Ich hatte mal auch so grüne Aktien,die hießen GreenShift.Das waren auch nich wenige.Ohne eine einzige Aktie zu verkaufen habe ich gar keine mehr.
Ist das nich toll.
Das einzigste was die wirklich gut konnten waren Reservesplitts.

AXPW Designated As Supplier Of Energy Storage And Frequency Regulation For 9.1 MW Pennsylvania Solar Farm

NEW CASTLE, Pa., Oct. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Axion Power International, Inc. (Nasdaq: AXPW, AXPWW), a developer of advanced lead-carbon PbC® batteries, energy storage systems and frequency regulation systems, today announced it has been designated as the supplier of energy storage and frequency regulation for a solar farm that, when finished, will be the largest in Pennsylvania. The Coatesville Solar Initiative (CSI) announced its choice of Axion Power and its PbC® technology and batteries for the 48-acre project. Axion Power PbC PowerCube™ technology has been admitted to connect with the 13-state PJM power grid, and brings that certification to the CSI project.

Phase I & II of the multi-phased project is comprised of two 2.4 megawatt (DC) solar facilities, generating approximately 6.3 million kilowatt hours which CSI has contractually agreed to sell Coatesville Area School District (CASD) through a 25-year solar power purchase agreement (SPPA). According to CSI, when completed, the 9.1 megawatt solar farm will be the largest solar park facility in Pennsylvania.

Bob Keares, a Coatesville native is the managing partner and president of Keares Electrical Contracting, Inc. in Exton, a firm that has installed numerous commercial and residential solar projects in its 41 years in business. Keares Electrical Contracting has been impressed with the Axion PbC battery technology and management team since first being introduced to the company over two years ago; Keares toured the Axion New Castle, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility in January 2013.

"Axion has proven to be a significant resource to CSI, and Keares Electrical Contracting, the past two plus years," says Keares. Axion Power has recently completed an essential round of financing and concurrently uplisted to the Nasdaq Capital Market. Both of those events were critical milestones in Axion's path to potential future success; we needed the money for operations, and we needed the Nasdaq listing for our shareholders. Although we had to overcome challenges in both the timing and nature of the financing itself, we got it done. If you recall we first filed our S-1 on Friday Aug 8th, 2014. And through our diligent efforts, the fundraising finally closed on Oct 29th, 2014. Now we have some runway to go forward, and to make the most efficient use of the funds raised, we have revised our business plan to focus more closely on fewer markets, while keeping the longer reaching R&D programs intact. We will keep two goals squarely in front of us as we go forward, PbC revenue growth and total supply chain expense control.

You have probably read the news about our designation as the supplier of energy storage and frequency regulation for the Coatesville Solar Initiative (CSI). CSI is a major project that is about midway between Philadelphia and Lancaster in the town of Coatesville. When it is completed it is our understanding that it will be, at 9.1 megawatts, the largest solar farm in Pennsylvania.

The Coatesville solar farm will be about 285 times the size of the Navy Yard Net Zero Project, which was installed in 2012. The first Axion "mini-Cube" ever installed at a customer location is in the Net Zero Project at the Visitors Center in the Washington DC Navy Yard, and as the name indicates, the Net Zero building generates all the energy it needs – or more. It is connected to a 32kW PV solar array. Also, the CSI project is considerably larger than the solar PV system in New Jersey for which Axion has supplied energy storage, and is in the final stages of bringing frequency regulation online. That gives you an idea of the upward trajectory our capabilities are taking.

The Coatesville solar farm will be empowered by its Axion PowerCube to tie directly into the PJM grid, which powers all or part of 13 states and the District of Columbia. PJM is widely considered to be the "gold standard" of power grids in the United States. The PowerCube and direct PJM access will enable CSI to participate in "frequency regulation," which is often referred to as the "Demand Response" or "DR" market. We believe the DR activities will shorten the payback time of the CSI project as a whole, because it will create a revenue stream from PJM in frequency regulation. Frequency regulation corrects for short-term changes in electricity use that might affect the stability of the power system. It helps match generation and load and adjusts generation output to maintain a desired frequency.

Simply speaking, you could think of frequency regulation as keeping your electrical power at exactly the right strength to optimize everything you want to plug into a power source.

