Northair Intersects 48.05 Metres of 140.6 g/t Silver at La Cigarra Project, Mexico
International Northair Mines Ltd. (TSXV: INM) (the "Company" or "Northair") is pleased to announce assays results from four holes of the Phase II core drill program presently underway at the La Cigarra silver project, located in north central Mexico. Drill results are highlighted by:

      * 53.70 metres of 87.1 g/t silver in Hole CC-11-004 at the San Gregorio Zone; and
      * 48.05 metres of 140.6 g/t silver in Hole CC-11-005 at the Las Carolinas Zone.

Drilling continues at San Gregorio with further drilling scheduled at Las Carolinas, as well as at the La Borracha Zone located 1 kilometre to the northwest of San Gregorio.

"We continue to be very pleased with the results of the drill program at La Cigarra," said Fred Hewett, President & CEO of Northair. "The recent drill holes completed at the San Gregorio Zone returned excellent silver values over significant widths and successfully extended the strike length of the zone by 100 metres. At the Las Carolinas Zone, located 1,100 metres southeast of San Gregorio, drilling has encountered similar geology to that in San Gregorio along with significant silver values. Both zones remain open along strike and down dip. The results from these two zones, along with the intervening 1.1 kilometres of untested ground provides excellent immediate upside exploration potential."

      La Cigarra Project, Chihuahua Mexico

      * Silver (Gold) property located within a highly prospective mineral belt in the state of Chihuahua
      * Property has good road access, topography and infrastructure
      * No known modern exploration or previous drilling conducted on property
      * Three kilometre trend of mineralization with potential to contain both high grade vein and surface minable bulk tonnage silver deposits
      * Three mineralized centres have been discovered on the property
      * Results of a 1,500 metre phase I reverse circulation drill program, completed in 2010, include intercepts of 32 metres of 132.4 g/t silver and 10.7 metres of 172.5 g/t silver

      Location

La Cigarra Project is located outside the municipality of Parral, in the State of Chihuahua along the eastern fringes of the Sierra Madre Occidental in north central Mexico. La Cigarra consists of 6 privately held concessions, totaling approximately 335 hectares and has good road access, topography and infrastructure.

      Overview

La Cigarra was identified as an acquisition target by exploration staff late in 2008, as part of the Company's generative exploration program. Reconnaissance and initial sampling results completed by Northair confirm numerous silver occurrences currently traced over a 3 kilometre trend of mineralization. The Company, through an ongoing technical review has defined three potentially significant zones of silver mineralization within the property and believes that all three zones have the potential to contain both high grade vein as well as bulk tonnage surface minable silver deposits. Although there are dozens of small to medium sized old historic workings within the project area, there is no evidence of any modern exploration. The Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Grupo Northair de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. can acquire a 100% interest in the optioned concessions by paying US$450,000 over a five year period.

      Work Performed

Exploration at La Cigarra is targeted on three main zones:

The Las Carolinas Zone is located in the southern portion of the property. Mineralization has been traced over a strike length of approximately 500 metres, and is open in both directions. 35 samples taken by the Company reported an average grade of 192.3 g/t silver including a low of 4.3 g/t silver over 10 metres and a high of 334 g/t silver over 4 metres.

The San Gregorio Zone, which is 800 metres to the north of Las Carolinas. The zone contains two distinct areas referred to as East Hill and West Hill. East Hill contains mineralization exposed through limited outcrops and mine workings over a northwesterly trending zone of approximately 185 by 50 metres, dipping moderately to the northeast. 32 samples taken by the Company reported an average grade of 180 g/t silver including a low of 10 g/t silver over a length of 4 metres and a high of 991 g/t silver over a length of 3 metres.

West Hill, located parallel to the structural fabric of the East Hill area and 80 metres to the southwest, contains a northwesterly striking, moderately northeasterly dipping vein system. The main vein is open in both directions and has been traced on surface over a strike length of approximately 340 metres with exposed widths of mineralization that range up to 15 metres. The Company has taken 28 samples which reported an average grade of 187.3 g/t silver, including a low of 12.9 g/t silver over a length of 3 metres and a high of 660 g/t silver over a length of 2 metres.

The La Boracha Zone sits approximately one kilometre north of San Gregorio, and contains numerous old prospect pits and small workings. In the centre of the zone, the Company has sampled vein and stockwork mineralization that occurs within an area measuring approximately 450 metres in length by 50 to 75 metres in width. 51 samples taken by Northair reported an average grade of 82 g/t silver, including a low of 7 g/t silver over 4.5 metres and a high of 348 g/t silver over 3 metres.

      ...ein Zahlenspiel...

....vielleicht weckt das den Einen, oder die Andere

From the diagrams you can see the approximate dimensions of the orebodies...they are

      Las Carolinas Zone :
      100m (width) x 450m (length) x 200m (depth) x 3 (sg of rock) x Approx. 3 Oz/tonne Ag = 80 000 000 Ozs Ag

      San Gregorio Zone :
      150m (width) x 500m (length) x 250m (depth) x 3 (sg of rock) x 3 Oz/tonne Ag = 168 750 000 Ozs Ag

      La Borracha Zone :
      Approx 80 000 000 Ozs Ag.

