Hello SeroZ,

The situation with our NASDAQ listing for HRCT (currently on the OTC), is
that we submitted our application for listing on 1/24/00. At that time
Hartcourt far exceeded all suggested requirements for a NASDAQ listing.
Near the end of March, the NASD made a request for 3
clarifications/questions (very typical, and often more), as well as the
1999 Annual Report (10K). The reason for the 10K was that Hartcourt had
changed so much during the last year, reading the 1998 10K and subsequent
10Q Quarterly reports did not provide a clear enough picture to the NASD in
their exhaustive research. On April 14th, the 1999 10K was filed and a copy
sent to the NASD, previously the 3 clarifications/questions were answered
and returned. Now Hartcourt awaits the response by the NASD on NASDAQ
approval or perhaps some minor clarifications.

Also remember that Mr. Bianco, Dr. Yang, and Mr. Duong all left very
lucrative and influential positions to come to Hartcourt. They did a full
examination of Hartcourt, our opportunities and current business
negotiations, examined our contracts with various companies and the
government, reviewed drafts of the Ernst & Young report, and spoke with our
management teams at our facilities in China. After having done their due
diligence they made the informed choice to come aboard.

Since most of Hartcourt`s acquisitions were finalized at the end of the
year or beginning 2000 their 1999 financial totals could not be included in
Hartcourt`s bottom line, just the expense of purchase. In 2000, Financial
Telecom is anticipated to earn $2 million US in profit, and StreamingAsia`s
revenues are 4 times greater than expected, anticipated in the $4 million
dollar range. In general, the Chinese subsidiaries are profitable
companies, because in China companies either run positive or don`t survive.
Much of the acquisition, integration costs and support costs for SinoBull`s
IPO (management, legal costs, consulting costs, listing costs, travel, etc)
will be recouped during the IPO. Remember, the IPO is still valued at $100
million for the 20% equity stake to be released to the public. At the time
of the IPO, Hartcourt will own 36% of SinoBull, such that $36 million in
cash will be obtained, as well as SinoBull`s share price X 5 X 36% in
equity assets. Hartcourt is still considering a possible Hong Kong GEM IPO
which has the benefit of reaching the market quicker than the NASDAQ, and
at present provides greater valuations for China tech stocks.

With the Ernst & Young report completed and to be released this week to the
awaiting potential underwriters and strategic partners, Hartcourt fully
continues to move forward with its business plan and the IPO of SinoBull
and other subsidiaries. Naturally, when the underwriter is contracted, a
press release will be issued, as well as the formal announcement of the
IPO. The lead underwriter will recommend a time table for all the legal
work necessary for the filing as well as time needed for the "road show" to
present SinoBull to institutional investors and the like. Michael Bianco,
CEO of SinoBull.com, will also be in charge of organizing the process for
the SinoBull IPO, as he is experienced and well versed in the IPO process.

China Regulators Approve Online Trading Regs

(04/19/2000) Zhou Xiaochuan, chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), recently told the China Business Summit that the government is continuing its preparations to create mainland China’s version of Hong Kong’s high-tech board, the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM), the April 18 Zhengquan Shibao (Securities Times) reported.

Zhou said his agency has made all the necessary preparations for launch of the board, and it is expected to go into operation as soon as the relevant laws have been passed.

According to Zhou, the exchange will inject new vitality into the country’s securities sector.

Online Trading

The CSRC chairman also said his agency reviewed and approved the recent regulations governing online securities trading.

Zhou said he believed these laws will promote the development of China’s online securities sector. He cautioned, however, that ecommerce began comparatively late in China, and he said online trading there accounts for only 1 percent of the country’s total securities trading.

Zhou also predicted that stock offerings in China will increasingly depend on the efforts of their leading underwriter.

He said that to improve the competence of leading underwriters in the country, the China Securities Association will sponsor a contest to appraise the top eight underwriters. Zhou said this contest, in which 23 brokers will compete, also seeks to establish a system of reputable leading underwriters in China.

Zhou added that China currently has 123 brokerage firms eligible to act as leading underwriters.

