Ian Gordon: Ich denke schon.

The Gold Report: Und das dritte?

PRESS RELEASE: ATLANTA GOLD ANNOUNCES NEW RESOURCE ESTIMATE FROM THE 2010 EXPLORATION PROGRAM AT ITS ATLANTA PROPERTY IN IDAHO ATG.V ATLDF.PK - DJN
      06-Jan-2011 18:35
PRESS RELEASE: ATLANTA GOLD ANNOUNCES NEW RESOURCE ESTIMATE FROM THE 2010 EXPLORATION PROGRAM AT ITS ATLANTA PROPERTY IN IDAHO
TORONTO, Jan. 6 /CNW/ - Atlanta Gold Inc. (TSX V: ATG) announces that P&E Mining Consultants Inc. ("P&E") of Brampton, Ontario has completed an independent updated resource estimate on the Company's Atlanta property in Idaho, USA. The estimate incorporates all drilling results to date, including the recently completed 48-hole 39,000-foot diamond drill program and meets current NI 43-101 reporting standards for mineral resource disclosure. P&E estimates the Indicated mineral resource to be 450,600 gold ounces within 3.27 million tons at an average grade of 0.138 ounces per ton ("opt") (4.73 grams per tonne) ("gpt") and the Inferred mineral resource to contain 284,600 gold ounces within 1.56 million tons at an average grade of 0.183 opt (6.27 gpt Au). The increased resource is primarily due to extensions to the known Atlanta Shear Zone identified in the 2010 surface drilling program. A cut-off grade of 0.04 opt gold (1.37 gpt Au) was used for the open-pit resource and a cut-off grade of 0.09 opt gold (3.09 gpt Au) was used for the underground resource. P&E also estimates a total Indicated mineral resource of 466,000 gold equivalent ("AuEq") ounces and 290,000 total AuEq ounces in the Inferred category, with AuEq ounces calculated using a gold to silver price ratio of 77.6:1. Full particulars are as set out in the table below. A National Instrument 43-101 compliant Technical Report will be available on SEDAR and the Company's website within 45 days of this news release. The resource was estimated on the basis of the November 30, 2010 two-year trailing average US$ metal prices of $1,075 per ounce of gold and $16.61 per ounce of silver with mill recoveries of 90% and 75% respectively. Prevailing metal prices at December 31, 2010 were US$1,422 per ounce of gold and US$30.91 per ounce of silver.
"The current resource estimate increases the total gold equivalent mineral resource at Atlanta by 59% over the previously reported March 2009 Measured and Indicated resource of 474,900 gold equivalent ounces and significantly surpasses our previously stated 2010 year-end goal of 600,000 gold equivalent ounces", said Bill Baird, President and CEO of the Company. "This increase was achieved at an aggregate discovery or development cost of approximately US$34.50 per ounce of gold. The increased mineral resource will form the basis of a Preliminary Economic Assessment to be completed in the near future and is expected to result in a significant increase in value for our shareholders. It also confirms the potential to increase the gold content per vertical foot and the economic potential of the Atlanta Shear Zone through additional drilling. We plan to complete up to 60,000 feet (18,300 metres) of core drilling in 2011. Based on our increased understanding of this significant epithermal gold system and our increased confidence in the geological model at Atlanta, we have now set as our new near term exploration target, one million gold equivalent ounces by December 31, 2011."
Details of the P&E resource estimate as at December 31, 2010 are provided in the following table

