Fjordland Signs LOI and Preliminary Agreement with Sumac Mines Ltd. on Dillard Copper-Gold Property, Southern British Columbia

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 4, 2013) - Fjordland Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FEX) is pleased to announce the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) and Preliminary Agreement (PA) [the "Agreement"] with Sumac Mines Ltd. ("Sumac"), a subsidiary of Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. of Japan, on the Dillard porphyry copper-gold project ("the Project") in southern BC. The Agreement has received approval by Sumac's and Fjordland's boards of directors, and formal signing of the Agreement was carried out on April 3, 2013.

Under the terms of the Agreement, Sumac has the option to earn a 51% interest in the Project by making aggregate expenditures of CDN$3,500,000 over a three year period. Expenditures will include $800,000 in 2013, $1,000,000 in 2014, and $1,700,000 in 2015. Included in the aggregate expenditure is a cash payment to Fjordland of $193,000 upon signing, and the Agreement is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. Upon Sumac completing the required earn-in expenditures and exercising their option, a joint venture between Sumac (51%) and Fjordland (49%) for the Project will be formed. The Agreement includes a 20-kilometre (km) Area of Interest ("AOI") around the Dillard Property.

As operator, Fjordland has commenced planning for the 2013 work program, with formal budget and work plan approvals expected within a few months.

Fjordland Exploration agreement for Dillard option

The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing an agreement between Fjordland Exploration Inc. and Sumac Mines Ltd., a subsidiary of Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. of Japan, whereby Sumac has been granted the option to earn a 51-per-cent interest in Fjordland's Dillard porphyry property.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sumac has the option to earn the 51-per-cent interest in the property by making aggregate expenditures of $3.5-million over a three-year period.

Sunrise Mobilizing Drilling Equipment to Man-Prime

Armstrong, British Columbia CANADA, May 27, 2013 /FSC/ - Sunrise Resources Ltd. (SHI - TSX Venture), is pleased to announce that it is currently mobilizing drilling equipment and crew to the Man-Prime Property, which is the focus of the company's first 2013 drilling program.

This property is located north of Princeton, in southern B.C., and has had a number of drilling campaigns over the last 50 years. A review of old drill data has revealed that there were a number of significant copper/gold intersections returned from drilling in the late 1960's. This area has been only partially delineated and represents a very attractive target for further work. Please see our May 7, 2013 news release for additional historic information.

While recently visiting the property for initial diamond drill hole placement, a preliminary investigation was made on an area near the eastern property boundary which hosts untested, strong IP and soil geochemical anomalies. These anomalies are located near the boundary with Fjordland's property (see below) and represents an additional potential drill target. The area has been recently logged off and a significant number of outcrop occurrences are now evident on Sunrise's property. Several of these recently exposed outcrops (within the large IP anomaly measuring approximately 1200m x 250m) were grab sampled by J.W. Murton, P. Eng., a director of Sunrise. Early examination of the samples indicates significant pyrite mineralization along with sporadic chalcopyrite (copper) mineralization. Note that the amounts of copper mineralization may only be proven with assays. Samples are in transit to an independent laboratory.

In . respect of its neighboring property, Fjordland has recently announced a Preliminary Agreement with Sumac Mines Ltd. This Agreement covering the Dillard Creek and Dill showings is located adjacent and contiguous with the eastern boundary of Sunrise's property

Eldorado Property

Further to the company's news releases dated April 22 and May 7, 2013, drilling of Sunrise's Eldorado property is ongoing by Colorado Resources Ltd., which was granted an option in 2012 to acquire up to a 75% interest in the property. The current drill program is to consist of a minimum of 1,500 metres in three to five holes and will provide a broad first past test of the deep chargeability anomaly identified in the fall of 2012. The property is comprised of 4 claim blocks adjoining or within Imperial Metals' Red Chris group of claims. Colorado conducted its very successful IP survey on the largest block (D), which is approximately 7-8 kms on strike to the northeast from the Red Chris mine area and is in a similar geological corridor.

(TSX VENTURE:FEX) is pleased to announce that diamond drilling has commenced on its Dillard porphyry copper-gold project, located between Merritt and Princeton in southern British Columbia. The 2013 work programs on Dillard are part of a staged, systematic exploration program budgeted at approximately $800,000, under a recent option agreement with Sumac Mines Ltd., a subsidiary of Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. (see news releases dated April 4, 2013 and May 28, 2013).

