First Mexican Increases Land Package to 11,506 Hectares

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 14, 2011) - First Mexican Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:FMG - News) is pleased to announce that it has added to its property package at its Guadalupe Property in Sonora State, Mexico. The Company's current property package of 7,507 hectares is contiguous to Corex Gold Corp (TSX VENTURE:CGE - News) Santana Property where consistently good drilling results have been demonstrated to date.

The acquisition of the Vianney, San Martin and Panda properties continues the land package expansion strategy of First Mexican management. The property package comprises 3999 hectares that are contiguous to present land holdings and is considered very prospective for gold and silver mineralization.

The larger Panda property, 3750 hectares, is located just east of the recently acquired Hilda 31, 32 and Santa Martha claims and contains numerous historic workings. Systematic sampling of this area is planned to commence in the coming months.

The Vianney/San Martin claims, 249 hectares, will in the future be referred to as the Kristen zone. This Kristen zone lies north of and is contiguous to Hilda 38. Random soil and rock chip sampling has been conducted to date in the vicinity of visual outcrops which contributed to the decision to purchase this property. Evidence of historic mining in the Kristen zone is best exhibited from a surface excavation of approximately 150 metres on strike to a depth of 50 metres.

The Company has now identified a potential trend that extends from the Kristen zone and terminates on the Katelyn zone on Hilda 37 some 2 kilometres away. This trend has been sampled and found to be gold/silver bearing with similar rock types identified and the Company plans an early Spring IP program to assist in developing a drilling plan.

The properties were acquired for consideration of US$186,000 and 1,600,000 shares of First Mexican Gold Corp. plus a 2.5 % royalty of which 1.5% can be purchased for US$1 million. This property has been added to the existing Option agreement with International Millennium Mining Corp (TSX VENTURE:IMI - News).

SJ Geophysics Ltd. of Delta, B.C., is currently on-site continuing with the extensive 3D IP survey totaling 45 kilometres of lines which includes the survey being extended towards the Bailey zone. This 3D IP program is designed to enhance the drill targeting over multiple identified target rich areas and provide follow-up data to assist in the next phase of drilling within our continually expanding property package.

First Mexican Gold Corp. is an active explorer for precious metals in Mexico and holds an option to acquire 80% interest in the Guadalupe property package from (MIMSA) a wholly owned subsidiary of International Millennium Mining Corp (TSX VENTURE:IMI - News). The Company now controls a total of 11,506 hectares in this high potential precious metals exploration area.

      Attention Business Editors
Kootenay Options Prospective Gold/Silver Concessions to First Mexican Gold and International Millennium Mining

      Shares Outstanding: 44,373,100
VANCOUVER, Feb. 17 /CNW/ - Kootenay Gold Inc. (TSX.V: KTN) is pleased to
announce that it has entered into an Option Agreement with First Mexican Gold
Corp (TSX.V: FMG) and International Millennium Mining whereby they can earn an
undivided 60% interest in four properties, located in Sonora State, Mexico.
The Option Agreement allows First Mexican and IMI to acquire a 60%
undivided interest by paying US$25,000 on signing, issuing an aggregate
1,200,000 common shares of FMG over 5 years and spending US$2 million on the
property over 5 years. Plus Kootenay retains a 1% NSR interest which can be
purchased for US$1 million. The earn-in period can be accelerated at the
discretion of FMG. At completion of the earn-in a JV Agreement will be
      formalized.
States Kootenay President and CEO James McDonald, "We are very pleased to
have First Mexican and IMI as a partner. Their aggressive consolidation of an
11,506 hectare land package contiguous with the Corex Gold Corp's Santana
Property is an exciting development. Our exploration team has been diligent in
advancing this prospect over recent months. The high grade gold results
returned from assays and the multiple 1Kg+ Silver Targets identified to date
supports that initiative and underlines the highly prospective nature of the
      prospect.
Adds Kootenay Chairman Ken Berry, "The First Mexican Gold joint venture
provides our shareholders with multiple opportunities for new drill
discoveries. As we continue to prioritize the aggressive ongoing development
of our core asset the Promontorio Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico, we have
now successfully joint ventured 18 of our 100% owned precious metals
properties in Canada and Mexico. Collectively, these strategic partnerships
afford Kootenay minimal financial exposure and up to $20.7 million in
exploration expenditures over the next 5 years."
The property package comprises 3,606 hectares and is considered very
prospective for gold and silver mineralization with numerous historic workings
present. The claims include La Cabana 1 Frac I, La Cabana 1 Frac II, La
Cabana 1 Frac III and Cuatas which are 100% owned by Kootenay.
Sampling has been conducted by Kootenay Gold with over 120 samples
assayed with the highlights listed below. The samples from the Minas Viejas
area of the La Cabana Frac II property is on trend and very close to the
recently reported samples (see FMG news release Feb 16, 2011) from Bailey zone
      of First Mexican.