      1. Mineral resources which are not mineral reserves do not have
demonstrated economic viability. The estimate of mineral resources
may be materially affected by environmental, permitting, legal,
title, taxation, sociopolitical, marketing, or other relevant
      issues.
      2. The quantity and grade of reported inferred resources in this
estimate are uncertain in nature and there has been insufficient
exploration to define these Inferred resources as an Indicated or
Measured mineral resource and it is uncertain if further
exploration will result in upgrading them to an Indicated or
      Measured mineral resource category.
      3. The mineral resources in this press release were estimated using
the CIM Standards on Mineral Resources and Reserves, Definitions
and Guidelines prepared by the CIM Standing Committee on Reserve
      Definitions.
      4. AuEq was calculated such that one ounce of Au = 77.6 ounces Ag.
Metal prices used were the November 30, 2010 two year trailing
average for Au at US$1,075/oz and Ag at US$16.61/oz with process
recoveries of 90% for gold and 75% for silver.
      5. Process costs used were US$22/ton and General and Administrative
expenses were US$15/ton. Open pit mining was US$2/ton for ore and
waste with underground mining at US$50/ton. Open pit slopes were
      50 degrees.
      6. The mined tonnage from historic operations was removed from the
      block model.
Cut-off grades were established from metal prices, expected recoveries, and estimated operating costs which are summarized in the table below.

Of particular interest in the underground resource are the Newmont Zone in the
west (below the Monarch area) and the Glaspey Zone in the east (below the East
Extension area) and the areas between and below them. These highly prospective
zones are underexplored as previous programs focused on shallower, potentially
open-pitable mineralization. P&E estimates that as a portion of the total
Atlanta resource estimate, the Inferred mineral resource in the Newmont Zone
contains 108,300 AuEq ounces within 481,400 tons at an average grade of 0.225
opt (7.71 gpt) AuEq. In the Glaspey Zone, the Indicated mineral resource is
estimated to be 12,000 AuEq ounces within 61,200 tons at an average grade of
0.196 opt (6.72 gpt) AuEq and the Inferred mineral resource is estimated to
contain 7,700 AuEq ounces within 40,700 tons at an average grade of 0.190 opt
(6.51 gpt) AuEq. In 2011, the Company plans to continue drilling the Newmont
Zone from surface and to complete a 12,000-foot (3,658-metre) underground
drilling program from the rehabilitated 900 level drift to expand the Glaspey
Zone in at least two directions.
The average gold equivalent grade (including silver resources as a gold
equivalent) of the open pit resource is 0.135 opt (4.63 gpt) AuEq in the
Indicated resource classification and 0.126 opt (4.32 gpt) AuEq in the Inferred
resource classification. The average gold equivalent grade of the underground
resource is 0.162 opt (5.55 gpt) AuEq in the Indicated resource classification
and 0.188 opt (6.45 gpt) AuEq in the Inferred resource classification.
Certain technical measurements in this news release have been converted to
metric based on the conversion factors shown below:
Measure of Concentration 1 troy ounce per short (Imperial) ton = 34.2857 grams
per metric tonne or 34.2857 parts per million
      Linear Measure 1 metre = 3.2808 feet 1 centimetre = 0.3937 inch 1 kilometre =
      0.621371 miles
      Area Measure 1 hectare = 2.471 acres
Quality Control and Assurance 2010 exploration program drill samples were
handled and assayed in accordance with NI 43-101 standards. Assaying was done
by Inspectorate America Corporation of Sparks, Nevada, U.S.A. Inspectorate is a
well known international laboratory that has operated in Nevada for more than
10 years. Samples were 30-gram fire assays of split NQ-sized core (4.76
centimetres in diameter). The NQ diameter drill-core samples were split in
half; one half was retained in its original core box and the second half was
sent to Inspectorate. Quality control and assurance of the analytical results
were monitored by inserting standards, blanks, and duplicates into the sample
run, for approximately every twenty samples at the project site.

Information Concerning Estimates of Mineral Reserves and Resources The mineral resource estimates reported in this news release were prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects ("NI 43-101"), as required by Canadian securities regulatory authorities. For United States reporting purposes, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") applies different standards in order to classify mineralization as a reserve. In particular, while the terms "measured," "indicated" and "inferred" mineral resources are required pursuant to NI 43-101,
the SEC does not recognize such terms. Canadian standards differ significantly
from the requirements of the SEC. Investors are cautioned not to assume that any
part or all of the mineral deposits in these categories constitute or will ever
be converted into reserves. In addition, "inferred" mineral resources have a
great amount of uncertainty as to their existence and their economic feasibility.
It cannot be assumed that all or any part of an inferred mineral resource will
ever be upgraded to a higher category.

