Duncastle Completes Airborne Survey at Porphyry Creek
      7/26/2010 12:07:39 PM - Market Wire

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jul 26, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Duncastle Gold Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: DUN)(FRANKFURT: 5D3) reported today that Fugro Airborne Surveys Corp. has completed work on the airborne geophysical survey on its Porphyry Creek project located 20 kilometers northwest of Smithers, in northwest British Columbia.

Preliminary data from the +500 line-km survey has identified at least three significant target areas showing a strong correlation between the electromagnetic, magnetic and radiometric components of the survey and historic and current geological results. Of particular interest is the Sultana prospect where strong EM conductors are associated with historic trench (up to 7.5g/t Au, 2,057g/t Ag and 0.5% Cu over 2.7 meters) and drill results (up to 1.03g/t Au, 638g/t Ag, and 9.06% Cu over 0.6 meters), and circa 1969-70 sampling of altered intrusive by Utah Mines Ltd. which identified a broad 500m x 500m Cu-Mo surface anomaly on the property. Data from the survey is now being processed and interpreted into a final report. Historical results have been compiled from government databases and predate NI 43-101. Duncastle has not independently verified past exploration results.

President Michael Rowley commented: "We are pleased that the airborne survey on the Porphyry Creek project has provided rapid verification and development of targets, even in the preliminary data. The project continues to advance nicely within the framework of a porphyry deposit model that is appropriate to the host rocks and neighbouring mines and deposits. We look forward to building on the historic results at Sultana and other prospects in the coming months."

A ground based geological reconnaissance program, similar to and expanding upon work done by the Company in 2008, will commence in August and focus on verification of the newly identified geophysical anomalies and target definition in preparation for an anticipated fall 2010 drilling program.

The Porphyry Creek project covers over 115 sq km of mineral claims with historic workings and numerous high-grade gold, silver and polymetallic showings around a distinct 10 kilometer long magnetic high with coincident copper, lead and zinc geochemical anomalies shown in government data. Data compilation and modeling by the Company has demonstrated mineral zonation on the property consistent with porphyry style deposits. There are over 20 porphyry discoveries within a 350km radius of the project, including Berg, Bell, Huckleberry, Mt Milligan, and Galore Creek among others, plus other deposit types (eg Eskay Creek).

Duncastle Gold Corp. is a Vancouver based gold exploration company with mineral claims covering or surrounding past producing mines in two historic BC districts. In Southeast BC Duncastle holds a claim block with a focus on the high-grade gold-silver-lead-zinc veins at the former Yankee-Dundee mine, 50 km from the smelter at Trail, BC. In Northwest BC the Company's project covers a 10 km long magnetic anomaly, previous workings, and high-grade precious metal veins on its Porphyry Creek claims. Duncastle has assembled contiguous claim blocks totaling more than 170 sq km in these two productive regions.

As part of the Manex Resource Group, Duncastle benefits from shared expertise in corporate finance, public company administration, investor relations, and the technical and geological services provided for the eight public companies active in North America. Since its formation in 1997, the Manex Group companies have raised over C$250 million in exploration financing.

Robert Macdonald (P.Geo) is the Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 for the Porphyry Creek project and has reviewed and approved the technical contents of this release.

      Aug. 3, 2010 (Market News Publishing) --
      DUNCASTLE GOLD CORP ("DUN-V")
      - Completes Engineering Summary Report At Yankee-dundee

Duncastle Gold Corp. (the "Company") reported that it has received an engineering summary report on its historic Yankee-Dundee mine project, located three kilometres northeast of Ymir and 50 kilometres from Trail, in southeastern British Columbia.

The report, prepared by Doug Irving, PEng, of Chapman, Wood &Griswold Inc following a full data review and mine visit, outlines on a conceptual basis two clear alternatives for potential underground development and production and sets resource benchmarks and timing estimates for each scenario.

The report re-affirms additional mineral resource potential in the Yankee Girl structure which could support an initial 50,000 to 75,000 tonnes per year underground operation. Gold, silver and polymetallic mineralization of potentially economic grade have been identified adjacent to existing mine workings at the Yankee Girl West zone near the 1235 adit (by Duncastle) and at the Cayzor raise near the Wildhorse adit (historic records) that with some additional drilling could constitute the initial tonnages required for underground mine development.

