Entsprechend bourseinvestor.com 391,836,509 Shares bei RMR. Das wäre eine Marktkapitalisierung von nicht einmal 13 Mio AUD. Dafür, dass die Explorationsgebiete von RMR im Gebiet mit den größten REE-Resourcen der Welt liegen (Quelle: http://www.ramresources.com.au/motzfedlt.asp ) sehe ich da sehr hohes Nachholpotential.

witzig, bin seit heute auch dabei. war'n tipp von monsieurcb. der wird diesem thread bestimmt auch noch beiwohnen.

ich halte diesen wert - obwohl die ressourcengröße noch nicht genau feststeht - für vielversprechender, als die benachbarte ggg (greenland minerals) aufgrund der weniger radioaktiven grundsubstanzen (uran) - also primär tantal,niob und - mein vorrangiges investitionsziel - rare earth elements.

ich spekuliere bei diesem wert auf eine zukünftige rohstoffnation grönland, die m.e. gar nicht anders kann, als irgendwann aus ihrem arbeitslosigkeitsverseuchten dornröschenschlaf zu erwachen und ihr eigenes potenzial voll zu entfalten. denn hier schlummern die gewaltigsten rohstoffreserben EUROPAS ! wer hätte das gedacht ?

Hallo zusammen! Schön, dass mein Tipp aufgegriffen wurde und dieser thread loslegt.
Aber ich warne vor allzuviel Euphorie: Alle Probleme, die für Greenland gelten, treffen auch auf RAM zu (http://www.ramresources.com.au/). Solange das Uran-Thema in Grönland nicht politisch geklärt ist, liegt alles buchstäblich auf Eis - und ich könnte mir lebhaft vorstellen, dass alle Naturschützer der Welt versuchen werden, hier einmal die Umwelt über die Interessen des Kommerz zu stellen. We'll see ... wer sich übrigens immer wieder mal aus erster Hand informieren will, dem empfehle ich die interessante Website http://asxguru.com.au/ - hier taucht RAM bereits mehrfach auf.

Übrigens, noch etwas: Die Abbau-Bedingungen in Grönland sind natürlich schon rein klimatisch ein Kapitel für sich und ohnehin ist jegliche Tätigkeit auf die kurze Sommerphase beschränkt ... aber das RAM-Gebiet liegt auch noch auf einem Hochplateau - praktisch in Gipfellage.

Anyway - die derzeitige (teils blinde) Rare Earth-Euphorie wird uns schon noch auf erfreuliche Höhen tragen ... allen Engagierten viel Glück & Erfolg!

Also soweit ich mich erinnere hatte der CCE.V President, D. Hodge, mal in SH geschrieben, dass, u.a., Ihnen das Motzfeld Projekt auch mal angeboten wurde, er aber keinerlei Interesse hatte, da es entweder einfach zu Early Stage lastig ist, oder es auch konkrete Bedenkenspunkte gab. Welches von beiden zutraf, dummerweise dann der relevanteste Punkt, weiss ich leider nicht mehr richtig. Aber könnte man ja anschreiben, den Mann.

Accordingto the independent research organization Roskill, based inLondon, this deposit ranks 7th in the world when measured by the size of theresource and third in terms of grade. Most currently exploited tantalum oresgrade below 300 ppm (parts per million).

Tantalumis mainly used for electric capacitors for miniature electronic devices,particularly3Gmobile phones. The second significant application is in specialalloys. CabotCorporation, one of the world’s two major consumersof the metal is one of the main shareholders of Angus & Ross and holds 4.52%of the stock.

In 2005-2006 fieldseason Angus& Ross plc was conducting further exploration ofthis deposit with assistance of geologists from St Andrews University,Scotland. (...)

Geologen machen Hoffnung

Die Hoffnungen der Geologen liegen vor allem auf Grönland und Kanada: Dort könnten in uranhaltigem Gestein riesige Mengen an Seltenen Erden stecken. Ein Areal im grönländischen Kvanefjeld könne bis zu 100.000 Tonnen Seltene Erden pro Jahr abwerfen, berichtet Elsner. Die Menge kommt der derzeitigen Gesamtproduktion Chinas von 130.000 Tonnen pro Jahr erstaunlich nahe. Die Produktion in Grönland könne jedoch frühestens in fünf Jahren beginnen, sagt Elsner.

Greenland Minerals wartet momentan auf die grönländische Parlamentsanhörung zur Änderung der "no uranium policy", da das alte dänische Gesetz noch in Kraft ist.

Auf folgender Homepage steht, dass die Sitzungsperiode in Grönland momentan läuft.

