Napito wins Cosalá, hilarity ensues
Today and by an uncontested 121 votes, Mexican Senator and “known figure in mining” Napoleón Gómez Urrutia, a.k.a, Napito, saw the Union he controls win the right to represent workers at the Cosalá mine in Mexico owned by Americas Gold & Silver (USAS) (USA.to), the one that’s been on strike for the last seven months. And as for why hilarity will now ensue ask Darren Blasutti, because somebody has been lying through their teeth in public and we’re about to know who that is.
This story is better than any Mexican Telenovela, promise you.

Americas Gold and Silver concludes employment contract after seven months of lockdown
The Canadian miner suspended operations at the San Rafael mine in Cosalá, Sinaloa, after a group of individuals, led by Yasser Beltrán, illegally seized and blocked the facilities.
Seven months after the blockade at the San Rafael mine in Cosalá, Sinaloa, the Canadian mining company, Americas Gold and Silver, announced that it will conclude its employment contract with its more than 327 workers and keeps its operations suspended due to said blockade with losses of more than 20 million dollars, including taxes and payroll. Operations were suspended after a group of individuals, led by Yasser Beltrán, a protege of Senator Napoleón Gómez Urrutia, illegally seized and blocked the facilities. Through its subsidiary Triturados Mineros del Noreste, the mining company announced to its employees that in addition to the blockade, “there is a series of vandalism and deceptive acts that, also damaging us all, has been carried out by an individual named Yasser, who apparently he has negotiated to sell your vote to the shadowy interests of a subversive union group ”.
Therefore, he pointed out that “there are no conditions to operate without threats, extortion and violence, both the company and its own freedom of association, which had always existed until the appearance of the aforementioned nefarious characters, in addition to the economic losses so great Both the company and the workers and the community of Cosalá were affected ”. In this sense, the Mexican subsidiary collectively terminated the individual labor relations based on article 434 and other relative ones of the Federal Labor Law, given the impossibility of continuing to operate and maintain labor relations with its workers. Once the days off for the labor authorities have concluded, he announced that he will proceed to give the respective notice and exhaust the foreseen legal procedure, in order to carry out the liquidation payments to the workers that may be determined. The mining company indicated that the labor dispute is an attempted dispossession by a group of individuals, who illegally seek to seize the collective bargaining agreement and take control of other strategic decisions of the mine. The company filed various complaints with the Sinaloa prosecutor's office, however, they have not been addressed, affecting private property and the rule of law. In a previous interview, Armando Ortega, president of the Mining Task Force of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico (Cancham) commented that this case in Cosalá is an example of the economy of extortion. "A national union, through extortion and blockades, intimidates companies, people and institutions through non-legitimate means, seeks to obtain a collective contract." What matters is how you react to them through the rule of law and legal measures that can counteract this type of measure, he explained.

Americas Gold and Silver on Ramping Up to Commercial Production on the Relief Canyon Mine

Ich denke es geht bald los mit der langerhofften nachhaltigen Aufwärtsbewegung. Wenn Cosala wieder startet gehts stetig aufwärts nach meiner Meinung...
"The Company has worked with government authorities to secure a democratic election to ratify a legitimate union to represent its workers which is now set for September 9, 2020."
USD. Ohne Berücksichtigung der anderen Cosala operations.
Plus 60% von Galena, einem historischen 5 Moz / Jahr Silberproduzenten.