Two possible operating scenarios are presented in the report including a "Mine-only" alternative to produce feed ore to existing facilities in the area on a reduced timeline with relatively low capital requirements and a "Mine and Mill" scenario developed at a greater cost and time requirement. Broad initial estimates in terms of costs, time and project requirements are provided for both scenarios.

The report concludes that the Yankee-Dundee project warrants further exploration and recommends a minimum level of surface drilling in order to support a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate which may be used as the basis for funding an underground mining scenario with gold as the principal source of revenue, supplemented with credits from silver, lead and zinc values.

The Company is in discussions with potential development partners to work with in advancing the project through underground development and a bulk sample program with the goal of production.

Duncastle Signs Agreement with First Nations at Porphyry Creek
      8/9/2010 10:50:09 AM - Market Wire

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Aug 9, 2010 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network) --

Duncastle Gold Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:DUN)(FRANKFURT:5D3) reported today that it has signed a Communciations and Engagement Agreement with First Nations for 2010 exploration work on the eastern portion of its Porphyry Creek project located 20 kilometres northwest of Smithers in northwest British Columbia.

The agreement provides employment, training and business opportunities to First Nations and First Nations businesses in the eastern project area while granting Duncastle access for planned reconnaissance geology and drilling programs in 2010. The agreement compliments an earlier agreement signed for access to the western portion of the property and is a continuation of the positive relationship Duncastle has built with local communities starting with early consultation before work commenced in 2008.

Duncastle now has agreements in place with First Nations for all 2010 exploration target areas on the property.

The Porphyry Creek project presents a compelling porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum target with over 115 sq km of highly mineralized claims covering numerous high-grade gold, silver and polymetallic showings around a distinct 10 kilometer long magnetic high in stratigraphy known to host large porphyry deposits.

Three areas on the property have emerged as early targets where preliminary magnetic and electromagnetic anomalies co-incide with known high-grade mineralization. The Sultana prospect in particular is now considered 'high priority' and covers a 500 meter by 500 meter area of altered intrusive and mineralized copper and molybdenum surface rock samples. Drilling is planned for September.

Duncastle Gold Corp. is a Vancouver based gold exploration company with mineral claims covering or surrounding past producers in two historic BC districts. In Southeast BC Duncastle is targeting high-grade gold-silver-lead-zinc veins at the former Yankee-Dundee mine, 50km from the smelter at Trail, BC. In Northwest BC the Company's holdings cover a 10 km long magnetic anomaly, previous workings, and high-grade veins at its Porphyry Creek project. Duncastle has assembled contiguous claim blocks totaling more than 190 sq km in each of these two productive regions for gold and copper exploration.

As part of the Manex Resource Group, Duncastle benefits from shared expertise in corporate finance, public company administration, investor relations, and technical and geological services provided for eight public companies. Since its formation in 1997, the companies within the Manex Group have raised over C$250 million in exploration financing.

Duncastle Commences Ground Geological Program at Porphyry Creek
      8/17/2010 12:38:06 PM - Market Wire

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Aug 17, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Duncastle Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: DUN)(FRANKFURT: 5D3) reported today that it has commenced ground based geological work at its Porphyry Creek project located 20 kilometers northwest of Smithers, in northwest British Columbia.

The work program continues the target selection and prospect evaluation process started in 2008 and will focus on assessing newly identified geophysical anomalies in preparation for an anticipated Fall 2010 drilling program. Ranex Exploration Ltd has been retained to conduct the exploration program from its Smithers office with oversight from Duncastle's corporate office at the Manex Resource Group.

To complement the 2008 ground program on the west side of the property, the 2010 program will focus on priority geophysical targets on the east side of the property which were generated from a recently completed airborne DIGHEM survey (July 26, 2010 news release). Targets on the eastern side of the property and are associated with two clusters of known copper/molybdenum +/- gold/silver mineral occurrences including the Sultana, Big Thing, MT and Tina showings. Geophysical responses from the survey may reflect differing host lithologies, associated alteration assemblages and metal type and content between the different occurrences within theses broader target areas.

Sultana, Big Thing and MT Prospects

The Sultana prospect is the most developed target on the property and will be the focus of most of the work in this phase of exploration. Preliminary 2010 airborne results show a coincident 600m by 400m conductive (EM) and magnetic response within a broader 1,400m by 900m anomaly. The geophysical anomalies are spatially associated with historic trench (up to 7.5g/t Au, 2,057g/t Ag and 0.5% Cu over 2.7 meters) and drill results (up to 1.03g/t Au, 638g/t Ag, and 9.06% Cu over 0.6 meters), and also with circa 1969-70 sampling of altered intrusive by Utah Mines Ltd (1) which identified a broad 500m x 500m Cu-Mo surface anomaly on the property within fractured granodiorite mineralized with chalcopyrite.