As we go forward, frequency regulation will be one of our most important markets. If you search "frequency regulation" on bing.com, you'll find over 7 million hits. It is a big market that involves every private and public electric utility, as well as every entity that generates electricity, no matter how they do it. Our PbC technology is ideally suited for frequency regulation because of its inherent strengths in areas such as speed of charge and discharge, its built-in capability to equalize loads, its comparatively long battery life, and the ability of the batteries to operate in a partial state of charge. We can house the battery system in a cube, or configure it in a building.

Of course we will also be working on the renewable energy market – solar energy being the main focus for now. We anticipate that solar energy may very often be coupled with frequency regulation – but there will be frequency regulation opportunities that do not include energy generation, just as the PowerCube at our headquarters in New Castle is not partnered with energy generation.

In addition, we have established two potential opportunities in transportation, upon which we intend to focus in the upcoming months as an adjunct to our frequency regulation and renewable energy initiatives. The railroad industry is an ideal market for PbC batteries, and we believe Norfolk Southern when they say in their annual report that they intend to build more hybrid electric locomotives powered by PbC batteries. This has been slow to develop but there is one locomotive still being tested in their Altoona, PA rail yard.

Our work with ePower Energy Systems on heavy duty trucks has proven that a hybridized truck "tractor" can save meaningful dollars by increasing MPG of diesel, while reducing CO2 emissions. More importantly, we believe PbC can accomplish that goal with a specific design that would conveniently fit in the heavy duty truck.

The plan will be to focus sales on working with renewables and those potential customers who see the financial advantages of frequency regulation. We are considering and evaluating the identified targets to pursue. I expect we will need a partnership approach to be successful, and I am personally spearheading our efforts to build the best team of partners possible and to focus their efforts on the projects described in this letter.

I want to assure you that we understand the value of our current financial resources. We are going to focus our attention on PbC revenue, manufacturing, customer engineering, and trying to develop strategic partnerships. Expense control means we are bringing down the burn rate significantly. The contract manufacturing that we have been doing for a major lead-acid battery company ended in the second quarter of 2014. We anticipated that would happen, and reduced the workforce accordingly. We have not heard of other opportunities to contract lead-acid batteries in recent months.

Our overall revenue – which had been largely from that contract manufacturing – will diminish. Our intent is to build revenue back up with PbC and PowerCube system sales in order to establish the value proposition of the Lead Carbon technology in the global battery industry.

We will be going forward with an Axion Power team that will be leaner and more focused on being a technology company in the power storage and frequency regulation markets. Don't think of Axion Power as a battery company. Our differentiation is not the batteries – it is the IP inside those batteries to be manufactured. We can and will consider license opportunities to other battery companies. The thought all along was to be the "activated total carbon electrode" company that sells a high-value component to battery companies all over the world.

Axion Power International, Inc. (Nasdaq: AXPW) ( "AXION"), a developer of advanced lead-carbon PbC® batteries, energy storage systems and frequency regulation systems, today announced that on Saturday it signed a binding Letter of Intent (LOI) for a technology development and licensing program with LCB International, Inc. ("LCB"). LCB is a privately owned entity incorporated in the British Virgin Islands with its principal business office in Shanghai, China.

The LOI defines and confirms the intent of the parties to execute the final agreements within 60 days of the signing the LOI. These agreements will grant LCB the right to manufacture and sell PbC batteries and other Axion products on an exclusive basis in the People's Republic of China, Taiwan, Macao and Hong Kong ("Territory"). Axion will receive a non-refundable payment of $250,000 immediately, and further staged payments after final agreements are signed. Under the terms of the LOI, Axion would receive an aggregate of up to $10 million over a period of two years in a combination of technology license fees, the sale of convertible preferred stock and senior convertible notes. Axion would also be paid royalties for the longer of the last to expire patent licensed or up to 15 years.

Chairman Donald Farley commented, "We have completed the first step toward an important agreement for Axion Power, for LCB, and for the greater China marketplace. We are very pleased with the LOI and to be working with LCB to achieve production of our advanced carbon electrodes on a commercial scale and the planned development of specialized PbC-based products for China. soll Tesla und BMW Interesse haben, klingen für mich sehr überzeugend.
Da kommt noch mehr, bleibe langfristig dabei.

