Hallo zusammen !!

Bin durch einen kleinen Bericht von der PDAC 2011 auf diese Aktie aufmerksam geworden.
In den letzten Tagen ist der Kurs weiter zurück gekommen und ich bin direkt eingestiegen mit einer kleinen Position (vorläufig)

....Ein solches Beispiel ist Continental Precious Metals (TSX: CZQ). Das Unternehmen besitzt auf dem Viken Projekt in Schweden eine riesige polymetallische Uran-Vanadium-Molybdän-Lagerstätte mit 1 Mrd. Pfund Uran, 16,7 Mrd. Pfund Vanadium und 1,5 Mrd. Pfund Molybdän. Der NPV liegt bei über 1 Mrd. $. Sicherlich sind besagte Rohstoffe gerade nicht sehr in Mode, aber das wird sich ändern und das Unternehmen ist mit ca. 32 Mio. CAD bewertet und hat 20 Mio. CAD in bar.....

Continental Precious Minerals Announces Update on Metallurgical Testing of MMS Viken Samples
Reduced Reagent Consumption Indicated

Mar. 18, 2011 (Marketwire Canada) --

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- Continental Precious Minerals Inc. (TSX:CZQ) (the "Company" or "Continental") announces an update on the metallurgical research on samples from its MMS Viken project in Sweden.

Recent results from bench-scale testing on Viken samples have shown a significant reduction in reagent consumption in metal recovery processing. Based on results to date, overall uranium and molybdenum recoveries should be little changed from values in the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), although the rate of uranium leaching may be slower. Vanadium leaching from material roasted at larger scale than in earlier work returned vanadium extractions lower than that assumed for the PEA. It is unknown at present whether this is an effect of chemistry or the scale of the tests. Testing and confirmation are ongoing and the Company expects to release detailed results later this year.

The research is being carried out at Process Research ORTECH Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario. Al Hayden of EHA Engineering Ltd. is working with Process Research personnel on the project. Their previous research was incorporated into the Preliminary Economic Assessment filed on SEDAR on October 19, 2010. As alkaline leaching and roasting are the recommended methods of metal recovery to be applied at MMS Viken, a reduction of 85 to 90 percent in reagent consumption in the alkaline leaching for uranium extraction, as indicated by recent testwork, will have a direct impact on the operating cost and hence the cost of production.

The final results from the metallurgical research will be incorporated into a pre-feasibility study and will be considered in the company's decision to build a pilot plant.

Hallo Pirat_Micha,

bin auch durch den PDAC-Bericht auf die Aktie gestossen und fand sie sehr günstig bewertet (beim Kurs von 0.56 CAD). Dann kam Japan, und obwohl Uran hier im Vergleich zu Vanadium nur das Nebenprodukt ist, wurde die Aktie wie ein reiner Uran-Explorer abgestraft.
Bin dann am Donnerstag in Kanada eingestiegen: "kaufen, wenn die Kanonen donnern" (oder die Brennstäbe schmelzen).
Allein heute 18% plus.

Hi, ich bin ebenfalls wie ihr aufgrund des PDAC Berichts auf die Aktie aufmerksam geworden und beobachte sie erstmal bzw informiere mich vor einen Einstieg.
Das mit dem URAN ist ja z.Z. so eine Sache für sich, aber vom Kurs her ist sie recht günstig einzuschätzen.
Ein Einstieg könnte sich lohnen.

Immer auf der Suche nach interessanten Werten.

Bin hierauf auch über den von dir geposteten Bericht von Versant Partners gestoßen.

Bist du hier tiefer drin?

Denn leider findet man relativ wenig News über den Wert und so kann ich mir z.B. nicht den Ausbruch vom 10. Juni erklären.

Ebenso finde ich das Tradingverhalten etwas seltsam:


Und zum Unternehmen ansich:
17M$ Cash klingen erstmal nicht schlecht.
Die PEA war auch gut

ABER
Produktionskosten von über 50$/lb finde ich doch nicht ohne, wenn man es mit anderen vergleicht.
Ebenso fehlen mir in der Investor's Presentation einige Daten bzw. ein Projektplan.
PFS soll kommen....aber wann?

Und dann noch "Strategic focus on joint venture with major mining companies":
Gab es hierzu mal nähere Infos? Oder hofft man am Ende auf eine ganzheitliche Übernahme?

Werde den Wert weiter im Blick behalten und mir die Karten legen, wenn er wieder bei 0.21CAD steht.
Aber im Moment zwingt sich mir kein Invest auf.
