake Claims in Quebec

(BTR: TSXV) (the "Company") announces that it has entered into an agreement with North American Exploration Ltd. to acquire a 100-per-cent interest prospective ground near the Windfall lake property of Eagle Hill Exploration Corp. in the Abitibi mineralized belt of Northern Quebec. This area between Val d'Or and Chibougamau is known for its gold and copper production and excellent infrastructure for exploration and mining.
The 95 separate claim blocks total approximately 1,520 hectares south of the EAG property. Terms of the deal call for BTR to pay the vendor a total of $20,000 on the execution of the agreement and issue 1,000,000 shares of the Company on claim application approval and TSX Venture approval. The Company will issue a 2% NSR with .05% buyback for $1,000,000. BonTerra will also incur a minimum exploration expenditure of $140,000 in order to maintain good standing.This transaction will be subject to a finders fee.

The assay results from drill hole EAG-10-196 continue to indicate the presence of significant gold grades over wide mineralized intervals including 14.5 grams per tonne gold over 52 metres (3.51 g/t gold when cut to 1.00 ounce per ton).
Drill hole EAG-10-196 is the first step-out drill hole completed at the Windfall Lake property by Eagle Hill, and extends the gold mineralization by 46 metres to the southwest. This is the westernmost borehole drilled on the gold zone and it indicates that the zone remains open to the southwest where additional drilling is being conducted. Gold mineralization is defined by abundant pyrite stockwork hosted by a highly silicified and sericitized rhyolite breccias.
Company president, Mitchell Adam states, "We are continuing to develop a very sizable land position in Quebec and feel that both the geology and the mining exploration climate in Quebec are a very good fit for BonTerra. (BTR: TSXV) (the "Company" or "BTR") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Casey Forward to the company's board of directors and to act as the company's CFO. Mr. Forward is a professional accountant with over 25 years of experience and has been employed as an officer and director of several public companies involved in mining and business development. Mr. Forward has an extensive knowledge of the regulatory filing processes involved both in Canada and the U.S. fMr. Forward replaces Mr. Jerry Mini who has tendered his resignation as director and Chief Financial Officer as of today's date.
The Company has granted incentive stock options, pursuant to the Company's stock option plan, to its directors, officers and consultants for the purchase of up to one million one hundred thousand (1,100,000) common shares of the Company for a period of three years at a price of $0.20 per share.
BTR continues to evaluate potential further acquisitions in Quebec to add to its portfolio of recently announced properties.
On January 25, 2010, BTR announced it had entered into an agreement to acquire a 100 percent interest in ground applied for, adjacent to First Gold Exploration Inc.'s Pivert/Rose property.
On March 3, 2010, BTR announced an agreement to purchase a 100 percent interest in 22 strategic mineral claims, directly adjacent to the Pivert-Rose rare metal (lithium, rubidium, tantalum and beryllium) project owned by First Gold Exploration Inc., in the James Bay district of northern Quebec.
The 22 claims encompass approximately 1,165 hectares (or 11.6 square kilometres) and were staked via map designation by Terrax Management. The claim block is pending registration by the government of Quebec. Its acceptance is expected any day. BonTerra has other mineral claims pending in the area and once the claim groups have been accepted, they will give it a strong presence in the district.
The claims acquired cover the same general geology as ground owned by First Gold and lie in close proximity of known pegmatite dikes, in the region which are host to rare metals including Li, Rb, Ta and Be.
On March 11, 2010, BTR entered into an agreement to acquire a 100 percent interest in ground near the Windfall Lake property of Eagle Hill Exploration Corp. in the Abitibi mineralized belt of Northern Quebec. This area between Val d'Or and Chibougamau is known for its gold and copper production, and excellent infrastructure for exploration and mining.
The 36 separate claim blocks total approximately 2,016 hectares, to the southwest of the Eagle Hill property. The ground has been applied for through Gestim, and the applications have been paid and the applications have been acknowledged as received by the Quebec Ministere des Ressources Naturelles et de la Faune.
The ground was strategically selected as a high favourability area prospective for orogenic gold favourablity as determined by the Lamonthe and Harris 2006 assessment of the potential for orogeneic gold deposits in the Abitibi region.