Hartcourt digs deeper into China

The Hartcourt group of companies has signed a letter with Shenzhen Sinlan Investment to invest jointly in Sichuan China Integrated Cable Network. (SCIC). SCIC is operating an exclusive TV cable network in the capital city of Chengdu, Sichuan province and is planning an expansion programme to enrol subscribers and modernise the system.
Chengdu has a population of 11 million and SCIC wants to showcase a cable system with interconnecting data transmission. The company would like to work with Hartcourt to bring Internet connection to these subscribers via a network of satellite and cable transmissions. SCIC is also planning to make an initial public offering (IPO) in 2001 to raise additional capital for network infrastructure.
Hartcourt operates Sinobull.com, a financial portal of online stock trading and a financial data bank. It is also a joint venture partner in Innostar project in China. Innostar has the license to provide wireless Internet service provider (ISP) and Internet protocol (IP) phone services via satellite. Both companies are planning to do an IPO on NASDAQ.

Hartcourt, third largest Chinese Net to merge

A US firm called the Hartcourt Companiesy has announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a 90 per cent interest in China Infohighway Communications, the exclusive commercial Internet provider in China.
China Infohighway (CIH) was formed two years ago as a joint venture between the Chinese Government and a private Chinese telecommunications company to develop the backbone and Internet services in the 21 largest cities in China.
The agreement allows the company to have an exclusive niche in the new but rapidly-expanding commercial Internet business in China, and marks the first time that a foreign firm will actually be allowed to participate in state-owned assets, and could be the foundation of the first privately-operated nation-wide Internet business. Many leading American and European Internet companies have tried unsuccessfully to enter the Chinese market.
The closing of the transaction is subject to the two parties completing certain conditions, including an independent valuation giving CIH a valuation in excess of US$80 million, and Hartcourt arranging financing for US$30 million for expansion and repayment of certain CIH liabilities. Hartcourt plans to have AsiaNet, a recently formed wholly-owned subsidiary, take over the management of the present Internet infrastructure and operation, and be responsible for its further growth and expansion.
Harcourt president Dr Alan Phan said he hoped to have the US$30 million committed for CIH to expand existing facilities and to repay some government debts before June 30. According to Dr Phan, the company already has had discussions with one national investment banking firm which has indicated a willingness to raise the equity financing, given the substantial market value of the Chinese operation. Currently, CIH has about 100,000 subscribers and generated about US$16 million in revenues in 1998. CIH also owns and operates the two popular web sites in Chinese language, one is a search engine called "China Info Resources On Line" and one is a database of Chinese history and culture called "China on The Net".
According to representatives of CIH, the injection of capital and addition of American technical resources by Hartcourt will enable the joint venture to meet its objective, raising the subscriber base to about 500,000 within three years, and retaining its 30-year exclusive license to provide Internet services to over half of China`s 1.2 billion residents.
"Subject to our ability to commit the necessary resources and depending on the group`s ability to market and attract a high percentage of China`s current population of 1.2 billion potential customers, the Chinese joint venture can buy out the government`s position and effectively convert the venture into a privately-owned company and become Asia`s largest Internet provider," Dr Phan said.
Hartcourt intends to finalise the financing and close the acquisition on or before this coming June.
The Hartcourt Companies is a holding company with a primary focus on "high tech"-related businesses operating through subsidiaries, with special interest in developing markets in Asia.

get access to the Ernst & Young report, Hartcourt will require the
following shareholder proof:

For interested shareholders, a letter from their broker, on their broker`s
letterhead stating that the named shareholder has X amount of shares (or an
amount greater than 1000 shares can be stated for individual
confidentiality reasons) and currently holds these shares, and has held
these shares for 3 months or longer. The letter would need to be signed by
the broker, and the appropriate phone number to reach the broker attached
as well.

(Note: we are not excluding individuals who have 1000 shares or less, but
if you have owned for 3 months continously 100-1000 shares up to current
date, statement of that fact by your broker would be appropriate as well).

We will have the Non-Disclosure Agreement augemented for shareholders and
that will be released on the web when completed (will be on the web within
a few days after the Ernst & Young report is released). That will also need
to be signed and dated.

To assist in preventing electronic dissemination, the abridged version will
be printed and sent via FedEx or Priority Mail for a nominal fee (shipping,
handling, reproduction). The full version is well over 200 pages, the
unabridged version is anticipated to be perhaps over a hundred.

