Ein geringeres Angebot und die steigende Auto- und Schmucknachfrage macht Platin zu einem bessern Investment als Gold, dieser Auffassung sind laut KitcoNews die Rohstoffanalysten von Natixis. Das Platin:Gold-Verhältnis befinde sich aktuell auf dem niedrigsten Niveau seit 2013.
"Unserer Ansicht nach, kann der Platinpreis nicht auf Dauer auf diesem niedrigen Niveau bleiben, doch der Goldpreis kann weiter sinken, je näher wir der ersten Zinserhöhung der Fed kommen, die wir im September erwarten", so die Analysten. Wenn das Platin:Gold-Verhältnis Parität erreiche (also wenn Gold und Platin gleich teuer sind) oder darunter liege, steige zudem die asiatische Nachfrage nach Platinschmuck und -investments rapide an.

Eurasia Mining losses narrow

Eurasia Mining posts a pre-tax loss of £502,500 for the year to the end of December - down from £750,339 in 2013.
Revenues fell to £3,640 - down from £16,355 last time.
Chairman Michael Martineau said the company had moved significantly down the road toward platinum production and a review of financing options for the West Kytlim project is already under way.
He said Eurasia applied for a mining licence for the project in November and most of the approvals are in hand, with the last step awaited from the prime minister's office.

Eurasia Mining, the Russia focused PGM exploration and development company, reports progress on its West Kytlim project. Highlights:
· Contract awarded for the initial phase of detailed mine engineering work in preparation for mine development at West Kytlim;
· Plans now advanced for 2015 exploration programme, including plans for resource drilling to supplement mine ore scheduling, to commence when the production licence is issued;

Eurasia Mining has raised £515,700, gross, following the placing of 93,763,636 shares at 0.55p apiece.
The fund raised in this placing will be used to support underlying working capital requirements but specifically to allow the advancement of a number of xompany initiatives which require a degree of working capital to enable progress to be made. These initiatives include:
· continued liaison with the licensing authorities to secure receipt of the West Kytlim Mining Licence which will enable the Company to commence first platinum production and revenue generation in the near term;
· preparation of the development plan which is submitted to Rosnedra following granting of the mining licence. This includes, inter alia, the scheduling of the different mining blocks and the upgrading of resources to reserves.

Eurasia update on mining licence

Eurasia Mining, the platinum explorer and resource development company operating in Russia, has issued an update on its mining licence application for the West Kytlim alluvial platinum mining project. As announced on 18 March, Rosnedra complied with the terms and conditions in respect of the Eurasia mining licence application and the licence documentation was then sent to the Ministry of Economic Development for their consideration and an appropriate response within 30 days.