Net proceeds from the offering will be used for exploration, development and permitting expenditures on the Company's Atlanta gold property located in Idaho, U.S.A. and for working capital purposes.

The Company paid cash finder's fees totaling $21,000 and issued 300,000 compensation options to registrants in connection with the closing of the initial tranche. Each compensation option entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at a price of $0.11 per share for one year.

All securities issued pursuant to the closing of the initial tranche will be subject to a four-month statutory hold period, which will expire on November 30, 2011. The Company anticipates completing the balance of the offering in early August.

Insiders of the Company purchased a total of 3,360,000 Units, representing approximately 24.8% of the initial tranche of the offering. James K. Gray of Calgary, Alberta, the Chairman of the Company, purchased 3,000,000 Units, representing approximately 1.9% of the Company's current outstanding shares and approximately 3.7% of the outstanding shares assuming exercise of the warrants only by Mr. Gray. Following completion of the purchase of the Units, Mr. Gray beneficially owns 14,955,877 common shares, representing approximately 9.4% of the outstanding shares, as well as warrants to purchase 4,250,000 shares and stock options to purchase 750,000 shares. Assuming exercise of all of the warrants and stock options owned by Mr. Gray, he would then own 19,955,877 shares, representing approximately 12.2% of the Company's then outstanding shares on a partially diluted basis, assuming no other warrants or stock options are exercised. The Units were purchased for investment purposes. Mr. Gray has no present intention to acquire additional shares of the Company but reserves the right to do so depending on market conditions and other relevant factors. An early warning report with respect to the foregoing will be filed on SEDAR.

These assay results indicate that the Atlanta Shear Zone has significant high-grade zones.

The remainder of the drill results from 14 shallow condemnation and confirmation holes in the East Extension and Monarch areas did not return significant results but confirmed the outer limits of the proposed open pit shell.

The 2011 exploration program commenced in June 2011 . More than 36,000 feet (10,973 metres) of up to 60,000 feet (18,300 metres) of drilling has been completed to date and assays are currently pending for a number of drill holes. The program is focused on the Atlanta Shear Zone which has a surface expression that is 11,400 feet (3,475 metres) long, 30 to 120 feet (9 to 37 metres) wide and extends from surface to a known vertical depth of 2,000 feet (610 metres) with numerous splays branching off to the northwest and southeast of the main Shear. Definition drilling is being conducted with infill holes to better define open pit and underground potential by increasing the density of drilling in mineralized zones which increases confidence in, and confirms continuity of, higher grade portions of the resource, and with step-out holes which test areas outside previously interpreted limits.

The Company is also investigating known mineralization systems in areas surrounding the main Shear, including the Tahoma Extension Vein and the historic Jessie Benton Mine which are north of the main Shear.

      Qualified Person
Information of a technical nature in this news release regarding Atlanta has been reviewed by Edward D. Fields who is a designated "Qualified Person" under NI 43-101. Mr. Fields is a Registered Member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration, Inc.

      Quality Control and Assurance
Drill samples were handled and assayed in accordance with NI 43-101 standards. Assaying was done by Inspectorate America Corporation of Sparks, Nevada, U.S.A. Samples were 30-gram fire assays of split NQ-sized core (1⅞ inches in diameter). Quality control and assurance of the analytical results is maintained by inserting standards, blanks, and duplicates into the sample run, approximately every twenty samples at the project site.

      Mr. Bill Baird reports

ATLANTA GOLD EXTENDS NEW ZONES NORTH OF MAIN ATLANTA SHEAR

Atlanta Gold Inc. has had continued progress in extending new north zones 1 and 2 located approximately 427 metres northwest of the Atlanta shear zone. The combination of surface grab sample results, new drill hole results and drill hole results previously announced on Sept. 22, 2011, indicate the potential of these zones which are additional to the main Atlanta shear. A grab sample containing visible gold has been excluded.

The surface sampling consisted of approximately five-pound (two-kilogram) samples collected from historic caved prospect pits and dumps of collapsed underground workings localized along a structural shear/quartz vein zone that appears to be approximately three to six metres wide. The strike length is unknown due to the covered nature of the terrain. The sampling was exploratory in nature in order to confirm the presence or absence of gold in the structure and assist in the location of an exploration drill hole.