Dr. Phan will arrange a meeting in Los Angeles, perhaps at the new office
depending on response, for an overview of the Ernst & Young report and
general discussion regarding. There, several full unabridged versions will
be available for reading (but not removing from the location) for those
shareholders who bring a copy of their broker`s letter and who sign a
Non-Disclosure Agreement. After much thought and planning, we feel this
maybe the best solution for the sentiment we are receiving from our
shareholders, as well as for the future of Hartcourt`s competitive edge in
the China Internet Industry.

mal abgesehen von den großartigen Beiträgen von tronic - deine konstruktiven und einzigartigen Kommentare in diesem Thread lese ich natürlich am liebsten. Es ist wirklich zu bedauern, daß du dich in der letzten Zeit etwas zurückgezogen hast. Dennoch ein wohlwollender Ratschlag für die Ostertage: ein wenig Nachhilfe in Orthographie, Grammatik und Stilistik würde deinen rhetorisch ausgefeilten Formulierungen zu noch mehr Durchschlagskraft verhelfen und somit den begeisterten Leser noch schneller und nachhaltiger überzeugen als sie es ohnehin schon tun. Wie bereits erwähnt, nur eine freundschaftliche Empfehlung...

Nachdem uns der große "Showdown" gestern erspart geblieben ist (oder habt ihr irgendwo einen E&Y Report gesehen?), hab ich euch mal wieder einen etwas positiveren Bericht zum Thema Onlinetrading herausgesucht. Wichtig ist eigentlich nur ein Absatz, aber denn werdet ihr ja wohl selber finden. Allen wünche ich natürlich noch ein frohes und erholsames Osterfest.


8.7% China Net Users Have Wireless Access - Survey

(04/19/2000) Last month, the Xenow and the China Consumer Research companies carried out an online survey in China on Internet issues and the use of wireless Internet access equipment there, Sina.com reported on April 13.

According to Sina.com, the companies surveyed a total of 589 Internet users, 25% of whom were female, from 22 provinces and municipalities directly under China’s central government.

The survey’s findings included:

Of those persons surveyed, 51 (or 8.7%) have been using wireless equipment to get onto the Internet.

When asked which equipment they use first to achieve wireless Internet access, 65.4% said a "mobile telephone," 15.4% answered a "PDA" (personal digital assistant) and 19.2% said "Motorola Angbao equipment."

As for the types of Internet services they use, more than half of those surveyed, or 51.6%, said "email" was their No. 1 choice. "Stock trading transactions" came next (34.2%), followed by "online shopping" (7.9%), "travel services" (3.6%), and "weather forecasts" (2.4%).

In respect to the wireless online equipment that those surveyed use, the results were similar. The top three manufacturers were Motorola (45.7%), Nokia (39.0%) and Ericsson (11.4%), with all others combined making up less than 4%.

As for wireless Internet content providers (ICP), 44.5% of those polled said they think that Sina.com will take the lead in the next two years, while 25.7% said they think Sohu.com will. Other top finishers were 11.8% for 263.net, 11% for NetEase, and 8.5% for China.com.

Sina.com was the most popular ICP across age groups, but Sohu.com outranked it among the above-55 age group. In the 45-54 age group, 263.net outstripped Sohu.com.

In terms of acceptable prices for wireless Internet equipment, 44.3% said "RMB 1,000-2,000" (US$121-US$242) was the right price. This was followed by "less than RMB 1,000" (US$121) – 42.6%. Meanwhile, 12.6% of respondents answered "RMB 2,000-3,000" (US$242-US$362), while only 0.7% chose "over RMB 3,000" (US$362).

About 21.1% of those polled expressed a "willingness" to pay to receive the service of a wireless ICP. Also, 23.9% said they were not willing to pay for such service, and even more people (55%) said "it depends."

In discussing the amount they would pay to receive monthly Internet content service, 37.5% said "RMB 20-50" (US$2.4-US$6), 35.7% said "less than RMB 20" (US$2.40), 15.8% chose "RMB 50-100 (US$6-US$12), 10% answered "it depends" and only 1% said "more than RMB 100" (US$12).

When asked whether they would buy wireless access equipment that permitted only Internet browsing and email, 26.5% said "yes," 28% said "no" and 45.5% answered "it depends."

In commenting on the biggest current obstacle to the development of China’s wireless Internet access market, 44.8% of those surveyed said "the price of equipment is too high," 33.7% agreed that "technical specifications are immature" and 21% said the main barrier was a "lack of content."

Signals Point to Online Trading Industry Boom in China

(Virtual China News, Jan. 21) Online stock trading appears set to take off in China, after a recent government announcement that suggests it will make the practice legal, and moves by several computer and Internet companies that demonstrate a major committment to the business.