      80 000 000 + 80 000 000 + 168 750 000 = 348 750 000 Ozs Ag

NOW the depth may be deeper which will significantly increase Ozs , as well if all 3 are connected along the 3 kms strike length with overburden covering the connected portions of the 3 orebodies, that will SIGNIFICANTLY increase the Ozs ( Ozs MAY DOUBLE ! )

NOW these are hypothetical figures and further deeper drilling is warranted but as you can see the potential size of LA CIGARRA is ENORMOUS ...

Northair Intersects 39.3 Metres of 205.3 g/t Silver at La Cigarra Project, Mexico

View News Release in PDF Format

International Northair Mines Ltd. (TSXV: INM) (the "Company" or "Northair") is pleased to announce assays results from three diamond drill holes recently completed in the San Gregorio Zone at its La Cigarra silver project, located in north central Mexico.

      Drill highlights include:

      39.3 metres of 205.3 g/t silver in Hole CC-11-009;
77.80 metres of 61.4 g/t silver in Hole CC-11-007; and
      27.20 metres of 50.0 g/t silver and 10.65 metres of 0.303 g/t gold in Hole CC-11-008.

"The results of this recent drilling successfully extended the strike length of the San Gregorio Zone by 50 metres and confirmed high grade mineralization at depth, with the zone remaining open along strike and down dip," said Fred Hewett, President & CEO of Northair. "Hole CC-11-009 is the deepest hole drilled to date on the property and has confirmed significant silver mineralization over 150 metres below surface. Hole CC-11-008 confirmed the footwall portion of the zone and returned significant gold values - providing evidence of a potentially economic gold zone. Hole-CC-007 has confirmed the extension of the zone to the southeast, which remains fully open"

Northair is currently expecting assays from two additional holes drilled in the San Gregorio Zone. While the Company awaits the assays from these holes, drilling continues at the Las Carolinas Zone located 1,000 metres southeast of the San Gregorio Zone. Four holes are immediately planned at Las Carolinas to test along strike and down dip from hole CC-11-005, which returned 48.05 metres of 140.6 g/t silver.

The results from the current drill program clearly demonstrate that significant further drilling at La Cigarra is warranted. The Company plans to continue with an aggressive open-ended diamond drill program to further test the San Gregorio and the Las Carolinas zones; and initiate the first diamond drilling of the La Borracha Zone.

      Drilling Summary

Holes CC-11-007, CC-11-008 and CC-11-009 were drilled in the San Gregorio Zone to test for continuity of the silver bearing zone along strike and to depth.

Hole CC-11-007 was drilled on section 1+50S as a 50 meter step out to the southeast from past drilling. The hole intersected a broad mineralized zone highlighted by two intervals of silver-bearing druzy quartz veining and stockwork associated with dyking similar to that noted elsewhere in the zone. This hole has extended the zone 50 meters to the southeast where it remains open along strike.

Hole CC-11-008 was drilled below reverse circulation drill hole CRC-10-011 on section 0+50N to test for continuity of the silver bearing zone to the northwest. This hole was collared within the zone and therefore did not intersect the upper portion of the zone seen along strike to the southeast. The hole intersected druzy quartz veining and stockwork in predominantly bedded siltstones and argillites containing significant silver mineralization in its upper section. In the lower part of the hole a 22.60 meter interval returned elevated gold values including a 10.65 meter interval at the end of sampling which graded 0.303 g/t gold. Similar elevated gold values were also noted in multiple intervals in hole CRC-10-011, including 19.81 meters grading 0.305 g/t gold and 3.04 meters (end of the hole) grading 0.221 g/t gold. This silver and gold zone remains open on strike to the northwest.

Hole CC-11-009 was drilled below CC-11-002 on section 0+00 to test for continuity of the silver bearing zone to depth. This hole was drilled as a 50 meter step-out down dip from CC-11-002, and returned multiple zones with significant druzy quartz veining and stockwork associated with dyking in siltstones between 68.55 and 187.5 meters. The zone remains open to depth, and is the deepest mineralization encountered to date on the property.

      Sampling and QA/QC

All technical information for the La Cigarra exploration program is obtained and reported under a formal quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) program. Samples are taken under the direction of qualified geologists and stored in sealed bags. Samples are delivered by the Company via courier to ALS Chemex Labs in Chihuahua for drying, crushing and pulverizing; with the pulps sent airfreight by ALS Chemex to Vancouver B.C. for analysis. Systematic assaying of standards and blanks are performed for precision and accuracy. Analysis for silver, zinc, lead and copper and related trace elements was done by ICP four acid digestion, with gold analysis by 30 gram fire assay with an AA finish.