The MT Showing located 2 kilometres to the south of the Sultana has a more muted geophysical response but features high-grade historic rock grab samples (select) including 5,187g/t Ag and 2.34% Cu in one sample, 23.0g/t Au, 1,817g/t Ag and 1.09% Cu in a second, and 5.1g/t Au, 2,846g/t Ag and 3.65% Cu in a third(1).

Tina West, Tina North and Porphyry East Targets

These geophysical targets are located near the Tina molybdenum showing and were identified recently from the preliminary airborne survey. Tina West and Porphyry East show conductive EM anomalies, strong magnetic response and positive potassic anomalies in the radiometric component of the survey. Tina North shows a magnetic anomaly.

Other targets which were identified in the 2010 geophysical survey and are currently interpreted as distal, high-grade polymetallic veins include the Brunswick Mine and the Brian Boru prospect.

      Brunswick Mine

The area of the historic Brunswick Mine features co-incident geophysical anomalies including a strong EM response (conductive high) in preliminary data. Dump and talus samples returned 2,566g/t Ag, 11.1% Pb and 19.4% Zn in one sample and 1,131g/t Ag, 4.9% Pb and 4.1% Zn in a second from the Brunswick Adit area in the 2008 geological program. In addition, stream sediment sampling in the area returned anomalous copper and silver values in the 2008 program.

      Brian Boru prospect

The Brian Boru prospect area shows a strong conductive high (EM anomaly) co-incident with highly mineralized samples from the 2008 program (152g/t Ag and 22% Zn from a massive sulphide boulder), and anomalous copper and silver values in stream sediment sampling, also from the 2008 program.

      (1) Historical results are compiled from government databases and predate NI 43-101. Duncastle has not independently verified past exploration results.

The Porphyry Creek project consists of over 118 sq km of mineral claims with historic workings and numerous high-grade gold, silver and polymetallic showings around a distinct 10 kilometer long magnetic high with coincident copper, lead and zinc geochemical anomalies shown in government data. Duncastle Reports on Reconnaissance Geological Program at Porphyry Creek
      9/14/2010 12:23:06 PM - Market Wire

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Sep 14, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --

Duncastle Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE: DUN)(FRANKFURT: 5D3) reported today on assay results from recently completed surface exploration at its Porphyry Creek project located 20 kilometers northwest of Smithers, in northwest British Columbia.

Surface mapping and sampling targeted two clusters of known copper/molybdenum +/- gold/silver mineral occurrences on the east side of the property including the Sultana, Big Thing, MT and Tina showings and was designed to follow-up on targets identified in an recently completed airborne geophysical survey.

At Sultana, soil and rock samples strongly enriched in copper, molybdenum, silver and gold extend to the north and northeast from the known mineral occurrence. Anomalous soil samples include copper to over 3,300 part per million, molybdenum to over 800 part per million, and gold to over 350 part per billion and form several discrete northwest trends which coalesce into a broad +300 metre by +100 metre anomaly in the southern part of the grid. The multi-element anomaly is open to the east.

Rock sampling work focused on identifying mineralized structures and returned several high-grade gold, silver and copper results including 18.25g/t gold in a sample from the Sultana vein system. Individual veins are generally less than 30cm but can occur in sheeted northwest-trending clusters paralleling the multi-element soil anomalies. Several samples with over limit copper (greater than 1%), silver (greater than 200g/t) and molybdenum (greater than 0.4%) are now being re-analyzed.

President Michael Rowley commented on the results saying "the presence of such highly anomalous copper and molybdenum in the soil geochemistry results is very encouraging, as is the continued presence of significant gold and silver, which confirms that the system carries precious metal values."

The Porphyry Creek project covers over 118 sq km of mineral claims with historic workings and numerous high-grade gold, silver and polymetallic showings around a distinct 10 kilometer long magnetic high with coincident copper, lead and zinc geochemical anomalies shown in government data. Data compilation and modeling by Duncastle has demonstrated mineral zonation on the property consistent with porphyry style deposits. There are over 20 porphyry discoveries in the region, including Berg, Bell, Huckleberry, Mt Milligan, and Galore Creek among others, plus other deposit types (eg Eskay Creek).

