Skyworks Solutions Inc. has been one of the outright best performing S&P 500 stocks so far in 2015. Even farther back, over the past year, the stock has in fact grown about 170%. The question to ask is whether that growth is expected to remain or to slow. Analysts across the board are incredibly bullish on Skyworks, and the company is experiencing rapid earnings and revenue growth. Still, can Skyworks keep running ever higher?
Basically, Skyworks is an innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors. Leveraging core technologies, Skyworks supports automotive, broadband, wireless infrastructure, energy management, GPS, industrial, medical, military, wireless networking, smartphone and tablet applications. Previously, the company announced that it is ramping front-end modules, wireless connectivity switches, power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers and power management solutions for streaming media and smart TV applications supporting OEMs such as Roku, Google, Amazon and Samsung. RBC highlighted that Skyworks would have a strong 2015 ahead of it due to its focus.
The theme here is that Skyworks has very little exposure to the personal computing-market and deals more with the Internet of Things (IoT). This has partially played to the company’s favor as it has not been hurt by the fall in PCs.
The Merrill Lynch team is very bullish on the stock, as evidenced by the much higher earnings estimates the firm has for 2016. The analyst is at $5.98 per share for the year, versus Wall Street’s $5.65. Merrill Lynch explains this meteoric growth by pointing to the new product pipeline and content, which include the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S6 and Apple Watch.

Skyworks Solutions (SWKS - Get Report): In an exclusive interview, Cramer sat down with David Aldrich, Skyworks' chairman and CEO to see just why this stock is up over 800% since Cramer first recommended it in July 2009.
Aldrich said that with the Internet of Things expected to reach over 70 billion devices, the future is all about connectivity, connecting all those devices to the network, whether it's via Wi-Fi, cellular or other wireless technology. That's why Skyworks chips are in everything from thermostats and gaming consoles to routers, cars and just about every cell phone currently being made.
Aldrich explained that with the latest 4G technology, communications chips have gotten extremely complicated and that means fewer companies can deliver the goods. That's why Skyworks now has the lion's share of the smartphone market.
When asked about growth potential, Aldrich pointed out that 4G deployment in China has only just begun, and as the rollout continues, it means not only more chips being sold, but also higher margins on every chip the company sells.

Sehr symphatisch wirkt Hr. Cramer - USA, CNBC, nicht gerade auch mich. Nunja, mir erscheinen seinen Statements z.T. etwas zu vollmundig. Er preist Skywork jedenfalls schon länger an. Hier ein paar Zeilen aus Yahoo - finance:

Wenn man sich den Chart ansieht, dann muss man ja glauben, dass sie bald abstuerzt! ? Wird aber wohl als Ausstatter fuer NFC und IoT wohl weiter wachsen. Wäre schön, wenn sie ein wenig zurueck kommt, wuerde gerne einsteigen ! Gruß B.
Hallo Ernestof,du hattest ja fuer NXP eher ne Seitwärtsbewegung prognostiziert. naja, heute satt im plus. Ich denke, hier haben noch lange nicht alle registriert, was es mit der Fusion auf sich hat.