Phase one drilling during 2013 will total approximately 2,500 metres (m) and is designed to test for additional copper-gold mineralization, including possible depth extensions of mineralization in holes that bottomed in mineralization during Placer Dome's 1991 drilling program on the Dill (Primer South) property, where drilling intersected 207 m grading 0.25% copper. First-time drilling will also test recently discovered high-grade copper and gold mineralization at the Dillard East property, where surface rock sampling yielded assays up to 1.6% copper and 28.9g/t gold, respectively.

Fjordland is the operator of the 2013 exploration program. During June and July, 2013, Fjordland completed 17 lines totaling 43.3 line kilometres (km) of ground magnetic and induced polarization surveys, at 400-m line spacings. In addition, an airborne high-resolution magnetic and radiometric survey totaling 293 line-km, at 100-m line spacings, was completed by Precision GeoSurveys over an area measuring approximately 7 km by 5.5 km. These recent surveys, together with previous ground geophysical surveys completed in the 1970s, '80s, and '90s by several operators and in 2012 by Fjordland, have resulted in the identification of two large anomalies.

A western anomaly, which includes the historic "Dill" target drilled by Placer Dome in 1991, measures approximately 1,400 m by 1,200 m and is open to the north and west. The eastern anomaly, which includes the "Dillard" target identified in 2011 by Fjordland, measures approximately 2,000 m by 1,500 m and is open to the north and east. Both areas also have copper and gold soil anomalies coincident with the geophysical anomalies.

Fjordland also reports the 100% acquisition of the 2,528-hectare Allison Property, located 8 km north of Princeton. As the Allison Property falls within the 20-km area of interest of the Dillard agreement, the Property has been incorporated into the Dillard option agreement with Sumac. In July 2013, three reconnaissance lines totaling 3 line-km of induced polarization and magnetic surveys were completed. Results are currently being evaluated.

Fjordland and Sumac Drill 158.5 Metres Grading 0.20% Copper and 0.01g/t Gold on Dillard Property, Southern British Columbia

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Oct. 24, 2013) - Fjordland Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FEX) is pleased to announce results from its recently completed 6-hole, 2,600 metres (m) diamond drilling program on its 2,592-hectare Dillard porphyry copper-gold project, located between Merritt and Princeton in southern British Columbia. The 2013 work programs on Dillard were part of a staged, systematic exploration program, budgeted at approximately $800,000, under a recent option agreement with Sumac Mines Ltd., a subsidiary of Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. (see news releases dated April 4, 2013 and May 28, 2013).

Phase One drilling, completed in 2013, was designed to test geophysical targets as well as possible depth extensions of historically reported copper-gold mineralization. Numerous historic drill holes bottomed in mineralization during Placer Dome's 1991 drilling program in the Dillard West area (then Primer South property), where drilling intersected 207 m grading 0.25% copper. Drilling also tested previously untested, recently discovered high-grade copper and gold mineralization at the Dillard East property, where surface rock sampling yielded assays up to 1.6% copper.

The Dillard West target, measuring approximately 1,400 m by 1,200 m, includes coincident induced polarization (IP) chargeability and copper and gold soil anomalies, and is open to the north and west. Four holes totaling 1,588 m were completed; three angled drill holes drilled along a north-south section (Line 500E), and a fourth vertical hole drilled approximately 400 m to the west. The southern-most hole (DI-13-03) on Line 500E intersected 201 m grading 0.11% Cu and 55 ppb Au, including two separate intervals of 17.5 m grading 0.29% Cu and 143 ppb Au, and 21 m grading 0.20% Cu and 87 ppb Au, hosted by Nicola Group andesitic rocks. Hole DI-13-04, located 275 m to the north, intersected a sequence of alternating andesitic and dioritic rocks hosting copper and gold mineralization. The entire hole (403 m) yielded 0.14% Cu and 72 ppb Au and included intervals of 293.5 m grading 0.16% Cu and 78 ppb Au, and 158 m grading 0.20% Cu and 94 ppb Au. Hole DI-13-05, situated 600 m north of hole DI-13-04, intersected predominantly andesitic volcanic rocks and yielded 377.1 m grading 0.11% Cu and 41 ppb Au, including 63 m grading 0.16% Cu and 45 ppb Au and 51 m grading 0.18% Cu and 64 ppb Au. Hole DI-13-06 was a short hole, hosted by alternating andesitic and dioritic rocks and yielded 106.5 m grading 0.11% Cu and 49 ppb Au.

The Dillard East target, measuring approximately 2,000 m by 1,500 m, is located approximately 3.5 kilometres east of the Dillard West target and is open in all directions. Two drill holes totaling 1,012 m, situated approximately 1,250 m apart, targeted an IP chargeability anomaly delineated earlier in the season. Anomalous copper +/- molybdenum +/- gold amounts were obtained, with local 3-m intersections grading up to 0.14% Cu, 410 ppb Au and 55.5 ppm Mo. Drill holes DI-13-01 and DI-13-02 intersected a major fault system containing intensely pyritized Nicola Group andesitic volcanic rocks, with local zones of high silica flooding.

