Mr. Frederick Sveinson reports
VALTERRA CHANNEL SAMPLES 36.8% C(G) OVER 1.5M AND EXPANDS HIGH GRADE GRAPHITE DISCOVERY ZONE AT BOBCAYGEON
Valterra Resource Corp.'s recent surface and trench sampling is confirming the high-grade nature of the Bobcaygeon graphite property, located 130 kilometres due northeast of Toronto. Ground EM-MAG-IP geophysical surveys have been completed on 60% of the 11 line-kilometre grid and the preliminary IP chargeability within the Discovery Zone area has outlined an open-ended, near surface anomaly covering 480m x 350m, plus additional nearby features and other zones of potential interest have been detected. Additional ground has been staked, bringing the Valterra holdings to over 140 sq. km. The company is planning a near-term diamond drill program and a more extensive regional exploration program to further evaluate the large property package.
The discovery trench opened in December identified a 20m lateral exposure of high grade graphite with trenching bottoming in graphite suggesting a minimum thickness of this lens at 1.5m. The trenching yielded highlighted assay results from 7.76% C(g) to 36.8% C(g).
Alabama Graphite Corp.
"A New Beginning for Graphite Production in the United States"
Alabama Graphite Corp. (ALP:CNSX) through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Alabama Graphite Company Inc., is a graphite exploration and development company whose flagship project "The Coosa Graphite Project" in Coosa County, Alabama is located in an area with significant historical production of crystalline flake graphite.

Die news klingt sehr gut:
Mason Graphite Announces Results from 23 Drill Holes; Including 88.5 M of 21% Graphite
http://www.masongraphite.com/news/news-details/2012/Mason-Gr…
Significant graphite intercepts in this round of results, include:
Hole LG-44 intersected 96.0 metres at 16.9% Cgr
Hole LG-50 intersected 52.3 metres at 22.4% Cgr and 12.4 metres at 17.5% Cgr
Hole LG-53 intersected 43.5 metres at 20.0% Cgr, 16.5 metres at 15.7% and 88.5 metres at 21.0% Cgr
Hole LG-61 intersected 13.5 metres at 20.2% Cgr, 13.5 metres at 17.5% Cgr and 13.5 metres at 24.7% Cgr
Hole LG-231 intersected 33.0 metres at 19.1% Cgr
Oh, "Kohle" ist auch vorhanden (aber schon viele shares?):
Sieht auch gut aus:
http://www.masongraphite.com/Home/default.aspx

Nanoporous Graphene Ranked Among Top Five Surprising Scientific Milestones of 2012
Posted on January 10, 2013 by Jeff Altman
January 10, 2013 (Source: AZoNano.com) — Smithsonian magazine recently ranked nanoporous graphene, a novel material for water desalination developed in MIT’s Department of Materials Science & Engineering, in its ranking for the top five surprising scientific milestones of 2012.
Nanoporous graphene is a one-atom-thick form of carbon with tiny holes that can block salt ions while letting water molecules through, enabling the production of potable water from the world’s virtually limitless supply of seawater. The new graphene membrane was first proposed last June by MIT graduate student David Cohen-Tanugi and Jeffrey C. Grossman, the Carl Richard Soderberg Associate Professor of Power Engineering in MIT’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering, in the journal Nano Letters.
“Using materials science to find solutions to water challenges is unusual. We’re bringing a new perspective to this problem,” Grossman says.
Thanks to its atomic thickness and well-defined hole structure, nanoporous graphene could reduce the cost and energy footprint of water desalination. In its ranking, Smithsonian magazine mused that nanoporous graphene might one day provide “a way to solve many of the world’s water problems once and for all.”
The ranking is published yearly on Smithsonian’s Surprising Science blog. Other top awardees for 2012 included the Higgs Boson and NASA’s Curiosity mission to Mars.
The project was funded by a seed grant from the MIT Energy Initiative and by a Schlumberger-MIT Energy Fellowship.

Gute Bohrergebnisse von Standard Graphite. Der Ressourcenbereich wird Richtung Westen erheblich erweitert. Nun sieht man auch den Grund für den starken Anstieg in den letzten 3 Wochen.