Duncastle Gold Corp. is a Vancouver based gold exploration company with mineral claims covering or surrounding past producing mines in two historic BC districts. Duncastle also holds the Yankee-Dundee mine in Southeast BC with a focus on high-grade gold-silver-lead-zinc veins just 50 km from the smelter at Trail, BC. Duncastle has assembled contiguous claim blocks totaling 190 sq km in two productive regions.

Duncastle Commences Drilling at Porphyry Creek

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Sep. 29, 2010 (Marketwire) -- Duncastle Gold Corp. (TSX VENTUER:DUN)(FRANKFURT:5D3) reported today that it has commenced drilling on its Porphyry Creek project located 20 kilometers northwest of Smithers, in northwest British Columbia.

Three holes totaling 1,200 metres are planned in Duncastle's first drill program on the property. The holes target ground geochemical sampling and coincident geophysical anomalies located in the area of the historic Sultana prospect. One hole targets anomalous copper and molybdenum geochemical results reported September 14, 2010 while a second cuts underneath the historic drill holes and trenches and also under the anomalous copper and molybdenum in intrusive rock identified in historic results.

Reconnaissance geology work is also planned, with a particular focus on investigating and developing a "pipeline" of new targets identified in the recent airborne geophysical results.

The Porphyry Creek project covers over 130 sq km of mineral claims with historic workings and numerous high-grade gold, silver and polymetallic showings around a distinct 10 kilometer long magnetic high with coincident copper, lead and zinc geochemical anomalies shown in government and Duncastle data. Data compilation and modeling by Duncastle has demonstrated mineral zonation on the property consistent with porphyry style deposits. There are over 20 porphyry discoveries in the region, including Berg, Bell, Huckleberry, Mt Milligan, and Galore Creek among others, plus other deposit types (eg Eskay Creek).

....schaut mal, aus dem Stockhouse-Forum, die Antwort von unserem Donut-Chef-Koch auf eine E-Mail:

Sent an e-mail to the President, Michael Rowley and got a quick response.

Thanks for your email, I'm happy to answer your questions.

We are using one drill rig. The rocks are hard, which is a good sign as they appear to be silicified which fits our model, so drilling has been slower than it could otherwise be. I would expect 16 days drilling plus a day mobing between sites. The sites are only a few hundred m apart in total.

Essentially we are drilling 3 holes from the inside of our 'donut' (ring-shaped anomaly) towards the outside, down into the conductive high. These holes also go under very high copper and molybdenum in soils (geochem) and, in the case of our second hole, also under the historic drill and trench results from 1969.

Duncastle Announces Porphyry Copper-Molybdenum Discovery and Stakes Additional Claims

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Dec. 16, 2010 (Marketwire) -- Duncastle Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:DUN)(FRANKFURT:5D3) reported today on results from the fall 2010 drill program at its Porphyry Creek project located 20 kilometers northwest of Smithers, in northwest British Columbia.

Three drill holes totaling 1,330 meters were completed at a nominal 100 meter spacing to test a 200 meter strike length of coincident geophysical and surface geochemical anomalies at the Sultana prospect, one of seven priority targets on the 130 square kilometer project.

All three drill holes were mineralized throughout their length with chalcopyrite and lesser molybdenite. Overall, copper values are seen increasing down hole towards the magnetic low that encircles the drill sites (see figure at http://duncastlegoldcorp.com). The best results were returned from PC10-01 which averaged 0.055% copper over its entire 441 meter length including a lower 105 meter interval averaging 0.10% copper increasing to 0.20% copper over the final 30 meters of the hole. PC-10-01 also intersected two separate three meter intervals with 0.34% and 0.35% copper, and a six meter zone of high-grade molybdenum with copper and precious metals values grading 0.30% molybdenum, 0.30% copper, 13.9 g/t silver and 0.16 g/t gold. Mineralization is associated with moderate to strong potassic alteration of the intrusive host rock with later-phase phyllic and propylitic alteration associated with some of the higher copper values.

Similarly, PC10-02 averaged 0.037% Cu over 304 meters and PC10-03 averaged 0.033% Cu over 580 meters in the same altered host rock. All values are reported as down hole thickness.

