Hi,
im Wege eines Aktientauschs einen Merger durchgeführt.
Die Bude heißt encommerce und ist im B2B tätig.

Kommt drüben offenbar nicht gut an, warum?

Die Aussichten insgesamt und langfristig sind vielleicht besser,
nur z.Zt. reagieren Börsianer auf weitere Verluste allergisch.

So bei ENTRUST. Phantasie und Super-Kundenliste reicht nicht mehr.
Übrigens ein klares Indiz dafür, daß die Korektur noch nicht ganz
vorbei sein kann. Nervosität ist angesagt.
Ich würde nicht verkaufen.

Revenues for the first quarter increased to $29.1 million from $16.8 million for quarter one of last year, an overall increase of 73%. License revenues of $20.9 million in the first quarter of 2000 increased by 80% from $11.6 million a year ago. Services and maintenance revenues increased to $8.2 million from $5.2 million for quarter one of last year, an increase of 58%. Net income for quarter one of 2000 was $3.3 million, representing $0.06 per diluted share. The $.06 per diluted share compares to a net income of $334,000, representing earnings of $0.01 per diluted share in the first quarter of 1999. Operating income, before goodwill amortization, for the first quarter of 2000 was $3.5 million, compared to an operating loss, before goodwill amortization, of ($402,000) for the same period of 1999. Revenues, net income, and earnings per share in quarter one of 2000 represent record levels of performance for Entrust Technologies.

Quarterly Highlights

During the first quarter 2000, Entrust Technologies:

* Demonstrated excellent momentum by adding 95 new initial PKI systems for both B2B and B2C applications, a 73% increase over Q1/1999. Entrust Technologies showed consistent, strong revenue growth in North America, Europe, and Asia.

* Signed partnership agreements for B2B solutions with Oracle, Ariba, and IBM Global Services.

* Acquired CygnaCom Solutions, Inc., in March 2000, for $16 million in cash. CygnaCom Solutions is a professional services company with a history of providing PKI-related services to US Federal Government departments. The acquisition added approximately 45 employees to Entrust Technologies.

* Experienced continued significant growth for Entrust.net`s Web and wireless server certificates. Entrust.net sold 6,200 certificates in Q1/2000, representing 100% sequential growth over Q4/1999.

* Announced agreements with two leaders in electronic payment authorizations: Authorize.net and Trintech Group.

* Initiated and completed a follow-on stock offering that raised over $700 million (US) for Entrust Technologies and selling stockholders.

der kursverlust wurde in einem anderen thread schon erklärt:
entrust hat den kaufvertrag abgeschlossen, als der kurs bei 47 $ stand. dabei wurde mit einer festgelegten menge an aktien bezahlt.
entrust verwendet seine eigenen aktien als währung und war bei 47 $ offenbar der meinung, daß der kurs ok ist.
nun ratet mal, wohin der kurs gefallen ist? richtig: auf etwa 47 $.

weiss aber net so richtig ob ich jetzt beruhigt oder ........ sein soll. also ich habe mich sehr gut über die aktie informiert und sehe sie als absoluter kauf. aber -22% in einer leicht seitwärts-laufenden börse. also ich weiss net, was is denn erst wenn es wieder weiter richtung süden geht. mensch also manchmal verstehe ich vieles wirklich net is doch wirklich ein sehr gutes unternehmen, sehr gute kundenliste und macht gewinn.

also bis heute war ich eigentlich sehr zuversichtig was entrust betrifft, aber verisign + check point sind heute gut im +, nur entrust nicht.
mich macht dieser deal den sie da abgeschlossen haben nervös. was bedeutet er auf mittlere sicht sagen wir mal so innerhalb von 12 monaten ??
oder soll man doch lieber verkaufen ?? bin eigentlich kein hysteriker, aber langsam werde ich nervös.

Starke Abweichungen der Marktpreise von "Fair Value" sind in einer Phase einer längeren Abwärtsbewegung ganz normal. Meiner Meinung nach ist Entrust tendenziell unterbewertet.
Entsprechend sind in dieser Phase meist professionelle Anleger aktiv, während die Gruppe naiver Anleger dem Markt ferbleibt. Vorausschauende Investoren beginnen in dieser Phase neue Positionen zu niedrigen Kursen aufzubauen.
Sobald die erkennbare Verbesserung der Fundamentaldaten sich allmählich in der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung durchsetzt, sind mehr und mehr Investoren bereit die neue Vision zukünftig besserer Fundamentaldaten zu akzeptieren, was zu anhaltender und stabielen Nachfrage, und folglich zu steigenden Kursen führt.

Hallo,
auch ich gehöre zu den Entrust Anhängern. Habe meinen Einstandskurs
durch billige Nachkäufe drastisch reduziert. Auf Sicht von 6 Monaten
Kursziel 120 Euro locker drin. Auch andere Internetwerte wurden geprügelt, aber dadurch ergeben sich auch gute Chancen. Siehe Redback,C1,Ariba oder Cisco. So billig wird es nicht oft sein und ich kaufe gern im Ausverkauf.

Entrust wird spätestens in Herbst wieder stark anziehen. Bis dahin nutze ich Kursscgwäche um billig nachzukaufen.
unter 40 Euro, sprich 38 Dollar wird Entrust bei Erfüllung der Planzahlen auf jedenfall nicht mehr gehen.

Management consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers is jumping into the Web security market.

The "Big Five" consulting firm will launch a new subsidiary next week, called BeTrusted, to provide Web security software to corporate clients, said a spokesman for the firm. The company said its subsidiary will target companies that make large, complicated transactions with their business partners over the Internet.



PricewaterhouseCoopers is jumping into the Web security market as companies increase their focus on Net security issues. To date, the market has been dominated by VeriSign, which makes software to secure online transactions using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technology. PKI systems issue and manage digital certificates, which serve as electronic IDs online.

In recent months, VeriSign has faced heightened competition from a growing number of players, including Entrust Technologies and GTE`s CyberTrust, as more companies conduct increasingly complicated transactions via the Web.

PricewaterhouseCoopers and rivals Andersen Consulting, KPMG and EDS have all tackled the Web security market to some degree, using their services to help financial companies secure their clients` transactions online.

PricewaterhouseCoopers, which has been planning the new subsidiary for the past year, is targeting clients that conduct hefty transactions over the Web that require top-notch security efforts. This includes financial institutions that conduct large wire transactions over the Internet and companies that engage in large trading transactions with their buyers and suppliers.

The new subsidiary, heavily backed by its parent, will initially be staffed with about 120 PricewaterhouseCoopers employees and will license Web security software from partners Entrust and Baltimore Technologies.

The firm`s spokesman said BeTrusted will be based in Columbia, Md.; it is searching for a chief executive officer and other senior-level executives to round out its management team.
