Hallo zusammen,

hier ist auch schon der Hund begraben...
Dafür, dass es sich um den weltweit drittgrößten Goldproduzenten aus Südafrika handelt und nicht um irgendeinen windigen Explorer...

Weiß zufällig jemand aus der Gemeinschaft, wo es noch weitere Threads zu dem Wert gibt?
Gibt es eigentlich noch OS o. KOs auf steigende Kurse zu dieser Aktie?
Finde hierzu leider auch nichts.
Danke schon einmal!

Abgesehen von der richtig hohen Verschuldung des Unternehmens, werden ergebnismäßig bestimmt wieder bessere Zeiten bevorstehen. Der Goldpreis muss aber wieder nach oben tendieren.

In trading on Wednesday, shares of AngloGold Ashanti Ltd (NYSE: AU) entered into oversold territory, changing hands as low as $9.32 per share. We define oversold territory using the Relative Strength Index, or RSI, which is a technical analysis indicator used to measure momentum on a scale of zero to 100. A stock is considered to be oversold if the RSI reading falls below 30.

In the case of AngloGold Ashanti Ltd, the RSI reading has hit 29.8 — by comparison, the universe of metals and mining stocks covered by Metals Channel currently has an average RSI of 45.3, the RSI of Spot Gold is at 42.5, and the RSI of Spot Silver is presently 47.9.

Looking at a chart of one year performance (below), AU’s low point in its 52 week range is $7.45 per share, with $18.69 as the 52 week high point — that compares with a last trade of $9.42. AngloGold Ashanti Ltd shares are currently trading down about 1.9% on the day.


During Q4 FY14, AngloGold Ashanti's revenues declined by $150 million from $1.47 billion in Q4 FY13. The company's Q4 FY14 production declined 6% to 1.156 million ounce (Moz) from 1.229Moz in Q4 FY13, but was still better than guidance of 1.10Moz-1.14Moz. In the reported quarter, the company total cash costs fell by 3% Y-o-Y to $724/oz, well ahead of guidance of $800/oz to $820/oz. Furthermore, the all-in sustaining costs came in at $1,017/oz in Q4 FY14 compared to $1,015/oz in Q4 FY13.

In FY14, AngloGold Ashanti's revenues declined by $330 million from $5.71 billion in FY13. The company's FY14 revenues outperformed Bloomberg analysts' forecast of $5.22 billion. AngloGold Ashanti's production rose 8% to 4.436Moz in FY14 from 4.105Moz in FY13, and was within guidance of 4.2Moz to 4.5Moz. During FY14, the company total cash costs fell by 5% to $787/oz from $830/oz in FY13 and were within guidance of $740/oz to $790/oz. Furthermore, AngloGold Ashanti's all-in sustaining costs declined by 13% to $1,026/oz in FY14 from $1,174/oz in FY13.


Newmont Mining (NYSE:NEM) is in exclusive talks with AngloGold Ashanti (NYSE:AU) as it moves closer toward clinching a deal to buy the latter's Cripple Creek & Victor gold mine in Colorado, Reuters reports.
If AU agrees to a sale, the asset is likely to fetch a price in the $700M-$800M range, according to the report, which would be well below the $1B initially speculated by analysts.
Others that may still re-enter the bidding if NEM fails to strike a deal are Canadian miners Iamgold (NYSE:IAG), Kinross (NYSE:KGC), Goldcorp (NYSE:GG) and Yamana (NYSE:AUY); Hecla Mining (NYSE:HL) has said it looked at the mine but decided against making a bid for it.
AU said in April it was seeking a partner or buyer for the mine as it attempts to cut $3.1B in debt; Cripple Creek & Victor is an open pit mine that produced 211K oz. of gold and 110K oz. of silver in 2014.