The holes were collared within a strong magnetic high and drilled westward into an area of low magnetics and a strong in-phase electromagnetic (EM) signature. Increasing copper grades correlate closely with the transition toward the electromagnetic high in both drill holes PC10-01 and PC10-03 and stronger phyllic alteration of the host rock with a higher overall pyrite content.

The annular shape of the magnetic response, together with the massive nature of the host rock (granodiorite), alteration styles, and the persistent concentrations of copper and molybdenum suggest that the holes were collared in the centre of a porphyry copper-molybdenum system.

Duncastle Gold is planning follow-up drilling at Sultana to test the adjacent electromagnetic high which extends for over 800 meters width x 1,200 meters strike length. Work is also being planned for other areas on the property where airborne and geochemical survey work has identified multiple targets that will be followed up with groundwork in spring 2011.

President Michael Rowley commented: "We are very pleased with the results from our first drill program on the property. We have the potential to define a well-mineralized porphyry copper-molybdenum system that is consistent with the area geology and existing discoveries. In addition, the airborne geophysical survey has demonstrated excellent value in terms of target identification and definition, which should accelerate future target development."

The Porphyry Creek project covers over 130 sq km of mineral claims with historic workings and numerous high-grade gold, silver and polymetallic showings around a distinct 10 kilometer long magnetic high with coincident copper, lead and zinc geochemical anomalies shown in government data.

      New Claims Added

Duncastle Gold also reported today that it added 1,515 contiguous hectares to the Porphyry Creek mineral claim group via direct staking based on the positive drill and airborne results, bringing the property total to about 13,097 hectares (over 130 square kilometers).

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. I am happy to answer your questions.

I've posted my President's letter from October on the website and it makes a good overview of our vision and direction.

In essence, our goal is to partner Yankee-Dundee through underground development and into production within a (say) two or three year timeframe, giving us income and enabling acquisitions and exploration of properties such as Porphyry Creek which has terrific upside and appears to be a potential 'company builder'.

I expect big things from Porphyry Creek in the coming year, and believe that we will have significant value there by this time next year. It is a large property in prime NW BC mining country, and it has mineralization literally all over it. Our drill work at Sultana in 2010 is just the beginning for the package.

Of course we review potential new acquisitions as well on an ongoing basis and will move quickly to acquire land packages of real interest.

Being part of the Manex Resource Group definitely helps our exposure to quality projects.

I hope this answers your question. Feel free to call or email any time for more information.

      PRESS RELEASES 4/28/2011 2:55:48 PM
Duncastle Signs Agreements With First Nations at Porphyry Creek, Adds Claim
April 28, 2011 - 02:55:48 PM VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 28, 2011) - Duncastle Gold Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:DUN)(FRANKFURT:5D3) reported today that it has signed agreements with two First Nations for 2011 exploration work on its Porphyry Creek project located 30 kilometers northwest of Smithers in northwest British Columbia.

The agreements provide employment, training and business opportunities to First Nations and First Nations businesses in the project areas while granting Duncastle access for reconnaissance geology and drilling programs in 2011. The agreements are a continuation of the positive relationship Duncastle has built with local communities starting with early consultation before work commenced in 2008.

Duncastle now has agreements in place with First Nations for all 2011 exploration target areas on the property.

Duncastle also reported today that it added a claim totaling about 463 hectares to the Porphyry Creek project in order to properly stake the MT showing which appears to have been incorrectly mapped in the public database. Recent compilation and analysis of past work has identified the MT showing as occurring two kilometers south of its mapped location, or about four kilometers south of Duncastle's recent copper-molybdenum porphyry discovery at the Sultana mine on the Porphyry Creek project.

Select historic high-grade rock chip samples from the MT showing include 5,187g/t Ag and 2.34% Cu in one sample, 23.0g/t Au, 1,817g/t Ag and 1.09% Cu in a second, and 5.1g/t Au, 2,846g/t Ag and 3.65% Cu in a third(1). Geologic mapping by Amax Exploration in 1967 identified an intrusive body with an accompanying 1,000 x 300 meter zone with strong alteration and pyritic mineralization. Concurrent geochemical sampling returned some anomalous copper and molybdenum values, but outcrops were extensively leached, making the mineral potential impossible to evaluate on surface. The zone corresponds well with the southern extension of a strong conductivity (EM) response seen in Duncastle's 2010 airborne geophysical survey. Further investigation of this significant geologic anomaly will be conducted during Duncastle's work program commencing in May 2011.