First Mexican Updates Exploration Program in Sonora, Mexico

      http://finance.yahoo.com/news/First-Mexican-Updates-iw-41448…

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - 03/10/11) - First Mexican Gold Corp. (TSX-V:FMG - News) is pleased to report results from hole HDH 11-11 and completion of a first phase 3D IP (Induced Polarization) survey from the Diana zone on the Guadalupe property package which is contiguous to Corex Gold Corp (TSX-V:CGE - News) Santana Property where consistently good exploration results have been demonstrated.

This drill hole is the last to report from the 8 hole drilling program completed in February 2011, where 5 holes were completed on the Karen zone which had been identified and now confirmed as a high grade target, and 3 holes on the Diana zone which was identified as a lower grade, potentially large tonnage target.

Highlighted intercepts to date on Dianna zone:

      -- HDH 11-09, 11.3 metres of .91 g/t Au, 142 g/t Ag-- HDH 11-10, 29.1 metres of .47 g/t Au, 172 g/t Ag-- HDH 11-11, 13.3 metres of .75 g/t Au, 195 g/t Ag
Hole HDH 11-10 and HDH 11-11 were drilled on the Diana zone based on previous trenching and surface expression visible on a ridge that contains interesting alteration and sample results. Likewise hole HDH 11-09 was drilled on the same ridge on the Diana zone some 400 metres to the east and along strike of the altered rock mountain ridge.

The results of previously released holes HDH 11-10 and HDH 11-09 along with new results of hole HDH 11-11 are tabled below. These holes exhibit mineralization from surface in sufficient potential value and continuity to be of interest to the Company for immediate further drilling.

Induced Polarization (IP) responses to date on the Diana zone have now indicated that there is a corridor of chargeability between these two drill holes that also extends West on trend an additional 400 metres past hole HDH 11-10 for a total chargeability anomaly of 800 metres. Based on these results and strong clearly defined IP response, First Mexican has decided to mobilize a drill to the site and begin a tight spaced drill program on the Diana zone. P&E Engineering of Toronto will be responsible for QA-QC practices on this drill program which will begin prior to month end.

Additional areas of chargeability from the IP survey have been detected in the vicinity of the Linda zone with chargeability extending some 700 metres towards the Luce zone. Based on final IP survey data for all areas being surveyed, a second drill will be contracted and mobilized. 3D IP is presently being conducted and completed over the high grade Karen zone with final results pending. The IP survey is also presently moving towards the Bailey zone which is a high priority target and this area should complete the current planned IP survey.

"We are pleased to have confirmed our expectations of the lower grade/higher tonnage potential at the Diana zone with this initial round of drilling. The IP survey, soil/rock chip sampling and drilling show a high degree of correlation and continuity in the Dianna zone giving us confidence to move forward with more aggressive drilling in this zone," said Jim Voisin, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Mexican. Mr. Voisin adds: "The ongoing IP survey data will greatly assist in further delineating more aggressive drilling plans for the Karen and Bailey zones plus potentially the Linda/Luce zones."

SJ Geophysics Ltd. of Delta, B.C. has just completed an extensive IP survey (Induced Polarization) now totaling 40 kilometres of lines. This 3D IP program is designed to enhance the drill targeting over future multiple target rich areas and provide follow-up data to assist in the next phase of drilling within our continually expanding property package.

John Archibald, PGeo, of Billiken Management Services Inc., a qualified person pursuant to NI 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical information in this press release on behalf of the company.

      - HDH11-09, 11.3 m of .91 g/t Au, 142 g/t Ag = .91 g/t + 3.50 g/t = 4.41 g/t Au equiv.
      - HDH11-10, 29.1 m of .47 g/t Au, 172 g/t Ag = .47 g/t + 4.24 g/t = 4.71 g/t Au equiv.
      - HDH11-11, 13.3 m of .75 g/t Au, 195 g/t Ag = .75 g/t + 4.81 g/t = 5.56 g/t Au equiv.