If the industry grows in China as it has in the U.S., it would allow mainland brokers to capitalize on increasing numbers of relatively affluent Chinese, and significantly boost capital flow in the cash hungry trading floors of China`s two major stock markets, in Shenzhen and Shanghai. Online trading could also significantly stimulate foreign and domestic investment in Chinese enterprises, and thereby boost the national economy.

"It could be very popular," said Jared Peterson, an Asia Pacific analyst at International Data Corporation (IDC), referring to online trading.

On Saturday, Chinese state media said that Beijing will shortly release new regulations concerning online trading, a practice that is now technically illegal in China. However, over the past two years, a number of mainland brokerages have started online trading services for their clients through intranet or internet systems. The authorities have looked the other way.

Explosive Potential

Most experts say Saturday`s announcement signals the government`s intention legalize, or even to encourage, online trading in the future. The Chinese government has started 2000 with several announcements underlining the importance of Internet-based businesses to China`s economic future; the online trading announcement has gained the most attention.

On Saturday, Legend Holdings, China`s top personal computer maker, said it would soon launch a new set-top box to enable online trading through Hua Xia Securities, China`s second largest securities company. And yesterday, a leading securities Web site in China, www.99Stock.com, renamed itself as part of a repositioning effort aimed at grabbing a large share of China`s potentially explosive online trading industry.

The Web site, based in Hong Kong, changed its name to GoTrade.com and signed contracts to conduct online trading with more than 40 mainland brokerages, including Guotai Junan, China Securities, GF Securities and CITIC, said Li Ran, chief executive of GoTrade, according to the South China Morning Post.

GoTrade is one of several companies that have offered online trading services in China since last year, audaciously taking advantage of a lack of regulations, and seeking to eventually thrive in a free online trading environment much like Etrade.com, Ameritrade (ticker: AMTD), and DLJ Direct (ticker: DLJ) in the U.S.

Trading Solutions

While many see the industry`s potential, it is currently quite small. There are 40 million investors in China`s stock markets, with only about 15,000 of them trading online.

MF Securities, a brokerage that claims it handles two percent of all trading done on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges, says 40 percent of the trades it handles are done online, according to Reuters.

If a dramatic reliance on the Internet occurred in China`s securities markets, technology companies, domestic and foreign alike, could be expected to profit greatly.

It is unlikely that brokerages would be permitted to own the Internet side of the businesses, however. Online trading solutions will more likely be contracted to technology providers like Shenzhen Prosperity System Co. Ltd., which provides MF Securities with its online operation, and which is part-owned by U.S. telecommunications giant Motorola Inc. (ticker: MOT) and computer maker Intel Corporation (ticker: INTC).

Hardware makers would also profit. Legend said it aimed to sell 100,000 of its trading set-top box unites, called "StockEasy," for RMB3000 to 3,480 (US$362-420).

Security Concerns

Chinese investors aren`t looking at the same financial incentive to trade online as many day-traders in the U.S. Dial-up Internet connections are more costly for Chinese subscribers as a proportion of their income, and PC`s and other Internet appliances are more of a luxury in China`s current economy, where most Internet subscribers make less than US$500 a month.

Also, while the online trading rage in the U.S. was partially spurred by investors` realization that they no longer needed to pay costly fees to their brokers, online traders in China receive no discount.

"In China there`s no difference whether you go in face to face, or trade over the phone," Peterson of IDC said.

Online traders at Shenzhen-based China Communication Securities pay the 0.35 percent trading fee whether or not they go online, Zou Rong, a manager at the company told Reuters.

"That Legend machine is too expensive for most consumers in China," Zou added.

Other securities Web sites include www.kangxi.com and www.stockstar.com, which also provides its real time stock prices, technical charts and financial news and analysis to Sina.com`s financial section.

Shaking Things Up

Security is another outstanding hurdle that will likely prevent stock trading from making it onto the Internet in China anytime soon. Most Chinese are leery not only of spending money online, but also, for security reasons, of keying in their user names and passwords.

As part of their drive to improve the prospects of China`s stock exchanges, the CSRC will require securities houses to adopt a U.S.-based high-level security system known as C2, Zou said.

Liquidity is another element badly needed, but at the present moment missing, from a scenario in which online trading would catch on like wildfire in China. Although there are 40 million investors in China`s stock exchanges, they mainly trade in penny stocks. Also, a majority of the traded shares are held by the Government.