Heiko halt mal die Finger etwas still okay.
Kurs hält sich verdammt stabil heute obwohl Freitag kein abverkauf.
Es fehlt nur noch eine Pressemitteilung das alles unter Dach und Fach ist.
Dann geht der Kurs schon ganz allein wo er hin muss auch ohne R/S
Und wenn R/S kommt auch nicht weiter schlimm durch den geringen free flout kann der kurs noch schneller steigen.

das Gute ist, dass die meisten die auf Gewinnen saßen spätestens heute die Nerven verloren haben und geschmissen haben, viele mit hohen Verlusten. Das Volumen über 0,18$ war auch extrem hoch.
Jetzt wird irgendwo konsolidiert und irgendwann covern die Shorts wieder. Volumen ist heute gar nicht mal so hoch mit 12 Mio Shares.

The last couple of months have been filled with positive events for your Company and I would like to provide a brief update.

First, a word of thanks to all who provided positive votes for the reverse split of the Company's common equity and for election of directors.

The reverse split has been decided at a 35:1 ratio and should allow a trading level consistent with NASDAQ regulations. Also, a note of thanks to the B warrants holders who agreed to a fixed lower limit of $.10/share on their conversions. Both of these actions help the Company to move ahead and achieve its strategic plan.

The Company was pleased to convene its annual meeting at the Greenridge manufacturing site on June 17, 2015. This is the site where the Company will install equipment for its future generations of carbon electrode production and the site where current carbon electrode products are made. Important presentations made at the meeting included a financial update, comments regarding the Company's recent history and transition to a startup mode of thinking, and a collaborative outreach to best achieve commercialization, and a presentation of the general marketing plan ahead. On June 15, 2015 we were most pleased to announce a binding letter of intent with LCB, a China-based investment group, detailing a major transaction involving a license agreement for business in China and Taiwan , an equity investment by LCB and a significant convertible loan to enable the installation of equipment for the production of electrodes via our Gen IV technology. This funding will also allow additional research for further advancing the Company's proprietary PbC® technology. This is a significant event for the Company and a partnership with much promise. We are in the 60-day negotiating period to finalize agreements noted in the binding letter of intent. LCB has paid the earnest fee and negotiations are in progress.

Finally, and in keeping with the Company's desire to have more control of its commercial opportunities, a lease option has been agreed for a Pennsylvania industrial site where a 12MW frequency regulation unit might be installed. With the site option in hand, the Company will, in the third quarter of 2015, seek approval for 2MW and 10MW projects with the former hopefully on a fast track.

The Company can design, build and operate units based on the learnings from its Power Cube work. Financial partners will be invited to participate once the approvals are received.

We believe that the recent accomplishments provide tangible evidence that the Company is indeed on a more effective commercial pathway. AXPW Clarifies The Treatment Of Its Class A And Class B Warrants As A Result Of The 1:35 Reverse Stock Split

NEW CASTLE, Pa., July 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Axion Power International, Inc. (Nasdaq: AXPW) ("AXION"), a developer of advanced lead-carbon PbC® batteries, energy storage systems and frequency regulation systems, today announced that it has effected a 1-for-35 reverse stock split previously approved by the Company's stockholders at a special meeting held on June 17, 2015. The 1-for-35 reverse stock split was effective as of the close of business on July 13, 2015 and the Company's common stock began trading on a split-adjusted basis on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

The Company's Class A Warrants, which also trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "AXPWW", were also subject to the reverse split and began trading on a split-adjusted basis on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. The new CUSIP Number for the Class A Warrants is 05460X 133, and any fractional Class A Warrants post split will be adjusted to the nearest whole number. The reverse split reduced the number of Class A Warrants from 2,156,520 to approximately 61,615 Class A Warrants on a post split basis. As a result of the reverse split, the exercise price of the Class A Warrants increased from $.50 per share to $17.50 per share.

However, the Company's Class B Warrants will not be subject to the reverse split, so that there are still 609,446 Class B Warrants on a post split basis. Instead, the 1:35 reverse split will be factored into the equation at the time of exercise of the Class B Warrants (in other words, on a cash exercise basis, each Class B Warrant is exercisable into 1/35 of a share of Company common stock). As a result of the reverse split, the cash exercise price of the Class B Warrants increased from $3.25 per share to $113.75 per share, and the $0.10 number in the "market price" definition in the "further cashless exercise" provision for the Class B Warrants (Section 3.3.2.1 of the Warrant Agreement) has been adjusted to $3.50.