      Das Silber entspricht also:

      3.5 g/t gold in Bohrloch 11-09,
      4.24 g/t gold in Bohrloch 11-10 und
      4.81 g/t gold in Bohrloch 11-11.

First Mexican Gold Corp.: 3D-IP Confirms Two Major Targets, Drilling Resumes in Sonora, Mexico

      Mar. 23, 2011 (Marketwire Canada) --

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- First Mexican Gold Corp (TSX VENTURE:FMG) is pleased to report that SJ Geophysics has completed the 3D IP (Induced Polarization) survey ground work on the planned areas of the Guadalupe property package, Sonora, Mexico, which is contiguous to Corex Gold Corp.'s (TSX VENTURE:CGE) Santana Property, where consistently good exploration results have been demonstrated.

SJ Geophysics continues with their compilation and modelling of the data they collected from the multiple zones, where they acquired chargeability and resistivity data using 3D-IP, with the final report expected within the next couple of weeks. To date, final chargeability mapped data has been received on two target areas, the Diana zone, as well as a major chargeability corridor running from the just west of the Karen/Linda zone to the Luce zone.

As reported (March 10, 2011), the initial coarse data from the IP survey on the Diana zone demonstrated strong continuity over 800 metres. The Company is now in receipt of the final data and is pleased to confirm it is now targeting a zone of chargeability response that extends approximately 800 metres west from hole HDH-11-09 with widths from 40 to 100 metres and depths of 150 metres (below surface), plus reaching depths up to 250 metres in the western area. This chargeability anomaly is on trend with holes HDH-11-09, HDH-11-10, HDH-11-11 and corresponds strongly with previously reported positive rock chip and soil sampling results. The next planned drilling program at the Diana zone will total approximately 2000 metres over 13-15 holes to better determine the orientation, as well as test mineralization at the periphery and within the defined chargeability area. The Diana zone represents a very interesting moderate grade, high tonnage, near surface target as compared to the high grade Karen zone.

The 3D-IP has also revealed the discovery of a potentially very significant 1100 metre target now being referred to as the Erica zone. The 3D-IP survey carried out over the known high grade Karen zone has demonstrated a corridor of chargeability that trends over a distance of approximately 1500 metres from the Karen zone (at its northern extent) south-southeast terminating at the Luce zone with a width of up to 500 metres in places. This chargeability response strongly correlates with surface soil samples collected during an earlier 50 metre grid sampling campaign, which covered much of this area (see preliminary maps now posted on the Company's website). After review of this recently received data, management has decided to also drill three strategically placed holes along strike of the 1100 metre Erica chargeability corridor. These three holes are intended to test for mineralization along the contact to assess requirements for an expanded program. Hole HDH-11-12 has now been collared and is underway at the midpoint of the zone. Upon completion of these three holes, the drill rig will be moved to begin the detailed drilling of the Diana zone.

"We are pleased to have the 3D-IP survey, soil/rock chip sampling and drilling show a high degree of correlation and continuity both in the Diana zone and now the Erica zone," said Jim Voisin, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Mexican. Mr. Voisin adds: "This growing target rich environment is confirming our initial assessment of the excellent exploration potential of this area, where less than 10% of our land package has been sampled to date."

      Corex Drills 161.5 m of 1.04 g/t Au Including 53.4 m of 1.67 g/t Au and 24.1 m of 3.38 g/t Au at Santana Property, Sonora State, Mexico

First Mexican Exploration Update for Shareholders

      Apr. 28, 2011 (Marketwire Canada) --

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- First Mexican Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:FMG) –

This comprehensive update is for the purpose of keeping shareholders of First Mexican Gold Corp as informed as possible on the it's recent activities. Your Company has been very busy during Q1 2011 advancing the exploration program on the Guadalupe project area, Sonora state Mexico, after completing the listing on the Venture Exchange this past January. Precious metal results to date have been very encouraging and support the company's view of the positive exploration potential of this prospective gold/silver/copper bearing area which is bordered by Corex Gold Corp (TSX VENTURE:CGE) on two sides and in the same general area as the Mulatos mine of Alamos Gold Inc., Dolores mine of Minefinders Corp Ltd., and Ocampo mine of Gammon Gold Inc.

