Toronto, Kanada, 7.

      www.bactechgreen.com/i/video/index_sm.html

      53,469,029
      as at March 5, 2012

Tonnen Gold g/t Unzen Silber g/t Unzen
      gemessene Ressource 265.000 9,7 82.643 2,17 18.488
      angezeigte Ressource 9.300 9,2 2.750 2,15 642
      abgeleitete Ressource 28.000 7,0 6.300 2,4 2.160

Habe gestern 2 kritische Fragen an Bactech per mail gestellt.
      :
: At the moment I'm a bit nervous about your financial
      : situation.
      :
"You are correct. We are getting low on money but we are in the middle of raising some money which we hope to close later this week or early next week. We are also talking to a strategic partner about buying 19.9% of the company but that is still in progress."

The tailings-material should have "up to" 250
: g/t silver and 10% zinc. What does "up to" mean?

"We most likely won't pursue this project. Last Thursday I met with the Mexican Ambassador to Canada here in Toronto and we tossed around a few ideas for his country. We have a growing backlog of projects to pursue but no money to do the test work until we get financed. The next milestone for us will be the release of the Snow Lake study which should happen in 3 weeks or so. That starts the clock ticking on Newalta to do a deal with us."

Duran Ventures and BacTech Environmental Sign MOU to Investigate Bioleach Opportunities in Northern Peru

      17.11.2015 | Marketwired

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov 17, 2015) - Duran Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DRV)(BVL:DRV) ("Duran" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with BacTech Environmental Corp. ("BacTech" or the "Company") (CSE:BAC)(OTC PINK:BCCEF)(WKN:A1H4TY).

The basis of the MOU is to determine the financial viability of constructing a bioleach circuit to be built as an add-on to Duran's Aguila Norte mineral processing plant ("Aguila Norte Plant") near Trujillo, Peru (see Duran NR dated October 19, 2015). BacTech and its predecessors use proprietary bacterial oxidation technology that liberates precious and base metals from difficult to treat sulphide ores and concentrates. The BacTech technology is the only one employed that has commercially-proven bioleaching technology for gold and base metal separation. To date 3 bioleach plants have been designed and built (2 in Australia and 1 in China). Construction of the Aguila Norte Plant, currently underway, is expected to be completed late in the 1st quarter 2016.

If deemed viable, the bioleach plant will be designed to address the high levels of arsenic that are present in high-grade precious metal material, which are prevalent in northern Peru. Duran's geologists have already identified several prospective sources of this mineralized material, which is presently not treatable at most other toll-milling facilities in Peru. Both companies agree that a bioleach circuit at the Aguila Norte Plant will be an environmentally friendly alternative to process refractory and arsenic rich precious and base metal mineralized material mined by small scale miners. In many cases, gold rich refractory mineralized materials mined are treated with mercury in an attempt to extract gold from the host rocks. Recoveries of gold are very low and much of the material is discarded after mercury treatment leading to widespread contamination of soils and waterways.

If further investigation shows favorable economics on identifiable mineralized material, a Joint Venture will be formed with Duran's 80% owned subsidiary Minera Aguila de Oro SAC ("MADOSAC") and BacTech with each party holding 50% ownership of the bio-leach circuit. BacTech will finance the cost of the construction of the bio-leach circuit. Duran will have the right to participate in BacTech's financing if a construction decision is considered.

Flotation will be the preferred method of treating the difficult refractory and arsenic rich gold/base metal material delivered to Duran's Aguila Norte Plant. This flotation concentrate will then be processed through the bioleach circuit, which should deliver liberated gold for conventional recovery, possible by-product copper or silver and ferric arsenate for disposal. It should be noted that without eliminating the arsenic, any sale of this concentrate to a smelter would be very difficult given the restrictions imposed on smelters and their ability to burn arsenic. One of the major attributes of bioleaching is its ability to process high arsenic concentrates whereby the arsenic is converted to ferric arsenate, which is an acceptable final state product according to US EPA regulations.

The approximate ratio for concentration is roughly 20%. This means that for each 100 tonnes of mineralized material delivered to the flotation plant there would be 20 tonnes of concentrate produced and available for treatment through the bioleach circuit. Duran's Aguila Norte Plant will charge a processing fee to the Joint Venture. Any profits generated by processing mineral through the bioleach circuit will be equally shared after first paying the Aguila Norte Plant its processing fee.

