die reden schon immer in den höchsten Tönen von Osisko, weil die da wohl selber drinstecken... Sibanye loben sie auch immer in den Himmel und rufen lustige Kursziele aus, und schau Dir den Kurs an... Ich würde das mit Vorsicht genießen, nur meine pers Meinung. Bin bei Osisko aber selber auch investiert.

schwieriger Markt aktuell.... die Zahlen von Royal Gold fand ich auch gut, haben aber dem Kurs nix genützt... wobei Osisko grundsätzlich gut aufgestellt ist, meiner Meinung nach...🤔

die Zahlen sind in der Tat nicht schlecht.... hier nochmal in deutsch:

Dividende wird auch leicht erhöht, ist aber insgesamt nach wie vor auf eher niedrigem Niveau, zumal die kanadische QSt auch noch runtergeht...

Osisko Announces Q4 2023 GEO Deliveries, Record Cash Margin and Reduced Debt Balance


MONTRÉAL, Jan. 08, 2024 -- Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. (the "Corporation" or "Osisko") (OR: TSX & NYSE) is pleased to provide an update on its fourth quarter 2023 deliveries, revenues and cash margin, as well as on its cash and debt positions as of December 31st, 2023. All monetary amounts included in this report are expressed in Canadian dollars, unless otherwise noted.

PRELIMINARY Q4 2023 RESULTS

Osisko earned 23,275 attributable gold equivalent ounces1 ("GEOs") in the fourth quarter of 2023, for a total of 94,323 GEOs in 2023, representing record annual deliveries for the Corporation. Osisko's year-over-year GEOs earned increased by 6% in 2023 but fell slightly short of the low end of the 2023 guidance range of 95,000-105,000 GEOs.

Osisko recorded preliminary revenues from royalties and streams of $65.2 million during the fourth quarter and preliminary cost of sales (excluding depletion) of $4.0 million, resulting in a record quarterly cash margin2 of approximately $61.2 million (or 94%).

For the full year 2023, preliminary revenues from royalties and streams reached a record $247.3 million and preliminary cost of sales (excluding depletion) are estimated at $16.6 million, resulting in a record annual cash margin2 of approximately $230.7 million (or 93%), a year-over-year increase of 14%.

As at December 31st, 2023, Osisko's cash position was approximately $67.7 million, following the sale of its entire equity position in Osisko Mining Inc. and a subsequent $136.0 million repayment on the Corporation's revolving credit facility. The Corporation's revolving credit facility was drawn by approximately $191.9 million at the end of 2023, with an additional amount of $358.1 million available to be drawn plus the uncommitted accordion of up to $200 million.

Osisko Gold Royalties Announces Sale of Common Shares of Osisko Mining for Gross Proceeds of C$132 Million

MONTRÉAL, Dec. 13, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. (OR) (“Osisko” or the “Corporation”) (OR: TSX & NYSE) announced today that it has sold 50,023,569 common shares of Osisko Mining Inc. (“Osisko Mining”) (OSK: TSX) pursuant to a bought block trade with National Bank Financial and BMO Capital Markets for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately C$132,000,000.

Following the transaction the Corporation no longer holds any common shares of Osisko Mining. The Corporation continues to hold its 2.0 to 3.0% NSR royalty on the Windfall Gold Project (“Windfall”) and the surrounding property, held by a 50/50 joint-venture partnership between Osisko Mining and Gold Fields Limited (“Gold Fields”).

Immediately prior to the transaction, Osisko owned 50,023,569 common shares of Osisko Mining, representing approximately 13.3% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Osisko Mining on a non-diluted basis. Osisko disposed of the common shares in the ordinary course of business. Osisko held its common shares for investment purposes and, following the transaction, Osisko no longer holds any common shares of Osisko Mining. Osisko disposed of the common shares at a price per share equal to C$2.63, net of any applicable commissions.

nachdem jetzt roosen raus ist und der schock vom rauswurf singh verdaut wurde kann es jetzt weiter gehen.

meiner meinung nach wurde attew installiert und roosen nach dem streit mit singh zum gehen "überredet".
attew ist ein erfolgreicher verkäufer und hat dies schon mehrmals bewiesen.
die chancen das osisko verkauft, übernommen, merged wird sind damit so hoch wie nie.

ich kann mir hier auch einige sehr gut vorstellen.
franco ist überbewertet aber hat neuerdings probleme mit ihrer flagship mine in panama.
sie können also locker die probleme mit einer übernahme kaschieren.
übernahme in shares ist locker für beide profitabel.

royal gold genau das selbe.
der letzte große deal ist geplatzt und der bear creek royalty war viel zu teuer für das was dort die nächsten 10 jahre passiert.

triple flag muss zusehen die bewertung hinzubekommen. um die 1 nav ist sinnlos im royalty bereich.
wer größer wird bekommt fast automatisch auch die bessere bewertung.
scale is key. franco hat hier zb. über 2 nav.
triple flag wäre ein top merger kandidat.
die haben dank elliott auch die entsprechende wall street unterstützung im hintergrund.

und für diese firmen ist es auch derzeit eigentlich billiger die firmen zu übernehmen anstatt große neue royalties zu kaufen.
diese sind viel zu teuer und auf derzeitigem niveau schon fast unwirtschaftlich.

sandstorm merger wäre auch interessant aber das wäre wohl ohne aufschlag und erst langfristig gewinnbringend für beide.
bei sandstorm müsste auch das management weg, die haben über die letzten jahre zuviel scheiße gebaut und liegen gelassen.
keine ahnung aber wer sich dann dort durchsetzen würde

Osisko Gold Royalties (NYSE:OR) said Wednesday it named Jason Attew as its new President and CEO, effective no later than January 2, replacing interim CEO Paul Martin.