Ein positiver Ausgang der Anhörung, welcher in einem "uranfreundlicherem" Beschluss enden könnte, sollte Greenland Minerals und seinen Nachbarn RAM Res. ordentlich Vorschub geben. Natürlich kann das ganze auch nach hinten losgehen! ... jedenfalls sollte man sich auf gewisse Kursschwankungen in nächster Zeit einrichten.

Keine Kauf-/Verkaufsempfehlung ... nur Info!

also ich bei auch dabei.
Müßen halt warten bis die Bohrergenisse in ca 14 Tagen kommen sehe hier aber
auf 2-3 Jahren und wenn die Grönländer der Förderung zustimmen was wachsen.
Wenn sich die REE - Preise weiter nach oben entwickeln müßte es was werden.
Könnte evnet. so kommen wir bei GGG.

Some recent relaxing of government policies has seen GGG go through a re-rating. Below is an excerpt from their announcement re positives changes to the thinking of local government on this issue:

Greenland Minerals and Energy Ltd is pleased to advise that an amendment has been made by the Government of Greenland to the Standard Terms for Exploration Licenses that allows for the inclusion of radioactive elements as exploitable minerals for the purpose of thorough evaluation and reporting. The change comes after an ongoing dialogue between the Greenland government and Company representatives. This critical development now provides a clear framework for the Companys Kvanefjeld multi-element project (rare earth elements, uranium and zinc) to proceed to development via the completion of a definitive feasibility study (bankable) conducted in close cooperation with the Greenland government and stakeholder groups.

The new amendment to the standard terms allows the Bureau of Minerals and Petroleum (BMP) to approve that comprehensive feasibility studies can be undertaken on mineral projects that include radioactive elements as exploitable minerals. Within this framework, projects are considered on a case by case basis, at the government�s discretion. GMEL lodged an application at 4.00pm Greenland time on the 9th September under these new regulations and, based on previous discussions, confidently expects its application to be approved in due course.
Path to an Exploitation License
Currently, under the Mineral Resources Act an application for an exploitation license is lodged following the completion of a definitive feasibility study. A licensee who has discovered and delimited a commercially exploitable deposit that does not contain radioactive elements above background concentrations, and who has otherwise met the terms of the license, is automatically entitled to be granted an exploitation license.
Following the introduction of the new amendment, the issuance of an exploitation license for a project that contains radioactive elements would depend primarily on the outcomes of comprehensive feasibility studies, with an emphasis on health, safety and the environment. In the case of Kvanefjeld, if the government is satisfied that all health, safety and environmental requirements can be met, then an exploitation license can be issued to develop an operation that will produce REEs, uranium and zinc.
Significantly, in addition to the new amendments that allow for project evaluation on a case-by-case basis, a comprehensive review into the exploration and exploitation of radioactive elements was announced on June 28th by the Minister for Industry and Raw Materials Mr Ove Karl Berthelsen. The review process involves the generation of comprehensive information by groups including the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS), the National Environmental Institute of Denmark (NERI), the National Laboratory, and the Ray Hygienic Institute.
This information will then to be distributed to the public through print, television and radio media in the coming months. In addition, a delegation from the Greenland government is scheduled to visit Ottawa to learn about the regulatory framework of uranium mining in Canada, as well as visiting a uranium mine in Saskatchewan, one of the world�s most sophisticated mining jurisdictions, to learn more about the exploration and mining of radioactive elements.

Übrigens fast die gleiche Performance wie zuvor schon bei Matamec (+23,3) und Ucore (+27,9%)in NAFTA!... die Schnäppchenjäger sind also auch schon da ... jetzt fehlen hier noch die Banken

Habe noch schön unten an der Kante bei 2.7-2.8 in AUS zugeschnappt.
Scheint mir nach unten hin ein vernünftiges Maß gewesen zu sein.
Die ganze REE-Geschichte ist mittlerweile schon ziemlich hochgekocht...
Wenn Speigel, FTD, Handelsbaltt, Stern und sogar RTL über seltene Erden berichtet, sollte dass zur Mahnung aufrufen.
Daher ist es nicht ganz so einfach, noch günstig bewertete Unternehmen zu finden. Aufmerksam bin ich durch H(N)euschreck geworden und habe mich dann mit Dirkx abgestimmt. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle...
Sollte das grönländische Parlament die Umweltbedenken lockern und die Bohrergebnisse Aufmerksamkeit erzeugen, so kann das kleine Büdchen hier ordentlich durchstarten. Die Aquisitionen der letzten Wochen durch Instis und die Aktienausgabe statt Geld an GGG stimmt da doch sehr zuversichtlich. Weitere Lizenz-Aquisitionen, bzw. Genehmigungen dürften ordentlich Zunder bereit halten.

Eine Woche lang habe ich versucht einen Weg zu finden, in AUS auch die RMRO zu kaufen...mit meinen Depots ein hoffnungsloses Unterfangen.
Kann da jemand helfen?

