      WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Skyworks Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: SWKS), an innovator of high performance analog semiconductors enabling a broad range of end markets, today announced that its Board of Directors has adopted a dividend policy pursuant to which the Company intends to pay quarterly cash dividends on its common stock. Subject to declaration by the Board of Directors, the Company plans to initiate a quarterly dividend of $0.11 per share sometime within its third fiscal quarter of 2014, which begins on April 1, 2014.

Revenue for the quarter was $505.2 million, up 11 percent year-over-year and 6 percent sequentially.

      On a non-GAAP basis, operating income for the first fiscal quarter of 2014 was $141.8 million, up 24 percent from $114.8 million in the first fiscal quarter of 2013. Non-GAAP diluted earnings per share for the first fiscal quarter was $0.67 compared to $0.55 for the prior year first fiscal quarter. On a GAAP basis, operating income for the first fiscal quarter of 2014 was $116.0 million and diluted earnings per share was $0.49.