Axion Power Completes Private Placement for $9 Million in Senior Convertible Notes with Warrants

Maxim Group LLC acted as sole placement agent in connection with the transaction.

At closing, Axion will receive approximately $1.60 million in proceeds, net of placement fees and expenses, and will receive seven subsequent monthly tranches in the principal amount of $1,000,000 each and an eighth monthly tranche in the principal amount of $150,000. The notes carry interest at 9% per annum and have a twelve-month amortization schedule with interest beginning at closing and can be paid, at the Company's option, in cash or in discounted registered shares, assuming certain equity conditions set forth in the notes are met. In addition, the investors are entitled to convert the note, or any portion of the note, into shares, utilizing the 105% 'premium to market' price determined at closing ($1.23). The investors are also entitled to approximately 150% warrant coverage in 24-month warrants, with an exercise price equal to the lower of 110% of the market price at closing ($1.29) and 85% of the market price at the time of exercise. Any funds received from warrant exercise to common stock would be incremental to the offering.

We are soliciting your consent to authorize our board of directors to (i) effectuate, in its discretion, an amendment to our Certificate of Incorporation, as amended, to effectuate a reverse stock split (the “Reverse Stock Split”) of our issued and outstanding common stock, par value $0.005 per share, by a ratio of no less than one-for-one hundred (such that for every one hundred shares issued and outstanding prior to such split one share will remain after such split)and no more than one-for-four hundred (such that for every four hundred shares issued and outstanding prior to such split one share will remain after such split) at any time prior to December 31, 2016, with possible special treatment (if approved by our board of directors) for certain of our stockholders to preserve round lot holders if so authorized by our board of directors. Initial 100 Days as CEO
June 8, 2016

May 10, 2016 marked my 100th day as CEO of Axion Power International, Inc., and I pause to take stock of our accomplishments as a result of our whirlwind of activity and to give you broad brush strokes of what I envision as productive activity in the coming months.

Business Model Transition

Axion Power is rapidly transitioning to an energy storage royalty/licensing technology company. To that end, we are actively in discussions with several organizations around the world and I would expect the second half of 2016 to be very exciting.

The Axion Power Brand

Building on the theory that you never get a second chance to make a first impression, I quickly undertook to review the Axion Power brand image, specifically targeting the trademarked logo and overall brand messaging of the Company. It was immediately evident that we needed to make changes in order to have consistency and promote commercialization of our products to the consumer market. In April, I signed an agreement with Washington, D.C. based Global Vision Communications to begin work on a logo redesign, a website refresh, marketing materials and media outreach. I am excited to have Global Vision, which has produced successful campaigns for companies such as FedEx, Visa and the United States Chamber of Commerce, fully behind the Axion story. We have unveiled our new logo, and we have refreshed our website, making it more user-friendly, providing clear messaging and maintaining consistency with the new logo and color palette in place.

Increased Communication and Media Outreach

Working with our team, and that of Global Vision, I have increased communication efforts with the goal of keeping shareholders better and more timely informed. This effort began with the announcement of a partnership with Advanced Battery Concepts, LLC. to test the impact of Axion's proprietary PbC® negative electrode technology within Advanced Battery Concepts' GreenSeal® bipolar battery. Since February, Axion Power has released seven update commentaries and appeared in the news regularly as a result of this ongoing communications effort, including a recent story in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Renewed Negotiations with LCB International, Inc. in China

I traveled to China the week of May 15, at the invitation of LCB International, Inc. to renew discussion about the joint effort to commercialize PbC® Technology and to meet with other potential joint venture partners in China. This meeting revived conversations that ceased in October of 2015. And the Chinese group is set to visit New Castle early this summer, pending travel approvals by the Chinese government for several executives.

Launched First Consumer Product

We initiated Axion Power's entry into the commercial U.S. market with the launch of our first consumer focused product. The Do-It-Yourself Off-Grid Light Kit was made available online in May, allowing consumers to purchase a solar powered lighting system and install it without an expert technician. The light kit is ideal for use in parking lots, farms, college campuses, outbuildings, parks or residential spaces in need of additional outdoor lighting. As we grow our footprint in the commercial market, we look forward to the coming release of a PbC® Battery powered residential energy storage unit.