Atkinson has filed an early warning report that advises that since the filing of his last report on Sept. 13, 2011, he has obtained ownership or control of an additional 2,065,500 common shares of Fjordland Exploration Inc. for total consideration of $113,250. These shares were acquired by the exercise of management incentive options (725,000 options) and through purchases on the TSX Venture Exchange (1.34 million shares).

The option agreement to purchase a 100% interest in the Property covers recently interpreted prospective ground for the discovery of a copper-gold porphyry-type deposit and/or an Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) deposit.

The road-accessible Heffley Property is located approximately 30 km northeast of Kamloops, just outside of where New Gold Inc. put the New Afton copper-gold-silver mine back into production in mid-2012 as an underground block caving operation with a current average throughput of over 12,000 tonnes per day. New Afton's proven and probable reserves at December 31, 2013 were stated at 48.82 million tonnes grading 0.84% Cu, 0.56 g/t Au and 2.2 g/t Ag. Measured and indicated mineral resources (inclusive of reserves) total 104.9 million tonnes grading 0.86% Cu, 0.68 g/t Au and 2.3 g/t Ag (1).

The Heffley Property occurs within the prolific Quesnel terrane and lies at the contact between Upper Triassic Nicola Group and Devonian to Permian Harper Ranch Group volcanic and sedimentary packages. These rocks have been intruded by the syntectonic Heffley Creek pluton, estimated to measure 5 km by 2.6 km, which has alkali affinities, including the presence of ultramafic rocks, gabbros and diorites. Its age (208 Ma) and associated copper and gold porphyry-style mineralization bears a close resemblance to the Iron Mask batholith that hosts the New Afton and Ajax deposits. In general, bedrock exposures at Heffley are sparse and patchy and limited to steeper hillsides and road cuts.

The Heffley Property has seen very limited exploration (no induced polarization surveys or drilling), which is surprising, given its proximity to Kamloops and the abundance of mines/mineral deposits in the region. Access into the region was improved into the Shaw Hill area of the Property in the late 1990s-early 2000s, when logging took place. Between 1993 and 2004, there was virtually no systematic exploration of the area. In 1999, during a regional mapping program carried out by the Geological Survey Branch (GSB) of the provincial government, a grab sample from an outcrop on a new logging road up the flank of Shaw Hill yielded an assay of 0.82% Cu and 14.4 g/t Ag. Another sample assayed 6.18 g/t Au and 0.46% Cu. At the same time, the GSB documented an unusual magnetite skarn, located approximately 2 km to the northwest of the Heffley Property. Government geologists noted similarities in the setting and characteristics of the skarn to the Ernest Henry (Australia) and Candelaria (Chile) IOCG mines (2).

In 2005, the owner hand panned rough edge placer gold with quartz along a road cut leading uphill to Shaw Hill. In 2006, the owner discovered additional copper showings on the west flank of Shaw Hill.

In October 2010, Gold Fields Canada Exploration Holdings ("Gold Fields"), recognizing the porphyry potential, optioned the Property. During 2010-2012, Gold Fields completed geological mapping, prospecting, and soil and rock geochemical sampling over the central portion of the Property, principally in the Shaw Hill area. In October, 2013, Gold Fields allowed its option to lapse, as a result of corporate restructuring. Soil sampling programs completed by Gold Fields, using a handheld XRF analyzer, yielded a 2 km by 2 km copper-gold anomaly across the northwest slope of Shaw Hill, as well as an anomaly further to the west. Rock sampling and prospecting programs completed by Gold Fields yielded two copper and gold anomalous zones. One on the west side of Shaw Hill measures approximately 700 m by 400 m; the second is located to the west of Shaw Hill. Copper assays as high as 8780 ppm were obtained; gold values ranged up to 55 to 70 ppb.

Limited rock sampling by Fjordland yielded grab sample assays of mineralized diorites/gabbros including 1.337% Cu, 115 ppb Au; 0.607% Cu and 58 ppb Au, and 0.114% Cu and 1300 ppb Au. Copper mineralization (chalcopyrite, malachite and tenorite) typically occurs as disseminations, in fractures and in quartz vein stockworks.

During 2014, Fjordland intends to complete a minimum of 20 line-kilometres of induced polarization surveying over the Shaw Hill area, followed by diamond drilling.