For the past several months Duran's geologists have collected gold mineralized samples from different sites in northern Peru. The assay and metallurgical results from these samples convinced both parties that further investigation was warranted. It should be noted that some of the samples were representative of non-refractory sulphide mineralization and contained potential "preg-robbing" copper as well as gold. Another benefit of bioleaching is the ability to put this copper into solution for recovery as a by-product. This then allows for conventional recovery of the gold without the use of large amounts of cyanide that would be otherwise consumed by copper content.

Duran recently announced the construction schedule of its 80% owned Aguila Norte 100-ton per day flotation plant in Northern Peru. This permitted plant will process simple sulphide mineralized materials and if a bioleach circuit is added to the plant, the companies believe that more favorable mineral purchase agreements could be secured.

Duran's intention is to expand to the maximum 350 tonnes per day allowed under the Peruvian small miners' regulations. The Aguila Norte site is considered extremely favorable for a bioleach circuit because of its low elevation (200 metres above sea level elevation) and nearby workforce, water and power.

"We see a real need for a plant such as the one proposed at Duran's Aguila Norte Plant near Trujillo in Northern Peru. Through Dr. Marcello Veiga at the University of British Columbia School of Mining we learned about the issues in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia concerning the use of mercury in artisanal mining. Unfortunately creating a concentrate with high arsenic restricts the options for processing leading to very little value being created for the artisanal miner. With bioleaching we hope to be able to eliminate mercury use, stabilize the arsenic and provide a better livelihood for the artisanal miners both financially as well as from a health perspective," said Ross Orr, President and CEO of BacTech.

"We feel that this investigation and the continued study of a variety of mineralized materials throughout Peru will be very beneficial for miners. The location of the Aguila Norte Plant is ideal and will be able to process ore of many types for several decades due to favorable infrastructure and topography. Duran is continually reviewing and acquiring concessions and some have high-grade arsenic-rich mineralization ideal for bioleach processing. We look forward to working with the BacTech team and look forward to a positive outcome," said Jeffrey Reeder, President and CEO of Duran.

Dr. Cordova has also held numerous other mining positions within the Government of Bolivia as President of COMIBOL (2003) and has worked for the World Bank and the United Nations in various mining consulting roles.

On a recent trip to Bolivia, BacTech management met with the President of COMIBOL, the state mining company, and was told to expect the signing of the joint association contract between COMIBOL and BacTech by both parties before the end of the year.

"We had a very productive meeting with COMIBOL and we look forward to aggressively moving the project forward in 2016," said Ross Orr, President and CEO of BacTech.

In Peru, Ross Orr recently visited Duran Ventures' flotation plant site near Trujillo and was impressed with the progress, the infrastructure and particularly the location of the site. In addition, Duran presented samples to BacTech from an arsenopyrite deposit in northern Peru that was sourced by Duran employees. The samples have been sent to Lima for assaying and an ICP scan. See BacTech's news release dated November 17, 2015 for additional details on the Peruvian project.

"It is important that we source a contractual feed of ore as the first step towards building out the bioleach circuit. We are targeting 50% capacity as a first step and fully expect the artisanal miners to take up the balance of the capacity as they become aware of our ability to process the high grade arsenopyrite," said Ross Orr.

      Company Profile

BacTech Environmental Corporation holds the perpetual, exclusive, royalty-free rights to use the patented BACOX bioleaching technology for the reclamation of tailings and mining waste materials. The Company's principle focus is a high-grade silver/copper tailings project called Telamayu, located in Atocha, Bolivia, in association with COMIBOL, the state mining group. Recently, the Company signed an MOU with Duran Ventures Inc. to explore the viability of building a BACOX plant in Peru to treat high-grade gold/arsenic ores. The Company continues to field enquiries globally with respect to additional opportunities for remediation, including licensing transactions for the technology.

      The year in review

      Dear Shareholder:

It has been a horrible year for resources and no doubt many investors have tuned out and looked to alternate industries to invest their hard earned money. Hopefully with what I have written below, regarding BacTech's Bolivian and Peruvian projects, we will restore some confidence in you.