"The market is small, and a few insiders could really shake things up," Peterson said. Before foreign investors feel comfortable pouring money into China`s stock markets, it will be necessary to first "grow the market," Peterson said.

Since last year the CSRC has sought to increase the amount of capital in the securities exchanges. First the agency divided China`s brokerage companies into proprietary ones whose traded capital exceeded RMB500 million, and smaller brokerages who traded less than that amount. Then the agency announced a revision of the listing procedure that would force enterprises to make public records more transparent, according to the Shanghai Daily.

China now has 8.9 million Internet users, and some experts say that number will reach 33 million by 2004. At the end of last year, 949 Chinese enterprises were listed on China`s stock exchanges in Shanghai and Shenzhen, either on the A Share index, limited to domestic investment, or the B Share index, which is designated for foreign investment.

Internet brokerage Charles Schwab expects to launch its mobile telephone stock trading service in June and is in negotiations with more than one cellular telephone operator to provide the service.
The company already has an agreement with SmarTone Mobile Communications to provide mobile telephone stock trading service but wants to extend it to other networks.

"We will start with SmarTone as our provider but after that we can go for more than one provider," Charles Schwab regional general manager Christina Hui Sui-wing said.

The service will be provided using wireless application protocol (WAP) technology.

More than 90 per cent of the brokerage`s transactions in Hong Kong are on-line and the introduction of WAP technology is expected to ensure most transactions are done over the Internet.

TD Waterhouse - which has already introduced WAP technology to provide financial information to Cable & Wireless HKT`s cellular subscribers - also intends to launch its mobile telephone stock trading service in June.

The company is negotiating with carriers and partners for the deal.

"Right now we are in the process of discussing with the carriers the implementation of our trading product and our partners for the initial launch," said Karen Buck, TD Waterhouse`s managing director in Hong Kong.

Q) If Hartcourt finalizes this negotiation for the "big" acquisition, when do you estimate an IPO for that company?

A) Hartcourt is currently involved in negotiations with a major ISP company. Hartcourt`s intention is a minority ownership position in the company, and beginning the IPO process immediately after. As to when the IPO would be on the market, it very well could be in the 4th quarter of 2000. Hartcourt`s intention, as with all of its planned IPO`s, will be to allow pre-IPO purchase for long-term holders of Hartcourt, based on a ratio of shares held to shares made available to Hartcourt shareholders.

damit zu tun hat, wenn sich an der Nasdaq Ueberbewertungen korrigieren, waehrend Hartcourt unterbewertet ist. Fuer einen Verkauf
selbst einer Trading-Position sind solche Gruende hirnrissig.
Wahrscheinlich wird trotzdem verkauft. Da kann sich gluecklich
schaetzen, wer einen langen Atem hat, und hier im Board keine
*ich kaufe bei 5* Postings posten muss, um Tradinggewinne zu erzielen.

Dass Hartcourt diesen sommer im Sinonet JV 200.000 Kunden hat,
dazu noch dieser 600.000 ISP kommt, und Innostar mit seinen wireless ISP und IP-Phone Services - und das als Ausgangsposition im wachstumsstaerksten Internet-Markt der naechsten Jahre - das alles ist vollkommen egal. Der baldige Nasdaqgang interessiert wohl auch nicht. Alles was Dienstag frueh interessiert ist, dass der DE Kurs 8.6 ist, und der US Kurs 7.
Sicher wird sich der eine oder andere kurzsichtige Verkaeufer finden, egal wie hirnrissig die Gruende fuer einen Kursunterschied sind.

DM stehen.Das Geschäft wird für 100000 DM verkauft(Autos inclusiv),weil es paar andere gegeben hat,die ihre UNRENTABLE Autogeschäfte auch verkauft haben.Wer profitiert von unseren Autogeschäft?Wir als Verkäufer bestimmt nicht.Es freut sich nur der Käufer.
Wenn wir das jetzt wieder auf unseren Börsenplatz bringen und die Frage des Profites stellen-wer wird wohl von den heutigen evt verkäufern Profitieren?Da habe ich nur eine Antwort.