Attew will bring nearly 30 years of experience in the mining industry to the position, most recently as President and CEO of Liberty Gold and previously as President and CEO of Gold Standard Ventures until its acquisition by Orla Mining; he also has served as CFO at Goldcorp.

Martin had served as interim CEO since July, when Sandeep Singh left the company without explanation.

Osisko (OR) also appointed Norman MacDonald as Chair of the Board, effective immediately, succeeding Sean Roosen, who will become Chair Emeritus.

Osisko Announces Royalty Transaction on the Namdini Gold Project in Ghana

MONTREAL, Oct. 30, 2023 - Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. (the "Corporation" or "Osisko") (OR: TSX & NYSE) is pleased to announce that it has acquired a 1.0% net smelter return ("NSR") royalty (the "Royalty") covering the Namdini Gold Project ("Namdini") in Ghana. Osisko has closed the transaction with Savannah Mining Limited ("Savannah"), acquiring a direct interest in 50% of Savannah's 2.0% NSR royalty for total consideration of US$35 million (excluding applicable taxes and levies).

HIGHLIGHTS

Near-term gold equivalent ounces ("GEO") from a Fully-Permitted Project Currently Under Construction

Namdini is on the verge of becoming one of Western Africa's next significant producing mines with gold production over the initial three years expected to reach approximately 360,000 ounces per year, and an average 287,000 ounces per year over an initial 15-year life of mine;
First gold production from Namdini is expected in late 2024;
As of mid-October 2023, Namdini's 34.5 kV distribution power lines to site, connected to the national power grid 30km west of the project, were 99% complete; in addition, Namdini's plant bulk earthworks were 99% complete, while the CIL and Flotation tailings storage facilities were 29% and 39% complete, respectively.

Operator is a Large-Scale and Experienced Global Miner

Namdini is controlled and will be operated by Shandong Gold Co Ltd. ("Shandong"), a large-scale and well-capitalized global miner with a history of development and operational expertise;
Shandong operates Namdini through its subsidiary Cardinal Namdini Mining Limited ("Cardinal"), which is owned in partnership with a subsidiary of China Railway Construction Group Corp Ltd.

Jurisdiction with Well-Established Mining Act and Laws

Ghana is a top gold mining jurisdiction, ranked 6th in global gold production, and ranked 1st amongst African nations in 2022, based on data from the World Gold Council;
Payments associated with Ghanian Withholding and Value-Added Taxes (VAT), plus associated levies, result in an additional cash outlay by Osisko to the relevant authorities of US$7.7 million.

Osisko Granted Additional Rights

As part of the transaction Savannah has granted Osisko certain additional rights.

NAMDINI GOLD PROJECT

The Namdini Gold Project is an open-pit gold project located in Ghana, approximately 50 km southeast of the town of Bolgatanga, and close to the southern border of Burkina Faso. In January 2021, Shandong closed the A$540 million (~US$400M) acquisition of the company that owned Namdini, Cardinal Resources Inc.

An October 2019 NI 43-101 compliant Feasibility Study on Namdini, completed by Lycopodium for the previous project owner Cardinal (the "Feasibility Study"), outlined average annual gold production of 287,000 ounces over an initial 15-year mine life. The Feasibility Study also highlighted ~421,000 ounces of gold to be produced in the first 12 months of operation, and 1.1 million ounces forecasted in the first 3 years of full production. The total Proven and Probable Ore Reserve in the Feasibility Study was estimated at 138.6 Mt at 1.13 g/t Au with a contained gold content of 5.1 Moz. Of this total, 92% of the contained gold was within the Probable Ore Reserve category.

The Feasibility Study also highlighted the development of a single open-pit mine feeding a conventional crushing, SAG mill, regrind, high shear oxidation and CIL circuits, with development expected to initially focus on a high-grade starter pit area towards the north of the deposit.

Stornoway hats wieder erwicht...da fallen wieder ne menge GEOs weg

MONTRÉAL, Oct. 27, 2023 /CNW/ - Stornoway Diamonds (Canada) Inc. (the "Company" or "Stornoway") announces today that it is temporarily suspending operations at its Renard mine located in Nord-du-Québec, in the Cree territory of Eeyou Istchee, effective immediately.

The growing uncertainty of the diamond price in the short and medium term, coupled with the significant and sudden drop in the price of the resource on the world market, have had a major impact on the Company's long-term financial situation. This was in part due to the halt in the import of rough diamonds to India and by the global geopolitical climate.

Stornoway is placing the Renard mine in a "Care and Maintenance" phase to preserve the assets and facilitate a rapid return to normal operations. About 75 employees will be assigned to these tasks.

Stornoway has also begun the process of placing itself under the protection of the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act to enable it to restructure its business and turn around its financial situation. The appointment of Deloitte Restructuring inc. is also being sought from the Court to act as Monitor and supervise the restructuring process.

The Company is implementing a process for soliciting investment and sale proposals under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act.

Wieder einmal Top-Zahlen, z.B. 24.645 GEOS - das ist ein 11%iger Anstieg gegenüber dem Vorjahresquartal. Deutliches Wachstum auch bei den anderen Kennzahlen.

Wie schon im 1. Quartal, wird es wieder eine Quartalsdividende in Höhe von $0.06 geben, zahlbar am 16. Oktober 2023.