      (1) Historical results are compiled from government databases and predate NI 43-101. Duncastle has not independently verified past exploration results.

      PRESS RELEASES 5/25/2011 9:00:00 AM | CCNMatthews
Duncastle Commences Drilling at Porphyry Creek
May 25, 2011 - 09:00:00 AM VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 25, 2011) - Duncastle Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:DUN)(FRANKFURT:5D3) announced today that it has commenced drilling on its Porphyry Creek project located 30 kilometers northwest of Smithers, in northwest British Columbia.

Up to six holes totaling 2,400 metres are planned to follow up on Duncastle's copper-molybdenum porphyry discovery at the Sultana mine area announced December 16, 2010. The holes target an 800 meter by 1,200 meter area of coincident high conductivity and low magnetic susceptibility located to the west and to the north of the 2010 discovery holes. Copper grade in the 2010 drill results was noted to increase down hole towards the magnetic low anomaly, with hole PC-10-01 ending in 30 meters of 0.2% copper (see figure at
      http://www.duncastlegoldcorp.com/uploads/tinymce/2010_result…

Exploration work is also planned for summer 2011 at less advanced targets on the large (135 square kilometer) Porphyry Creek property. Reconnaissance ground geological work and a geochemical survey program are planned for the west side of the claim group with potential ground geophysics and drilling to follow. Priority targets include a large 2km x 2km conductive airborne anomaly with high IOCG/skarn potential in the northwest corner of the claim block, and the Brian Boru prospect and Brunswick Mine, both of which are currently interpreted as distal, high-grade polymetallic veins. The area of the historic Brunswick Mine features co-incident geophysical anomalies including a strong EM response (conductive high). Select dump and talus samples returned 2,566g/t Ag, 11.1% Pb and 19.4% Zn in one sample and 1,131g/t Ag, 4.9% Pb and 4.1% Zn in a second from the area of the Brunswick Adit. In addition, stream sediment sampling in these areas from Duncastle's 2008 exploration program returned anomalous copper, gold and silver values. The Brian Boru prospect area shows a strong conductive high (EM anomaly) co-incident with highly mineralized samples from the 2008 program (including 152g/t Ag and 22% Zn from a massive sulphide boulder), and anomalous copper and silver values in stream sediment sampling (also from the 2008 program).

The MT area south of Sultana has a more muted geophysical response but features high-grade historic rock select chip samples including 5,187g/t Ag and 2.34% Cu in one sample, 23.0g/t Au, 1,817g/t Ag and 1.09% Cu in a second, and 5.1g/t Au, 2,846g/t Ag and 3.65% Cu in a third(1).

Other targets include Tina West, Tina North, and Porphyry East targets which will be prioritized as additional surface data is acquired.

A figure summarizing the other targets at Porphyry Creek is available at http://www.duncastlegoldcorp.com/uploads/tinymce/other_targe…

Duncastle Completes Second Drill Program at Porphyry Creek
      7/5/2011 9:15 AM - Market Wire

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Jul 5, 2011 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network) --

Duncastle Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:DUN)(FRANKFURT:5D3) ("Duncastle") reported today that it has completed the first drill program of 2011 on its Porphyry Creek project located 30 kilometers northwest of Smithers, in northwest British Columbia.

Six holes totaling about 2,583 meters of a planned 2,400 meter program were drilled in the Sultana mine area on the east side of the large 135 square kilometer property. Five holes were drilled south, west and southwest of the 2010 discovery holes in which all three drill holes were mineralized throughout their length with chalcopyrite and molybdenite including an average of 0.055% copper in hole PC10-01 (441 meters), which ended in 0.20% copper over the final 30 meters of the hole (see December 16, 2011 news release). A sixth hole was drilled from a pad to the northwest to test the highest electromagnetic conductor (geophysical anomaly) in the Sultana area. Together the nine holes drilled to date test an area over 600 meters in length as shown in the following figure: http://duncastlegoldcorp.com/uploads/projects/16/sultana-201…

Assay results are pending and additional drilling will be scheduled thereafter. Duncastle is now planning reconnaissance ground geological work and geochemical survey programs for the west side of the claim group as summarized in news releases dated February 22 and May 25, 2011. Potential ground geophysics and drilling are planned in these target areas later in the summer. A figure summarizing the other targets at Porphyry Creek is available at: http://www.duncastlegoldcorp.com/uploads/tinymce/other_targe…

There are over 20 porphyry discoveries in the region, including Berg, Bell, Huckleberry, Mt Milligan, and Galore Creek among others, plus other deposit types (e.g. Eskay Creek). The Porphyry Creek claim group includes historic workings and numerous high-grade gold, silver and polymetallic showings around a distinct 10 kilometer long magnetic high with coincident copper, lead and zinc geochemical anomalies shown in government data and Duncastle's work to date.