I have just returned from a business trip to Bolivia and Peru. My Bolivian leg of the trip was hi-lighted by the meeting on the very first day of the visit with the President of Comibol, Marcelino Quispe. If you recall, we have been pursuing the signing of the Association Contract with Comibol for the better part of a year. At this meeting, it was Comibol who suggested we get the contract signed before year-end. Sr. Quispe instructed his team of lawyers and engineers to proceed on finalizing the contract. It is no secret that Bolivia, like all resource-based economies, is hurting economically with the collapse in oil and gas prices as well as the drop off in mining. At the time of writing this letter, I am waiting on our lawyer's advice on when to go back to La Paz to sign the final contract. I would expect this to happen before Christmas. Marcelino has suggested a press conference would be appropriate for the signing of this document in order to show the world that Bolivia is open for business.

We are also very happy to announce that we have engaged the services of Jose Cordova, a former President of Comibol, as well as a former manager at the Telamayu mill complex. Jose has been actively involved in the negotiations with Comibol. It would be an understatement to say that he knows the project very well.

The Bolivian project does not include bioleaching in its plans. We will build a simple gravity/flotation circuit for the silver and copper and we believe the majority of the tin will also be recovered by gravity. This is to get to a cash flow position as quickly as we can. In reality, the test work we have planned for Q1/16 will provide the final answers on what route we take. There is the possibility to use bioleaching in Bolivia in the future, provided that the projects are economically viable.

In Peru, we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Duran Ventures Inc. to investigate the economic possibility of processing arsenopyrite ores with bioleaching. Unlike many of the Canadian companies that have built or bought oxide-processing plants in Peru, our agreement calls for the construction of a flotation plant for sulphide ores including ores with high levels of gold/silver and arsenic.

I was fortunate to travel to Duran's flotation plant site near Trujillo. What strikes someone right away is its ideal location. It is 11 km east of an ocean port making movement of equipment and concentrates very easy and the area seldom, if ever, sees any rain. At 200 meters above sea level, it provides a good backdrop for bioleaching. Fresh water and power are within close proximity as well. Duran expects to commission their 100 tonne per day flotation plant in Q2/16.

We have just received some results from an internal study for material we submitted a few weeks back. I can't provide the actual numbers as we collected the samples and to be reportable they would need to be collected by an independent party. The results are really a confirmation for us that we are pursuing the right material for bioleaching. These samples will now be floated to provide us with a flotation concentrate for bioleach amenability work. These mineralized materials we are assessing are ideally what we want to find for a "contracted" source of material for bioleaching. In the event we identify a suitable project to provide ore feed, we would undertake the customary NI 43-101 study, as well as provide independent assays for the mineralized material.

Personally, I think the prudent road for us to take is to build a bioleach plant that is two times the capacity of what we contract for. This allows the artisanal miner to find us and fill up the excess capacity. In my opinion, to build a plant strictly on the back of artisanal miner feed would not be financeable.

So what do we have in store for 2016? First and foremost, we would like to bring a small rig to Telamayu to get a better understanding of where the metal sits in the tailings or, in layman's English, find out where the hot spots are. The material that is generated from the drill program will be subjected to enhanced flotation test work, which in turn will allow us to determine what the appropriate flow sheet should look like. There have been several different groups expressing an interest in financing the plant, which is a positive in this environment. High-grade opportunities always attract savvy investors.

In Peru, we will continue to identify deposits that contain high-grade gold and arsenic. Since there currently is no home to process these deposits, we believe we have identified an attractive niche for gold production and corresponding mercury reduction. Again, if everything goes to plan, we could be talking about a new bioleach circuit in next year's "Year in Review."

2016 should be a very busy year with production and cash flow on the near horizon. Cash Flow. That is quite a concept for a junior company. Please feel free to email or call me at the contacts below, with any questions or comments you may have.

      Yours Sincerely,

BacTech Engages Specialists For Mercury Reduction Initiative

Toronto, Canada, March 16, 2016 - BacTech Environmental Corporation (“BacTech” or
the “Company”), (CSE: BAC, OTC Pink: BCCEF, WKN: A1H4TY) announced today that
it has engaged two highly specialized consultants as a result of attending the recent
Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada conference in Toronto, Canada.
Both specialists were engaged to pursue the Company’s mercury reduction in Ecuador
and Peru initiative that was announced in 2015.

