Playfair Mining Ltd. Property Update
Playfair Mining is pleased to report the results of ongoing work on 3 contiguous prospecting licenses in the Ox Mountains, County Sligo, Ireland. Reconnaissance prospecting of the 3 licenses previously provided exciting evidence of gold mineralization in float boulders in a virtually unexplored area containing 20 kilometers of strike length of the same major geological structure as Dalradian's multi-million ounce Curraghinalt deposit.
New work at the Cloonacool Prospect has significantly expanded the Prospect from a single boulder assaying 9.80 gpt gold to a coherent area of 1,500 metres by 500 metres containing several well mineralised boulders and an outcropping auriferous quartz vein. Eight boulders in this area range from 1.30 gpt gold to 17.2 gpt gold. An additional 14 samples in the area are anomalous in gold with values between 112 ppb and 697 ppb.
The outcropping quartz vein is about 1.5 metres wide and is approximately in the centre of the boulder field, a single sample assayed 0.66 gpt gold, a boulder within 5 metres of the vein assayed 3.57 gpt gold.
The mineralised boulders are interpreted to likely be of local derivation based on their apparent concentration within a coherent area and the outcropping mineralization.
Current fieldwork is focussed on identifying any outcropping mineralisation and/or controlling structures in the Cloonacool and Cabragh prospect areas followed by trenching as required to develop drill targets.
Playfair Mining has entered into an Option Agreement to acquire up to a 100% interest in Bowpark Exploration (Ireland) Ltd. Bowpark is a private company registered in Ireland and holds as its sole asset 3 contiguous prospecting licenses over the Ox Mountains in County Sligo, Ireland.
Richard Parker and Andy Bowden are the current owners of Bowpark and are both experienced geologists. Andy Bowden has over 40 years' experience in exploration for a wide variety of metals mainly in Ireland. He was responsible for the discovery of the Galmoy R-zone at the Galmoy zinc mine in Ireland. Up until May this year, when he retired, he sat on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Geologists of Ireland. Richard Parker has over 40 years' experience as a mineral exploration geologist and directed programs resulting in the discovery of the Cononish gold deposit in Scotland and the Tatestown zinc deposit in Ireland. He has worked in over 40 countries.
Richard Parker and Andy Bowden are carrying out and overseeing these approved exploration programs. Both are qualified persons as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and they have reviewed and approved the contents of this News Release.

bin froh , dass ich hier nicht alleine an board bin. Ich habe die Hoffnung noch nicht aufgegeben und in den letzten Tagen hat sich ja ein wenig was getan. Bin leider des englischen nicht so mächtig, könntest Du mir kurz sagen, was in dem text steht. hoffe hier doch noch auf bessere kurse

Rein vom Vorkommen und Verbrauch müsste der W-Preis viel höher sein.
Scheint mir aus politischen Gründen künstlich gedrückt zu werden.
Wenn man sich über die Anwendungsmöglichkeiten informiert gibt es massenhaft Hightec- und Militärdinge und der Werkstoff Wolfram ist sicher noch nicht
von seinen Möglichkeiten ausgeforscht.
Mit besserere Bearbeitbarkeit kommt auch immer mehr dazu, z.B.:

Six core holes have been completed to date for a total of 526 metres; all six have intersected the gold- bearing quartz vein at Cloonacool; no assays have been received to date. Results of two lines of chip samples over the outcropping quartz vein at Cloonacool showed 3.38 g/t gold over 1.20 metres comprising 5.58 g/t gold over 50 cm, and 1.80 gpt gold over 70cm. A later 50 cm (apparent width) chip sample across this vein taken by an independent geologist, Thomas Hawkins Ph.D, P.Geo returned values of 17.40 g/t gold and 8.20 g/t silver. Drillholes are tracing the gold bearing quartz vein at Cloonacool 200 metres northwesterly towards a major East-West geological structure identified by regional geophysical surveys. Playfair has only tested a very small part of a very large structure at Cloonacool. The primary focus of this 3000 meter phase of drilling is a 1.5 km long portion of the structure proximal to the gold bearing angular blocks that originally focused exploration efforts on this area and led to the discovery of gold in bedrock.
The exploration on the balance of the 4.5 km long structure will be results-driven.
To date, Playfair Mining has completed 947 metres of core drilling in 9 holes at the Cloonacool prospect, the first ever in the area, testing an area 200m by 200m to a maximum depth of 120m within the 1.5km cluster of gold bearing angular blocks. This area is associated with a fault contact which, because it contains graphite, can be tracked with geophysics for over 4km.
The drilling discovered a thick (100 to 150m), zone of silicified, bleached and altered Dalradian sediments - the Cloonacool Alteration Zone (CAZ). This discovery has increased confidence that all of the gold bearing angular blocks are derived from the CAZ which is variably gold bearing, silicified, chloritized and contains graphitic sections at its northern margin.
The hydrothermal alteration and mineralization is orogenic and, as such, is expected to continue to depth.
Gold values in excess of 1 gpt were encountered in all 9 drill holes (See NR-13, Dec. 5, 2016).
Don Moore, Playfair's CEO commented "I am extremely encouraged by results to date; we have discovered a thick zone of hydrothermal alteration with elevated gold values in a part of Ireland where, until Playfair and Bowpark's work, gold was unknown."
The one hole drilled at Cabragh overshot the intended target. Drill hole locations have now been permitted to test the geophysical conductor proximal to the cluster of gold bearing float at Cabragh.
Playfair Mining has entered into an Option Agreement to acquire up to a 100% interest in Bowpark Exploration (Ireland) Ltd. Bowpark is a private company registered in Ireland and holds as its sole asset 3 contiguous prospecting licenses over the Ox Mountains in County Sligo, Ireland.
Richard Parker and Andy Bowden are carrying out and overseeing these approved exploration programs on behalf of Playfair and Bowpark. Both are qualified persons as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and they have reviewed and approved the contents of this News Release.

Ox Mountain Project: Drilling To Resume at Cloonacool

Playfair is mobilizing a drill crew for the resumption of drilling on its Ox Mountain Prospects in County Sligo, Republic of Ireland. The drill program will focus on the CAZ (Cloonacool Alteration Zone) structure as defined by the 2016 exploration.

Mr. Brimacombe hatte schon etwas weniger Aktien, nun aber wieder aufgestockt,
auf Stand heute genau 20%. Entweder weiß der was, was andere (wir) nicht wissen,
oder er wird einen enormen Verlust machen. Wenn der Kurs nicht steigt, können
20% nie verkauft werden.
Mr. Brimacombe hatte schon etwas weniger Aktien, nun aber wieder aufgestockt,