A summary list of Q1 2011 activities and accomplishments is outlined below, in no particular order or timeline:

      1. The Company completed 8 diamond drill holes in Q1 2011 with results summarized below in Table 1 – `Summary of Drilling Results to Date'. These holes were intended to further test our known high grade Karen Zone (5 holes); while also drilling the first 3 holes on the Diana Zone Target which was developed as a result of both grid sampling and trench sampling in 2010 and believed to be a low grade low dilution bulk mineable target very comparable to Corex`s activities approximately 1.5 kilometers to the West.

      2. SJ Geophysics Ltd. of Delta, BC, completed an extensive 3D IP survey (Induced Polarization) totaling 42 kilometres of survey lines on 100 meter spacing. This survey was increased from the originally planned 29 km as a result of positive IP field results over a new discovery area now being referred to as the Erica zone target which trends over 1,100 metres North to South with widths from 400 to 500 meters and an interpreted thickness of 450 metres where the northern extent is located approximately 500 metres East SE of the Karen Zone.

      3. Company exploration team continues baseline systematic geological exploration utilizing mapping of soil and rock chip samples in a grid approach while sampling known and visible surface expressions.

      4. FMG signed a four year agreement with the Adjito of Guadalupe Tayopa and Santana which permits access to all properties as required. First Mexican Gold works hard to maintain good relations with the local Adjitos in the area.

      5. Completed 75% of the new exploration camp to date with new living quarters for exploration personnel and a controlled access compound. The Company now has a more extensive operations camp/compound for its management and exploration team which includes accommodation, secure core storage & logging facilities, equipment storage and maintenance.

      6. Management completed an Option Agreement with Kootenay Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:KTN) as part of its strategy to expand the land package in the area, see press release dated February 17, 2011.

      7. Expanded the land package from 1,568 hectares to 15,112 hectares, a 10 fold increase.

      8. Reported significant and highly interesting sampling results from numerous areas of the property not yet drilled, see Table 2 & Table 3 below.

      9. Completed a small financing for $309,600 at .45 cents with a half warrant exercisable at .55 cents.

      10. Continued road development with approximately 20 km completed to date.

      11. Initiated a new drill program utilizing one diamond drill rig with 2 holes completed to date (HDH 11-12 & HDH 11-13) with assays pending. At least 5 holes will be strategically placed holes along strike of Erica`s 1,100 metre chargeability corridor (holes HDH 11-12,13,14,15 and 16) to test for mineralization along the contact and to assess requirements for an expanded program, before resuming drilling on the Diana, Karen, and initial drilling on Bailey . Hole HDH 11-14 has now commenced.

Two maps illustrating the results for both the Diana & Erica zones are now available on the company website www.fmgoldcorp.com; or via the following links:

Management is of the opinion that the initial results we have provided demonstrate that the area has excellent exploration potential. Coupled with our neighbour's results, Corex Gold Corp, a strong regional play is starting to develop in an already prolific gold and silver mining region that boasts successful projects such as Gammon Gold's Ocampo, Minefinder's Dolores and Alamos Mulatos projects.

Jim Voisin, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Mexican remarks, "We are very pleased to have accomplished so much in just our first quarter as a public company. Our recent results and strategic acquisitions demonstrate the property package assembled has excellent exploration potential for which we are very committed to increased drilling activity and justifying a multi-drill rig program in these coming months. It`s evident the large size of our newly discovered Erica zone has the potential to develop and outline a significant discovery, while to date our higher grade intercepts at both the Diana and Karen zones compare favorably with our neighbor Corex Gold Corp.`s results. We believe First Mexican provides investors a very good early entry opportunity in this current bull market for precious metals that many industry analysts expect to continue for many years yet."

John Archibald, PGeo, of Billiken Management Services Inc., a qualified person pursuant to NI 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical information in this press release on behalf of the company. Samples were prepared and assayed by an accredited lab, ALS Chemex, Vancouver, BC. Quality control is monitored on a continual basis and utilizes a system of standards, blanks and duplicates to ensure analytical accuracy.

First Mexican Gold Corp is an active explorer for precious metals in Mexico and holds an option to acquire 80% interest in the Guadalupe property package from (MIMSA) a wholly owned subsidiary of International Millennium Mining Corp (TSX VENTURE:IMI). The Company now controls a total of 15,112 hectares in this high potential exploration area.