Über meien Volksbank/Fiducia kann ich problemlos auch in Australien kaufen ... da lohnt sich übrigens auch ein Blick auf REED (AU000000RDR5), NORTHERN URANIUM (AU000000NTU4), NAVIGATOR (AU000000NAV2), KORAB (AU000000KOR7), HOT CHILI (AU000000HCH9), ECHO (AU000000EAR9) und ARTEMIS (AU000000ARV3).

Bin mit Greenland, Ram und Hudson (!) auch gut dabei in Grönland ... wenn da erst mal politisch alles geklärt ist, sehen wir einer glänzenden Zukunft entgegen.

Ach ja, noch ein Tipp: TORCH RIVER (CA8910221057)und ARGENTEX (US04012E1073) ... lohnend!

Ja bin auch dabei bei RMR und Artimis, Echo wurde ganz groß
empfohlen aber Artimis sitzt auch dicke mit ihren Yandal Projekt mitten drin.
Hier darf man in den nächsten Monaten auch was erwarten.
RMR sollte aber auch noch kommen mit ihren REE Lager und wenn die Bohrberichte
kommen ja warten wir mal ab.

Am 25.11.2011 (vor zwei Tagen) fand die Hauptversammlung statt.

Bescheinigt, dass alle an einem Strang ziehen. Selten solch einstimmige Abstimmungsergebnisse gesehen.
Auffällig fand ich, dass am Mittag der Hauptversammlung, an der ASX auf einmal ordentliche Kursbewegungen/Volumen in den Titel kam. Ich wusste gar nicht wie mir geschah, da ich ein paar Minuten zuvor bei 2,8c nochmal aufgestockt hatte und der Kurs dann plötzlich um über 30% angesprungen ist. Der Kurs ist danach wieder auf 3c zurück gekommen.

Jeden Tag können die erwarteten mind. 3 Bohrergebnisse veröffentlicht werden.
Laut Präsentation werden diese Ergebnisse noch im November veröffentlicht...(muss aber nichts heissen, bei unseren lieben Explorerfreunden)
In anderen Foren kann man lesen, dass die Bohrkerne sichtbare Mineralisierungen aufgewiesen haben....
Auch weitere Aquisitionen/Genehmigungen sollen auf dem Weg sein.

Für einen besseren Überblick ist das letzte Quarterly sehr lesenswert:

Für mich ist hier alles zu 3c, bzw. darunter ein klarer Kauf.
Daher habe ich in den letzten Tagen schön unten an der Kante bei 2.7-2.8 in AUS zugeschnappt.
Scheint mir nach unten hin ordentlich abgesichert zu sein.
Die ganze REE-Geschichte ist mittlerweile schon ziemlich hochgekocht...
Wenn Spiegel, FTD, Handelsblatt, Stern und sogar RTL über seltene Erden berichten, sollte dass zur Mahnung aufrufen.
Daher ist es nicht ganz so einfach, noch günstig bewertete Unternehmen aus dem REE-Bereich zu finden. Aufmerksam bin ich durch H(N)euschreck geworden und habe mich dann auch mit Dirkx abgestimmt. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle...

Sollte das grönländische Parlament die Umweltbedenken lockern und die Bohrergebnisse Aufmerksamkeit erzeugen, so kann das kleine Büdchen hier ordentlich durchstarten. Die Aquisitionen der letzten Wochen durch Instis und die Aktienausgabe statt Geld an GGG stimmt da doch sehr zuversichtlich. Weitere Lizenz-Aquisitionen, bzw. Genehmigungen dürften ordentlich Zunder bereit halten.

Mich reizen besonders die RMRO.
Leider kann ich diese über meine Broker nicht beziehen.
Wer hat eine Lösung parat? (würde mich sehr freuen)

Ram Resources (RMR) – Insider Buying Or Bubble Fear Overcome?

Ram Resources (RMR) is a stock that I posted about back in late October when the share price jumped sharply on what appeared to be insider buying. The next day there was a strong open and a high of 4.1c was made but then there was a drastic sell off. I warned about the volatile nature of the stock and my warning was proven correct unfortunately.

Since then the share price has fallen to lows of 2.5c and has pretty much been range bound. An upper resistance level at 2.9c was formed and a floor was made at 2.5c. Today the share price broke through that upper resistance level and closed at the day’s high of 3.2c for a 23% gain. There was also a sizeable jump in trading volume.

The chart now suggests that there is more upside in the near future. The break past the resistance line at 2.9c is a buy signal.

What prompted the break today has me guessing, as it could just be the market realising that there is no bubble in rare earth stocks. Somebody picked up the idea that the price rises were false, and unfortunately the media swallowed it hook line and sinker. Countless news articles and opinion pieces warning of the price bubble resulted in a sell off in all listed rare earth stocks. Some dropped significantly.