Seven holes were drilled northeasterly from collars north of the main Atlanta shear to explore for additional veins or splays of interest. The results from this drilling indicate the potential for additional zones and the need for further work. Intersections are from areas consistent with new North 1 and 2 zones.

Exploration drill hole D11007W55 was collared approximately 244 metres southeast of the surface sampling area, and drilled toward and beneath this area at minus-45 degrees. The hole penetrated an 8.8-metre-wide zone with strong alteration including quartz veins with fine-grained iron sulphides. The zone of alteration can therefore be projected to extend from a vertical depth of 366 metres to the surface within the sampled area.

The new surface sampling and drill results in the attached tables complement the drill results which were previously announced in a news release dated Sept. 22, 2011.

Information of a technical nature in this news release regarding Atlanta has been reviewed by Edward D. Fields, who is a designated qualified person under NI 43-101. Mr. Fields is a registered member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration Inc.

      Quality control and assurance

Samples are handled and analyzed in accordance with NI 43-101 standards. Assaying was done by Inspectorate America Corp. of Sparks, Nev. Samples were 30-gram fire assays of split NQ-sized core (1-7/8ths inches in diameter). Quality control and assurance of the analytical results is maintained at the laboratory by inserting standards and blanks into the sample run.

The company does not follow the same protocol with surface samples as with drill core due to the exploratory nature of the surface sampling. Surface samples are used as a guide for exploration drilling targets or detailed trench sampling.

TORONTO, Nov. 8, 2011 /CNW/ - Atlanta Gold Inc., (TSXV: ATG) (OTCQX: ATLDF) has completed 21 drill holes in the East Extension area and compiled composite results for all hole intercepts. These 21 holes were drilled by the Company primarily as shallow infill drilling; results of which are provided in the attached table. When these results are added to the same zone's existing resource that was compiled from drilling in prior years, the proposed Monarch pit will be extended eastward through the East Extension area. These drill results extend the gold zones further east than previously modeled and are expected to further optimize the Atlanta project's economics.

"These multiple shallow infill intercepts within the main Shear indicate parallel gold-bearing structures. The combination of the additional grades ranging from 0.840 to 50.743 grams per tonne (gpt) gold and significant widths within a low-cost open pit extension will provide added value to future development plans. Extension of the proposed pit would create an opening at the east end which has a contour with a slope of approximately 20 degrees and this would significantly reduce the haulage cost of ore and waste rock," said Ernest Simmons, Vice President of Mining and COO of the Company.

The cut-off grade for the open pit resource estimate by P&E Mining Consultants Inc. of Brampton, Ontario was 1.41 gpt Au in the NI 43-101 resource estimate previously announced on July 21, 2011. An updated NI 43-101 Technical Report and Resource Estimate is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2012.

Atlanta Gold Completes Infill Drilling Down Dip and Along Strike Verifying the Potential to Merge the Monarch and East Extension Zones
      15.11.2011 | 16:12 Uhr | CNW

      TORONTO, Nov. 15, 2011 /CNW/ - Atlanta Gold Inc.,

announces that it has drilled approximately 17,350 metres (57,000 feet) to complete its 2011 core drilling program that concludes a two-year seasonal campaign of 26,213 metres (86,000 feet). This represents 56% of all core drilling completed at Atlanta in the past twenty-five years. Results from the 2011 drilling in the East Monarch area are included in tables 1 and 2 below.

Of 59 holes drilled in 2011, the 16 infill holes reported in the tables below demonstrate the potential for extension of the proposed Monarch pit down dip, and along strike to the east. The previous news release of November 8, 2011 identified the potential to merge the Monarch Zone and East Extension Zone into a single open pit.

'We are very excited about the results of our 2011 drilling program. These two zones, if mined as a single pit extending to the vertical relief on the east slope would significantly reduce haulage costs and increase the available pitable resources,' stated Ernest Simmons, Vice President of Mining and COO of the Company.