Duncastle Amends Porphyry Creek Property Agreement
February 23, 2012 - 03:10:11 PM VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 23, 2012) - Duncastle Gold Corp. ("Duncastle") (TSX VENTURE:DUN)(FRANKFURT:5D3) reported today that it has entered into an amended and restated agreement (the "Agreement") with respect to the Porphyry Creek property. Pursuant to the Agreement, Duncastle has the option to acquire a 100% interest in and to the Porphyry Creek property in consideration of making aggregate cash payments of $303,000 and incurring aggregate exploration expenditures of $1,500,000 on the property. Duncastle may, in its sole discretion, issue common shares to the optionors in lieu of any cash payment. As at the date of the Agreement, Duncastle has paid the optionors $66,000 and incurred $1,793,759 in exploration expenditures on the property. The optionors are entitled to receive a royalty equal to 2% of net smelter returns provided that Duncastle shall have the right to purchase one half of such royalty for $1,000,000 at any time up to and include the commencement of commercial production. The optionors of the property include John Norton, Michael Rowley, President and director, and Crucible Resources Limited, a company owned by director Douglas Warkentin. The amended and restated agreement is subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance.

      About the Porphyry Creek Project

The Porphyry Creek property consists of over 135 square kilometers of mineral claims in the Omineca Mining Division of northwest British Columbia, a highly prospective area that is home to multiple world class precious and base metal deposits and mines. The Porphyry Creek claim group includes historic workings and numerous high-grade gold, silver and polymetallic showings around a distinct 10 kilometre long magnetic high with coincident copper, lead and zinc geochemical anomalies shown in government data and Duncastle's work to date.

Duncastle conducted ground-based geological work in 2008, added substantially to the claim group in 2009, and completed an airborne geophysical survey in 2010. This body of work, in conjunction with available historic data, presented six priority targets with the most advanced being a porphyry target at the Sultana Mine area. Three holes totaling 1,330 meters were drilled in late 2010 which confirmed the presence of a new Cu-Mo porphyry system at Sultana with mineralization throughout all holes. Six holes totaling 2,583 meters were drilled in 2011 which successfully pushed the discovery to a zone approximately 400 meters by 500 meters by 500 meters deep containing widespread highly anomalous copper and molybdenum mineralization, with additional values of silver, tungsten and other minerals. Further drilling is required to test and delineate the full extent of the mineralizing system as mineralization remains open laterally to the west, south and north, and at depth. Five other priority exploration targets include an IOCG/skarn target, additional porphyry systems, and high-grade polymetallic vein systems.

Planned work for Porphyry Creek in 2012 includes ground based geological and geophysical programs focused on identifying higher grade mineralization at Sultana which will be tested in subsequent drill programs. Similar programs are planned for the five other priority targets summarized above with the aim of advancing these areas as drill targets.

      About Duncastle Gold Corp.

Duncastle is a Vancouver-based exploration company with mineral claims covering or surrounding past producing mines in northwest and southeast British Columbia, Canada. Duncastle has assembled contiguous claim blocks totaling more than 210 sq km in these two historic and productive regions. In addition to the Porphyry Creek project in northwest BC, Duncastle controls most of the historic Ymir Mining camp in southeast BC which was once the largest silver producer in the British Commonwealth, producing over $500 million in gross mineral value at today's values before mine closures in the 1940s. Environmental and engineering work is planned at the largest mine in the Ymir camp, the Yankee-Dundee mine, in order to reduce project development delays to potential partners during a proposed return to production. To date, Duncastle has completed positive preliminary engineering and metallurgical studies and drilled 48 holes totaling approximately 7,700m at Yankee-Dundee, resulting in the identification of high-grade gold-silver-lead-zinc mineralization near existing workings at the historic mine.

As part of the Manex Resource Group, Duncastle benefits from shared expertise in corporate finance, public company administration, investor relations, and technical and geological services provided for seven public companies active in North America. Since its formation in 1997, the Manex Group companies have raised over C$300 million in exploration financing.