Today there were a large number of listed rare earth explorers that performed reasonably well in what was a very quiet market. Perhaps it was the news of Lynas Corp securing a major deal with a Japanese trading company that made people snap out of it. Ram Resources was one of those stocks that benefited from the renewed interest.

There are other possible explanations for today’s breakout in Ram Resources share price. This recently released investor presentation mentions that drilling results are due by the end of November. Also as my previous post mentioned, a speeding ticket referred to the possibility of the company making further acquisitions in the near future.

So today’s jump could be the result a number of possibilities. It could be that insiders are buying up ahead of drilling results or other news that the company is about to announce. Or it could just be a re-appraisal from the market as people start to realise that there is no bubble in rare earth prices.

dysprosium, erbium and holmium are on the heavy end (HREE), which I believe are currently the more sort after rare earths.

These are the drill results in the form of a mineralogical study of the core samples, I'd imagine the assays will follow in the near future.


Jack Lifton, one of the most famous REE-Gurus, said that dysprosium will be the REE of the century.
His favorite is Ucore Metals (very cheap, TSX:UCU, infrastructure just finished).

Geschichte [Bearbeiten]

Dysprosium1886 gelang dem Franzosen P.E. Lecoq de Boisbaudran die Isolierung von Dysprosiumoxid aus einer Probe Holmiumoxid, das man bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch für eine einheitliche Substanz gehalten hatte. Da die chemischen Eigenschaften der Lanthanoide sehr ähnlich sind und sie in der Natur stets vergesellschaftet vorkommen, war auch hier eine Unterscheidung nur mit sehr aufwändigen Analysemethoden möglich. Sein Anteil am Aufbau der Erdkruste wird mit 0,00042 Gewichtsprozent angegeben. Die Ausgangsmaterialien sind Monazit und Bastnäsit.

Gewinnung und Darstellung [Bearbeiten]
Nach einer aufwändigen Abtrennung der anderen Dysprosiumbegleiter wird das Oxid mit Fluorwasserstoff zum Dysprosiumfluorid umgesetzt. Anschließend wird mit Calcium unter Bildung von Calciumfluorid zum metallischen Dysprosium reduziert. Abtrennung verbleibender Calciumreste und Verunreinigungen erfolgen in einer zusätzlichen Umschmelzung im Vakuum. Nach einer Destillation im Hochvakuum gelangt man zum hochreinen Dysprosium.

Eigenschaften [Bearbeiten]
Dysprosium ist ein silbergraues Schwermetall, das bieg- und dehnbar ist. Von dem Metall der seltenen Erden existieren zwei Modifikationen: Bei 1384 °C wandelt sich α-Dysprosium (hexagonal-dichtest) in β-Dysprosium (kubisch-raumzentriert) um.

Das Metall ist sehr unedel und daher sehr reaktionsfähig. An der Luft überzieht es sich mit einer Oxidschicht, in Wasser wird es langsam unter Hydroxidbildung angegriffen, in verdünnten Säuren wird es unter Wasserstoffbildung zu Salzen gelöst.

Verwendung [Bearbeiten]
Wirtschaftliche und technische Bedeutung von Dysprosium sind relativ gering. So wird seine Fördermenge auf weniger als 100 Tonnen pro Jahr geschätzt. Es findet Verwendung in verschiedenen Legierungen, in Spezialmagneten und mit Blei legiert als Abschirmmaterial in Kernreaktoren. Jedoch gerade die Verwendung in den Magneten für Windkraftanlagen hat diese Metalle der seltenen Erden zum raren Rohstoff gemacht, zudem drosselt der weltweit größte Lieferant China seine Lieferung um die eigene Wertschöpfung zu erhöhen.

Weitere Anwendungen:

Zusammen mit Vanadium und anderen Elementen wird Dysprosium zur Herstellung von Laserwerkstoffen genutzt.
Dysprosium wird zum Dotieren von Calciumfluorid- und Calciumsulfatkristallen für Dosimeter verwendet.
Terbium- und dysprosiumhaltige Legierungen zeigen eine starke Magnetostriktion und werden in der Materialprüftechnik eingesetzt.
In Neodym-Eisen-Bor-Magneten erhöht es die Koerzitivität und erweitert den nutzbaren Temperaturbereich.
Dysprosiumoxid verbessert das dielektrische Verhalten von Bariumtitanat für Kondensatoren.
Vereinzelt wird es wegen seines hohen Einfangquerschnittes für thermischen Neutronen zur Herstellung von Regelstäben in der Kerntechnik verwendet.
Dysprosium verbessert das Emissionspektrum von Hochleistungshalogenlampen.
Dysprosium-Cadmium-Chalkogenide dienen als Infrarotquelle zur Untersuchung von chemischen Reaktionen.