Aktien gesichert.

      http://app.quotemedia.com/quotetools/newsStoryPopup.go?story…

Nun 56,6 Mio.

Karen zone drill highlights to date: all near surface intercepts, see news release April 28, 2011.

      -- DDH #1, 5.8 metres of 3.67 g/t Au, 753 g/t Ag

      -- HDH 11-06, 21.6 metres of 4.90 g/t Au, 104 g/t Ag, 0.73% Cu

Diana zone drill highlights to date: all near surface intercepts, see news release March 10, 2011.

      -- HDH 11-09, 15.7 metres of .77 g/t Au, 105 g/t Ag
      -- HDH 11-10, 39.0 metres of .40 g/t Au, 135 g/t Ag
      -- HDH 11-11 49.5 metres of .42 g/t Au, 86 g/t Ag, including 13.3 metres
      of .75 g/t Au, 195 g/t Ag

Aktien!) bewertet.

First Mexican Drills 3105 Silver Equivalent over 9.7 metres

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 27, 2012) - First Mexican Gold Corp. (the `Company` or `FMG`) (TSX VENTURE:FMG) (FRANKFURT:21M) is pleased to report results of drilling on its Guadalupe property in Sonora State, Mexico.

      •Drills 9.7 metres of 3105 silver equivalent g/t comprised of 9.70 metres of 6.22 g/t gold, 1853 g/t silver & 12.62% copper
A drill program based on recommendations provided by SJ Geophysics Ltd. of Delta, B.C. was carried out under the supervision of First Mexican geological team and conducted by Falcon Drilling of Hermosillo, Sonora. The geophysical targets selected for testing on Erica and Diana did not provide significant mineralization in holes HDH-11-18 to 23 with some isolated 1-2 metre single showings of .746 g/t Au, .622 g/t Au, .329 g/t Au, .384 g/t Au, and 55.5 g/t Ag.

However, one of the road cuts, completed after drilling on the Diana zone, has revealed the continuation of the Diana intrusive which was a target that was not hit during the drilling program. This opening of the breccia zone now extends the known visual occurrence to 700 metres.

The Diana zone has now been prepared with two parallel roads along 400 metres of the at least 700 metres of surface exposed visual strike length. A 5000 metre drill program comprising some 32 holes has been designed to provide an initial resource calculation in an effort to provide a solid foundation for future growth, provide solid evidence of the resource potential and enhance shareholder value prior to continued further expansion of the Diana zone which the company considers highly likely. The Diana target is a strongly altered breccia zone that appears to be standing near vertical with widths near surface of 30 to 50 metres.

In recent trench results a zone 300 metres north-west of the Diana zone has identified a silicified structure of quartz Seri cite alteration associated with tourmaline breccia. This trench sample location has provided interesting results and is believed to be running parallel to the Diana zone on the next ridge north. Further sampling will be required in this area prior to drill testing in the future.

Diana zone drill highlights to date: all near surface intervals, see news release March 10, 2011.

Holes HDH-11-24 and HDH-11-25 that were drilled on the Bailey zone will require re-drilling with a reverse circulation drill. Both holes intersected what is believed to be interesting mineralized zones however the brittle condition of the mineralized rock prevented reportable recovery for the drill core. The drill mud collected and assayed during the two holes delivered higher assay grades than that of the core recovered, see table below.

Four holes were drilled with the onsite resident JKS-300 drill. The intent was to chase the mineralization on the Karen zone and test the vertical extent of the high grade zone. Results for holes HDH-11-27 to 30 are summarized below. The holes were mineralized throughout with highlighted sections reported below with one hole, HDH-11-27 hitting the high grade mineralization. As a result of the positioning of these new holes into the Karen zone, down-hole IP is now possible and will be conducted in the coming months. This down-hole IP will assist in following this very high grade zone along both strike and plunge to better target future drilling of this high grade occurrence.

"Building a firm baseline resource estimate for the Diana zone is a high priority for 2012 to establish market credibility allowing First Mexican to critically differentiate from other junior explorers," said Jim Voisin, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Mexican. Mr. Voisin adds: "the company has defined zones on Diana with the potential to build a significant resource, whereas many juniors do not have this option at this early a stage in their development."

John Archibald, PGeo, a qualified person pursuant to NI 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical information in this press release on behalf of the company. Samples were prepared and assayed by an accredited lab, ALS Chemex, Vancouver, BC. Also, der Markt ist schon verrückt:
      10m @ 6,22 gpt Gold und
      10m @ 1853 gpt Silber und
      10m @ 12,62 % Kupfer

      Also ich kaufe heute.

