K92 Mining Inc. ("K92") (TSX VENTURE:KNT)(OTCQB:KNTNF) is pleased to announce recent results from 11 diamond drill holes completed in the ongoing underground grade control drilling program at its high grade Kainantu Gold Mine.
A number of these latest results are particularly important as they show wide high grade intersections less than 20 metres from the drill cuddy.
Ian Stalker, K92 Chief Executive Officer and Director, states, "The latest grade control drilling results include some of the widest that we have seen to date at Irumafimpa, with 8.2 metres at 24.65 g/t AuEq recorded in hole GCDD0074 and 4 metres at 60.57 g/t AuEq recorded in hole GCDD0071. Importantly in both places these intersections commence less than 20 metres from the drill cuddy."
Table 1 and 2 below provides a summary of the results from eleven diamond grade control which have been drilled into stope areas. Table 1 provides a summary of the significant intercepts from the holes, while Table 2 provides details of collar location and hole orientation.

The Management and staff of the company own approx 20% of the shares of the company that they have purchased. All Insider buys and sells can be found at www.canadianinsider.com. I am not sure what you mean by "nice deals for cheap options and warrants". All options issued are issued within the guidelines of the Company's stock option plan, as approved by the shareholders in the AGM, and under the pricing guidelines of the TSX Venture Exchange.
It is, of course, the goal of the Board and Management of K92 Mining to create shareholder value.
There are several ways to increase shareholder value. One of them is through the expansion of the resource (number of ounces of gold in this case). The Board and Management of K92 Mining have long stated that they believe that this project has tremendous exploration upside and contained the ability to have a significant increase in resources. Papau New Guinea contains numerous "elephant" sized deposits, and the regional geology is very conducive to such deposits.
As you know, recently, the Company stepped out 500 m from Kora and hit a VERY exciting drill result (see link below). The Board and Management are very excited about this and believe that an aggressive drill campaign can potentially delineate a larger resource for the company, thus driving substantial shareholder value to the company. While the Company can wait and potentially fund this expansion from revenues, they opted to accept this financing in order to fast-track an aggressive drill campaign. This will provide significantly more news flow and the company hopes, more ounces. A 500 meter step out is a significant distance away (plus 150 m down dip), and the drill result was higher grade and wider than most at the present deposit. as such, the management is eager to prove out their theory.
While I understand your concern, the Company's intent is to fast track share holder value.

Also ich bin gestern auch mit einer ersten Position in CAN eingestiegen. Gedacht als Trading aber mal schauen was die noch so von sich geben. Da bei den letzten PP auch immer das Management gezeichnet hat und die einen guten Support haben (noch?!) hoffe ich auf gute News für Q2. Im März Update hieß es ja das Sie alleine im März bereits ihr 600t per day Ziel erreicht haben und 12.000 Tonnen verarbeitet haben das würde ja bereits bei den Graden für 50k p.a. Unzen Gold ausreichen daher können gute News kommen und da der Wert ausgebombt ist und keiner ihn mag vielleicht reagiert man ja positiv :-) habe der IR dort einen Fragenkatalog gesendet stelle die Antworten dann zeitnah hier rein!