Since 1997, Dr. Marcello Veiga has worked as a professor at the Norman B. Keevil
Institute of Mining Engineering within the University of British Columbia. He has
published over 300 papers on issues related to mining and the environment. From 2002
to 2008, he worked as an expert and Chief Technical Advisor of the Global Mercury
Project for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (“UNIDO”) in Vienna,
Austria. The work included environmental and health assessments of mercury pollution
in artisanal gold mining in Asia, Africa and South America, as well as the implementation
of national policies and procedures to reduce mercury emissions and increase gold
recovery. Since 2008, he has been a key consultant for many mining concerns and
international agencies dealing with the issues of artisanal mining. His work has led him
      to over 20 countries globally.

The second specialist engaged by BacTech relates to the dissemination and awareness
of news associated with the problems created by artisanal mining in developing
countries. Mr. Ellis Martin created The Ellis Martin Report in 1999 as a radio and media
resource that assists small and mid-cap public companies in getting their message out to
shareholders and prospective investors. Mr. Martin will be working with Dr. Veiga to
raise the public’s awareness of artisanal mining and its’ related mercury and arsenic
      issues.

“There is a need to educate people about the devastating effects of mercury use in small
mining centers. I believe deploying BacTech’s proprietary environmental remediation
technologies with respect to mine tailings and artisanal mining problems will lead to
increased health and wealth amongst afflicted communities. The answer is raising the
awareness of the problem and subsequently bringing technology to alleviate the
      environmental problems,” stated Ellis Martin.

Late in 2015, BacTech announced a mercury reduction initiative using bioleaching as the
treatment process for high-grade gold and arsenic concentrates in Peru. Bioleaching is
an effective tool in stabilizing arsenic as a ferric arsenate and liberating the contained
      metals for economic recovery.

At the present time, BacTech’s partner in Peru, Duran Ventures Inc, (“Duran”), (TSXV:DRV)
is in the final stages of completing a 100 tpd flotation circuit at their site near
Trujillo. Once completed, a search for arsenopyrite feed for a bioleach plant to be built
at Duran’s site in Peru will begin. The first task for Dr. Vega is to locate potential feed
material for the proposed bioleach plant in Peru, as well as the possibility of another
plant in southern Ecuador. It is anticipated that these plants will be built on a small-scale
model, processing less than 50 tpd of concentrate. The reduced capital for the plant,
along with the high-grade gold feeds should allow for very rapid debt repayment and
      positive cash flow once operating.

With respect to Bolivia, the management of BacTech met with the Minister of Mines for
Bolivia at PDAC to discuss the lengthy delays in signing an association contract with
COMIBOL, the state mining company. The Minister pledged his support in getting a
contract to process the Telamayu Tailings signed as soon as possible. In addition, the
Company discussed with the Minister other potential sites that could use the Company’s
      bioleaching technology in Bolivia.

Finally, the Company announced today that the Board of Directors have approved the
issuance of 2,650,000 options to purchase common shares of the Company to directors,
officers, employees and consultants of the Company. The exercise price of the options is
$0.07. They are subject to a four-month hold and have a term of 5 years.

The total number of outstanding options under the Company’s plan, including the grant
above, is now 3,003,000 options or approximately 7.08% of the outstanding shares. The
Stock Option Plan allows for up to 10% of the outstanding common shares to be
      reserved for stock options.

BacTech Signs Association Contract with COMIBOL
      for Remediation of Telamayu Tailings

Toronto, Canada, May 24, 2016 - BacTech Environmental Corporation
(“BacTech” or the “Company”), (CSE: BAC, OTC Pink: BCCEF, WKN: A1H4TY)
announced today that its 98% owned Bolivian subsidiary Empresa Minera
Ambiental BacTech S.A. ("EMABSA"), has signed an Association Contract with
Corporación Minera de Bolivia ("COMIBOL"), the state mining company of
      Bolivia.

The ten-year contract calls for the environmental remediation and restoration of
the “Antigua” tailings and an option on the “Nuevo" tailings, both situated at the
Telamayu mill site. Telamayu is situated near the town of Atocha in the
Department of Potosi. The agreement envisions three phases, with the first
phase focused on the completion of a technical study on the 600,000 tonne
Antigua tails. Included in the study will be the drilling of a grid of 10 metre holes
that will provide information for a NI 43-101 study. In addition, tailings material
will be used in metallurgical studies to determine the optimal flow chart for the
proposed plant. Engineering of the plant will be conducted by Bumigeme Inc. of
      Montreal, Canada.