First Mexican Closes First Tranche of Previously Announced Financing and Appoints Patrick Burns as new Director

VANCOUVER, June 11, 2012 /CNW/ - First Mexican Gold Corp. (the `Company` or `FMG`) (TSXV: FMG) (Frankfurt: 21M) is pleased to report a first closing of a $300,000 best efforts non-brokered financing announced April 16, 2012. Terms of the financing are 10 cents per unit with each unit consisting of one common share and a half share purchase warrant which is non-transferable. Each whole warrant is exercisable at a price of 12 cents per share for a period of two years. The financing is subject to regulatory approval.

To date $215,000 has been received for an issuance of 2,150,000 units. The fact the company is completing this investment at a premium to the market provides further testament to the pending resource potential of the Guadalupe property package which earlier this year (Feb 27, 2012) reported on the Karen zone a 9.7 meters of 3,105 grams per tonne silver equivalent assay result comprised of 6.22 g/t gold, 1853 g/t silver & 12.62% copper. The company plans further drilling in this area in the future and is presently analysing results to date with a view to further down-hole IP.

The company continues preparedness of drill platforms on the Diana zone which we intend to close space drill in the coming months. The Diana target is a strongly altered breccia zone that appears to be standing near vertical with widths near surface of 30 to 50 metres. The known visual occurrence has now been identified over 700 metres plus a very interesting, similar to Diana zone, parallel structure has been identified 300 metres north-west.

      http://www.stockwatch.com/News/Item.aspx?bid=Z-C%3aCGE-19792…

VANCOUVER , Sept. 4, 2012 /CNW/ - First Mexican Gold Corp. (the `Company` or `FMG`) (TSX-V: FMG, Frankfurt: 21M) would like to announce that additional drilling has been completed at its Guadalupe property in Sonora State Mexico .

The company completed 5 short holes into and around the Karen zone in an effort to better characterize the area of the mineralized zone. The mineralization in the Karen zone has historically been drill indicated to be a high grade area that starts at surface and with strong intensity at shallow depths.

The rationalization for this 281 meter drill program was to test the outer reaches of the known mineralized area in an effort to establish a direction to the source of this occurrence prior to extracting material for possible heap leaching. Following of the mineralized zone to the source may best be successful by way of tunneling through the mineralized zone and following it to the source. All options are being considered at this time for further work on the Karen zone.

Sampling of the core was conducted by halving the core and keeping half of the core in a plastic sack for future lab leach testing. The other half was then cut in half once again and one quarter of the core sent for assay leaving the remaining core in secure storage. The company is aware this may add some variability to the final assays due to the smaller sample mass being sent to the laboratory however the full half core was required to be certain to reach the minimum requirements for possible heap leach testing in the future, as outlined to the company.

Karen zone drill highlights to date: all near surface intercepts, see news releases April 28, 2011 & February 27, 2012 .

"The company is considering numerous possible options for future exploration/development at the high grade Karen zone" said Jim Voisin , President and Chief Executive Officer of First Mexican. Mr. Voisin adds: "in these difficult market times for junior exploration companies all options must be on the table to help increase shareholder value and we remain committed to our shareholders to build a good resource base in what we believe to be the high potential Guadalupe property package." In addition, "I would be remiss if I didn't draw shareholder attention to the potential amount of money that a major mining company is preparing to invest in our neighbour Corex Gold's property; this provides some indication of the value of properties in this area."

Our Diana zone still remains drill ready for an exposed distance of some 700 meters, and funding is being sought to execute the delineation drilling of this zone.

First Mexican Gold advises that it has issued 1,975,000 options to directors and staff at an exercise price of $0.13 with a five year term.

      1. Schau mal nach Infos zu Peter Schiff.
      2. Neue Investorenkontakte.
      3. Historie als seriöses Brokerhaus.
      4. Kenne PP Bedingungen zwischen 5-10%. 8% sieht nicht übermäßig generös aus.