BonTerra Resources beginnt Arbeiten auf den Lavoie-North-American-Exploration-Claims in Québec
Vancouver (British Columbia) - 21. April 2010: BonTerra Resources Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that, further to its news release dated June 25, 2009, it has increased the proposed unit financing from Cdn$12,000,000 to Cdn$15,000,000. In addition, the Company intends to close the first tranche as a non-brokered financing of Cdn$500,000 in early August with the remaining brokered financing closing simultaneously with the proposed acquisition of the Red Mountain Property as disclosed in the news release dated June 25, 2009. The Company intends to offer the Cdn$500,000 non-brokered financing at a price of Cdn$0.50 per unit, each unit consisting of one share and one share purchase warrant. Each warrant is exercisable into one common share at a price of Cdn$0.75 per share for a period of two years. The Company has agreed to pay a finder's fee of $3,500 to Haywood Securities Inc. with respect to one subscription for the proposed issuance of 100,000 units. The Company intends to use the proceeds of the first tranche to partially fund a proposed drill program on the Company's Willoughby Claims.

BonTerra has delineated a 3 km magnetic anomaly. This anomaly is situated on a northeast to southwest trend. It lays in a parallel fault structure between the known Nubar deposit of Glen Eagle Resources Inc. (currently estimated to be 564,000 tonnes at 6.2 g/t; non NI 43-101 complaint) and Amseco Exploration Ltd.-Beaufield Resource Inc.'s Lac Rouleau. Lac Rouleau is currently composed of 544,000 tonnes at 7.2 g/t (non NI 43-101 complaint). This northern structure runs from Eagle Hill Exploration Corp.`s Windfall Lake Gold Property (33 metres at 19 g/t as well as a 1,400 metre underground decline) in the northeast to Metanor Resources Inc.'s Barry Deposit (35,500 Oz gold indicated & 67,600 Oz gold inferred in zones 43 and 45 and in the main zone) in the southwest.
Further, the Company announces that it has entered into a data purchase of the recently flown Airborne Magnetic data from Amseco Exploration Ltd. The Company is currently in the process of interpreting the data and finalising the interpretation of the 80km Ground mag survey which was done on the property over that last month. The Company will also begin to complete a NI 43-101 technical report on this property as management firmly believes this is BonTerra's most immediately exploitable asset.

Bonterra To Acquire Gold Property East Of Current Drilling

Vancouver, BC - December 14, 2010: BonTerra Resources Inc. (TSXV: BTR; FSE: 9BR) ("BonTerra") announces that it has entered into a property acquisition agreement dated December 10, 2010 to acquire 57 claims totaling 912 hectares. The claim group is contiguous to and along strike with BonTerra's Eastern Extension property in Quebec, Canada, which is currently undergoing an extensive drilling program.
Xemac Resources was a historic owner and completed an induced polarity (IP) + Resistivity survey in 1997. Xemac also completed an electromagnetic survey (VLF-EM) in 1997. Historical work has identified 2 magnetic axes trends according to historical assessment reports. The first of these axes strikes north-south and bends to NE-SW in the eastern part of the property. The second magnetic axis strikes east-west and was said to apparently cross the basalt - granodiorite contact on the property.
Historical work on the new claims focused on geophysics and diamond drilling. Sundust Resources completed a 10 hole drill program on the property in 1998 totalling 1,711.45 metres. Gold was historically found primarily in quartz veins. BonTerra's geological team believes this is on strike with its current drill program on the Eastern Extension property. As a result, BonTerra has entered into the agreement to acquire the property. Upon the closing of the agreement, BonTerra intends to roll the property into a combined geophysics and drill program in January.
Mitchell Adam, President, states, "This proposed acquisition, which will expand BonTerra's Eastern Extension property, is a strategic move to continue to consolidate its land position and presence in the Urban-Barry fragment of the Abitibi."
Under the terms of the agreement, BonTerra has agreed to pay $35,000 and issue 2 million shares to the vendor upon approval by the TSX Venture Exchange. On closing, BonTerra has also agreed to grant the vendor a 2% net smelter royalty, of which 1% can be purchased back by BonTerra for $1.0 million. The closing of the acquisition is subject to certain conditions, including approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. Shares issued to the vendor will include a four month hold period as required in accordance with applicable securities laws.
The technical information in this news release has been prepared in accordance with the Canadian regulatory requirements set out in National Instrument 43-101 and reviewed on behalf of BonTerra by Thomas Clarke, Pr.Sci.Nat., a qualified person and Director of BonTerra.

