ich möchte gerne auf die klassische Art mit Rohstoffen, Indizes und Währungen spekulieren. Mit klassischer Art meine ich die Spekulation nach Kostolany, also eine Idee entwickeln und warten bis man Recht oder Unrecht bekommen hat.

Ich suche gute Bücher und Links über diesen Tradingstil sowie den Austausch mit Traderkollegen, die auf diese Art bereits handeln.

Von Daytrading, Handeln nach Chartsignalen, usw. halte ich persönlich nicht viel. Darüber bitte hier nicht schreiben.

Anmerkung:
Ich bin kein Börsenanfänger und kenne mich auch gut mit Aktien aus. Jetzt möchte ich meinen Horizont erweitern und andere Anlagenklassen handeln.

Mit Rohstoffen, Indizes und Währungen erfolgreich zu sein, ist wesentlich schwieriger als mit Aktien. Wenn du dich gut mit Aktien auskennst (und dort erfolgreich bist), dann bleib besser dabei.

Das ist doch meine Angelegenheit was ich handeln will. Übrigens will ich die besagten Produkte auch nur mit einem kleinem Teil meines Vermögens handeln. Und zwar ganz einfach au dem Grund, da es mir Spaß macht etwas neues zu lernen.

ERA CARBON OFFSETS (Marktkapitalisierung unter 5 Mio)

We aim to have the Definitive Agreement signed on the acquisition by the middle of October, after which we will officially begin to integrate the companies. As far as bottlenecks, I will answer this by better defining the two areas of our business within ERA at the moment.

We have 2 main focuses…the first is the Voluntary market, were we have worked since our inception. The buyers within the voluntary market, as you know, have a wide variety of motivations. Ultimately, their decision to spend money on offsets is indeed a voluntary decision, so getting companies to cut large cheques when they don’t actually need to legally, is always the sales challenge, especially when the economy is struggling. That said, we have undertaken to complete the very first REDD (Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation) project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is going very well, and appears as though we will have the project validated and verified later this year. We already have a 3 year sales agreement for over 1 million tonnes to a voluntary buyer. Hopefully, as the project gets nearer to completion, we will interest more buyers. The long term hope is that REDD projects eventually find acceptance in a number of countries/jurisdictions as compliant offsets. Until then, we continue to push the value of REDD amongst voluntary buyers. Please look at www.coderedd.com , this will give you an idea of the work we are trying to do on a larger scale to promote REDD internationally.

The most exciting part of our business at the moment is our entrance into the first compliant market in North America – California. For the first time, ERA will have the opportunity to create forest based carbon offsets that will be fungible into a complaint market. Starting January 2013, both California and the Canadian Province of Quebec will begin their emission trading schemes, and offsets will play an important role. ERA is developing a multi-million tonne pipeline of projects that we expect to sell into the California market over the next number of years, out to 2020. Pricing for offsets are expected to be anywhere from $10/tonne to $65/tonne by 2020. We believe we can increase our sales substantially over the next number of years. Unlike the voluntary market, these sales will be to legislated entities, much like you have under the European Trading Scheme.

So, we truly believe there are very good opportunities ahead of us, and you will see over the upcoming months a number of initiatives and developments that will further explain our growth and development strategies. There is a lot to work out over the next while, but we will do our best to keep shareholders informed.


We are hoping to have the Offsetters deal finalized very shortly…I think we are quite close. As for future plans or acquisitions, it is still too earlier to say whether we will look at other complimentary groups. We know there are a couple out there, but whether a deal could be struck is yet to be determined. It’s safe to say that for the next few months, we will be concentrating on developing a cogent business plan for the new company, as well as working through the usual integration issues you normally face (combining databases, accounting systems etc, etc). We would also hope to present a new/updated brand image and market presence that adequately captures what the company is now, and what we expect it to be in the future.

In the meantime, we will be making an effort to get back out there, on the road, sharing our story with the investment community internationally. I expect we will dive into that early next year, as we will have tweaked the biz plan and growth strategy/targets by then.

Der gute alte Kosto meinte auch, dass man niemals heißen Tipps hinterherjagen sollte. Schon gar nicht werde ich in Fonds oder Bankprodukte investieren, wenn mir die jemand in einem Börsenforum empfiehlt.

Ich suche hier mehr allgemeine Informationen aus denen ich meine eigene Tradingideen entwickeln kann.