      Exploration = Verwässerung

      http://app.quotemedia.com/quotetools/newsStoryPopup.go?story…

First Mexican and Buenaventura Sign A Non-Binding Agreement for Guadalupe Property in Mexico

      TSX-V Trading Symbol: FMG

VANCOUVER, Jan. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - First Mexican Gold Corp. (the "Company" or "FMG") (TSX-V: FMG, Frankfurt: 21M) is pleased to announce that it has signed a non-binding letter agreement with Compañía de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A. ("BVN") (NYSE: BVN, BVL: BVN), pursuant to the terms of which BVN has been granted the right, for a period of 60 days from the signing, to complete due diligence and the right, at BVN's discretion, to negotiate terms and sign a definitive agreement with FMG to earn a 70% interest in the Company's 100% owned Guadalupe project. The objective of this proposed transaction is to further develop the Guadalupe property in Mexico, to provide capital for the Company and significantly expand the exploration program. The Company retains the Panda claim block for future exploration.

The FMG claim blocks are located along a trend of producing mines in the Sierra Madre Occidental, including the Mulatos mine of Alamos Gold Inc., Dolores mine of Pan American Silver Corp and Ocampo mine of Minera Frisco, S.A.B. de C.V. The property is also contiguous to Corex Gold Corp (CGE -TSX-V) Santana Property where Corex and Vale are now drilling subsequent to the option agreement finalized in December 2012.

      Terms

Provided that BVN is satisfied with the results of its due diligence, it is anticipated the definitive agreement will grant BVN an option to acquire a 70% undivided interest in the Guadalupe project by BVN making payments to FMG totaling $5,000,000 within a four year period, and BVN completing the drilling of 11,000 meters within a four year period. In addition to the minimum required meters to be drilled BVN will conduct mapping, sampling and ground geophysics as required to best access the property potential and target drill locations. The terms of the definitive agreement will be subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. In order to facilitate matters for the Company, BVN has agreed to enter into a convertible loan arrangement, pursuant to the terms of which BVN has agreed to loan the sum of $250,000 to FMG, which loan is automatically convertible into 2,777,778 common shares of FMG at the price of $0.09 per share in the event a definitive agreement is not concluded within the 60-day period. The $250,000 will be advanced by BVN to FMG within two business days of FMG obtaining TSX Venture Exchange approval to the convertible loan and will be used to fund general operations. In the event a definitive agreement is concluded within the 60-day period, the convertible loan will be terminated and credited towards the first cash payment payable to FMG.

"The Company is very pleased to have a company such as BVN as a strategic partner to further advance the Guadalupe property to its next phase of development " said Jim Voisin, President and Chief Executive Officer of FMG. Mr. Voisin adds: "we remain committed to our shareholders to build a good resource base in what we believe to be the high potential Guadalupe property."

Antwort auf Beitrag Nr.: 44.051.225 von Fantomas96 am 22.01.13 21:22:52Und hier noch ein Kommentar von Jim Voisin zu dem Deal (von Stratopod auf Agoracom):

I asked Jim for an explanation about the recent news. Here is his reply and he is okay with me posting all of it in it's entirety.

      strato

We do try to explain the deal as clearly as possible in the press releases that we issue, but I have received a number of questions which I will attempt to clarify.

BVN is listed on the New York and Lima Stock Exchange and is been around for 60 years , has 11 mines. It is a multi BILLION DOLLAR Company that has ~ 1300 employees.

BVN is the operator and will use their team of geologists and experts to access the property prior to drilling.

Once drilling starts they do not have to follow the minimum per year drilled. They could drill all 11,000 meters in 18 months and pay the $5 million and fulfill the contract to complete the earn in.

This deal started in October and I had more than one offer to deal with.

I think they have a great geological team and defiantly have the knowledge and experience to find what I believe is a minable resource on the property.

I kept the Panda because I like the area and there are a few old workings in that area. Stay Tuned. We are not dead and certainly not done exploring.

Money is very tight even for good projects. I truly believe that 2013 will show us that only the real deals will survive. I think that by the end of 2013 we could see 20% of all TSX listed companies go bankrupt. I expect even some real ones will not make it. Watch and see, but I think it’s coming. Keep in mind that it costs in excess of $100,000.00 per year in legal’s , audit and TSX fees.

After the 60 day DD I expect BVN to hit this hard with a team of people that are good at what they do. It will be interesting to watch and I will receive quarterly updates on activities, and can visit at any time.

There is no doubt in my mind that this move was in the best interest of our Shareholders.

      Best

      Jim

      Hallo Fantomas.

      Trotzdem - Lesezeichen.