Under the terms of the Agreement, Fjordland must pay to the owner $10,000 cash on signing, an additional $10,000 cash on July 1, 2014 (optional) and a final cash payment of $180,000 on January 8, 2015 (optional). The Company will also reserve a 2% net smelter returns (NSR) for the owner that may be bought by the Company for $2,000,000. Commencing on the 6th anniversary of the execution date of the exercise of the option, the Company will make an annual pre-production royalty payment of $20,000 payable to the owner. This royalty pre-payment would be deductible from the royalty buyout. The Agreement includes a mutual 4-kilometre (km) Area of Influence clause.

On April 1, 2014, Fjordland acquired an additional 2,144 ha, surrounding the Heffley Property, which now totals 4084 hectares.

The programs, which are a follow up to last year's approximately $800,000 work programs, will include approximately 2,500 metres (m) of diamond drilling, approximately 2,000 m of trenching and geological mapping and prospecting over the entire property. Fjordland will be the operator of the project.

At Dillard West, drilling will test for additional mineralization, including possible depth extensions of mineralization in holes that bottomed in mineralization during Placer Dome's 1991 historic diamond drilling program (2030 m in 11 holes) on the Dill (Primer South) property. Drilling in 1991 intersected 207 m grading 0.25% Cu. A limited 2013 diamond drilling program by Fjordland, consisting of 1,558 m in four deep holes, included an assay interval of 403 m grading 0.136% Cu and 71.6 ppb Au, including 158.5 m grading 0.201% Cu and 93.7 ppb Au. Numerous other intersections of copper and gold mineralization were reported in a news release dated October 24, 2013. Much more drilling is required to establish the size, geometry and tenor of the copper and gold mineralization. The Dillard West target, measuring approximately 1,400 m by 1,200 m, includes coincident induced polarization (IP) chargeability and copper and gold in soils anomalies. Chalcopyrite, pyrite and minor bornite mineralization occurs within altered Nicola Group andesitic rocks and coeval intrusive dioritic rocks.

At Dillard East, two reconnaissance diamond drill holes completed in 2013 by Fjordland tested an IP chargeability and metal factor anomaly. The area tested was only a small portion of the 2,000 m by 1,500 m target; several other areas with coincident copper and gold soil anomalies remain to be tested, including an area where a grab sample assaying 1.64% copper was obtained in 2011.

Er sei überzeugt, dass Gold 2015 substanziell steigen werde – um vielleicht 30%, erklärte der Autor des Gloom Boom Doom Report auf einer Veranstaltung der Société Générale in London.

Er glaube, dass die große Überraschung dieses Jahres der Zusammenbruch des Vertrauens der Anleger in die Zentralbanken sein werde, so Faber.

Fjordland Exploration Inc. has appointed Mark Kolebaba as the inaugural member of an advisory committee.

Mr. Kolebaba has a diverse mineral exploration background including extensive diamond exploration experience both in Canada and internationally. He was employed by BHP Billiton from 1993 to 2002 at a senior project level and subsequently served as president and chief executive officer of Diamonds North Resources Ltd. from 2002 to 2013.

While employed by BHP, Mr. Kolebaba worked at the Ekati diamond mine for four years and was an integral part of the team that co-discovered the first 120 kimberlites on the property.

He subsequently contributed to all aspects of diamond exploration, including feasibility of the Koala and Panda mine feasibility studies. From 1997 to 2002, BHP utilized his services in extensive international exploration projects including Russia, Australia and Botswana. Subsequently as president and CEO of Diamonds North, a project generator, that company became the second-largest diamond-focused mineral tenure holder in Canada's north. This company, under Mr. Kolebaba's guidance, raised more than $30-million in capital and attracted an additional $20-million in third party project financing through joint ventures with BHP, Rio Tinto, Teck Cominco and numerous junior companies. Discoveries included many diamondiferous kimberlites on Victoria Island and the identification of an entirely new diamondiferous field near Pelly Bay.

wird jetzt drauf ankommen, was das beträchtl. expl.- programm fürs VB- proj.

FJORDLAND, COMMANDER AND HIGH POWER EXPLORATION BEGIN DRILLING AT SOUTH VOISEY'S BAY NICKEL-COBALT PROJECT, LABRADOR

Fjordland Exploration Inc. and project partners Commander Resources Ltd. and privately owned High Power Exploration Inc. have begun the 2018 phase 1 drill program at the company's South Voisey's Bay project, located in Labrador, Canada. The work is being financed by High Power Exploration, which also is providing technical support.

The initial program will comprise 1,300 metres of core drilling in six to eight holes, as well as property-wide geological mapping and additional target assessment...........