The two-year drilling program was successfully completed in five zones: the new North 1 and 2, East Extension, Monarch, Buffalo and Idaho. Pending assay results from the 2011 drilling program will be reported over the next few weeks and an updated NI 43-101 Technical Report and Resource Estimate is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2012.

      Hallo TimLuca,

AGC anticipates filing a motion with the Court to reconsider certain factual findings and legal conclusions contained in the Order. The Order granted by the Court is not determinative of a penalty, if any, that AGC may be required to pay. The determination of any penalty would be the subject of further Court proceedings and it is not currently possible to determine the likely outcome of such proceedings. AGC intends to engage in settlement discussions with the plaintiffs in an attempt to reach an agreement without further litigation.

AGC continues to operate the PWTF at the request of the USFS, until the closure plan submitted by AGC for the Adit is finalized and implemented.

AGC is dedicated to the principles of environmentally sound exploration, development and mining practices, and continues to focus on its daily commitment to the highest quality of environmental stewardship at Atlanta.

Successful Completion of 2011 Drilling Program Advances Atlanta Project Toward Environmental Permitting, Economic Analysis, Engineering and Development

TORONTO, Jan. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - Atlanta Gold Inc., (TSXV: ATG; OTCQX: ATLDF) announces that the 17,350 metre (57,000 foot) 2011 core drilling program successfully achieved the following objectives:

Tested the Shear structure between the Idaho area (west end of the Shear) and the East Extension area (east end of the Shear) to show continuity between the two areas, and to confirm that there is extension to a depth of 900 metres (3,000 feet) and along the strike length of 3,475 metres (11,400 feet):

      Core drilled infill holes confirming the potential for one continuous open pit from the Idaho area through the Buffalo, Monarch and East Extension areas. The surface expression of this portion of the Shear structure has a strike length of 2,135 metres (7,000 feet) and its open-pit portion has been confirmed to a depth of 305 metres (1,000 feet);

      Tested the Shear structure to a depth of more than 900 metres (3,000 feet) with numerous intercepts along the Shear including at the west end of the Shear, the area containing the Idaho Pit;

Explored splays trending northwest from the main Atlanta Shear and identified higher grade offshoots, and the New North Zones 1 and 2 located approximately 427 metres (1,400 feet) north west of the Atlanta Shear Zone; and

Confirmed continuity of the main Shear at depth, along strike and with significant widths.

Ernie Simmons, Vice President and COO of the Company stated "It is now time to shift our focus from building the resource to environmental permitting, economic analysis, engineering and development."

An updated NI 43-101 resource estimate is currently being prepared to reflect the results of the 2011 drilling program.

We have now established continuity along the entire length of the 3,475-metre (11,400-foot) Atlanta shear zone, which we believe will be minable as one continuous open pit.
aber auf der Atlanta HP steht:
However in early 2008, the Company changed the mining strategy for Atlanta, from bulk mining and cyanide heap leaching, to a combined shallow open-pit and underground operation with an on-site milling facility and no cyanide circuit. This new mining strategy will produce both a gravity concentrate and a precious metal rich sulphide concentrate to be custom smelted. It will also reduce the environmental footprint by 85% and increase expected metal recovery rates from 63% to 90%. Each of these improvements is critical to the future sustainable development of the Atlanta Gold mine.
This more selective method of ore extraction positively addresses environmental concerns identified during previous permitting efforts.

The open-pit contains 74.3% of the total NI 43-101 open-pit and underground resources, reflecting the density of diamond drilling in the upper portion of the resource. P&E has prepared a preliminary sensitivity analysis on the open-pit resource, which indicates that by increasing the open-pit cut-off grade from 0.035 opt (1.20 gpt) Au used in the January 2012 NI 43-101 resource estimate to 0.060 opt (2.06 gpt) Au, the potential exists to increase the average gold equivalent grade of that resource by 23.5% percent (from 0.102 opt (3.50 gpt) to 0.126 opt (4.32 gpt) Au, while decreasing the tonnage by 30.7% (from 8.62 to 5.97 million tons).