Enttäuschend. Jetzt ist klar, warum da so ins BID geschmissen wurde. Undichte Stellen des Managements. Insider sellings. Da habe ich in diesem Maße keine Lust drauf. Hab die Hälfte heute Nacht zum Einstandskurs verkauft. Der Rest bleibt erst mal drin.

warum ist dies enttaeuschend? die zahlen sind definitiv gut:dies ist ein explorer,den man vor allem langfristig betrachten sollte.zukaufmoeglichkeit ist doch prima.(je nach risikobereitschaft investitionsvolumen max. ca. 5% in einen explorerwert)
der hurrican hatte offenbar auch probleme bereitet, naechste 'exploration' ab ca. juni naechsten jahres.zeit ist also mehr als genug.

If it’s the case of the later, then it would serve them right for trading on inside information.

I still like the stock but it may take time to recover as the large sell order at 3c may hold down the share price down for some time, despite the good results that the company has announced."

... nee, verguckt. Hatte bei Kvanefjeld irgendwas um 0,4% (=4000ppm) im Kopf. Sind aber nach Aussage von GGG ca. 1-1,2%

Kann jemand die Ta+Nb-Gehalte einschätzen?

Friday, December 03, 2010 by Proactive Investors From a four hole drilling program, Ram Resources (ASX: RMR) has intercepted high grade rare earths (REE) including 25 metres at 5,031 ppm total rare earth oxides (TREO) and 20 metres at 4,852 ppm TREO at the Aries Prospect, located within the Motzfeldt Project in southern Greenland.

Three holes were completed, a fourth was partially completed before drill operations were suspended due to Hurricane Igor.

Significantly, there is evidence of a new REE mineralised zone which is distinct from the Tantalum and Niobium mineralised zone confirmed by independent consultants SRK Consulting on December 2.

TREO composition is typically 85% light rare earth oxides and 5% heavy rare earth oxides and 10% Y2O3.

The high grade niobium-tantalum results include 40m @2,499 ppm Nb205 and 195 ppm Ta205.

In addition, a number of distinct high-grade Ta-Nb and REE lenses of mineable width have been interpreted which contain potentially economic mineralisation.

A total of 3 holes were completed, with a fourth hole partially completed before drilling operations were suspended, and ultimately abandoned as a result of the impact of Hurricane Igor, which affected all of Southern Greenland and the Atlantic coast of Canada.

The holes were drilled in a line east to west across the mineralised zone, adding to several drill holes previously completed on the same line.

The key outcome for the 2011 season, which commences in June, will be to gather sufficient data to estimate a JORC compliant Inferred Mineral Resource at Aries.

The 2011 exploration program is planning 4,000m of diamond drilling for about 16-18 holes which will mainly target the north south strike extensions of the main mineralised zone at Aries.

The program intends to extend the drilled strike length to 1,500m with possibly 2 holes drilled further to the west to test the concept a high grade REE zone that is distinct from the main Ta-Nb central zone.

It also plans to increase the coverage of ground geophysics and geological mapping before the drill programme commences which should provide additional data to assist in the targeting of drill holes.

Further mineralogical analysis and metallurgical test work from samples at Aries are also planned at the end of the field season.

Ram will also carry out further reconnaissance exploration at targets on the main Motzfeldt licence 2010/46, and also first pass evaluation on the larger licence 2010/09 (which surrounds 2010/46).

The company expects EL 2010/09 to be granted by the end of 2010.

Olaf, enttäuschend deshalb, weil ich persönlich (anscheinend auch andere) eine ganz andere Zusammensetzung/Verhältnis von LREE zu HREE erwartet haben.
Enttäuschend auch, wie da durch offensichtlich undichte Stellen herumgespielt wurde.

Done some calculations on the grades to get them back to in ground $ value

My assumptions are 2 zones one of Nb (2500 ppm) and Ta (195 PPM) The other zone is TREO (5000 ppm) composed mainly LREE La (45%) Ce (25%) and Nd (15%) as well as Yt (10%) The HREE component is 5%

I have assumed that 5000 PPM is about 5 Kg per tonne.

My calculations are based on for example Nb is currently worth $60 per Kg. 2500 ppm Nb is 2.5 Kg times $60 = $150 per tonne.
The other major and minor elements can be calculated in a similar way

For the Nb-Ta zones the value is $170 per tonne
For the TREO the value is $33o per tonne

Based on current prices the total in ground value is $500 per tonne. Converted to a gold ore body its about 11 g/t

It now depends on the size to see if it is economical

These grades are promising. Yes the TREO grades are on the low side however the depth of the holes must be taken into account.

