Splunk-Aktie: Warum sie eine ‘Top-Auswahl’ ist!
... sagte Sills, dass Splunk in der zweiten Jahreshälfte mindestens zwei bullische Katalysatoren vor sich hat.
Erstens rechnet er mit einer deutlichen Erholung des freien Cashflows von Splunk. Er rechnet mit einem FCF in Höhe von 116 Millionen US-Dollar in den nächsten zwei Quartalen, nach einem negativen FCF in Höhe von 66 Millionen US-Dollar in der zweiten Hälfte des letzten Jahres.
Zweitens sagte Sills, dass sich das jährliche wiederkehrende Umsatzwachstum von Splunk wahrscheinlich beschleunigen wird, sobald das Unternehmen einen Cloud-Umsatzmix von 50 % erreicht hat, was wahrscheinlich im vierten Quartal der Fall sein wird.

UBS sieht das Potenzial für eine Abwärtskorrektur der Wachstumsschätzung für das Geschäftsjahr 22 der Straße und stuft Splunk herab (NASDAQ: SPLK ) von Kaufen zu Verkaufen und senkt das Kursziel von 242 USD auf 165 USD.
Analyst Karl Keirstead sagt, dass die Wachstumskonsensschätzung von 26% hoch erscheint und erwartet, dass Splunk "neue (niedrigere) GJ22-Ziele an seinem Analystentag am 21. Oktober" festlegt.
Keirstead zitiert Feldprüfungen, die gemischt waren und ein Wachstum von 5 bis 20% implizierten, anstatt das von Splunk behauptete Wachstum von 40% + ARR.

Da gibt es einige Dinge, die mir weniger gut gefallen. Zum einen ist es nicht so toll, wenn das Management sich nicht durch Umsätze finanziert, sondern durch das Drucken von neuen Aktien. Außerdem ist die Summe der Verbindlichkeiten, die Splunk angibt stark angestiegen. Kein Wunder, dass man Verlust macht. Vielleicht sollte man dort weniger für Werbung ausgeben.