Vor Weihnachten wurden zwei Bohrlöcher abgeschlossen. Der Kern wurde aufgezeichnet und wird nun geteilt und zur Analyse eingeschickt.
Diese beiden vor kurzem abgeschlossenen Bohrlöcher wurden westlich der ersten drei Bohrlöcher gebohrt, die im November Goldwerte von bis zu 77,8 Gramm pro Tonne ergaben. BonTerra Resources' ongoing drill program on their 100%-owned Eastern Extension property in Quebec has the company excited for its Phase 3 drilling program, currently planned for Q1 2011. Intercepts from the fall program, which saw assays such as 6 metres grading almost 16 grams per tonne gold and nearly 40 grams per tonne of silver with anomalous copper, and 13.5 metres grading 17 grams per tonne gold and 9.8 grams per tonne silver have demonstrated the presence of strong gold and silver mineralization in these quartz veins which are located at the boundaries of a felsic intrusive within shear zones.
Currently the company is drilling 3 additional 200 metre holes seeking to extend the mineralized horizon outlined by the first set of drill holes outlined above.
The Eastern Extension property is located approximately 170 km NE of Val-d'Or and 125 km SW of Chibougamau in the Barry and Bailly townships in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, Quebec. BonTerra's Urban-Barry property is situated just west of the Eastern Extension property. So far, BonTerra has yet to drill any of the gold bearing veins beyond 210 metres in depth, and so future drill programs will test those veins at depth for continuity.
According to a story published in the Wall Street Journal's MarketWatch, BonTerra is in a "prime location with results", and asks, "Is BonTerra the next Windfall?"
The story goes on to say, "The significance of this new gold bearing zone discovery on BonTerra's Eastern Extension property cannot be understated as this may well represent the beginning of a rapid phase of growth for BonTerra. BonTerra's area claim groups are situated next to Metanor Resources' Barry deposit property and open pit mine which contains 309,500 oz Au of Indicated Resources (7,701,000 t at 1.25 g/t Au), 471,950 oz Au of Inferred Resources (10,411,000 t at 1.41 g/t Au), is wide open for expansion and in an area ripe with numerous anomalies leading many to speculate a 4+ million ounce gold target is readily achievable with long term plans to build a concentrator on site. The BonTerra claims are also located 10 km from the Windfall property presently owned by Eagle Hill Exploration (EAG - V) which recently announced very promising drilling results, in fact, only one year after acquiring the project, Eagle Hill Exploration has completed significant steps towards the definition of a large gold system, potentially amenable to bulk mining."

The grades and mineralization have prompted BonTerra to expand their land holdings, and on December 14, 2010 the company announced it had acquired an additional 57 claims covering 912 hectares contiguous and along strike to the Eastern Extension property.
"This proposed acquisition, which will expand BonTerra's Eastern Extension property, is a strategic move to continue to consolidate its land position and presence in the Urban-Barry fragment of the Abitibi," said BonTerra CEO Mitch Adam.