The Nb and Ta grades are very good. 2499ppm Nb is a great result, compare this to the GGG grades which were max 424ppm. Ta grades of 195ppm compare very favourably to the GGG grades of of 22. Ich habe die aktuell publizierten Seltenerdkonzentrationen Motzfeld verglichen mit denen vom Kvanefjeld, zu sehen auf der Unternehmensseite unter Story/Company-Presentation/Seite 29 Verteilung in % pro Seltenerdoxid. Im direkten Vergleich können sich die Konzentrationen mehr als sehen lassen! Bei Gadolinium, Dysprosium,Ytterbium signifikant bessere Werte. Auf der Unternehmensseite unter dem Reiter Rare earth elements und dort unter Rare earth Elements at Kvanefjeld wiederum zeigt sich, wie Greenland res. auf 14% schwere seltene Erden im Deposit kommt: 14% sind die schweren inclusive!! Yttrium. So gesehen komme ich im Vergleich zu den aktuell vorgelegten Daten von RAM res. incl. Yttrium auf 15,6%.
Kann die Seiten leider nicht hier einstellen, deshalb die Hinweise wo zu finden. Habe es nicht hinbekommen, die o.g. Stellen zu kopieren und einzufügen? Hoffe den ein- oder anderen Ergebnis-Enttäuschten damit zu beruhigen. Die Ergebnisse sind m.M.n. nicht schlechter, eher besser als die von Greenland, wenngleich ich auch dort investiert bin.

Dabei sollte man nicht vergessen dass - nach Ansicht der Präsentation - nur außerchinesische Kapazitäten von Lynas und MCP berücksichtigt werden.

... selbst dann geht es maximal pari/pari zwischen RMR und GGG aus. Jetzt muss jeder für sich entscheiden, ob REE oder REE+Ta+Nb besser laufen wird ... unter Berücksichtigung, dass man für REE+Ta+Nb eine noch Komplexere Separationsanlage benötigt ... wo ARU die REE-Anlage schon grob 1Mrd. kostet.

Ich bleibe bei RMR weiter dabei ... aber eher wegen den NEWS, da die MCap sich auch mit zunehmenden Bohrergebnissen und besserer Bewertung der vorhanden Ressource nach oben schrauben wird.

Oder glaubt jemand, dass Motzfeld bei RMR mit einer MCap von 6,82Mio USD fair bewertet ist? Da kommt noch einiges dazu.

Danke für die ausführlichen INFORMATIONEN! Fühle mich ganz und gar nicht angegriffen. Im Gegenteil. Die Rechnerei überlasse ich gerne ein paar von Euch, die das besser hinbekommen......Den Vererzungsgrad bei RAM habe ich nicht beachtet. Vielleicht bieten ja die noch anstehenden Bohrergebnisse der nächsten Saison positive Überraschungen. Haltet Ihr denn für möglich, dass RAM und Greenland die Verarbeitungsanlage zusammen bauen, nachdem jetzt schon eine Vereinbarung bzgl. der Bohrtechnik getroffen wurde.
Ansonsten, beim derzeitigen Preis und auf Sicht von ein paar Jahren, werden wir auch hier noch deutlich zulegen. Der Weg ist das Ziel. Habe ja auch noch Lynas und Alkane und Greenland und Quantum und Geovic....
Freue mich auf regen Informationsaustausch unter Euch und werde mich ab und an auch mal dazutrauen.

Ram Resources completes tranche one placement, raises A$1m for working capital

Ram Resources (ASX: RMR) has raised A$1 million by completing tranche one of its proposed placement of 50 million ordinary shares at $0.02 each for general working capital.

The shares are with a free attaching listed option on a one for one basis, exercisable at $0.03 each on or before 30 March 2012 (in the same class as the existing RMRO listed options) to clients of Indian Ocean Capital.

25 million (50%) of the free attaching listed options were issued. Tranche two, comprising the remaining 25 million options will be issued subject to shareholder approval.

On January 27 Ram's trenching results at the Motzfeldt Project in Southern Greenland pointed to higher rare earth mineralisation.

The key outcome for the 2011 exploration program, which commences in June, will be to gather sufficient data to estimate a JORC compliant Inferred Mineral Resource at the Aries target.

Ram Resources is currently trading at $0.021.

Ram Resources defines new rare earths targets at Motzfeldt in Greenland

Tuesday, September 06, 2011 by Jeff Coote Ram has identified significant mineralisation over extensive areas of the Voskop and Drysdale targets from sampling at the Motzfeldt multi element Project in South Greenland. Ram aims to achieve an initial JORC Resource at the Aries Prospect in late November. Ram Resources (ASX: RMR) has revealed significant mineralisation over extensive areas from sampling at the Voskop and Drysdale high priority exploration targets within its 51% owned Motzfeldt Project in South Greenland.

More than 500 samples were taken across 12 targets on exploration licence 2011/24. Results show anomalous high grade mineralisation at Drysdale occurs over a distance of 1.4 kilometres.

