Der chinesische Crashtest wird modifiziert und hat ab dem 1. Juli 2012 seine Gültigkeit. Der C-NCAP ist dann dem E-NCAP sehr ähnlich ;)...

"New C-NCAP rules to be implemented next July

      Industry News | SusanZhao | September 20, 2011 at 7:48 pm
      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

C-NCAP, the official car testing facility in China, indicated on its website that the C-NCAP Management Rules (2012 Edition) has been released. Its evaluation procedures and standards are close to European standards, and will be implemented from July 1st, 2012.

The 2012 Edition changes a lot from the previous evaluation system, collision speed and test items. The evaluation of the back-row dummy is included into the evaluation system. The test speed of the frontal 40% overlapping deformable barrier crash is raised from 56km/h to 64km/h. The neck protection test under low-speed crash is added. The active safety programs are also introduced to the C-NCAP evaluation system.

The total scores of the new edition are revised from 51 points to 62 points. The classification criteria also changes. The more severe management rules will pose new challenges to automakers.

Since the C-NCAP evaluation system was established in 2006, 59 models have been granted five-star ratings, accounting for 43% of the total tested models, and 35 models have won four-star ratings, accounting for nearly 26% of the total models. The low evaluation standard has aroused industry doubts over the C-NCAP system."

Hier mal ein interessanter Bericht, womit JAC gerade zu kämpfen hat.....die anderen Schwellenländer scheinen sich "schützen" zu wollen ;)....

"New tax rise may hinder JAC's development in Brazil

      By Carmen Lee From Gasgoo.comSeptember 20, 2011
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai September 20) - Brazil's purported plan to tax imported vehicles looks set to put a damper on Anhui-based Jianghuai Automobile's (JAC Motors) plans. According to the new legislation, which was enacted last Friday, taxes on vehicles exported from outside of the Mercosur trade union will be raised 30 percent, causing prices on imported vehicles to rise from 25 to 28 percent, sznews.com reported today.

The news is of special concern to JAC, whose Brazilian performance is very strong compared to its Chinese rivals.

According to official legislation, automobile manufacturers must adhere to three rules in order to avoid the tax hike. First, 65 percent or more of the parts used in manufacturing automobiles must come from Mercosur countries (outside of Brazil, including Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay). Secondly, 0.5 percent or more of the returns must be used for research and development. Thirdly, at least six assembly programs must be completed within Brazil.

Outside of JAC, Lifan and Chery are China's main automobile exporters to Brazil. According to analysts, the motives behind the raise is similar to those behind decision the Chinese government made many years earlier to tax imported automobiles 250 percent: to protect local industry while maximizing inflow of foreign technology.

JAC exported over 27,000 vehicles to Brazil since the start of the year, much more than any other Chinese manufacturer. JAC is currently ranked 14th in the country with market coverage of 0.92 percent. JAC originally planned to export 620,000 vehicles to Brazil between 2010 and 2020. It seems now that the manufacturer may have to change those plans.

JAC's core market in Brazil is still focused around cost-effective vehicles, so it is unreasonable for the manufacturer to raises prices in response to the tax raise. However, it is important to note that the most important for Chinese manufacturers, including JAC, is still their home market, so that tax raises in South America, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia or other regions will still not affect their core sales. Additionally, introduction of similar policies in Russia, India or other countries should not be surprising, as a thriving indigenous automobile industry is of key importance to an emerging market."

"Analysis: Net profits among domestic manufacturers in the first half of 2011

      By Carmen Lee From Gasgoo.comSeptember 20, 2011
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai) - Following rapid growth in the Chinese automobile industry in 2009 and 2010, the first half of 2011 has seen the industry slow down considerably, as competition between manufacturers continues to accelerate. With these factors in place, what sort of changes can be expected to be seen in incomes and net profits?

According to Gasgoo.com (Chinese) statistics, average income for the 25 leading manufacturers only grew 12.6 percent from 2010. This is in stark contrast to the previous two years, which saw year-on-year growth rates of 30.8 percent and 59.5 percent, respectively. Net profit, meanwhile, experienced a negative growth rate of 4.7 percent. When looking at net profit as a ratio of total returns, the industry this year achieved an average rate of 4.6 percent, which while higher than the 4.4 percent in 2009, is still below the 4.9 percent in 2010.

Among the country's top 25 manufacturers, only nine managed to have a net profit to total revenue ratio over the industry average of 4.6 percent in the first half of this year: Great Wall, Jiangling, Geely, Changan, CAMC, Yutong, GAC, Lifan and SAIC. Great Wall increased the fastest in this category, rising from 9.5 percent in 2010 to 13.3 percent this year. The manufacturer's income increased 49.8 percent from last year, while its net profit grew 109.0 percent. Great Wall was followed by SAIC, whose net profit ratio increased from 4.0 percent to 4.7 percent. SAIC's income and net profit rose 24.6 percent and 46.1 percent, respectively. SAIC's impressive growth is reportedly due to a large amount of its bonds and other investments maturing, increasing its total gains.

Geely and bus manufacturer Yutong also witnessed commendable rates of 8.9 percent and 6.6 percent respectively. Jiangling, Changan, CAMC, GAC and Lifan, while still over the industry average, had rates which were lower than in 2010.

At the other end of the spectrum, there were 16 manufacturers who had net profit ratios under the industry average. Among them, BYD's performance was particularly worthy of attention, with the company's net profit ratio falling from 10.0 percent last year to 1.3 percent this year. BYD's net profit fell an astounding 88.6 percent to 275 million yuan this year.

Automobiles were BYD's core business in 2009 and 2010, constituting 53 percent and 46 percent of the manufacturer's returns respectively. Although they still form the main part of BYD's business, income from automobiles has fallen a significant 26.51 percent this year. BYD has seen better results in its battery and mobile phone ventures, however, as automobiles remain its primary driver, it is clear to see why the manufacturer's performance is so weak this year. Poor sales and constant delays in introducing its own brand venture are cited as the main reasons for BYD's poor sales.

After BYD, Jinbei's net profit ratio dropped the most at 8.1 percent. Meanwhile, GAC, Changfeng made a net loss of 21.46 million yuan this year. Poor sales, increasing costs (primarily due to the rising value of the yen) and decreasing value of properties have been cited as key reasons for the manufacturer's poor performance."

      Tach Fire72,

Du hast so was von recht, reine Zeitverschwendung.