      http://www.newswire.ca/en/story/926733/sensitivity-analysis-…

      Mr. Bill Baird reports

ATLANTA GOLD INC. - 2012 WORK PROGRAM - BULK SAMPLE

Atlanta Gold Inc.'s 2012 work program previously announced on June 6, 2012, will include excavating a bulk sample of approximately 150 tons of mineralized material from existing trenches along the surface of the Atlanta shear zone for processing off site. Based only on the amount of mineralized material sampled in the 2008, 2009 and 2010 trenching programs, the average grades for individual trenches within the area of interest ranged from 1.92 to 26.16 grams per tonne Au (0.056 to 0.763 ounce per ton Au) and averaged 4.91 g/t Au (0.143 ounce per ton Au). The average grade of the bulk sample is anticipated to approximate the weighted average sample grade of the trenches in the attached table selected for the bulk sample.

As previously announced on July 5th and August 12th, the Company processed a 107-ton bulk sample at the Knife River processing facility and expects to announce the assay results by the end of September.

      Hallo,

      Ein Auszug:
Come celebrate the 40th birthday of this groundbreaking part of our national heritage.
ICL has some things to cheer about, too. This year ICL, and our rock star attorneys at Advocates for the West, used the Clean Water Act to hold Atlanta Gold's feet to the fire. Now the company faces a $2 million fine for releasing arsenic into the Boise River watershed.

It controls a site at the mouth of an adit (mining tunnel). The water flowing out of the adit is highly contaminated with arsenic and iron. The U.S. Forest Service found that Atlanta Gold’s past exploration activity in the adit likely worsened these pollution levels. For almost three years, Atlanta Gold discharged arsenic far above its permitted levels.

Gut - past exploration - kann viel bedeuten. Es werden aber die 3 Jahre hervorgehoben.

      Atlanta upgrading pilot water-treatment plant

      2012-10-23 10:00 ET - News Release

      Mr. Bill Baird reports

ATLANTA GOLD INC. UPGRADES PILOT WATER TREATMENT FACILITY TO ACHIEVE EPA COMPLIANCE

Atlanta Gold Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary, Atlanta Gold Corp., is currently installing proprietary upgrades to AGC's pilot water-treatment facility (PWTF), which are expected to be operating by Oct. 31. These upgrades are in accordance with the final filter plans and specifications that have been approved by the United States Forest Service. The upgraded PWTF is designed to treat water containing elevated levels of naturally occurring arsenic.

As previously announced in the company's news release of July 20, on July 19, the court ordered AGC to achieve compliance with the NPDES permit regulated under the U.S. Federal Water Pollution Control Act by Oct. 31, 2012, with respect to treatment of water discharge at the historic 900-level adit, which is located on property owned by the Bureau of Land Management and administered by the USFS near Atlanta, in Elmore county, Idaho. The court also imposed a penalty in the amount of $2-million (U.S.) to be paid by Oct. 31, 2012. The court has extended the time for achieving compliance with the terms of the NPDES permit to Dec. 15, 2012.

Atlanta contractor begins testing water treatment plant

      2012-11-13 08:26 ET - News Release

      Mr. Ernest Simmons reports

TESTING UNDERWAY FOLLOWING INSTALLATION OF PASSIVE FILTRATION SYSTEM AT THE PILOT WATER TREATMENT FACILITY IN ATLANTA, IDAHO

Following the completion last week of the installation of the passive filtration system at the pilot water treatment facility (PWTF) on site at Atlanta Gold Inc.'s Atlanta property in Elmore county, Idaho, testing of the filtration system has begun by the contracted engineering firm, Centra Consulting Inc. While initial testing has been quite positive, a 45-day period is required to fully test the system during which twice-weekly water samples will be taken and sent for lab analysis. This should be completed by mid-December, at which time Centra will certify the efficacy of the system.

The PWTF filtration plant utilizes a proprietary technology that is a relatively low-cost, energy-efficient, safe solution to water treatment issues common to many others in the state of Idaho. The company will license a second party to make this system available to others that have similar arsenic issues.