Die Longs interresiert das ganze Spiel weniger,weil sie sich die Aktien nach einer Überlegung gekauft haben(und nicht ,weil die Aktie gerade in Mode gekommen ist und die anderen sie auch kaufen),analisiert haben und den Realen Wert der Aktie kennen.
Viele von den LONGS gehören gleichzeitig zu den klugen die gerade dann,wenn der Markt schwächelt nachkaufen.(Gruß an Panic und viele anderen).

The news from Beijing is that they are placing new legislation to restrict Internet-based online stock trading to just brokerages, and they would need to be licensed to do so for security and integrity for the investing populace.

This is good news for Hartcourt, since UAC (and thus SinoBull) is fully licensed nationwide for "intranet" online trading.

UAC provides the secure technology solution (Virtual Private Network, transaction servers, and stock trading software) to brokerages such as securities heavy-weight Hua Xia Securites and Guosen Securities.

With this new information, we are eagerly contacting all the major brokerages in China for providing secure online trading solutions for them.

Naturally there will be companies trying to compete (although starting from ground zero), but UAC and SinoBull already have an existing fully functional system in-place, the network infrastructure, the software, the secure medium and most importantly the license to operate nationwide via intranet.

The main problem may be not having enough manpower and expertise to hook up every client facillity as quickly as desired (regulations at the moment, outline we would need servers at each office location at a brokerage, and not centralized computing), but we are working diligently to expand our technical staff and subscribe brokerage firm clients. But that is a key in the rate we hook up new offices.

Entweder man ist eine der securities wie etwa HuaXia, denen Onlinebroking sowieso gestattet ist, oder man ist *non-securities companies such as Internet portals*, denen das Internetbroking verboten war, und welches Verbot nun nochmals von der Regulierungsbehoerde CSRC bestaetigt wurde.

Hartcourt hat hier also bemerkenswerte Weitsicht bewiesen, denn es ist das eingetreten, was im letzten Jahr vorhergesehen wurde:
Die Regulierungsbehoerden aeussern mit oder ohne Hintergedanken
(Wettbewerbsregulierung zugunsten heimischer Firmen) Einwaende gegen Onlinehandel ueber Internet.

Das UAC Network ist allerdings nur fuer Finanz-Transaktionen ausgelegt, sowie zu diesem Zweck besonders gesichert (Verschluesselungen), und vor allem es ist eben kein Netz, dass zum Internet hin offen ist, sondern gewissermassen ein Intranet - faellt also nicht unter das Internet-Onlinetrading-Verbot.


Wie geplant, werden die Sinobull/UAC Onlinebroking Services ueber
das Finanznetz an andere Onlinebroker verkauft, die nur regionale
Brokinglizenzen haben, und das sind die meissten. Sinobull/UAC dagegen
kann ueber das 162-Finanznetz, dass bisher eben UAC exklusiv und lizensiert nutzt, ihre Services an regionale Brokerages wie eben
Guosen Securities verkaufen. Dabei macht sich Sinobull letztlich
nicht wirklich selbst Konkurrenz, denn die Onlinebroking Services
werden ja verkauft (eben weil bisher kein anderer Anbieter dieses
CHINAWEIT lizenziert ueber ein spezielles Finanznets wie 162 anbietet), und pro Trade der vom Endkunden durchgefuehrt wird,
geht der Gebuehr direkt an Sinobull/UAC.

Das einzige *Problem* dass Hartcourt aktuell loesen muss, ist,
die Sinobull.com Website (Internet) und ihr Intranet-Trading
sinnvoll zu *verbinden*. Letztlich duerfte aber auch die Bereitstellung eines Installers fuer das UAC 162-Intranet Onlinebrokings ueber die ausserordentlich gut besuchte Sinobull.com
Website seine Wirkung tun. Das waere so aehnlich, als wenn man
hierzulande auf seinem Computer einen neuen Provider automatisch
installiert. Der Sinobull.com Kunde ist sich dann halt bewusst,
dass er fuer die Finanztransaktionen das UAC 162 Netz benutzt, und
fuer sein Research das Internet.