The best preliminary results include 11,110 parts per million (ppm) Light Rare Earth Oxides (LREO) + Yttrium Oxide (Y2O3), 14,168 ppm Niobium pentoxide (Nb2O5), 275 ppm Tantalum Pentoxide (Ta2O5) and 4.36% zirconium oxychloride (ZrO).

Anomalous high grade mineralisation at Voskop occurs over a distance of 1.2 kilometres with best preliminary results of 9,375 ppm LREO+Y2O31, 3,302 ppm Nb2O5, 225 ppm Ta2O5 and 4.17% ZrO2.

Importantly, these results confirm the prospectivity of targets within the Motzfeldt Centre outside of Ram’s Aries prospect. The targets lie within the northern and eastern parts of exploration licence.

Mineralisation at Drysdale and Voskop occurs along a similar distance to that at Aries which is currently being drilled.

The regional reconnaissance program has now been completed and preliminary sample results from XRF analysis in the field have been received for most of the targets.

Of the 12 targets visited, Voskop and Drysdale have shown the most promise, with several others, including Dorper and Black Ram, also returning anomalous results which are worthy of further follow-up.

A review of all of the targets will be conducted after laboratory results have been received and analysed, which is expected around the end of October 2011.

Ram expects to complete about 10 drill holes at the Aries Prospect by the second week of September 2011 and results are due mid to late October.

Upon receiving results, an initial JORC Resource will be conducted by SRK consulting, which is expected at the end of November.

Ram Resources eyes gold prize with exploration near the massive Telfer mine

Ram Resources (ASX: RMR) reminded the market today in an update that the company has a very strategically well placed gold tenement in Western Australia, which is wholly owned and known as Triangle Dome.

Although the tenement is in its exploration infancy, they could not be better placed being just over 20 kilometres east of Newcrest Mining's (ASX: NCM) massive Telfer mine.

Where the excitement starts for Ram is the nearby neighbour of Telfer is forecast to produce 621,000 gold ounces in financial year 2011, with Newcrest already indicating a A$20 million plus exploration budget at the site for financial year 2012.

Telfer is reported to contain reserves of around 13.2 million gold ounces and 510,000 tonnes of contained copper.

Therefore any sniff of exploration success by Ram will no doubt boost the investor interest in the stock.

Ram will kick off exploration at the tenements by mapping to validate the structural theory, along with the re-logging of some historical holes drilled by Newcrest.

Ram Resources (ASX: RMR) has shifted focus to Greenland, and as the company awaits results from its 2011 field season, the northern European the ice-covered island could be about to become the Perth-based firm’s golden goose.

For some mining companies the search never ends, with many exploration teams travelling to the four corners of the globe in attempting to find the resources that will put their firms on the map. For one Western Australian firm that search has led into the depths of southern Greenland, and it looks like their efforts are set to pay off.

Perth-based Ram Resources, listed in 2006, previously explored for minerals in Australia and South America before it acquired the Motzfeldt Project in Greenland in 2010.

“Our aim is to become a major player in the Greenland mining industry,” confirms managing director Mike Drew.

Closer inspection of the Motzfeldt site clearly determines why the company has elevated the play to ‘key project’ status. Located near the town of Narsarsuaq in South Greenland , Motzfeldt is a true multi-element project, which hosts tantalum, niobium, rare earth elements (REE) and Zircon mineralisation.

“Aries, the key target at Motzfeldt, has been estimated to have an exploration potential of between 200 to 500 million tonnes of Ta-Nb-REE-Zr minimisation,” Drew explains.

“Further work is required to convert this exploration target into a JORC complaint mineral resource.”

In addition to Aries, the company has also established further high-priority exploration targets at Merino, Romney, Voskop and Drysdale prospects—all of which, Drew says, have shown great promise for the same multi-element style mineralisation located within seven to eight kilometres of Aries.

“If some of the exploration potential of Aries can be converted into mineral resources, Ram Resources believes it could have the potential of a world-class project on its hands,” Drew reveals.

Remote access

Working in the great expanses of some of the globe’s most remote islands is no easy task—especially where exploration dollars are concerned—but it looks like Motzfeldt is a project that warrants the effort.

“There is no doubt that raising funds for exploration in this type of market is challenging,” says Drew. “But we have ensured our fixed overheads are low by making great use of consultants and advisors who are contracted for the relatively short exploration field season at Motzfeldt.”

The company’s Greenland adventure has differentiated Ram Resources from peer firms across Australia by bringing to market an intriguing range of materials, all of which appear to continually weather stormy times for various commodity brackets.

“While stock markets have been very volatile, we have seen the commodities that we are looking at remain at high levels over the past two years,” Drew notes.