To date, the Company has conducted its own preliminary study on the tailings
from material provided by COMIBOL. Approximately four years ago, COMIBOL
collected some 2,000 bags of material at 1 metre intervals from 4 separate holes
dug to the bottom of the tailings. BacTech engaged SGS Bolivia S.A. to take
samples from each bag to create a 250 tonne representative sample for assay
      and early flotation work.

The work was carried out at PRA Inspectorate Labs in Vancouver and confirmed
the reported grades provided earlier by COMIBOL. The tailings contain high
levels of silver (8.8 oz/tonne), copper (2.24%), and commercial quantities of tin
(1.5%). The early testwork showed that the material responded well to
concentration by washing followed by flotation, while the assay and particle size
data suggested that gravity separation may also be appropriate for recovery of
coarse silver and tin values and should be investigated in subsequent testwork.
It is therefore expected that the recovery will be improved by conducting further
testwork. The results from the early work conducted by PRA Laboratories are
summarized later in the press release.

The second phase will be the construction of a processing plant that will create
concentrates of silver, tin and copper using conventional processing. There will
be contributions from gravity separation, flotation concentration, and copper
precipitation from water creating the final products leaving site.
There is considerable infrastructure at the mill site including power, rail, a mill
housing and a local workforce. The Telamayu mill has processed ores from the
surrounding mines for over 70 years, with the Antigua and Nuevo tailings created
from the operation. The existing infrastructure should lead to reduced capital
      costs.

The final stage is the commercialization of the plant which is expected to be
completed within the next 12 to 15 months. All three stages require the posting
of a performance bond that is released upon completion of each phase. BacTech
has posted a bond of USD$26,000 to cover the initial phase.
The Nuevo tailings are considerably larger, estimated to be approximately 4
million tonnes, but contain lower grades than Antigua. At some point in the future,
BacTech will conduct an evaluation and an economic study to determine the
      viability of the tailings.

      Previous Assays

      Element Unit Telamayu Tailing Comp.
      Silver g/mt 275.0
      Gold g/mt 0.24
      Tin % 1.57
      Antimony % 0.95
      Copper % 2.24
      Bismuth % 0.56

As mentioned previously, BacTech conducted its own evaluation from material
provided by COMIBOL. It is understood that the mill processed head grades of
9,300 grams per tonne (300 opt) silver which provides an explanation for the high
silver grades. It seems that the high grade copper is a result of no effort to
capture the metal during processing of zinc, silver and tin.

“This agreement provides BacTech with a soft entry into the Bolivian market. The
combination of low capex, multiple metals for recovery and a strong partner in
COMIBOL, provides a great stepping stone for additional environmental
reclamation projects in partnership with COMIBOL in the future. Under the terms
of the agreement, the Company receives 100% of the cash flow in the initial 18
months or until the project financing debt is repaid, whichever comes first,” said
Ross Orr, President and CEO of BacTech.

BacTech’s in-country General Manager for Bolivia is Dr. Jose Cordova, who has
32 years of experience in global mining, including positions as both President
and as Technical Manager for COMIBOL. Dr. Cordova will be responsible for the
development of the Telamayu project. EMABSA's in-country legal
      representatives are Reynolds and Associates.

The tonnages provided by COMIBOL are of a historical nature and have not
been confirmed by the Company. BacTech is not treating the historical estimate
as current mineral resources or reserves as they are not NI 43-101 compliant.

      Company Profile

BacTech Environmental Corporation holds the perpetual, exclusive, royalty-free
rights to use the patented BACOX bioleaching technology for the reclamation of
tailings and mining waste materials. The Company's principle focus is a highgrade
silver/copper tailings project called Telamayu, located in Atocha, Bolivia, in
association with COMIBOL, the state mining group. The Company signed an
MOU with Duran Ventures Inc. to explore the viability of building a BACOX plant
in Peru to treat high-grade gold/arsenic ores. Investigation has begun to identify
similar opportunities in Ecuador. The Company continues to field enquiries
globally with respect to additional opportunities for remediation, including
      licensing transactions for the technology.