Es ist ziemlich sicher dass es folgende Versionen gibt:
- eine Sinobull-Internet-Version je fuer Hongkong und Festlandchina
- eine Sinobull-Intranet-Version fuer das direkte Onlinetrading

Wieso läßt das NasDAQ-Listing von Hartcourt so lange auf sich warten?
Vielleicht hat einer von den HRCT-Bullen eine konkrete und einleuchtende Antwort darauf. Es kommt mir fast so vor als ob in den HRCT Threads sehr viel geredet (so viel wie in keinem anderen Thread!)würde, jedoch so gut wie gar nichts gesagt wird. Ich höre zwar heraus, daß alle sehr positiv für die Aktie sind, doch Negativanzeichen werden alle unmerklich unter den vielbemühten Tebbisch gekehrt. So kommt es mir jedenfalls vor. Fuel Cell, Hollin, SeroZ, Frankie und Ihr anderen, was iss nu mit dem NasDAQ-Listing? Kommts oder kommts nich, und wenn ja, warum erst dann??!?

vor einigen Wochen war die Situation noch anders. Der Ernst&Young-Businessplan fuer Sinobull war noch nicht fertig, bzw wurde nochmal
ueberarbeitet, und die Nasdaq hatte zwecks Durchsicht das aktuelle 10k angefordert, was nun ja vor etwa einer Woche bei der Nasdaq eintraf...dieses ist aber keinesfalls Hartcourts Schuld...Hartcourt hat sich seit dem Listingantrag im Januar wesentlich weiterentwickelt.
Die obige Press Release zeigt zB dass sich StreamingAsia.com, ein
Teil von Sinobull.com schneller als erwartet entwickelt...und wenn
das Listing auf der Bearbeiterseite noch laenger dauert, wird sich
Hartcourt in seinem schnellebigen Geschaeftsfeld wieder fortentwickelt haben, wenn man mit dem Pruefen des Listing Antrags endlich fertig ist...

Sorry, die Negativanzeichen werden keinesfalls unter den Teppich gekehrt - es wurde nur ueber die Negativseiten bereits alles gesagt...
Undzwar mehrfach und immer wieder.

Aktuell ticken beide Uhren wieder, dh die Sinobull Uhr (US Partner bei Sinobull, Sinobull IPO usw) und die Nasdaq-Listing Uhr (die Nasdaq
hat den Listing Antrag wieder in Arbeit, und der Ernst&Young Businessplan fuer Sinobull ist auch fertig und wird von Partnern wie von Institutionellen gelesen. Entsprechendes Echo wird der Nasdaq-Gang
finden, vor allem bei aktueller Unterbewertung.

Nochmal: Sinobull Businessplan ist fertig und liegt Institutionellen und Partnern vor, Nasdaq Listing ist in fortgeschrittener Bearbeitung.
Sollte nicht noch der unwahrscheinliche Fall eintreten, dass eine Nachbesserung gefordert wird, sollte das Listing bald erfolgen.

du hast recht, es wird sehr viel geredet...und über kaum ein anderes Thema so viel wie über das NASDAQ-Listing, daher bin ich schon etwas verwundert über deine Frage. Konkret: den genauen Termin kennt natürlich niemand. Es gab kleinere Rückfragen der SEC, die allesamt beantwortet wurden. Der letzte wichtige Punkt war das 10k-Filing. Jetzt läuft die Zeit - wenn alles gut geht, können wir in etwa 4 - 6 Wochen mit Nachrichten bezüglich des Listings rechnen.

25Apr2000 CHINA: China has 250,000 online stock traders - CSRC.
BEIJING, April 25 (Reuters) - China now has 250,000 online stock traders and online trading makes up one percent of the country`s total trading volume, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) was quoted on Tuesday as saying.
Xinhua news agency quoted the CSRC as saying in a statement more than 200 units of domestic securities firms were providing online broking and "more brokers are expected to follow suit".
The combined daily turnover of the domestic currency A share markets in Shenzhen and Shanghai average between 20 billion yuan ($2.42 billion) and 30 billion yuan.
Earlier this month, the CSRC issued rules governing online stock trading which stipulated only licensed securities brokeages can apply to the government to conduct the potentially lucrative business.
The rules are aimed at regulating Internet-based stock trading and controlling market risks and any brokerage planning online trading must gain approval from the CSRC.
The regulation bans non-brokerage companies from online stock trading or sharing trading commissions with securities companies.
Securities traded through Internet services must be those listed on the Shenzhen or Shanghai stock exchanges, the rules say.
Analysts say the rules are likely to stoke a boom in stock trade over the Internet in China, where there are 45 million stock investors and the number of people using the Internet has exploded to 10 million from just two million last year.
Official media say online broking services started in China in 1997 and several large brokerages, including Citic Securities and Everbright Securities, plan to invest more than 100 million yuan each in E-commerce.