      2012-12-03 08:26 ET - News Release

      Mr. Wm. Ernest Simmons reports

IDAHO COURT GRANTS ATLANTA GOLD EXTENSION OF TIME TO PAY PENALTY

The U.S. District Court for the State of Idaho has granted to Atlanta Gold Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary, Atlanta Gold Corp. (AGC), a six-month extension of the time to pay the $2-million (U.S.) court-imposed penalty from Oct. 31, 2012, to April 30, 2013. The outstanding penalty will bear interest at approximately 10 per cent per annum from Nov. 28, 2012, until it is paid in full. The penalty pertains to AGC's non-compliance with the United States Federal Water Pollution Control Act with respect to treatment of water discharge at the historic 900 level adit located near Atlanta, in Elmore county, Idaho.

The installation and commissioning of an innovative water treatment system have been completed by Atlanta. This new system has allowed AGC to consistently meet the effluent standards over the past few weeks. Management believes this new system will prove useful to others in Idaho who have been having difficulty meeting water effluent standards.

Atlanta Gold Inc.: Trotz Schwierigkeiten auf dem Weg zum Goldroduzenten in 2013
      Atlanta Gold Inc., Miningscout 18 / 12 / 2012

      Atlanta Gold Inc., Miningscout 07 / 01 / 2013

      danke nochmals!

      2013-09-18 08:10 ET - News Release

      Mr. Ernie Simmons reports

ATLANTA GOLD IMPROVES ITS WATER FILTRATION TREATMENT SYSTEM

Atlanta Gold Inc.'s subsidiary, Atlanta Gold Corp. (AGC), has successfully modified its passive water filtration system (PWFS) located near its Atlanta project, by adding two additional solid removal filters. The additional filters increase the capacity of the PWFS to treat the effluent discharge emanating from the historic (1917) 900 cross-cut and Adit.

The installation of the filters was completed in July 2013 and successfully removed the inert sediments thereby improving the efficiency of the final filter. The new filters were test operated in parallel and in series. The results of the tests were evaluated as the bedded materials used for treatment matured. Recent test results with the two cells in series verified successful removal of 99.62% of arsenic and continued compliance with the U.S. Clean Water Act.

This modification of the PWFS eliminates the need to construct the previously approved 200,000 gallon "East Pond" cited in AGC's Supplemental Plan of Operations ("SPOO") which was approved by the U.S. Forest Service on August 2, 2012.

"The initial results from the changes to the PWFS are certainly beneficial and are cause for the Company to expect further improved water management and continued compliance with the Clean Water Act," said Ernie Simmons, CEO of Atlanta Gold. "Innovative action was needed to install a system within limited space, with reduced time of exposure of water to extreme weather conditions and with improved capacity, so as to maintain compliance with the Clean Water Act. The completion of the approved SPOO will allow the Company to apply Best Management Practices (BMP) and ultimately achieve control of the flow of water - thereby substantially reducing the risk to all stakeholders, with full implementation of the approved SPOO scheduled to be completed prior to December 31, 2014."

Atlanta Gold completes initial trench excavation at the monarch shaft

TORONTO, Nov. 27, 2013 /CNW/ - Atlanta Gold Inc. (TSXV: ATG; OTCQX: ATLDF) (the "Company") announced that its subsidiary, Atlanta Gold Corporation ("AGC") has completed the initial surface trench excavation at the Monarch Shaft, located at the Atlanta property in Elmore County, Idaho.

Using a Caterpillar 330 excavator, an estimated 30,000 tons of highly diluted material was exposed. More than 230 samples were taken from the excavated material that en masse will comprise the foundation of the mined ore pad upon which higher grade materials will be stockpiled when excavation continues. Assay results from the samples will be used to calculate the number of mineralized ounces comprised in the pad's 2014 foundation. The samples will be processed by Inspectorate America Corporation in Reno.

The surface sample area has identified the proposed bulk sample excavation area as planned for next year.

Wm. Ernest Simmons, President and CEO stated, "The 800' length x 65' width sample area exposed numerous Northwest trending splays which had been identified by previous surveys and sampling. Next year we expect to begin testing the gravity recovery potential from this defined surface trench area during the first phase of trench sampling at the Atlanta project."