Continued Dialogue with Battery Testing Organizations

Our communication is ongoing with several battery testing organizations in Europe and the United States. These opportunities provide the possibility of testing the PbC® Technology under new test models and determining new applications for the PbC® Battery. As conversations continue, we look forward to new applications and fruitful business relationships.

Effective July 14, 2016, Axion Power International, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the "Company") with the approval from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) has authorized a reverse stock split of One for Four Hundred (1:400) of its total issued and outstanding shares of common stock (the "Stock Split"). The Stock Split decreased our total issued and outstanding shares of common stock from 71,452,185 to 178,631 shares of common stock. The common stock will continue to be $0.005 par value. The Stock Split shares are payable upon surrender of certificates to the Company's transfer agent. Fractional shares will be rounded to the nearest whole number.

The Reverse Split becomes effective with the OTCQB on July 15, 2016, under the symbol “AXPWD”. The “D” will be placed on our ticker symbol for 20 business days. After 20 business days, our ticker symbol will revert back to its original symbol “AXPW.” Our new CUSIP number is 05460X406. The Reverse Stock Split did not affect the number or exercise price of our Series A Warrants, and as set forth in the Warrants, the number of shares into which a warrant shall be exerciseable shall be divided by 400.

Axion Power Enters into Letter of Intent on Licensing of PbC® Technology in Greater China and North America

Axion to Receive Down Payment of $250,000 and a Technology Fee of $5 Million over First 24 Months Plus Future Royalties

NEW CASTLE, Pa., Nov. 01, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

Axion Power International, Inc. (OTCQB:AXPW) has entered into a Tri-Party Letter of Intent with Fengfan Co. Ltd. of Baoding, China (SH. 600482) and LCB International Inc. of BVI, regarding the sale of Axion's PbC® technology in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau to Fengfan and LCB, along with non-exclusive licensing rights in North America.

A culminating event after many months of negotiation, the Letter of Intent, jointly signed by all parties on October 31, 2016, calls for a $5 million cash infusion into Axion over a 24-month period. As a result of the signing of this Letter of Intent, Fengfan will make an initial cash down payment of $250,000 to Axion by December 1, 2016 upon receiving regulatory approvals.

It is expected that this non-dilutive cash infusion, along with Axion's successful cost cutting measures, will lay a strong foundation for the company's ability to complete other major licensing agreements currently in development internationally.

Concurrent with the signing of this Letter of Intent and the receipt of the $250,000, the three parties are targeting a definitive Tri-Party Agreement by the end of January 2017. Once finalized, quarterly payments to Axion are anticipated to begin in the First Quarter of 2017. Then, starting one year following achievement of agreed-upon PbC volume production goals, or agreed-to PbC battery performance and cost objectives, Axion will receive a royalty of two percent of Fengfan's net sales of PbC batteries in Greater China and North America, with a guaranteed annual minimum of $1 million.

Dr. WJ Gesang, principal of LCB, said, "LCB is glad to bring together Axion and Fengfan in this tri-party strategic partnership. The collaboration will fully leverage the complementary strengths of the three partners to achieve commercial scale applications of PbC technology through a global modular innovation approach – invented in the U.S., made in China and sold around the world."

The IP package includes the sale of Axion's five PbC patents in China; nonexclusive license to its 15 PbC patents in the United States; and will give Fengfan and LCB access to all of Axion's intellectual property rights to PbC technology for use in a wide variety of applications, from automotive to energy storage.

"Fengfan aspires to be the top lead-acid battery manufacturer in China as well as the global marketplace," said Mr. Zhen Zhijun, executive vice president of Fengfan. "The PbC technology will greatly expand Fengfan's product portfolio to address many emerging market needs of high power and high rate partial state of charge applications in automotive and utility energy storage. Fengfan will take the PbC technology, invented by Axion over the past decade, into volume production at China speed and cost."

This licensing agreement is a significant success resulting from the strategic direction laid out for Axion by CEO, Richard Bogan, in February 2016, and the collaborative effort among the parties which began in May 2016.