HONG KONG, April 26 (Reuters) - ChinaWeb Ltd said on Wednesday its unit Homeway will jointly launch a platform to trade financial instruments in China with China International Trust and Investment Corp (CITIC).
The platform, called Trading Online Platform, was developed by Homeway to support online stock trading and will be expanded to allow trading in other financial instruments later, ChinaWeb said in a statement.
The statement did not give other details.

Canberra, April 25 (CNA) A leading Hong Kong Internet entrepreneur has warned foreigners to be very careful when investing in mainland China because it is an uncertain market that still lacks the necessary network infrastructure, content and commerce capability. In an interview with The Australian, Peter Yip, head of Chinadotcom, said that foreign investors in China need patience and understanding, because of stumbling blocks to making serious money in mainland China. He said despite its huge population of 1.2 billion people, the Chinese market is still immature in terms of infrastructure, content and Internet connectivity. "North Asia represents the greatest potential Internet market. But you have to be careful to differentiate the markets (of Japan, Korea and China.) There are different opportunities at different times," he said. "I need to caution co-investors to work closely with the regulators in China," he added. He said the market in Japan is mature, and Korea is energetically forging ahead. In China, state-owned enterprises are now trying to transform themselves in to online businesses, he added. He said that it is up to foreign investors to educate and encourage Chinese managers. The other prerequisite for investors in China is a sense of reality, because it is easy to succumb to the pull of a market of 1.2 billion people. "One has to be careful with China, that you are not overwhelmed by the size. You have to look beyond the population to connectivity," he said. He pointed out that even though China has already about 10 million Internet users - and could have 200 million by 2005 if mobile telephones deliver on their potential - connectivity is still far below the critical mass necessary for e-commerce to be viable. He said that outside urban centers such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, only 5 percent of the population now has a telephone. ich denke der artikel zeigt noch mal ganz klar und deutlich auf, dass china über einen markt mit nie dagewesenem potential verfügt, andererseits es aber auch ein hohes maß an subtilität und verständnis für die chinesischen lebensart erfordert (wie bereits an anderer stelle angerissen) um sich diesen markt zu erschließen.

ich denke phan versteht es sehr gut, sich einen goldenen schlüssel anzufertigen um im reich der mitte den fuß zwischen die tür zu halten. schauen wir uns die beteiligungen an, schauen wir uns die personen an, die dr. phan um sich schart. in meinen augen ein netzwerk fähiger leute, die, ganz wichtig, zu einem großem teil selber aus asien kommen und auch entsprechend die mentalität verstehen bzw. leben. nichts scheint in china wichtiger zu sein als über ein solches personelles netzwerk zu verfügen.

da habe ich auch schon mal gewohnt. Naja ist ja nicht so prickelnd!

An alle: was ist denn jetzt mit dem E&Y Bericht und wie weit ist denn das Filing an der Nasdaq. Nach euren Angaben hätte es ja schon lange erfolgen müssen. Außerdem ist immer noch die Frage nach dem CEO und dem amerikanischen Partner nicht beantwortet. Dies sind alles Dinge
die einen stutzig machen können ob long oder nicht.
Bin selber long seit Oktober. Auf jedenfall sollte man sich doch mal gedanken machen, denn noch mal solche Tage wie die letzten paar Wochen möchte ich nicht mehr erleben. Und was soll das gesülze mit den MM

nach unseren Angaben hätte es nicht schon lange erfolgen müssen. Deine Frage wird jeden Tag aufs Neue gestellt und auch beantwortet. Mein Tipp: bevor du das nächste Mal etwas schreibst, mach dir doch die kleine Mühe und lese auch andere Beiträge, dann würde sich wahrscheinlich vieles erübrigen.

Zur Praxis der MM am OTC-BB Market: ich verstehe nicht so recht, worauf sich der Begriff "Gesülze" beziehen soll. Auch hier mein Tipp: Informationen über das Marktsegment einholen, an welcher eine Aktie gehandelt wird, die ja nun offenbar in deinem Besitz ist.

Es tut mir leid, wenn meine Antwort nicht ganz freundlich klingt, aber es nervt langsam, alle 5 Stunden die gleichen Fragen beantworten zu müssen, nur weil einige zu faul (und offensichtlich auch zu desinteressiert) sind, sich mit den Beiträgen und Kommentaren anderer Teilnehmer in diesem Thread auseinanderzusetzen.