“We feel, however, that REE and to a lesser extent Ta prices, will fall to more sustainable levels over the next three to five years as the supply-demand balance evens out and new producers come online.

“We also feel that the long-term demand for these commodities will remain strong, albeit with some market fluctuations,” he adds.

Recent activities

As 2011 draws to a close, it has proved to be a defining year for Ram Resources. The company recently completed its 2011 field season with the majority of the collected samples sent to the laboratory for assessment. More than 600 surface and stream sediment samples were taken, with more than 980 metres of drilling completed over 600 metres of strike length.

“We are expecting assay results during November,” reveals Drew.

“Our consultants, SRK, are going to compile all the data into a 3D model with the aim of producing the maiden [JORC] resource for Aries, which we hope will take place during the early part of December.”

As the team’s activities in Greenland gain traction, the company is now looking to invest time and energy into ensuring its future plans are duly mapped out.
“Our first target is to establish the maiden inferred resource for Ram this year and then taking that information to expand the resource base during 2012 and 2013,” Drew reveals.

“We are also moving forward with some basic metallurgical test work during early 2012.”

Over the next 24 months the company will look at a scoping study, to place some economic parameters on Aries and provide guidance for future feasibility studies.

“In the longer term we will be looking at the feasibility of the Aries project and possibly some of the other targets in the area that could become satellite operations,” affirms Drew.

“However, we have to recognise that this stage is a few years away for Ram and is dependent upon continued exploration success.”

As Ram Resources anticipates the results of this year’s field season, and Aries looks likely to provide great encouragement, the firm is also looking to implement plans for its other Greenland sites.

“We hope to be able to advance the other exploration targets with the project area in 2012 and beyond with the likely focus being Voskop and Drysdale,” says Drew.

The team is looking at possible reconnaissance drilling on both of these targets in 2012—among the various other efforts geared towards identifying quite how significant a world-class project it may have on its books—and with further work dependent upon more positive results, it looks like it could be a couple of very busy years for Ram Resources; a rising star in Greenland mining.

BHP strikes deal with nickel star Sirius
Date March 2, 2015 - 4:15PM

Nickel developer Sirius Resources has struck a deal with BHP Billiton to supply nickel concentrate to the mining major's Nickel West business.

In a move that could ease a shortage of nickel supply at BHP's Kalgoorlie smelter, Sirius will deliver half of the nickel sulphide concentrate produced at its Nova mine to BHP for three years beginning in late 2016.

The deal will allow Sirius to split its nickel sales between two customers, and the company will also be able to sell copper concentrate from the Nova mine to another customer.
The commercial terms of the deal were not made public on Monday morning, but Sirius boss Mark Bennett said the deal was "attractive".


"We are pleased to have secured such an attractive offtake deal for half of our planned nickel production," he said.

BHP's nickel smelter at Kalgoorlie has been operating below capacity in recent years, meaning its cost base has been higher than desired.
Sourcing more feedstock from other miners has been seen as a way to lower the costs of running the smelter.
BHP sought to sell its Nickel West business last year but could not find a buyer that would offer an acceptable price.
Last week BHP chief executive Andrew Mackenzie confirmed a $US290 million impairment against the asset and said BHP would continue running the asset in the near term.
But the long-term future of the business is unclear.

The Nova mine is set to be Sirius' first, and the deposit was only discovered in the Fraser Range region of WA in July 2012.
The Fraser Range has since become an exploration hotspot, and Fairfax Media revealed last year that Brazilian giant Vale has started exploring the region.

Exploration Update


Ram Resources (ASX: RMR) (Ram or the Company) is pleased to provide an update on the three
exploration programs currently underway across its suite of projects.
At the Fraser Range South nickel project in WA, Ram is about to embark on an infill soil sampling program
to follow up promising results. This will be done on a 200m x 200m grid over a 19sqkm area (Attachment 1).
Fraser Range South hosts several priority soil anomalies within the ultramafic units of the Fraser Range.
Ram aims to refine these targets with the soil sampling program ahead of further ground EM.

In light of this prospectivity, Ram is pleased to advise that it has secured a 12-month extension to the date
by which it has to make its second option payment on Fraser Range South. As a result, Ram now has until
November 19, 2016 to pay $200,000 cash and $500,000 in shares. Following payment of this option, Ram
will own 100 per cent of the base metals and Platinum Group Elements (PGE) of..........

Hallo hbg55
Weißt du was da los ist? Am 04.11.16 gab es einen Split 1:0,05. Die Aktienanzahl in meinem Depot ist aber immernoch diesselbe und seit dem 03.11.16 wird der Wert in Deutschland nicht mehr gehandelt. News kann ich auch keine finden, weder auf der Ram Hompage noch sonstwo. Wahrscheinlich egal, der Krempel ist eh nix mehr wert, aber interessieren würde es mich doch.....
