Alamos Gold hat eine neue Präsentation veröffentlicht.Liest für mich nicht schlecht.

Wir werden wohl im 2. Halbjahr 2020 sehr gute Zahlen gemeldet bekommen.
Ab nächstes Jahr soll die <produktion auf ca. 236k Au- Unzen steigen. Das sind ca. 50 % mehr Unzen als 2019.

2019 wurden ca. 1250k AU-Unzen gefördert.

Northgate shaft extension

An der Erweiterung dieses Schachtes unter Alamos (IBN unter AuRico ab Oktober 2013), wurde seit mindestens 3 Jahren gearbeitet.

Immerhin erkenne ich nur eine Verzögrung von 1/2 Jahr gegenüber der Planung von Anfang 2017.

Ein Vorgänger von Alamos waren ja Northgate Minerals ( - 2011), die ab 2005 (Übernahme der Young-Davidson Mines) quasi darauf saßen, was später der Schacht in den Untergrund werden sollte. Produziert wurde in diesem Gebiet aber schon seit 1934: https://www.mindat.org/loc-205738.html

Ab 2007 wurde dort erstmals eine Exploration ramp in den Untergrund getrieben.

<der australische Teil von Northgate Minerals wurde ja später zu Kirkland Gold>

Northgate Minerals war mMn mit der technisch versierteste kanadische Goldminer seinerzeit (sie brachten z.B. die BIOX-Anlage der Fosterville Gold Mine für das dortige Sulfid-Erz ans Laufen, nachdem die Australier daran mindestens 10 Jahre lang scheiterten).

Aber die anderen (in Kanada) hatten den besseren und cleveren Zugang zu Kapital und damit wurde Northgate Minerals am Ende komplett filetiert.

Zum Thema " neue Höhe " … also ich bin hier seid an.2015 investiert und Alamos war in all der Zeit einfach nur enttäuschend, meiner Meinung nach.
Die aktuell Bewertung habe ich soweit ich mich erinnern kann noch nie gesehen. Für mich ist s quasi schon neue Höhe 😀

Eigentlich müste man mal ein Teil verkaufen oder gar ganz abstoßen weil Alamos reagiert extrem heftig wenns im Goldpreis wieder down geht und ist erfahrungsgemäß schneller wieder da wo sie hergekommen ist.

Gold might retract before moving to the next resistance at $1,800/oz, and AGI would follow suit.

An armed group stormed a gold mine in northern Mexico and stole bars of gold and silver alloy before fleeing in a light aircraft, mine operator Minas de Oro Nacional said.

Minas de Oro Nacional, a subsidiary of Canadian firm Alamos Gold Inc., said in a statement late on Wednesday that the robbery at the Mulatos mine in Sonora state occurred when a group of five “heavily armed” people assaulted security staff who were transferring bars of the precious metals onto a plane.

Within 10 minutes, the robbers loaded the goods onto a separate plane that landed alongside. The aircraft, which appeared to be a Cessna 206, then took off towards a mountain range, Minas de Oro Nacional said. It did not detail the amount or value of the stolen bars.

The Miners’ Association of Sonora (AMSAC) said the incident was the second recent robbery at a Sonora mine, after an armed group in late March stole from Mineria Penmont, a subsidiary of Fresnillo. It called on law enforcement to work with mining companies to step up security amid broader instability due to the coronavirus crisis.

“During this sanitary emergency ... the industry is in a transition stage in its operations in order to adhere to the federal and state government orders, which makes it a vulnerable target for organized crime,” the group said in a statement.
